Wonders of Jesus

Lord, what e’er You want for me, is fine,
Always Your will be done, never mine.
Wisdom I possess, is nothing at all,
That’s why each day, on You I will call.

Always and only, Your will for me,
In accepting this, I have victory.
Life without Your guidance, is not wise,
I must not listen, to Satan’s lies.

In this wicked world, troubles arrive,
Without You near, I couldn’t survive.
Your will for me Lord, only and always,
Show me what You want, for me each day.

Teach me and guide me, each day anew,
For I know Your strength, will see me thru’.
Your will be done Lord, this is my pray’r,
For I’m sure Your Presence, is always there.

The Father’s will, Lord, You did accept,
I’d be a fool, if His will I’d reject.
Always and only, Your will for me,
As I walk with You, thru’ eternity.

Because of Christ, do I even dare,
Approach God’s Throne of Grace, way up there.
Without Jesus, I’m God’s enemy,
But by faith in Christ, God justified me.

Since I became a child of the King,
Abundant are God’s wondrous blessings.
Christ brough me into God’s family,
I’m an heir to life, eternally.

Because of Christ, I’ll enter Heav’n’s door,
And there for e’er, Jesus I’ll adore.
Because of Christ, my mansion awaits,
For just Christ has the key, to Heav’n’s gates.

Because of Christ, I’ll never see Hell,
In the Lake of Fire, I shall ne’er dwell.
Because of Christ, my sins are forgiv’n,
Because of Christ, I’m going to Heav’n.

As the beauty of morning flows out of Heav’n,
Lavishly fresh air and sunlight, God has giv’n.
The soft gentle breeze brings on the rain,
So many blessings, from God we attain.

The beauty of our God’s great forgiveness,
Is just one thing that comes from His goodness.
God’s grace is like the rush of a river,
There to aid us, forever and ever!

As the beauty of a wondrous rainbow,
His Promise He’ll keep, He wants you to know!
The dazzling sunset, only He can paint,
He gives joy and peace, to all His saints!

Such silent beauty, of a night so still,
And the far off cry of a whippoorwill.
Frogs in the marsh, to each other call,
God made all these beauties, for one and all!

Oft’ the beauty we seek far off, is near,
God gives happiness, causes us to cheer.
The dewy green grass, an exquisite floor,
And the flowers blooming, at my front door!

The amazing beauty of our Lord’s grace,
Christ filling my heart, ‘til I see His Face!
An awesome Saviour, God truly gave,
If we love and trust Him, He’ll surely save!

Beauty is in the eye of the one that sees,
At times ‘tis so wondrous, I fall to my knees.
As I survey all the wonders God has made,
I stand in awe, for the beauty ne’er does fade.

Beauty of man comes from within the heart,
Outward beauty, as we age, will soon depart.
Beauty seen, is in part, in him who sees,
The best of beauty, from our eyes does flee.

Natural beauty is truth and honesty,
And God’s Creative work, all in harmony.
Beauty, like truth, is always best when plain,
True beauty greatens, but false, there’s no gain.

Beauty is true love, that comes from within,
You can’t be what you’re not; no need begin!
Beauty is justice and integrity,
True beauty simply can’t be, hypocrisy!

When I think of beauty, I think of my Lord,
And for all He’s done; He should be adored!
Jesus is true beauty, without and within,
Without Jesus, I’d be condemned for my sin!

Bright and beautiful is the sunset’s rays,
Shadows lengthen, bringing a close to the day.
The sky is God’s canvas, for the sunset,
The Master Artist, portrays all so perfect!

Stars hid by the day, now the night reveals,
God’s handiwork has enormous appeal.
Creation’s beauty is an e’er present show,
As majestic mountain tops, cover’d with snow.

His beauty is in the grass at my feet,
In sunshine; and a baby’s face so sweet.
In a flower, as its petals open wide,
Revealing God’s faultless beauty inside.

We need not look for beauty far away,
God places it before you, ev’ry day!
He gives us beauty right outside our door,
The Master Artist, holds so much in store!

Many look for God, and say He’s concealed,
But, in all Earth’s beauty, He is revealed!
The heavens come alive, as lightening flames,
While so far away, stars write out His Name!

We need not go far, happiness to find,
Just open our eyes, and stop being blind!
Joy and peace and love; and contentment too,
God wants us to have these, both me and you.

When God created the world, He made a Way,
That we could live in the heights of Heav’n some day.
His Son is the answer, He holds the ‘key’,
To a “mansion” in Heav’n, for eternity.

We can only see the things in this world,
But one day, blissful Heav’n will be unfurl’d.
The beauty of this Earth, cannot compare,
To this awesome Place, God’s children will share.

Because of Jesus

Just because of Christ, can I ever dare,
To approach God’s throne of Grace, way up there.
The barrier between, Jesus tore down,
And made it possible, for my future crown.

Because of Jesus, I have peace inside,
For His awesome Spirit, in me resides.
The world, this kind of peace, cannot give,
How I thank Him, as He helps me to live.

Just because of Jesus, worry is gone,
On His love, strength and wisdom, I have drawn.
Let us always take all out troubles to Him,
And the peace of God, will make all else grow dim.

I have great courage within, to go on,
Just because of Jesus, God’s only Son.
He increases my faith, day after day,
I praise my Saviour, each step of the way.

