Our Amazing God
Calling You Father
Calling You Father, is a privilege indeed,
‘Tis amazing, that my prayers You heed.
I can’t comprehend Your infinite love,
That You bestow on me daily from above.
Calling You Father, makes me feel worthwhile,
For I belong to You, I am Your child.
I believe in Christ and His work on the cross,
With Him as my Saviour, I’ll ne’er be at loss.
I love You Father, from deep down inside,
I thank You for Your Spirit, who does abide.
With You as my Father, great blessings flow,
Father grant me each day, Your will to know.
Calling You Father, brings comfort to my soul,
For I trust You always, and give You control.
O heavenly Father, I know You are there,
You show great mercy and love, I know You care.
Most gracious Father, I feel Your Presence near,
Your Spirit assures me, I need never fear.
Calling You Father gives me great peace of mind,
You prove to me each day, You’re loving and kind.
When I call You Father, let me praise Your Name,
Let me ne’er bring to You displeasure or shame.
Let me always obey, and always love You,
Let me walk close to You and always be true.

God stretch’d out the north, o’er the empty place,
He hung the Earth on nothing, in space.
The glory of God, do the heavens declare,
The skies show His handiwork, with great flare.
Let us remember, His great works He has made,
From the highest mountain, to the marshy glade.
The sea is His work, and the dry land too,
He laid the Earth’s foundation, with wisdom true.
Springs run from the hills, to valleys below,
Giving drink to all the beasts, as fountains flow.
He waters the hills, from His chambers above,
The Earth is grateful, for His gracious love.
Our Creator God, ne’er grows weary,
Not like mere humans, like you and me.
His mighty hand, laid the foundation of Earth,
He lets us rule His Creation, of such great worth.
His many works, He made in wisdom and pow’r,
His enemies one day, shall shudder and cow’r.
He has made two places for souls to abide,
Heav’n or Hell; our choice, where we shall reside.

Job 26:7; Ps.19:1; Ps.111:4; Ps.104:24-35; Isa.1:24; Mt.25:41,46. Rev.21.
Discouragement comes after fruitless tries,
God knows your problem, and He hears your cries.
Into His bottle, He puts your many tears,
God knows your troubles, your worries and fears.
When you feel as if, life has passed you by,
God knows and cares, on Him you can rely.
No matter what you think, life is ne’er on hold,
God is in control, His answers will unfold.
When you do something, that you shouldn’t do,
God knows, for He is always watching you.
Cast out hatred, gossip, lies and blasphemy,
And disobedience and idolatry.
All evil must be far from you and me,
We must overcome, to have victory.
God knows when you’re tempted, He’ll see you thru,’
He’ll speed strength and wisdom, quickly to you.
God knows His children, sees deep in their heart,
Tho’ you may backslide, He’ll never depart.
With His true children, He will reside always,
Thru’ this life, and all eternity’s days.
If your name is written in the Book of Life,
Heav’n shall be yours, as the Lamb’s perfect wife.
God knows and loves you, and to His Home you’ll go,
And a “mansion” up there, He shall bestow!

Where were we, when God created the world?
Where were we, when the Earth was unfurled?
Of its measurements, which of us know?
Or how deep is its foundation, below?
Where were we, when He made the stars above?
Where were we, when the angels sang out in love?
Where were we, when He shut the doors of the sea?
Where were we, when He made its boundaries?
Can we command, the morning to arrive?
Will our wisdom or power, help us survive?
Can we enter into, the ocean’s springs?
Or walk its depth, to know where it begins?
Have the gates of death, been open’d to you?
Does the shadow of death, give you a clue?
Can you perceive the Earth, O so v’ry wide?
Ev’n tho’ on its surface, you do reside.
Just where does the light dwell, or the darkness?
Where is the place, can you dare confess?
Have you enter’d into the snow’s treasure?
Or the hail, that He sends at His pleasure?
Just how does God part the dark and the light?
Why does He send the wind, in day or night?
How does He decide the route of thunder?
Is it His wisdom? or is it blunder?
Does rain have a father? who begets the dew?
What about the ice? and the hoary frost too?
Where were we, when the laws of heaven were set?
With God in charge of all, we need never fret.

Scripture: Job 38
God reserves storehouses of the snow and hail for times of trouble. God used hail to help Joshua and the Israelites win a battle (Joshua 10:11). Just as armies keep weapons in the armory, God has all the forces of nature in his control. Sometimes He uses them to confound those opposed to Him or His people. Job, nor we could even begin to know all of God’s resources.
God has all the forces of nature at His command and that He can unleash or restrain them at will. No one completely rain or snow, and no one can command them. Only God who created them has that power. God’s point is, that if Job or we can not explain such common events in nature, how could h/we possibly explain or question God? And since nature is beyond our comprehension, God’s moral purposes may not be what we imagine either.
The Lord questions Job and us, to convince him/us of his/our ignorance, and shame him for his folly in directing God. If we thus try ourselves, we shall soon be brought to own that what we know is nothing in comparison with what we know not. By the tender mercy of our God, the Day-spring from on high has visited us, to give light to those that sit in darkness, whose hearts are turned to it as clay to the seal, 2 Corinthians 4:6. God’s way in the government of the world is said to be in the sea; this means, that it is hid from us. Let us make sure that the gates of heaven shall be opened to us on the other side of death, and then we need not fear the opening of the gates of death. It is presumptuous for us, who perceive not the breadth of the earth, to dive into the depth of God’s counsels. We should neither in the brightest noon count upon perpetual day, nor in the darkest midnight despair of the return of the morning; and this applies to our inward as well as to our outward condition. What folly it is to strive against God! How much is it our interest to seek peace with him, and to keep in his love!
God’s grace is more than I can comprehend,
This awesome Being, who calls me His friend.
‘Tis undeserved favor, sent from above,
‘Tis kindness and mercy and abundant love.
This amazing grace, to His children does flow,
‘Tis a great privilege the Lord God to know.
Because of our faith, He does justify,
On His amazing grace, we can rely.
God declares us righteous, when we believe,
And everlasting life, we do receive.
A home in Heaven, with our Lord awaits,
Our prepared mansion, is just thru’ the gates.
This wondrous grace, we don’t work for or deserve,
Comes from our Lord’s never ending reserve.
Not one person, is worthy of His grace,
But faith in Christ assures, we’ll see His Face.
Our Lord is merciful, loving and kind,
And those who believe, won’t be left behind.
To His amazing grace, all can access,
Just believe by faith, and our Lord will bless.

GOD’S WONDROUS CREATION
As the geese fly in their ‘V’ formation,
I think: “How wondrous is God’s Creation.”
God seems to give them a ‘built-in’ clock,
When the time is right; off flies the flock.
The bears seem to know when to hibernate,
They spend cold winters in a sleeping state.
God’s Creation truly is awesome indeed,
All His wild animals, to Him pay heed.
All vegetation knows when spring is nigh,
Trees bud; daffodils reach for the sky.
Tender green grass bursts from its dormant state,
Mankind these things, could never duplicate.
God grants us each day, the sun as a light,
And the moon, the lesser one, glows at night.
And a wonder too, this God of Creation,
Gave us a Way, for eternal salvation!