I have much confidence, I have no fear,
For my precious Jesus, is always near.
He will never leave me, nor e’er forsake,
This precious Promise, did our Saviour make.

Just because of Jesus, I have endless hope,
Light He gives, in darkness I no longer grope.
I claim His Promise, life eternally,
Just Jesus can give me, this victory!

Six grand things, no seven, I can name,
Because Christ Jesus, I trust and claim.
Such marvelous blessings, come my way,
From God’s storehouse, ev’ry single day.

God’s love, is the best blessing of all,
There to pick me up, each time I fall.
Hid loving-kindness, is amazing,
Nothing on Earth, can top this blessing!

Christ’s Presence is with me, e’er so near,
Removing my worries, and my fears.
What a grand blessing this is, indeed,
When to His loving will, I do heed.

The Father’s patience with me, ne’er ends,
Because His Holy Son, is my Friend.
The unwise world, simply cannot know,
This superb blessing, that God bestows!

God’s faithfulness, is there all the time,
Day or night, and I can claim as mine.
God will always, be faithful to you,
If only righteousness, you pursue.

The pardon when I sin, is complete,
All my vile, ugly sins, He deletes!
Cast in the sea, of forgetfulness,
The Almighty God, surely does bless!

All our needs are supplied, so wisely,
For He watches o’er us, tenderly!
Body and soul, He blesses each day,
When we love and trust Him, and obey!

That great hope, of life eternally,
That blessing is assigned, O so free!
This hope is a feeling, deep inside,
That knows one day, with Christ we’ll abide!

BELIEF IS A MIRACLE . . . Dec.1999 Message

Belief can be a miracle, true,
A miracle, that can happen to you.
It can change your life spectacularly,
Belief gives you life, eternally!

Believing God can erase all sins,
A miracle; that with faith, begins!
We are justified, by Christ’s precious Blood,
‘Not Guilty’ in Heav’n, by this wondrous Flood!

Belief; a miracle, that sanctifies,
By trusting His Word, that never lies!
Set apart to serve our awesome Lord,
Spreading the Gospel set forth in His Word!

Belief; a miracle, that gives a new heart,
A ‘new’ creature, with a brand new start.
Children of God, and with Christ joint heirs,
One day the bliss of Heav’n with God we’ll share.

Believing is a miracle; true,
This miracle can happen to you!
Receiving Jesus makes you God’s child,
From Hell, you will always be exiled!

Salvation is a ‘Gift’ God gives to you,
A miracle; reserved for a ‘few’.
But most, by unbelief walk away,
From the greatest miracle to come our way!

Better Than Life

Better than life, is Thy loving kindness,
My lips shall praise Thee, for You always bless.
For as long as I live, I will bless Thee,
I’ll lift up Thy Name, for eternity.

As I lay on my bed, and meditate,
I remember Thy love and goodness so great.
Thou hast been my help, each time I do pray,
In Thy wings shadow, I’ll praise Thee always.

My soul will follow hard, after Thee,
For Thy wondrous right hand upholdeth me.
Truly God hath attended to my pray’r,
Bless’d be God, for His love, mercy and care.

For the Lord God is my Sun and my Shield,
And unto my Lord, I will totally yield.
No good thing will He withhold from me,
Or anyone who does walk, righteously.

Thou art good, always ready to forgive,
Mercy so plentiful, each day I live.
Lord, there are no other gods like unto Thee,
The Creator God, of eternity.

Blessings of the Lord, is wealth untold,
As you walk with Him, they do unfold.
Wisdom and knowledge, to us He’ll give,
They’ll grow greater, each day as we live.

Faith to God, is more precious than gold,
God gives a Gift, salvation of our soul.
Love that He gives, casts out all our fear,
Love so perfect, lasts ‘til He appears.

The peace that He gives, is special peace,
With each passing day, it does increase.
This peace, in this world cannot be found,
Only thru’ Christ, does this peace abound.

Comfort, a blessing from God above,
In trials or troubles, sent in love.
He’ll grant strength and help, we need not fear,
For our wondrous God is always near.

Precious joy, He gives, deep down inside,
Comes to all who, in Jesus abide.
All these blessings are riches untold,
Giv’n to His children, to have and hold.

God’s blessings are as showers, from above,
Each little raindrop, is simply pure love.
Just as the rain blesses the dry parched land,
Gifts He gives are blessings from his Hand.

Showers of blessings, they ne’er do cease,
God truly blesses with joy, love and peace.
For raining blessings on all His children,
We must thank and praise Him, o’er and o’er again.

God’s blessings are shower’d on us each day,
His awesome love and grace He does display.
Blessings, like raindrops that caress our soul,
By Almighty God, always in control.

We need to thank God for blessings He gives,
For loving compassion, each day we live.
His wisdom in guiding, His tender watch care,
His forgiveness of sins; nothing can compare.

When you go in prayer to our awesome Lord,
Do you thank Him for things we couldn’t afford?
Ev’rything He gives is entirely free,
And His precious Son, Jesus is the Key.

Do God’s blessings come as rain from above?
Do you accept Jesus and His precious love?
Jesus is the Key to the Father’s heart,
Where Heav’n is yours, ne’er more to depart.

The Blessing of Joy

The blessing of joy, runs O' so deep,
Into the heart, it lovingly seeps.
Joy is but one, of a multitude,
Of awesome blessings, the Lord includes.

Joy, is as a peaceful river flowing,
God's gracious love, His children knowing.
That peaceful river, carries God's love,
Silently, swiftly, from far above.

It just keeps flowing, that blessing of joy,
This blessing, NO one can destroy.
The roots of joy, grow deep in the heart,
Firmly planted, and will not depart.

Joy flows, thru' troubles and afflictions,
This blessing from God, is perfection.
This peaceful river, will never cease,
For God gives His children, eternal peace.

This God giv'n blessing of joy, flows always,
Thru' the darkest nights, and brightest days.
It flows thru' persecution, so deep,
A Promise from the Lord, that He will keep.

Happiness is temporal, but joy goes on,
For this we can be thankful, to God's Son.
For this blessing, we must trust and obey,
Trust Jesus, my friend, there's NO other way!

The ‘Book of Life’ is one God does keep,
On His children; be they live, or asleep.
Only the righteous have their names there,
All who reject Christ won’t ever fare.

Just those who fear God, and Him revere,
Their names in the ‘Book of Life’ will appear.
If your name in the ‘Book’ can’t be found,
You’re condemned; you will be Hell bound.

Only those who do trust and believe,
Will our Lord Jesus, to Heav’n receive.
Those who reject Christ and call God a liar,
Receive the second death; the ‘Lake of Fire’.

To become a child of God, one of His own,
The Bible tells us how, it is clearly shown.
We must receive Jesus, believe on His Name,
Then confess Him to all, feeling no shame.

Faith on your part, is an absolute must,
In God’s only begotten Son, you must trust.
You’re saved by faith, thru’ God’s amazing grace,
God forgives you, all your sin He’ll erase.

If you want to live in Heav’n someday,
Where the City of Gold, is a wondrous display.
You must be born into God’s family,
To live in God’s Home, for eternity.

“Born again,” many cannot comprehend,
Being a child of God, makes you His friend.
This spiritual life comes, just thru’ Christ our Lord,
‘Tis told o’er and o’er, in God’s Holy Word.

Unless you trust Christ, you’re God’s enemy,
And you’ll live in Hell, for eternity.
You must believe Christ died, then rose again,
Simply trusting in Jesus, makes you God’s friend.

Works, sacraments, or vainly repeated pray’r,
In God’s eyes, will not get us anywhere.
Only our faith, and God’s amazing grace,
Will grant us access, to God’s heav’n’ly place.

I can hear Him say: "Walk close to Me,
For to life’s problems, I hold the key.
I can help you, your burdens to bear,
I love you dearly, and I do care."

When life’s paths, get foreboding and dark,
Walk in My light, and to Me do hark.
"Walk close to Me," I can hear Him say,
"For I can make it, a brighter day."

"Walk close to Me," Jesus gently states,
"Life’s snarls, I can help eliminate.
Chaos that baffles you, I’ll help clear,
My child, I’ll assist, I’m always near."

"Walk close to Me," my Master declares,
"For no one else, with Me can compare.
I’ll give you wisdom, I’ll give you pow’r,
For I’m with you always, ev’ry hour."

"Walk close to Me," my Friend speaks low,
"For I will guide you, where e’er you go.
I’ll be with you, ev’ry step of the way,
Loving and caring for you, each day."

"Walk close to Me," ‘tis my Shepherd’s voice,
And each time I hear, I simply rejoice.
When I stray, He brings me back to the fold,
His rebuke to me, is worth more than gold.

"Walk close to Me," my Saviour does say,
As I get closer to Heav’n each day.
Only Christ Jesus holds Heav’n’s one key,
And just He can give, life eternally.

God’s grace is more than I can comprehend,
This awesome Being, who calls me His friend.
‘Tis undeserved favor, sent from above,
‘Tis kindness and mercy and abundant love.

This amazing grace, to His children does flow,
‘Tis a great privilege the Lord God to know.
Because of our faith, He does justify,
On His amazing grace, we can rely.

God declares us righteous, when we believe,
And everlasting life, we do receive.
A home in Heaven, with our Lord awaits,
Our prepared mansion, is just thru’ the gates.

This wondrous grace, we don’t work for or deserve,
Comes from our Lord’s never ending reserve.
Not one person, is worthy of His grace,
But faith in Christ assures, we’ll see His Face.

Our Lord is merciful, loving and kind,
And those who believe, won’t be left behind.
To His amazing grace, all can access,

He knows when we are weary, after a hectic day,
He sees our fruitless efforts, all along our way.
He knows we get discouraged, and has seen us cry,
He has seen our anguish, and seen how hard we try.

‘Tis difficult, to lead a life for the Lord,
For most of the world, refuse to believe His Word.
As God’s children, we must be His servants too,
So we must serve Him, in love and faith so true.

He knows our hearts, and if we are sincere,
So let us serve Him, with reverence and fear.
If we be wise, we will turn many to the Lord,
For we will trust His guidance, His Holy Word.

If we follow Him, we will be fishers of men,
Serving Him faithfully, o’er and o’er again.
Tho’ Christ has set us free, and gave us victory,
We must obey Him, to have life eternally.

He that serves the Master, honor shall receive,
Let us look to His Hand, and trust and believe.
Let us serve the Lord, and be faithful and wise,
Our loyal faithfulness, He will not despise.

He knows when we’re weary, after a hectic day,
Ev’n tho’ our efforts are fruitless, along the way.
Let us not be discouraged, but to Him cry out,
Tho’ our efforts seem to fail, let us never doubt.