He knew one of the twelve, would betray,
And He also knew, the exact way.
As He sat at the Passover meal,
Judas’ betrayal, He did reveal.
He knew Simon Peter would deny,
Though Peter’s words were: “Lord, never I.”
Three times from Christ, Peter turned away,
‘Fore the cock crow’d, at the break of day.
He knew that His own, would forsake Him,
“Release Barabbas,” their shouts were grim,
He knew He’d hear them scream: “Crucify,”
As He started to the cross, to die.
He knew they’d mock Him, with a crown of thorns,
He knew a scarlet robe, He’d adorn.
He knew they’d spit on Him, and smite His Head,
Not one to comfort Him, His great dread.
He knew the Cyrene, His cross would bear,
As the crowd around, did gloat and stare.
He knew with Him, two thieves would die,
On Calvr’y’s hill; they’d be crucified.
He knew one of the thieves, would repent,
Christ’s words of comfort, made the thief content.
He knew all things, that would happ’n that day,
Yet e’er so willingly, He did stay.
He died on that cross, to set us free,
Giving to us, life eternally.
He gives us vic’try, when we go His way.
A loving Saviour, He did portray.

HE REACHED DOWN
He reached down in love, and lifted me,
Into a life of true victory.
Out of a life in the heathen world,
Gave eternal life as my reward.
He reached down, as at His cross I knelt,
Such awesome peace, is what I felt.
I could feel Him, come into my heart,
As He promis’d me, He would not depart!
He reached down to one, as sinful as me,
And life became one of serenity.
All the sins I had done, now were gone,
Forgiv’n, for now ‘twas a brand new dawn.
When He reached down, my whole life changed,
My attitudes and actions, He rearranged.
It seemed as though love, flooded my soul,
When I gave Him control, He gave me new goals.
I’m so glad that He, reached down in love,
For He made me a child, of God above.
He died for me, the supreme price He paid,
On that horrid cross, His own life He laid.
Today He is reaching down to you,
Will you accept His loyal love so true?
He wants you to live with Him one day,
In glorious Heaven, far away!

His Guiding Light
He’s always there, when you ask for aid,
In pain and sorrow, and when you’re afraid.
He can help make your dark days seem bright,
My friend, just walk in His Guiding Light.
His Guiding Light can shine on your darkest day,
As He lovingly shows you, the right way.
As a Shepherd, keeping watch on His sheep,
In His loving Arms, He will tenderly keep.
From high above, He watches His own,
With Him as your Friend, you’re never alone.
Our Lord is only a short prayer away,
And His Guiding Light, He’ll gladly display.
His Guiding Light, can vast comfort bring,
His peace, power and joy, are great blessings.
With His awesome Presence, ever so near,
There isn’t anything we should fear.
Pitfalls and traps, can’t be seen at night,
But all is so clear, in His Guiding Light.
But should you stumble, or even fall,
He’ll reach out His Hand to you, when you call.

I Can’t Comprehend
Our finite minds cannot comprehend,
How You have no beginning, or no end.
You are the Triune God of eternity,
We cannot understand, this mystery.
I can’t comprehend, how all things You know,
You watch the world, Your eyes go to and fro.
Before a thing begins, You know the end,
Yet on Your awesomeness, we can depend.
I can’t comprehend, Your Almighty pow’r,
‘Tis abundantly with You ev’ry hour.
Nothing is impossible for You,
Yet Your love stays, ever firm and true.
I can’t comprehend, Your wisdom so great,
That most in the world, underestimate.
Far beyond us, is finding out Your ways,
Yet You stoop to assist us, ev’ry day.
Your majestic Presence, I can’t comprehend,
And the fact that You call, true Christians “Friend.”
A mystery, that in me God abides,
And that “forever” there He’ll reside.
That this awesome God, e’vn considers me,
Is truly to me, a great mystery.
Our God’s character, I can’t comprehend,
But I’m eternally grateful, I’m His friend.

I Can’t Understand
Lord, there are times I can’t understand,
The grace that comes from Your loving Hand.
When I think of what a sinner am I,
It seems that my pleas You should deny.
Lord, when I think of my wicked heart,
I can’t understand why You don’t depart.
When I think of all the sins I’ve done,
I realize I’ve sinn’d, ‘gainst God’s own Son.
Lord Jesus, I’m not worthy of Your love,
That You shed on me daily, from above.
And You are always there, You never leave,
Ev’n tho’ my wicked ways, Your Heart does grieve.
Precious Lord, why do You put up with me?
For I am so fill’d, with iniquity.
It seems that You should turn, and run away,
Far away from my hateful, wicked ways.
At times Lord, I can’t understand at all,
Why You pick me up, each time that I fall.
I want to please You, I want to do good,
But it seems I never, do as I should.
I’m truly grateful for Your wondrous love,
And I thank You always for my home above.
I do not deserve You, not ev’n a bit,
But You prove o’er and o’er, Your love won’t quit.
I thank You for all, that You’ve done for me,
I thank You for Your grace, that is so free.
I thank You for forgiveness ev’ry day,
Ev’n when my actions are a bad display.

It Matters Not
As I walk with my Lord, Hand in hand,
I’ll follow Him and obey His command.
It matters not, just where He shall lead,
I’ll walk in faith, to Him I’ll heed.
Life’s narrow road, does get rough and steep,
If we walk in His Light, He will keep.
It matters not, the road blocks ahead,
As I walk in His Light, I’ll have no dread.
As I walk with my Lord, each new day,
I’ll walk in His footsteps, all the way.
It matters not to me, where we go,
My faith will lead me, as I follow.
At times I feel that I can’t go on,
But surging strength comes from God’s own Son.
It matters not, that I’m worn and weary,
Faith in Jesus, gives me victory.
As I walk with my Lord, I’m ne’er sad,
Great joy is within, that makes me glad.
It matters not, what others might say,
I’ll continue in faith, on Heav’n’s way.

JESUS IS MY . . .
As I live my life, Jesus is my Way,
I trust Him to guide me, each single day.
Jesus is my Guide, never leads me wrong,
Deep down I feel His advice, e’er so strong.
Jesus is my Truth, He won’t stand for lies,
We must resist, Satan’s temptation tries,
Jesus is my Wisdom, as I search His Word,
Such great peace and comfort, from my Lord.
Jesus is my Water, to my parch’d soul,
Spiritual thirst is gone, Christ is in control.
Jesus is my Bread, my soul He does feed,
He’s all the nourishment, my hungry soul needs.
Jesus is my Peace, deep down in my heart,
The contentment that He gives, won’t depart.
Jesus is my Gift, from the Father above,
Sent down from Heav’n, with amazing love.
Jesus is my Vine, to Him I’ll cling,
And to Him, all my praises I’ll sing.
Jesus is my Shepherd, Him I will follow,
Trusting Him always, in pain or sorrow,
Jesus is my Master, Him I will serve,
His fervent loyalty, I don’t deserve,
Jesus is my Lord, majestic and great,
For ever with Him, I’ll co-operate.
Jesus is my Redeemer, saves me from Hell,
Promises Heav’n, where for e’er I’ll dwell.
Jesus is my Saviour, for me He died,
Paid for my sins, when He was crucified.
Wonder of wonders, Christ Jesus is mine,
The Light of His glory, truly does shine.
I’m so grateful, my sins He does forgive,
And in Heav’n eternally, I will live!