On our own pow’r we cannot save, ev’n one soul,
Saving is not our job; bringing the Word is our goal.
How shall they believe, if they do not hear?
He knows when we reach out, in Godly fear!

No matter the trouble, He’ll not forsake,
Of His awesome Presence, you can partake.
For He does promise, “I will never leave,”
All we need do, is accept and believe.

It’s such a privilege, to have Him so near,
His Presence chases away, all our fear.
Every doubt we have, seems to fly away,
Blessings He bestows, make a better day.

Tho’ His awesome Presence, I cannot see,
I know He’s always, watching over me.
Great peace and contentment, do flood my soul,
For I know my Saviour, is in control.

Such a feeling of warmth, I feel deep inside,
For the Spirit of my Lord, does abide.
He leads and guides, in the way I should go,
Doing His best, all right roads to show.

His awesome Presence, in my life does shine,
I praise God above, that Jesus is mine.
I thank You Lord, for all you do for me,
Both here in this life, and in eternity.

His Guiding Light

He’s always there, when you ask for aid,
In pain and sorrow, and when you’re afraid.
He can help make your dark days seem bright,
My friend, just walk in His Guiding Light.

His Guiding Light can shine on your darkest day,
As He lovingly shows you, the right way.
As a Shepherd, keeping watch on His sheep,
In His loving Arms, He will tenderly keep.

From high above, He watches His own,
With Him as your Friend, you’re never alone.
Our Lord is only a short prayer away,
And His Guiding Light, He’ll gladly display.

His Guiding Light, can vast comfort bring,
His peace, power and joy, are great blessings.
With His awesome Presence, ever so near,
There isn’t anything we should fear.

Pitfalls and traps, can’t be seen at night,
But all is so clear, in His Guiding Light.
But should you stumble, or even fall,
He’ll reach out His Hand to you, when you call.

This earthly life will always be bright,
When our hearts, by Jesus, are made right.
If we walk where He guides us, each day,
Burdens will be lifted, along the way.

If we were to walk, on a city street,
That’s O so busy, with so many feet,
He’s there, no matter how huge the crowd,
And His Voice is soft, tho’ theirs is loud.

If you walk on a lone mountain path,
Out away from man’s, unholy wrath.
All you hear is a bird’s cheery song,
His Presence is there, as you stroll along.

No matter where you go, or what you do,
His Presence will always be with you.
An awesome feeling, to know He’s there,
His amazing grace, shows He does care.

His Presence, so much peace provides,
For we know He’ll always lead and guide.
His Presence, is from God, a blessing true,
A great privilege we have, me and you.

If you don’t know Jesus, you miss so much,
You’ll never know His love, or tender touch.
The bliss of Heaven, you will never see,
For Christ Jesus, holds Heaven’s only key.

Do you want His Presence, e’er so near?
Do you want Him, to comfort and cheer?
Open the door, to your heart today,
And Jesus will help you with each new day.

Lord, I feel Your power, ev’ry day,
As abundant blessings, come my way.
You lead me, direct me, and You guide,
And my needs, You graciously provide.

Lord, I feel Your power, when I’m weak,
You never fail me, when you I seek.
I feel Your strength surge, thru’ my fragile frame,
As I humbly cry out, to Your Name.

When Satan attacks, I feel Your pow’r,
Lord, You are on call, at any hour.
Satan’s fiery darts, cannot penetrate,
The shield before me, which is my faith.

Lord, I see Your power, all around,
Nature discloses, with sight and sound.
Beauty You’ve made, in Earth, sea and sky,
Assures me that on You, I can rely.

When I consider, Your awesome pow’r,
That one day shall make, all wicked to cow’r.
Lord, It’s so amazing to me,
That I’ll live with You, eternally.

I experienced, Your great pow’r, one day,
A bolt of lightning, came my v’ry way.
It didn’t hit me; but O so near,
With such speed, I had no chance to fear.

Of ev’ry thing, You are in control,
I trust You, Lord, it is well with my soul!
On Your children, You keep a watchful eye,
On Your love and pow,r, we can rely.

I Can’t Comprehend

Our finite minds cannot comprehend,
How You have no beginning, or no end.
You are the Triune God of eternity,
We cannot understand, this mystery.

I can’t comprehend, how all things You know,
You watch the world, Your eyes go to and fro.
Before a thing begins, You know the end,
Yet on Your awesomeness, we can depend.

I can’t comprehend, Your Almighty pow’r,
‘Tis abundantly with You ev’ry hour.
Nothing is impossible for You,
Yet Your love stays, ever firm and true.

I can’t comprehend, Your wisdom so great,
That most in the world, underestimate.
Far beyond us, is finding out Your ways,
Yet You stoop to assist us, ev’ry day.

Your majestic Presence, I can’t comprehend,
And the fact that You call, true Christians “Friend.”
A mystery, that in me God abides,
And that “forever” there He’ll reside.

That this awesome God, e’vn considers me,
Is truly to me, a great mystery.
Our God’s character, I can’t comprehend,
But I’m eternally grateful, I’m His friend.

Jesus Can Do It All

If Jesus can forgive, a sinner such as I,
Why would He, any other sinner deny?
If you truly repent, from deep in your heart,
Everlasting life for you, has had its start!