My Fortress And my Shield
Our God is a Fortress, so mighty,
Always near by, to deliver me.
He is my strength, in whom I shall trust,
His guiding me, is truly a must.
Thou Lord, art my Fortress and my Rock,
I feel Your Presence, as Satan stalks.
You are my Refuge, with Arms open wide,
You deliver me, when I abide.
You are my Fortress, Goodness and Shield,
To Your wisdom and pow’r, I gladly yield.
In my affliction, You are my Fortress,
Just knowing You’re near, You do bless.
Thou, O Lord God, art for me a Shield,
Protecting me from fiery darts, Satan wields.
Such great comfort, deep within I feel,
Peace, joy and contentment, You reveal.
You give me the Shield of Thy salvation,
You remov’d from me, my degradation.
Should I slip, Your right hand catches me,
Therefore my glad heart rejoices, greatly.
You are my Shield and help, my soul shall wait,
And one day You shall open, Heav’n’s gate.
O God, my Shield, one day I’ll see Your Face,
And thank You again, for Your awesome grace.
My Shield and Hiding Place, I hope in Thy Word,
You are to me, as a great protective bird.
You are so good, to deliver me,
My Fortress and Shield, for eternity.

Precious Lord Jesus, You bring me no shame,
It gives me great honor, to praise Your Name.
No shame do I feel, but instead great pride,
That Your Holy Spirit, within me resides.
Lord, You keep my soul, and deliver me,
I’m not ashamed to put my trust in Thee.
Uphold me, according to thy Word,
I’m not ashamed of my hope, precious Lord.
When we look to You, there’s no shame on our face,
My heart is sound, and there is no disgrace.
If we believe on You, we’ll not be asham’d,
For in Your Book of Life, You write our name.
I live in earnest hope and expectation,
For You promis’d eternal salvation.
I know You are able to keep my soul,
I trust You Lord Jesus, God gave You control.
If we are to suffer, let us not have shame,
But let us glorify God, in Your Name.
Let us not be asham’d when You appear,
If we trust and obey, we need not fear.
Of our blessed hope, we should have no shame,
Eternal life waits, when we trust Your Name.
The love of God is shed abroad in our heart,
You will not disappoint us, nor depart.
We must not be asham’d of Christ and His Words,
This is clearly taught, by our precious Lord.
If we’re asham’d of Christ, He’ll reject us one day,
And we’ll never see Heav’n’s glorious array.

O Lord, have mercy upon me,
Wash me from my sins and iniquities.
Blot out all my transgressions this day,
As Your lovingkindness, You display.
I acknowledge all my terrible sin,
With unconfessed sin, I cannot win.
I have sinned against Thee, Thee alone,
My transgression, You will not condone.
All my sins are evil, in Thy sight,
My iniquities are dark as night.
From all my wickedness, hide Thy Face,
And all my sinfulness, please erase.
O Lord, create a new heart within me,
Renew my spirit, from sin, set me free.
From Thy Presence, cast me not away,
The joy of salvation, restore today.
O Lord, let me always show my praise,
As gratitude to You, I humbly raise.
A broken spirit and a contrite heart,
From these things, You will never depart.

There is one thing that I truly desire,
When from this life, that I do retire.
That I may in the house of the Lord be,
And see His beauty, for eternity.
There is one thing, that happens to all,
Be it man or beast, death shall befall.
As we live on Earth, we must look ahead,
We face Heav’n’s bliss, or Hell’s awful dread.
Millions will lack one specific thing,
Failure to make Christ, Master and King!
Many will be grieved, as they go their way,
For they choose worldly riches, each day.
There is one thing that all people need,
To sit at Christ’s Feet, and His teachings heed.
We must not ever, too busy be,
To draw close to the King, of eternity.
One special thing, all believers know,
Christ Jesus is our Friend, not our foe.
Once we were so blind, but now we see,
Once Satan bound us, now we are free.
One certain thing, to which we must mind,
Forget all the sins, that are behind.
There is not one thing, that we can change,
Run the race before us, that God arranges.
There is one absolute fact, my friend,
God is in charge, from now to the end.
His time clock and ours, is not the same,
Just always be ready, and praise His Name.

Such tremendous Promises, God does make,
Great Promises, we can reach out and take.

Grab them my friend, bring them to life today!
I will ne’er leave, I will ne’er forsake thee,
What great comfort, this Promise brings to me.
I have been thru’, so much trouble and pain,
But knowing Jesus is there, is great gain!

Such great Promises, He gives you and me,

The pow’r of Jesus, keeps me from all wrong.

Right roads and right decisions, You provide.

I love to hear, this wonderful story!
Christ gives Light, to them that sit in darkness,
And just He, to Heav’n, can give you access.
He guides our feet, into the way of peace,
And from stress and worry, He gives release!
Nothing can separate us, from God’s love,
And one day we’ll live with Him, high above.
A mansion in Heav’n, that won’t fade away,
Reserved for us, and there we’ll live one day.
A pure golden street, is where we shall walk,
And with our precious Saviour, we shall talk.
In this City of pure gold, we shall reside,

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD
The Lord is my Shepherd, I’m one of His sheep,
He watches ov’r me, and does tenderly keep.
The Lord is my Shepherd, He supplies my needs,
To green pastures and still waters, He leads.
The Lord is my Shepherd, He sees something in me,
That all those around me, just fail to see.
The Lord is my Shepherd, He leads on right paths,
Restoring my soul, keeping me from God’s wrath.
The Lord is my Shepherd, no evil shall I fear,
Thru’ the shadow of death, He is always near.
The Lord is my Shepherd, great comfort He brings,
My enemies can’t comprehend, His blessings.
The Lord is my Shepherd, He’ll always be there,
Lovingkindness He reveals, because He cares.
The Lord is my Shepherd, I do not have dread,
Because of the Words, my Shepherd has said.
The Lord is my Shepherd, He truly loves me,
What follows me, is goodness and mercy.
The Lord is my Shepherd, in His House I shall dwell,
And for eternity, my fears He shall quell.

What can you expect Christ to do for thee?
This amazing God of eternity.
If you’re God’s child, He’ll come thru’ for you,
With so many blessings, each day anew.
Every need you have, He will supply,
And your ardent pray’rs, won’t be denied.

He will give you His Spirit, to abide,
Great contentment you will feel, deep inside.
A peace like none other, you’ve ever known,
Is placed in your soul, as His love is shown.
A storehouse of love, He will give to you,
When you become, one of the faithful few.
This deep well of love, will never run dry,
The more you give away, the more He’ll supply.
Wondrous joy is felt, no matter your strife,
For deep down you know, you have eternal life.
Too, deep down you know, He’ll not leave, not forsake,
You’ll feel His Presence, ev’n in your mistakes.
He’ll fully forgive you, when you repent,
To the bottom of the sea, your sins are sent.
This grand peace, not one other can supply,
On this amazing God, you can rely.