When I walk into the darkness, Christ is there,
He guides and encourages, no matter where.
Trusting all the while, I must walk Jesus’ path,
Trusting His righteousness, I avoid God’s wrath.

Any righteousness I have, is “filthy rags,”
‘Tis God’s grace that saves, not works, that I may brag.
Christ paid my sin debt, on the cross of Calvary,
Entitling me to life, eternally.

When Jesus touched my blind eyes, I then could see,
Just how much God loved, a sinner such as me.
We are not under law, but under God’s grace,
I thank God, for one day, I’ll see Jesus’ Face!

I’ve never been sorry, not one single day,
That I trusted Jesus, and went His way.
Only Jesus’ righteousness, can justify,
So on our precious Saviour, we must rely.

Jesus gives us, eternal security,
When He gives us salvation, ever so free.
We are saved by grace, not by works that we do,
Are you this day, one of God’s treasured “few”?

According to my works, He shall judge me,
Reward or loss, will be my final decree.

If you use His Name (CHRISTian), you MUST depart from evil. 2 Tim. 2:19

The Bible of Christ Jesus, clearly tells,
Of Whom He really is, and where He dwells.
God’s most Holy Word, so plainly does state,
Of what will surely be, our eternal fate.

To access Heav’n’s glory, one special day,
Jesus is the Truth, the Life and only Way.
Only Christ Jesus, our soul can redeem,
If security in Heav’n, is our dream.

Christ’s righteousness, to us must be applied,
Or we are not by the Father, justified.
Jesus is the only Door, to go thru’,
Or the wonders of Heav’n, you will not view.

Jesus is the Shephard, that guides our path,
Following Him, will keep us from God’s wrath.
You do not want to be, condemn’d to Hell,
Only the devil’s children, there shall dwell.

We must build on Jesus, the Cornerstone,
Or we are not, one of God’s very own.
We want all our works to stand, not to burn,
To obey Christ Jesus, this we must learn.

Most people today, Christ Jesus reject,
None of these souls, will God the Father protect.
All who deny God’s Son, in Heav’n will NOT dwell,
But instead the Lake of Fire, horrid Hell.

Joy, is the echo of Christ, deep within,
Without my Lord, I’d want not to begin.
It’s gladness of heart, in the life of man,
But not without Jesus, ‘tis not God’s plan!

Joy has its springs, way deep down inside,
But only when you, with Christ, do abide.
That spring of joy will never, ever run dry,
No matter what comes, ‘tis there ‘til we die!

Joy comes not from riches, nor praise of men,
Only from our Saviour, I’ll tell again!
Just trust and obey, have Christ in your heart,
And my friend, that joy, will never depart!

Judgment Day . . . July 2012 Monthly Message

One day, all people will stand Face to face,
Before Judge Jesus, at a judgment place.
“According to their works,” is how it shall be,
As Christ readies each one, for eternity.

In this life as we live, we must prepare,
For our eternal soul, we must take care.
God provides, only two destinations,
This we must take, in consideration.

At the “Judgment Seat,” believers will stand,
Not one will be forgotten, in all the land.
Do you believe God? Do you trust and obey?
God’s Book tells us, there’s no other way!

Those who deny Christ, and refuse to believe,
Harsh judgment at the “Great White Throne,” they’ll receive.
Into the “Lake of Fire,” these will be cast,
Their punishment there, will for ever last.

Decisions for eternity, in your hand rest,
Don’t wait for Judgment Day, to take the test!
It really does matter, what you believe,
Trust Jesus, if Heaven, you want to receive.

He waits this day for you, so patiently,
His desire is to give you, life eternally.
Open the door of your heart, this very day,
For just Jesus can get you, to Heaven one day.

Judgment Day looms, it shall come, that is sure,
Will it be Hell’s horror, or Heaven’s grandeur?
Only in this life on Earth, can you decide,
Where in eternity, you will reside.
BE WISE my friend!

The Judgment Seat of Christ is not far away,
ALL believers will stand ‘fore Him that day.
We will be judged by the Righteous One,
Rewards will be giv’n for service well done.

Already judged, is our destiny,
Accepting Christ, omits Hell’s agony.
For our sins, on the Cross, He did atone,
Saved our sins from Hell, He and He alone!

Our service to Him will come into light,
Only works done for Him, will stand so bright.
All others shall be burned, clean away,
ALL will be revealed by fire that day.

If our work be burned, we’ll suffer loss,
If not done for Christ, ‘tis counted as dross.
But if our work survive the test of the fire,
We’ll receive a reward; the Lord’s desire.

Only what we do for Jesus will last,
All others is burned; what a contrast!
If you do works to get glory and fame,
You have your reward now; then, you’ll have shame.

Friend, are you ready, before Christ to stand?
You’ll be alone, with your works in your hand.
Will you receive reward? OR suffer loss?
Only this Man knows; the One from the Cross.

Judgment Seat? Great White Throne?

Jesus can see, deep down in your soul,
As your life actions, He does patrol.
There is nothing from Him, you can hide,
For His Spirit, in you does abide.

Your heart within, our Lord Jesus knows,
Words and actions, from your heart flows.
Ev’ry word you say, all things you do,
All have their start, in the heart of you.

We all must face Christ, on Judgment Day,
To this awesome Judge, what will you say?
Excuses won’t work, neither will lies,
All is recorded, on which He relies.

Accountable, each one of us will be,
To the Judge, King of eternity.
What e’er His verdict, twill be just and true,
No one can change it, not me, not you!

The Judgment Seat? Or the Great White Throne?
Accept or reject Christ . . . Each to his own.
Which of these two places, will you stand?
The decision lies, just in your hand.

At the Judgment Seat, to Heav’n you’ll go,
At the Great White Throne, ‘twill be Hell’s woe.
Jesus can see deep down, in your soul,
My friend, give Him your life, to control.

Lessons From Life

What have I learned, in my life on Earth?
My wisdom and strength, are of no worth.
I must be humble, I must be meek,
If the Lord’s guidance, I truly seek.

I must ne’er think, “I’ll do it on my own,”
If I e’er want, God’s will to be shown.
I must have faith, and trust Him each day,
And I must love Him, and Him obey.

The Lord many troubles, will permit,
But He’ll always help, by His Spirit.
His Promise “I will not leave or forsake,”
But a commitment to Him, first we must make.

Tho’ temptation and trials, oft are great,
Vast comfort from Him, won’t e’er be late.
His loving Presence, is e’er so near,
We must have faith, not worry or fear.

At times His will, we can’t comprehend,
But if we love and obey, He’s our Friend.
Lessons from life can sometimes be hard,
But from His Throne of grace, we’re ne’er barr’d.

If we are God’s child, and love Him true,
He will always be there, for me and you.
We must be humble, we must be meek,
If the Lord’s guidance, we truly seek.

Such a great comfort, to know He’s there,
So encouraging, to Know He cares.
No matter our trouble, no matter our pain,
Christ’s love, strength, wisdom and help, we can gain.

My Soul Is In His Hands

I have a Friend, who takes care of me,
And He does it each day, lovingly.
My soul is in His capable Hands,
Faith in Him, is all He demands.

In His sufficient Hands, my soul does rest,
For He sees me thru’, my toughest test.
He’s always there, He’ll never forsake,
Of His love, I will gladly partake.

His kind and gentle Hands, support me,
When I stumble, and fall to my knees.
He’s there, when I fall flat on my face,
His Hands lift me up, with amazing grace.

His comforting Hands, give me great peace,
Any doubt and worry are released.
Wondrous contentment, He gives to me,
For my soul’s in His Hands, eternally.

In His mighty Hands, my longing soul rests,
For I know He’ll give me, His v’ry best.
The City of Gold, is awaiting me,
Where God’s children shall live, eternally.

You are my Strength O Lord, how I love Thee,
You are my Fortress, You deliver me.
You are my Rock, it is You that I trust,
You know our frame, You remember we are dust.

You and You alone Lord, are worthy,
Just You can save me from my enemies.
I will call upon You, with loving praise,
My voice to You, I’ll gratefully raise.

When I’m in distress, I call upon You,
O Lord, You are so merciful and true.
My sad, confused voice, comes to Your Ears,
My heartfelt plea O Lord, You always hear.

From old Satan’s wiles, You deliver me,
You’re there in my day of calamity.
O Lord, my God, You are truly my Stay,
I thank You Lord, that You guide my way.

If I don’t depart, and Thy ways I keep,
Your judgment for me, a reward I’ll reap.
I must keep away from iniquity,
I must keep Your statutes; live righteously.

O Lord, Thou will lighten my darkness,
Help me follow Thy way, of perfectness.
You deliver me from my enemies,
No one, any where, is greater than Thee.

Once for all, You died at Calvary,
On that cruel cross, in agony.
You paid a price, I could never pay,
Shedding Your Blood, was the only way.

Just once You offer’d a Sacrifice,
And the Father said, it did suffice.
Lord You are holy, pure and sin-free,
And You died on that cross, just for me.

Your once for all Sacrifice, does sanctify,
If by our faith, we do qualify.
Off’rings of the past, ne’er took sins away,
But Your one Off’ring, brought mercy my way.

Your once for all Sacrifice for sins,
Is a precious Gift, all believers win.
Forgiveness from sins, plus eternal life,
You remove my worry, stress and strife.

Once for all, how I thank You each day,
The price of my sins, You agreed to pay.
You promis’d me life, in Heav’n above,
Lord Jesus, I thank you for Your love.

When the great trials of life get you down,
When painful tribulations make you frown.
There is one true Friend, ever so near,
He will help bear your burdens, and calm your fears.

When all those you thought were friends, forsake you,
When you find their promises were not true.
There is one true Friend, who will never leave,
He will prove Himself, every time you grieve.

When absolute sorrow touches your soul,
When weeping and mourning takes full control.
There is one true Friend, always by your side,
He whispers softly, “In you I abide.”

When you think you can’t take any more pain,
When storms roll in, and all you see is rain.
There is one true Friend, who can make the sun shine,
As He sheds His great Light, ever so fine.

When doubt and worry makes peace fly away,
When troubling thoughts attack, day after day.
There is one true Friend, your peace can restore,
He will grant peace, joy, comfort, and much more.

When we trust and obey, Christ is our Friend,
He will be with us always, to the end.
But we must love others, the same as He,
Only then will we have life eternally.

Do we, like John, have a deep love confessed?
Do we lay our head, on the Master’s Breast?
When we’re weary, where is our resting place?
Do we seek the world, or Christ Jesus’ Face?

Many people in the world today,
Say “I’m Christian” but from Christ run away.
Upon Christ’s Breast, they do not lay their head,
But they look, for worldly comfort instead.