Or none of God’s blessings, will you receive.

Verses Only For Believers
Some verses belong, just to those who believe,
Like I will never forsake, nor ever leave.
He speaks these comforting words, just to His own,
Leading and guiding us, as right roads are shown.
All things work together for good, says His Word,
But you must read on: “To those who love the Lord.”
This great Promise to His children, God makes,
He’ll never abandon us, nor ever forsake.
Jesus tells us “I go to prepare a place,”
And one day true believers, will see His Face.
He’ll come and call us, to our “mansion” on high,
For all true believers, on Christ can rely.
“Come unto Me, and I will give you rest,”
For He gives all God’s children, only His best.
But unbelievers want no part of Him,
So their eternal future is very grim.
With God we have peace, we’re justified by faith,
We have serenity within, with ev’ry breath.
We are no longer our great God’s enemy,
We’re reconciled to Him for eternity.
We have a God of hope, who fills us with joy,
Hope that abounds, and will not be destroyed.
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven,
And love that abounds more and more, to us is giv’n.
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you ,
Through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus too.
What love the Father hath bestowed upon us,
That He calls us His children, e’er so precious.

Vestments of Shame
Glorious, royal robes, did not one heart subdue,
It was vestments of shame, put on for me and you.
It wasn’t goats or bulls, on the altar bled,
It was Jesus’ Blood, on the cross that He shed.
It was our Lord’s meekness and humility,
That gained for us all, life eternally.
The life of a Servant, Christ took upon Him,
Allowing our hope, to never grow dim.
It wasn’t earthly riches, that paid the price,
Christ’s precious life’s Blood, was the supreme Sacrifice.
Christ’s holy righteousness, to us is applied,
When we trust and believe, we are justified.
Christ never on this Earth, did store up treasures,
In Christ’s mind instead, was our eternal pleasure.
Jesus owned not a place, to lay His dear Head,
But His being poor, never caused Him any dread.
His vestments of shame, and great humility,
Paid the price we couldn’t pay; life eternally.
Glorious regal robes, never paid the price,
‘Twas Christ’s death on the cross, His willing Sacrifice.

WHAT WE HAVE IN CHRIST
A love that no one can understand,
We hold close in our heart, soul and hand.
A life in which we can never die,
When on our Saviour we do rely.
A righteousness that can’t be unclear,
Coming from Christ, and won’t disappear.
A peace that will never go away,
Given to us freely ev’ry day.
A rest that can never be discontent,
Blessings from Christ are never deficient.
A joy that will never discontinue,
For Christ’s joy remains in me and you.
A hope that can never be displac’d,
As we look to the day we see His Face.
A light within that will never dim,
It shines brightly as it comes from Him.
A happiness that can never be sad,
Contentment just from Christ can be had.
A strength that can never be frail,
The pow’r of Jesus will never fail.
A purity that can ne’er be defil’d,
Because Christ made us the Father’s child.
A wisdom that no one can confuse,
That thru’ this life on Earth, we can use.
We’re headed for Heav’n, where life ne’er ends,
We’ll live with our Saviour, Lord and Friend.
He will take care of us for e’er more,
For Christ has open’d for us Heav’n’s door.

Let us humbly bow, as your Throne we near.

Without Jesus, you ain’t got a chance,
For in the Lake of Fire, you shall prance!
Without Christ, you CANNOT avoid Hell,
It’s for certain, there you shall dwell!
You ain’t got a chance, without the Lord,
It’s so plainly stated, in His Word.
Christ is the only One, with a key,
To Heaven, and life eternally!
You ain’t got a chance, no how, no way,
To reach Heaven’s gate, on any day!
You must have Christ Jesus, in your heart,
No other way, will Satan depart!
You ain’t got a chance, to reach Heaven’s shore,
Unless Jesus, you truly adore!
There is no other name, God has given,
That anyone could call on, to reach Heaven!
We ain’t got a chance, not you, not me,
We must have Christ, to live eternally!
Just Jesus can get us, to Heaven above,
Just Jesus can save us, with His love.

You Are My Rest, Lord
You are my Rest, Lord, each and ev’ry day,
No matter what ever, may come my way.
The devil is strong, ‘tis no mystery,
Your Presence must always, be close to me.
When I’m tempted to doubt, You are my Rest,
You re-assure me, with every test.
Doubt is so sneaky, it tends to creep in,,
But Your Holy Spirit, gives peace within.
You are my Rest, Lord, every place I go,
It gladdens my heart, as You I follow.
I’ll stay close, for You shed Light on my path,
Which always keeps me, from the Father’s wrath.
Temptation is always, around the next bend,
I can use any help Lord, that You send.
I can’t on my own, the devil resist,
You are my Rest, Lord, You have to assist.
You are my Rest, Lord, so grateful am I,
On Your pow’r and wisdom, I can rely.
No matter what, the devil throws my way,
I know I can count on You, every day.
You are my Rest, Lord, I appreciate You,
Your Presence is a comfort, ever so true.

You came in to my life, one special day,
Tho’ for years, I had turned You away!
You knew all the trouble my soul did bear,
You came in, showing awesome love and care!
You came in thru’ my heart’s door, gallantly,
After waiting all those years, patiently!
You brought gladness into an empty space,
When You came in; my heart was a diff’rent place!
You came in my life; didn’t hesitate,
Bringing wondrous joy, and comfort so great!
Your lovingkindness, chased worry away,
When You came in, You changed me, for always!
You came in and took my burden of sin,
You taught me a right, new life to begin!
You gave me Your Spirit, that he would aid,

YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CAN’T HIDE
Some people try to hide from our God,
Mostly the worldly wise, as they trod.
Do they think God knows NOT what they do?
God will all evil, completely beshrew.
You CANNOT hide from our great Creator,
Ev’n in darkness, when you lock the door.
God knows ALL that you think, or will do,
My friend, He knows ev’ry thing, ‘bout you!
You can run, but you CAN’T hide from God,
No place on Earth to hide, all abroad.
Perhaps when they run, they think they’re hid,
But they just make matters worse, instead.
God sees and knows ALL, you CANNOT hide,
Day or dark night, what e’er does betide.
You CAN’T run from His omni-present eyes,
Satan may tell you so; but he lies!
Do you try to run from Mighty God?
Your efforts won’t succeed, as you trod.
You can run; but you CAN’T get away,
Running; an evil heart, does portray.
If only you would run TO God, instead,
You wouldn’t have near the strife or dread.
God loves you; and wants you as His own,
RUN TO HIM; and His grace will be shown!

YOU CAN’T SIN AND WIN
If we persist, and continue in sin,
A “mansion” in Heav’n, we will never win!
When we ask Christ to come into our heart,
From all sin and evil, we must depart!
You can’t sin and win! God clearly states,
For you will never see the Pearly Gates!
A true hypocrite, is what you are,
God will cast you from Him, very far!
If in your sin, you demand to remain,
Peace and rest of Heav’n, you shall not gain!
You cannot win, if you don’t turn away,
From all sin’s wickedness, this v’ry day!
It’s not enough, to believe there’s a God,
You must obey, as this life you trod.
Faith and obedience, together are bound,
Where there is one, the other is found!
You can’t sin and win, in Jesus’ eyes,
Sin is something, God does despise!
To abide in sin, God you displease,
Turn from your sin, and God’s wrath you appease!
You cannot win, God wants you to know,
Willful sin leads you, to Hell below!
You must forsake sin, to be God’s friend,
Or to the heights of Heav’n, you’ll not ascend!

YOU DID NOT SAY
You did not say, it would be easy,
As I struggle onward to follow Thee!
Tho’ the road ahead seem dark and steep,
You did promise, my soul to keep!
You did not say, all things would go well,
As in this world of sin I dwell.
But You did promise, You will abide,
When troubles come near, You’re by my side!
You did not say, my load would be light,
As I strive for vict’ry, in my plight.
But You did promise, my yoke to bear,
My heavy burdens You always share!
You did not say, as You I follow,
That there would not be any sorrow!
But You did promise to comfort me,
As I take my stand, along side Thee!
You did not say, lov’d ones would stand by,
That on them, I could trust and rely.
But You did promise, You’d never leave,
You’ve never forsaken, when I grieve!
Your awesome Presence is always there,
Showing You love me, showing You care!
Tho’ my lov’d ones turn their backs on me,
You’re there, with peace and serenity!

YOU DO HAVE A CHOICE
There are not many sermons preached on Hell,
Preachers are reluctant, this subject to tell.
Most speak only on what people want to hear,
Only the nice things, to ease those itching ears.
But friend, I’m here to tell you,” Hell does exist,”
You are sure to go there, if Christ you resist!
If you do not believe, nor accept God’s Son,
You shall reach Hell; and your agony begun.
Hell is a choice; one that you make on your own,
Only you can decide, when the ‘WAY’ is shown!
There are just two destinations: Heaven, Hell,
You make the choice my friend; which place will you dwell?
Are you headed this day for the judgment of Hell?
‘Twill be total darkness; the pain, I can’t tell!
Agony and suffering; complete distress,
All this can be avoided, if Christ you confess!

YOU EXPEDITE . . . . Aug.2006 & Feb.2008 Messages
When I feel low, and day’s dark as night,
Your love and comfort, you expedite.
Always there, in the blink of an eye,
When I’m in need, you never deny.
You expedite your wisdom and pow’r,
And it arrives at just the right hour.
Your infinite love and compassion,
There for your children; you never shun.
When the world looks down on me in hate,
I recall that you too, had this fate.
When I try always to do what’s right,
Your wise, loving words, you expedite.
When Satan steps in with trials great,
You’re there; my heart and soul to elate.
Persecution will come, ev’ry day,
But your love you expedite and portray.
Your love and kindness, grace and mercy,
You expedite to the likes of me.
Without you Lord, I could not get by,
But you’re always there, and won’t deny!

YOU MUST . . . .
You must BELIEVE all that God does say,
That only Christ will lead you God’s way.
Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life,
Without Him, Satan’s harvest is rife.
You must TRUST Jesus to save your soul,
Without Christ, Satan has full control.
Christ is the only One with the key,
To life in Heav’n, for eternity.
You must KNOW Christ as Saviour and Lord,
And live according to His true Word.
Knowing Him as your personal Friend,
A relationship that will never end.
You must ACCEPT God’s wonderful Gift,
Without Christ, your life will be adrift.
Accept this Gift thru’ faith, by God’s grace,
Without Christ, you’ll never see God’s Face.
You must LOVE our God with all your heart,
And from sin and evil, you must depart.
We must always love each other too,
Forgiving and caring, with love so true.
You must CONFESS Christ to those around,
The wonderful Gospel, is so profound.
Tell others of all He’s done for you,
He forgave all your sins, made you all new!
You must BE FAITHFUL to Christ our Lord,
Serving with love, and your sin discard.
Looking for the day you shall see His Face,
Be loyal, and faithful, and no disgrace.

YOU MUST BELIEVE
You must believe, or God will reject,
All you do, and He will not protect.
We must believe on our Saviour’s Name,
To be God’s sons, and receive His gain.
God laid in Zion, a Chief Cornerstone,
Elect and precious; to most, not known.
On His Name, they simply won’t believe,
Just thru’ Christ, God’s blessing you’ll receive.
You must believe on Christ Jesus’ name,
Or a day will come, for fear and shame.
You shall recall, in deep agony,
Each time you heard of His love and mercy.
There will come a day, when you’ll regret,
When the prison of Hell, does beset.
You’ll wish you did listen, ‘bout the Lord,
To the one who brought, that precious Word.
Each time you reject, your heart hardens more,
Instead, you should open, your heart’s door.
Each time you reject, God’s wrath does increase,
He’ll give to you Hell; and never peace!
I’m sure you’ve heard of Heaven above,
And about our Saviour, and His love.
He’s the ONLY WAY, the ONLY KEY,
To spend life in Heav’n, eternally!

You Search Me And Know Me
Lord, You search me, and know me completely,
When I sit, and when I rise, You do see.
From afar off, my thoughts You understand,
Whether I’m home, or in a distant land.
You chart my path, and You know all my ways,
You see me lie down, after a hard day.
The words on my tongue, You know ev’ry one,
You know what I’ll say, ev’n ‘fore I’ve begun.
You protect me Lord, in front and behind,
You lay Your Hand on me, ev’r so kind.
To know this, is so wonderful for me,
And Your lovingkindness, is always free.
From Your awesome Presence, I cannot flee,
You are always there, taking care of me.
No matter where I go, You are always there,
What an awesome privilege, my Father cares.
Darkness can’t hide me; not the blackest night,
Ev’n the darkest night is as broad daylight.
Darkness and light are both alike to Thee,
I’m truly grateful, that You watch ov’r me.
How precious are Thy thoughts, the sum so great,
And all of them Lord, I appreciate.
I’m still with You, ev’ry time I awake,
O Lord, I’m so grateful, for my soul’s sake.
Search me, O God, and know all in my heart.
Try me, and know my thoughts, please don’t depart.
See if there be any wicked way in me,
Lead me O Lord, to life eternally.

YOU WERE THERE
When into the ark Noah did go,
You were there, with blessings to bestow.
You shut the door when the waters came,
For Noah in your eyes, had no blame.
You were there with Elijah, back then,
Showing your approval, O’ so plain.
Elijah trusted your mighty power,
You answered his call at right hour.
Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego,
Were thrown into the furnace long ago.
They would not bow, to the idol so great,
You were there, the king’s plan to frustrate.
Daniel disobeyed the king’s edict,
“To the lion’s den” was the verdict.
You were there, the lion’s mouths to close,
To all those of faith, your blessing flows.
If you were there for all these, and more,
You’ll be there for us, and blessings pour.
We must trust and believe; keep our faith,
And you’ll be there, until our last breath.