Do you rest in bars, with booze flowing free?
Or do you prefer drugs and sex orgies?
Do you ever seek, the true Resting Place?
Have you considered, God’s amazing grace?

“I’m a Christian” . . . words many folk say,
But they walk the broad path, go their own way.
They Ne’er consider God’s awesome belssings,
He offers a Resting Place, a wondrous thing.

The world offers insufficient rest,
Far from superior, far from the best.
The only Resting Place, is Christ so true,
His open Arms are reaching out to you.

Shadow of Thy Wings

God is symbolized many ways in His Word,
One way is a large and protective bird.
With His feathers, He shall cover thee,
Under His wings, we can trust, you and me.

Under the shadow of His wings, we can hide,
When with the Lord Jesus, we do abide.
We can run to Him, and find safety there,
We can forget all our worries and cares.

His lovingkindness is wondrous indeed,
When to His Holy Word, we truly heed.
Under the shadow of His wings, we can trust,
But our believing in faith, is a must.

My soul trusteth in Thee, ev’ry new day,
You are my Refuge, as I go my way.
To the shadow of Thy wings, I run fast,
Until calamities, be overpast.

Because Thou hast been my help, I rejoice,
When I cry out to You, You hear my voice.
In the shadow of thy wings, safe I feel,
For my heart and soul, You lovingly heal.

On that horrid cross, was our Sacrifice.
You’re our Bright Light, that shows the way,
Leading and guiding us, night and day.

You’re our Rigid Rock, a Firm Foundation,
Lord, You are our true preservation.
If we will just build our life on You,
You will give us strength each day anew.

Your amazing grace, is always there,
A personal Saviour, who does care.
If in this life, with You we will walk,
You will assist, when the devil stalks.

Sweet Jesus, You are so good to me,
You give to me, life eternally.
In Heav’n, You promise a dwelling place,
I thank You for, Your amazing grace!

The Lord is my Shepherd, I’m one of His sheep,
He watches ov’r me, and does tenderly keep.
The Lord is my Shepherd, He supplies my needs,
To green pastures and still waters, He leads.

The Lord is my Shepherd, He sees something in me,
That all those around me, just fail to see.
The Lord is my Shepherd, He leads on right paths,
Restoring my soul, keeping me from God’s wrath.

The Lord is my Shepherd, no evil shall I fear,
Thru’ the shadow of death, He is always near.
The Lord is my Shepherd, great comfort He brings,
My enemies can’t comprehend, His blessings.

The Lord is my Shepherd, He’ll always be there,
Lovingkindness He reveals, because He cares.
The Lord is my Shepherd, I do not have dread,
Because of the Words, my Shepherd has said.

The Lord is my Shepherd, He truly loves me,
What follows me, is goodness and mercy.
The Lord is my Shepherd, in His House I shall dwell,
And for eternity, my fears He shall quell.

Tho’ terrible pain wracks my body,
Tho’ pain is actually agony,
His awesome Presence is always there,
I can feel His vast comforting care.

I can tolerate the pain each day,
For His grand Presence eases the way.
He’ll ne’er give us more than we can bear,
His comforting compassion, He shares.

No matter what Satan sends my way,
Christ’s wondrous Presence is there each day.
He’s always there, He’ll never leave,
Comfort from Him, I always achieve.

The wonder of His Presence I feel,
Love, comfort and strength, is O so real.
His Presence is amazingly true,
It’s there for me, and can be for you.

This Amazing God

What can you expect Christ to do for thee?
This amazing God of eternity.
If you’re God’s child, He’ll come thru’ for you,
With so many blessings, each day anew.

Every need you have, He will supply,
And your ardent pray’rs, won’t be denied.
Christ gave us access, to God’s Throne of Grace,
That we have help in life, as we run our race.

He will give you His Spirit, to abide,
Great contentment you will feel, deep inside.
A peace like none other, you’ve ever known,
Is placed in your soul, as His love is shown.

A storehouse of love, He will give to you,
When you become, one of the faithful few.
This deep well of love, will never run dry,
The more you give away, the more He’ll supply.

Wondrous joy is felt, no matter your strife,
For deep down you know, you have eternal life.
Too, deep down you know, He’ll not leave, not forsake,
You’ll feel His Presence, ev’n in your mistakes.

He’ll fully forgive you, when you repent,
To the bottom of the sea, your sins are sent.
This grand peace, not one other can supply,
On this amazing God, you can rely.

You can also expect, a mansion up there,
For our amazing God, truly does care.
But you must be God’s child, you must believe,
Or none of God’s blessings, will you receive.

Why do I love Jesus, this Man I can’t see?
To the world, this is a great mystery.
But deep in my heart, stronger my love grows,
Gratitude and praise, from my lonely heart flows.

No, I can’t see this Man I love, with my eyes,
But my love for Him, I will never deny.
I trust Him completely, and honor Him so,
This is something unbelievers, cannot know.

Respect and awe, grow more profound each day,
I long so to know Him more, in ev’ry way.
This Man I can’t see, this Man Jesus, does shine,
My heart sees Him clearly, and He is mine.

I know that He lives, and that He cares for me,
This wondrous Man who once walked, in Galilee.
My faith grows stronger, more and more each hour,
This Man I can’t see, gives me amazing pow’r.

Just because I can’t see this Man, with my eyes,
Is not a reason, His Presence to deny.
He makes it so plain, of His great love for me,
This awesome Man, whom my heart clearly sees!