YOU WILL HAVE MEMORIES
If you choose the broad road that leads to Hell,
That place of judgment, where all evil dwells,
You will have memories; for ever more,
God’s Word does tell what is held in store!
ALL who reject Christ, will end up in Hell,
A terrible place, where for e’er you’ll dwell.
Rejection of Jesus, they’ll see in remorse,
If they had yet a chance; they’d change their course!
The great anger, pain, misery, and thirst,
All the suffering; their minds near do burst.
They’ve a clear memory of when on Earth,
Great regrets of rejecting Christ and His worth!

Your Abiding Presence
Your abiding Presence, stirs my soul,
Dear Lord, I submit, to Your control.
Be still , and know that I am God, You say,
What a wondrous way, to start each day.
Your abiding Presence, is always there,
What great love You show, because You care.
You ne’er, e’er forsake, You ne’er, e’er leave,
What a vast Promise, when we believe.
Your abiding Presence, within me,
Makes me live each day, so joyfully.
The burden of sin, You took away,
Vic’try was mine, when You came my way.
Your abiding Presence, to me came,
When I called on, Jesus’ precious Name.
Simple faith in Christ, did justify,
Heaven is now mine, I do qualify.
Your abiding Presence, to me is giv’n,
Assuring me, of a Home in Heav’n.
What a grand hope, You give to me,,
A Promise of life, eternally.
Your abiding Presence, with me will go,
Thru’ death’s dark valley, of shadow.
When I cross Jordan, You’ll be with me,
To lead me to the Land, of Glory.
For Your abiding Presence, thank You,
For You chose me to be, one of the few.
Knowing You are there, stirs my soul,
For I truly know, to Hell I won’t go.

The soul of man for e’er does live,
Your v’ry soul, our great God did give.
It will live for e’er, in Heav’n OR Hell,
It’s up to you, where you will dwell.
You have a choice while on this Earth,
How much do you think is Christ’s worth?
Jesus is God’s beloved Son,
He paid it ALL; His work’s all done!
Have you thought ‘bout eternity?
Do you want bliss? or agony?
The choice is yours; it’s up to you,
Just what with Jesus will you do?
You have a choice, if breath’s in you,
Will you accept our Saviour so true?
Trust and accept; in Heav’n you’ll dwell,
But if you reject; you’ll go to Hell!

YOUR ETERNAL DESTINATION
Did you e’er look in the casket of a friend?
Then ask the question, “When will my life end?”
That one’s not really dead; their soul is alive,
One day this one, and you too, God will revive.
The day will come, God shall call; you too must go,
Your eternal destination; you ought to know!
You may live a good moral life; treat folks well,
But there’s a chance, you could end up in Hell!
Salvation can’t be bought, by good works you do,
Just by faith in Christ, who died for me and you.
Christ died on that Cross, to pay the price of sin,
You’ll not die that second death, when you trust Him!
The day is coming, when friends stand at your grave,
Do they know; and you too; only Christ can save?
Do they know that you are on your way to Heav’n?
Salvation can’t be bought, it’s a gift that’s giv’n!
Life on Earth is like a mist; days are short and few,
Your eternal destination; is it clear to you?
Have you trusted Christ? He’s the Truth, Life and Way,
Or would you go to Hell? if you’d die today?

Your eyes see, to the bottom of my soul,
You see anger, when I’m out of control.
You see all my thoughts, be they good or bad,
You see when I’m happy, and when I’m sad.
Your eyes see, to the bottom of my heart,
Where all things I do or say, have their start.
Things in my mind, from You I cannot hide,
Your all-seeing eyes, are on ev’ry side.
Your eyes see, the complete and actual me,
As I walk the road, to eternity.
I can fool many people, ev’ry day,
But I can’t fool Your eyes, in any way.
I need to walk, ever so close to You,
On that strait and narrow road, so true.
Approval from Your precious eyes, I need,
For on Your gracious goodness, I truly feed.

I look to the day, when I will then see,

YOUR HOLY BOOK
Your Holy Book always rightly guides,
Wisdom comes from the Truth you provide.
Bless me Lord, as I read Your Word today,
Let me understand, Your will and Your way!
Your Holy Book is Words of purity,
Your will is for us, to live righteously.
You want for us, only what is best,
When we obey You, we are truly blest!
True wisdom can come, only from You,
So sad it’s chosen, by just a “few.”
You can teach us, if we want to know,
But we must willingly, to Your Word, go!
We can achieve life eternally,
You give us this “Gift,” and it is free.
You tell us so plainly in Your Holy Book,
But so very few, venture to look!
You clearly tell us, there’s just one Way,
But most won’t read, what You have to say.
We must believe in Your precious Son,
When we do, eternal life has begun!
Thank You Father, for Your Holy Word,
Thank You for Jesus, Saviour and Lord.
Thank You for loving and caring for me,
Thank You for life, eternally!

Living in Your Light, I must learn to do,
For it reflects wrongs stated by You.
Your perfect Light surely makes me see,
You truly are the God of Eternity.
I’d stumble and fall, without Your Light,
For my path would be as dark as night.
Your Light makes me see any sins so deep,
Your Light shows the way and does safely keep.
All dangers and snares I can clearly see,
Your bright Light keeps them from trapping me.
An amazing blessing, is Your Light,
Gives me victory, as Satan I fight.
Impossible, life would simply be,
Without Your Light shining round ‘bout me,
I must keep striving to walk with You,
For I need Your Light, to see me thru’.
Your Light always makes life’s path clearly shown,
I cannot in the dark, go it alone.
I praise You for Your awesome Light,
Lord Jesus, You take away all my night.
O thank You Lord, for watching o’er me,
Here in this life and thru’ eternity.
Thank You for Your Light, always so near,
You give me peace, and chase away all fear.

YOUR LOVE FOR CHRIST
Your love for Christ will intensify,
As on His presence you do rely.
You now realize you do need Him,
Before, thoughts of Christ were vague and dim.
Your love for Jesus will grow each day,
As His light brightens your darkest way.
You do need Him, you finally admit,
And to Christ, your all you do commit!
Your love for Jesus will never leave,
Once you trust Him and on Him believe!
You really need Him, this you now know,
All He does for you, just makes you glow!
Your love for Christ gives great peace and joy,
All of His blessings you do enjoy.
You need Him now, and in days to come,
Just He gives access to your Heav’nly Home!

Will your mansion in Heav’n, be bigger than mine?
Will it be furnish’d, with luxuries so fine?
Will it shine so bright, by the street of pure gold?
As the glory of Jesus, you behold?
If my dwelling place were small, I’d care not,
I’m so grateful for this place, Jesus has bought!
A tiny cottage, on a side street would be great,
For all Christ Jesus has done, I appreciate!
What an awesome Saviour we have, He paid our price,
Went to the cross for us, was our Sacrifice!
He redeemed us, with His wondrous, precious Blood,
Privileged we are, for that sacrificial Flood!
Don’t worry ‘bout how big, your mansion will be,
Christ will rightly provide, for you and for me!
On that old rugged cross, Jesus took our place,
So that one, sweet day, we’ll see, His Holy Face!
Our mansion in Heav’n, Jesus controls the size,
Who are we, that we should ever criticize!
A small cabin, in a place out of the way,
Would be all right with me, on that special day!
I’m not worthy, nor want, fancy luxuries,
I want just to serve Him, for eternity!
The dwelling place for me, that Christ shall provide,
I’ll gladly accept, and for e’er, there reside!