Who, But You Lord?

To our precious Lord, belongs our shield,.
All we need do, is trust and yield.
Let us sing of His mercies, always,
For His mercy is built up, all our days.

Your wonders Lord, the heavens praise,
Let us to You, our thankfulness raise.
Your faithfulness is what we can count on,
‘Tis shown so wondrously, thru’ Your Son.

Who can ever be compared to You?
No one has the majesty to construe.
You alone Lord, we must greatly fear,
Let us humbly bow, as your Throne we near.

Who, O Lord, has Your tremendous might?
Faithfulness surrounds You, day and night.
You rule the violent, raging sea,
Or calm it and still it completely.

Your mighty Arm is strong indeed,
All Creation is yours, and to You heed.
Justice and Truth are before Your Face,
Blest are all those who walk in Your grace.

God’s Hand is set o’er rivers and sea,
He alone can save, both you and me.
But is you do not trust and obey,
He must punish sin, there’s no other way.

His seed and Throne shall for e’er endure,
Just as the sun, moon and stars are sure.
You must be His friend, don’t cast Him away,
Or the bliss of Heaven won’t come your way.

My Lord, why do You put up with me?
I’m filled with sin and iniquity.
A sinner, from the day I was born,
Precious Lord, for my sin, I do mourn.

I’d understand, if You’d turn away,
But You promise, to be with me alway.
This humble sinner, to You does turn,
And for Your loving grace, I do yearn.

There are many things I do, I should not do,
Yet my old nature, goes barging thru’.
Many things I say, I should not say,
Your mournful servant, sins ev’ry day.

Things that I should do, I do not do,
Ev’n tho’ I try, to keep my mind on You.
A grieving sinner, before You stands,
My heart and my life, are in Your Hands.

You do put up with a lot from me,
So awesome is Your grace and mercy.
Forgiveness I ask, from You each day,
You ne’er refuse, but forgive alway.

I’m a wretched sinner, deliver me,
I want out of sin’s captivity.
Present within me, is wickedness,
Lord help me instead, to have blessedness.

On my own, I can do nothing at all,
On my own, I’d have, such a great fall.
Just with You Lord, can I have victory,
A mansion in Heav’n, eternally.

Thank You Lord Jesus, for ev’ry thing,
Thank You for all Your wondrous blessings.
Thank You for Your wisdom, pow’r, and grace,
Thank You that one day, that I’ll see Your Face!

Your eyes see, to the bottom of my soul,
You see anger, when I’m out of control.
You see all my thoughts, be they good or bad,
You see when I’m happy, and when I’m sad.

Your eyes see, to the bottom of my heart,
Where all things I do or say, have their start.
Things in my mind, from You I cannot hide,
Your all-seeing eyes, are on ev’ry side.

Your eyes see, the complete and actual me,
As I walk the road, to eternity.
I can fool many people, ev’ry day,
But I can’t fool Your eyes, in any way.

I need to walk, ever so close to You,
On that strait and narrow road, so true.
Approval from Your precious eyes, I need,
For on Your gracious goodness, I truly feed.

Your all-seeing eyes, let me never fear,
For Your kind, loving voice, I need to hear.
I look to the day, when I will then see,
Your beloved eyes, for eternity.

Only because of Your Son, do I dare,
With boldness come, to Your Throne with pray’r.
By my faith and Your grace, I was justified,
When the precious Blood of Your Son, was applied.

Heav’nly Father, indescribable are You,
Always pure and righteous, in all that You do.
Your wisdom knows the end, ‘fore it begins,
You know our thoughts, be they good or sin.

Your wondrous love, we can’t comprehend,
You are to us, an amazing Friend.
Father, Your Son is righteous and true,
And everything He does, pleases You.

I’m so grateful, for Your loving Son,
With Him, salvation is as good as done!
Only Christ Jesus, can justify,
And only on Him, can we rely.

If you want to access, God’s holy Throne,
The precious Blood of Christ, must atone.
We must humbly kneel, at Jesus’ cross,
And consider all worldly treasure, as loss.

Thru’ the dark valley, Your Son shall lead,
If on the Bread of Life, we will feed.
Angels shall carry us, to Heav’n above,
Where for e’er we’ll live, in His sweet love.

Your Son, what a grand Gift You’ve giv’n,
And only He, has the one key to Heav’n.
Just He gives access, to our mansion above,
Reserv’d in Heav’n, with abundant love.

If my life is not pleasing to Thee,
Lord, reveal all my errors to me.
Your wishes and Your will, Yours alone,
Lord, please make Your will to me, made known.

Your will be done, I want nothing more,
For it’s You, Lord, I worship and adore.
Serving You daily, is my pleasure,
Blessings from You, are a great treasure.

Difficult, are some lessons in life,
Your strength is needed, when I face strife.
No matter what, don’t let me back away,
Let me be faithful, day after day.

If it’s not Your will, let me pass by,
I know worldly things, I must deny.
Your wishes and Your will, this I desire,
Let me, with Your love, others inspire.

Your wishes and Your will, let me seek,
And gracious Lord, help me to be meek.
Give me patience, as I walk with You,
Guiding on the narrow road with the “few.”

I look forward to my home above,
Where I will continue, to serve in love.
I care not, what others think of me,
I look to the day, when I’ll live with Thee.