The power of Your love was clearly shown,
When You sent Your Son, my sins to atone.
Vast power of Your love shines thru’ to me,
Guiding thru’ this life, and eternity!
The power of Your mercy is so clear,
‘Tis a privilege to always have You near!
Whenever I repent, You forgive me,

So sufficient is Your amazing grace,
‘Twill carry me till I meet You Face to face!

This awesome peace within me does abide!
No one, no where, can ever take it away,
Once You give it Lord, it is there to stay!

Your Hand lifts me high each time that I fall!
Your great power may to many seem strange,
But, Lord I’m so grateful that You cannot change.

If you want to be more like the Saviour,
The depths of your very soul, He may stir.
He may send a trial, crushing your heart,
Causing you to think, He did depart.
If you ask for a spirit, lowly and meek,
The work He gives you, may leave you weak.
He may give a job, that overwhelms you,
And any pride you have left, He will shoo!
If you ask to lean firmly on His Arm,
You must forsake this world’s pleasant charms.
To both God and the world, you cannot cling,
Choose: sly old Satan, or Almighty King!
If you go to Him, and for patience ask,
You will not in the warmth of comfort bask!
Trails and tribulations may come your way,
And your true character, will be on display!
If you want to imitate and follow Him,
Satan will try to make your pathway dim.
But the Light of Christ Jesus will shine thru’,
And in any danger, He’s there with you!
Pray my friend, to be more like our Lord,
Study intently each day, in His Word!
If we believe on Him, we’ll suffer for His sake,
But O what a big difference that will make!

YOUR PRECIOUS WORDS
Your precious Words do flood my mind,
Without them, joy and peace, I’d not find.
Your precious Words, so freely giv’n.
Woo all your children home to Heav’n.
Your precious Words give life to me,
Life with you, for eternity!
Without your Words, I’d go to Hell,
And forever more, there to dwell.
Your precious Words do calm my soul,
For I do know, you’re in control.
I know Satan is strong this day,
But it won’t always be that way.
Your precious Words do touch my heart,
I pray from them I’ll ne’er depart.
Without your Words to show me light,
I could not do anything right!
Your precious Words do light my road,
For I’d fall, ‘neath my heavy load.
Life’s pathway is rugged and steep,
But your precious Words, me, do keep!

Oh! the joy Your Presence gives to me,
My heart and soul rejoice endlessly!
Such wondrous peace reigns when You are here,
A calm delight as You chase away fear.
Lord, let Your Presence be ever near by,
Let me always Your Name glorify!
Your Promise never to leave, I claim,
And of You, dear Lord, I have no shame!
Never alone Lord, never alone,
Your Presence assures right paths are shown!
You are always there, helping to guide,
For Your Spirit within, does abide!
Such a pleasure; Your Presence to know,
Steady streams of peace and joy do flow!
My love filled heart, comes only from You,
‘Tis contentment to know, You are true!
Your Presence Lord, is Heaven to me,
Where your Shadow falls, sorrow cannot be!
Come what may in life, be it weal or woe,
What an awesome privilege it is, You to know!
Your wondrous Presence is my consolation,
And it keeps me from degradation!
One day I’ll live on Heav’n’s blissful shore,
Where Your Presence will be for ever more!

The pain that I have, deep down inside,
With Your loving Presence, will subside.
Even when I go thru’ great distress,
Your loving Presence, always does bless.
Even when great sorrow floods my soul,
Your abiding Presence, takes control.
‘Tis amazing, how sorrow will flee,
As Your loving Presence, comforts me.
When great mourning, for my sin takes place,
I’m bless’d with the Presence of Your grace.
You forgive my sins, when I confess,
You cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
Your Presence is a blessing untold,
For Your love and mercy does unfold.
No better blessing could there e’er be,
Than Your Presence, for eternity!
Your Presence is with me, day by day,
You promis’d You would ne’er go away.
Your Presence is with me, hour by hour,
Filling me with Your love and peace and pow’r.

One sweet day, I’ll look into Your eyes,
As I walk with You, far above the skies.
‘Twill be then I’ll hold, Your comforting Hand,
As I walk with You, in that glorious land.
Your Presence will be, quite a treasure to me,
As I stroll with You, in eternity.
We’ll pass the river, proceeding from God’s throne,
A blessing, for my sins, You did atone!
Now I must consider, my walk on Earth with You,
Walking on that narrow road, so right and true.
I must please You, I must willingly obey,
And stay close to You, in that narrow way.
I must consider, love is Your command,
As I gladly serve You, in this wicked land.
Your friend dear Lord, is what I want to be,
Now and in Your home, in eternity.
Your awesome Presence, I look forward to,
Always available, and in plain view.
More desirable, than the street of gold,
Thoughts of You dear Lord, I treasure and hold.
I often think, of what will be one day,
Dear Lord help me, on that narrow road to stay.
I want only Lord, to do right by You,
And I am so grateful, I’m one of the “few”.

Thru’ peaceful calm, or violent storm,

Lord in Your shadow, allow me to walk,

Let Your shadow fall on me each day,
In return, let me, Your love display.

Thank You Lord, for Your shadow so near,
Thank You Lord, for removing my fear.

Only because of Your Son, do I dare,
With boldness come, to Your Throne with pray’r.
By my faith and Your grace, I was justified,
When the precious Blood of Your Son, was applied.
Heav’nly Father, indescribable are You,
Always pure and righteous, in all that You do.
Your wisdom knows the end, ‘fore it begins,
You know our thoughts, be they good or sin.
Your wondrous love, we can’t comprehend,
You are to us, an amazing Friend.
Father, Your Son is righteous and true,
And everything He does, pleases You.
I’m so grateful, for Your loving Son,
With Him, salvation is as good as done!
Only Christ Jesus, can justify,
And only on Him, can we rely.
If you want to access, God’s holy Throne,
The precious Blood of Christ, must atone.
We must humbly kneel, at Jesus’ cross,
And consider all worldly treasure, as loss.
Thru’ the dark valley, Your Son shall lead,
If on the Bread of Life, we will feed.
Angels shall carry us, to Heav’n above,
Where for e’er we’ll live, in His sweet love.
Your Son, what a grand Gift You’ve giv’n,
And only He, has the one key to Heav’n.
Just He gives access, to our mansion above,
Reserv’d in Heav’n, with abundant love.

Treasures of wickedness profit nought,
But by many today, they are sought.
Earthly things won’t profit; they are vain,
In eternity’s realm, there’s no gain.
There’s no reward to the evil man,
Unrighteousness is against God’s plan.
Idols of ANY kind are vanity,
They simply make you God’s enemy.
Workers of iniquity will fall,
Cast down, not able to rise at all.
Calamity shall come suddenly,
He shall be broken without remedy.
What shall you gain if you lose your soul?
Of your soul; ONLY Christ has control.
NOTHING can you for your soul exchange,
Only one way! your heart you must change!
You must BELIEVE God, ACCEPT His Son,
IF you do, eternal life’s begun.
Accept the greatest Gift known to man,
Salvation thru’ Christ; God’s ONLY Plan!

YOUR THRONE OF GRACE
Your Throne of Grace, I’d dare not approach,
For my sins are to You, a horrid reproach.
But my loving Saviour, made a way,
For me to come to You, night or day.
I now can approach, Your wondrous Throne,
For Christ Jesus, my sins did atone.
I now can come to You, with no fear,
And I know my pray’r, You’ll surely hear.
Your Throne, Father, what an awesome Place,
Where You bless us, with Your amazing grace.
You always have time to hear my plea,
No matter my plight, You always hear me.
Your Throne of Grace, gives me joy down deep,
Your mercy and love, I covet and keep.
The peace I have, deep inside my soul,
Comes from knowing, You are in control.
Humbly I come to Your Throne of Grace,
My sinfulness, makes me hide my face.
Dear Lord, so holy and pure are You,
I’m so unworthy, of Your love so true.
Great love on Your children, You bestow,
As we walk here, on this Earth below.
A blessing, and a privilege indeed,
From Your Throne of Grace, grand things proceed.
For Your grand love, I’ll praise You each day,
And thank You, that You won’t turn away.
I’m truly grateful, for Your Throne of Grace,
Indeed it is, a most awesome Place!

YOUR WALK WITH CHRIST
In your walk with Christ, stay close to Him,
‘Tis amazing, how your troubles will dim.
Ever present, He’s always near,
Gently He whispers “You need not fear.”
In your walk with Him, you may stumble,
Stay close to Jesus, be meek and humble.
Each time you stumble, His Hand extends,
May I tell you, there’s no better Friend!
As thru’ this wicked world you journey,
Satan tries hard to bring you mis’ry.
He’ll make bad things look good, he’ll deceive,
Don’t let your mind, his evil receive.
The road of life may get rough and steep,
Remember, Christ will safely keep.
Walk close to Him, with no room between,
Don’t let the devil degrade or demean.
Walking with Christ, you will make mistakes,
But He will ne’er abandon, or forsake.
All believers are tremendously bless’d,
With Promises of joy, peace and rest.
When to our Saviour and Lord, we stay true,
Heav’n’s glory awaits these faithful few.
Walking with Christ gives us victory,
We’ll then walk the street of gold, eternally.

Your will, dear Lord, and Your will alone,
I pray that Your way, clearly be shown!
Let not my foolishness, stand in the way,
I know that Your will, is the best way!
Heavenly Father, Thy will be done,
Always Lord, as each new day is begun!
Your will and wisdom Lord, let me seek,
Your will in my actions, and when I speak!
Most gracious Father, I humbly pray,
Your will in my life, be done always!
Please don’t let my pride, between us stand,
Your wondrous will Lord; please take my hand!
In paths of righteousness, You will lead,
If just to Your guidance, I will heed!
Your will is the best way; this I know,
Lord, grant me wisdom, Your will to follow!
Let me ne’er forget, to do Your will,
For I want your blessings, my soul to fill!
Let me always trust You, in all I do,
Your will always Lord, let me pursue!
In all things, to You be the glory,
I’ll praise You Lord, for eternity!
I thank You for Your precious watch-care,
Your will be done, ev’ry place, ev’ry where!

YOUR WILL, YOUR WAY
Your will, Your way, is all that I ask,
Give me strength and faith, for ev’ry task.
When doubt creeps in, I should always pray,
“Increase my faith,” is what I should say.
Your will, Your way, let it always be,
Please Lord, keep Your watchful eye on me.
Dear Lord, don’t let me stray from the path,
I want no part, of Your righteous wrath.
Your will, Your way, or it will be wrong,
Let me trust in You Lord, make me strong.
I tend to roam, from Your path of light,
I need Your Spirit, to guide me right.
Your will, Your way, each and ev’ry day,
I must feel Your Presence, so I don’t stray.
“I will never leave, nor forsake thee,”
I claim this Promise, for my vic’try.
Your will, Your way, or I want it not,
For with the Blood of Christ, I was bought.
I want not, my Lord to disobey,
Lord, I want You, to show me the way.
Your will, Your way, most refuse to choose,
Can’t they see, in the end they will lose?
Yes! There is Heav’n, but also a Hell,
A frightful place, you don’t want to dwell.
Your will, Your way Lord, or Heav’n is lost,
Have you ever, considered the cost?
Your eternal destiny, you do hold,
Eternal agony, or bliss untold.

YOUR WISHES AND YOUR WILL
If my life is not pleasing to Thee,
Lord, reveal all my errors to me.
Your wishes and Your will, Yours alone,
Lord, please make Your will to me, made known.
Your will be done, I want nothing more,
For it’s You, Lord, I worship and adore.
Serving You daily, is my pleasure,
Blessings from You, are a great treasure.
Difficult, are some lessons in life,
Your strength is needed, when I face strife.
No matter what, don’t let me back away,
Let me be faithful, day after day.
If it’s not Your will, let me pass by,
I know worldly things, I must deny.
Your wishes and Your will, this I desire,
Let me, with Your love, others inspire.
Your wishes and Your will, let me seek,
And gracious Lord, help me to be meek.
Give me patience, as I walk with You,
Guiding on the narrow road with the “few.”
I look forward to my home above,
Where I will continue, to serve in love.
I care not, what others think of me,
I look to the day, when I’ll live with Thee.

YOUR WONDERFUL FRIENDSHIP
When I feel sad, depressed or low,
It seems that you, always do know!
You’re there with a gentle word or deed,
All the cares of others, you do heed.
Your heart is full of kindness and love,
You’re a ‘gift’ so rare, from God above!
You put other’s needs above your own,
Such true love is not, by many, shown.
It’s so hard to find a friend like you,
Your love and compassion are great virtues!
Your friendship is a blessing untold,
And in my heart, your love I will hold!

Everything is yours, and rightly so,
From the vast Heavens, to Hell below.
Low valleys, to stately mountains high,
All this is yours, this we can’t deny.
If we could count the stars; they are yours,
E’vn those far away, that are obscure.
On miles of seashores, small grains of sand,
All is yours, you hold all in your hand.
Yours, is ev’ry beast in the forest,
Too, fowls in the air, and in their nest.
All the cattle, on a thousand hills,
In the heat of day, or night’s cold chill.
All yours, is the world’s silver and gold,
Also any treasures, we might hold.
We too are yours, we belong to you,
We’re just here a while; we’re passing thru’.
As to your will, to each one you give,
We’re your stewards, as this life we live.
We must be faithful, this you require,
With a loving heart, and true desire.
All is yours, even gifts we possess,
We’re to use them freely, not suppress.
Building the Body of Christ, so true,
For all that we have, belong to you.
