Poems About Heaven

A CRITICAL JUNCTION

There’s an important junction, most pass by,
A junction the Bible, does specify.
The majority stay on, the broad road,
And shall end up, in the devil’s abode.

At this junction, there is a small, lone path,
And all those who take it, escape God’s wrath.
Just a “few” walk it, God’s Word tells us clear,
But they walk with Jesus, always so near.

Those who walk the broad road, keep on in sin,
They listen to Satan, they cannot win.
They walk with the devil, and not our Lord,
There’s no desire to know, what’s in God’s Word.

Fools these are, who think not of eternity,
They must never consider, Hell’s agony.
Only the wise, believe God’s Word so true,
I wonder, does this small group, include you?

Each person at this junction, will one day stand,
The decision you make, lies in your hand.
There are just two roads, to eternity,
One to Heav’n’s bliss, one to Hell’s misery.

Are you at this critical junction, this day?
Will you go with Christ, or be Satan’s prey?
This most important choice, lies in your hand,
The wide road to Hell, the small one to Heav’n Land!

A MOMENT AFTER YOU DIE

All those that you love will so weep when you go,
Your dear ones will sure miss you, and rightly so.
The teary faces that mourn, you will not see,
A moment after you die, where will you be?

All the voices around simply won't reach you,
And the grief that they bear, you will not construe.
You have a soul, do you know where it will go
A moment after you die, Heav'n  OR below ?

In your life, earthly treasures did you reap?
Not looking ahead when your body would sleep?
Consider eternity, looming ahead,
It will be too late when your body is dead!

You shall reap what you sow, there's no turning back,
Did you choose your goal, are you on the right track ?
There's two places; Hell below, Heav'n in the sky,
Where will you be, a moment after you die ?

Did you ever feel a sharp tug at your heart ?
Yet stifle that feeling, and from it depart ?
O,this is God, simply trying to reach you,
A moment after you die, He won't rescue.

Eternity is l-o-n-g, consider this fact,
I really pray that you, Heaven will attract.
But if you don't listen to God's Holy Word,
A moment after you die, Heav'n is barred.

Don't let Christ pass you by; He can save your soul,
Just trust and accept Him, He will take control.
And you won't have to worry ever again,
For the moment you die, with Him you'll remain!

A SPECIAL DREAM!

I had a very special dream last night,
I saw things of beauty, so peaceful and bright!
Lord, I saw angels, carry me to you,
This special dream seemed so real and true!

As I walked down that pure golden road,
I saw from where pure living water flow’d!
The crystal river came from God’s own Throne,
This to me, in my special dream was shown!

I saw an amazing tree of life too,
That gives food and healing, for me and you!
As on this wonderful tree, I did look,
I was grateful my name was in His book!

In my special dream, I saw you Lord,
And you were glorious, as told in your Word!
Absent from my body; present with you,
My eternal Home; such a precious view!

Dear Lord, in my dream, I fell at your Feet!
‘Twas such a privilege, when you I did meet!
I’d known you before, but now --- Face to face!
Forever with you, because of your grace!

Heav’n will be better than my special dream,
Lord, your precious worth, I highly esteem!
For just you dear Jesus, hold Heaven’s key,
For direct passage there, for eternity!

ACCEPT OR REJECT CHRIST

Accept or reject Christ; I must choose,
Accept Him, I win! Reject Him, I lose!
I choose to reject, if I choose to wait,
This choice has me knocking, on Hell’s gate.

Christ is the most important choice we’ll make,
We must take care, we don’t make a mistake!
We’re all on the journey, to eternity,
What we choose, greatly affects you and me.

This journey we’re on, is where we’ll decide,
Where in eternity, we will abide.
Many detour signs we’ll see on the way,
‘Tis Christ warning us, to go the other way.

The small road with Christ, is rugged and steep,
But He guides in love, and carefully keeps.
The devil’s road is a broad and smooth path,
But, friend, it only leads to God’s holy wrath.

We face choices, some very important ones,
The greatest of all, is God’s own Son.
Jesus will never force Himself on you,
Reject Him? Accept Him? What will you do?

Life’s journey has many pitfalls and snares,
Choosing Jesus is wise, for He really cares.
But when you reject Him, the devil grins,
And friend, you’re in a battle, you can’t win!

When you reject Christ, the devil you choose,
You’re on a collision course, you’re sure to lose.
But, if accepting Christ is what you decide,
To you the gates of Heaven, will open wide!

Access to Heaven

You can’t access Heav’n, by works you do,
It’s just reserved for the precious few.
God made a Plan, so many years ago,
Only by Jesus’ Blood, can we go!

No rituals can give you Heav’n’s key,
Rituals just give you, Hell’s agony.
Jesus holds the key, He’s God’s only Plan,
Heav’n’s door opens only, for the Son of Man!

Great riches cannot open Heav’n’s gate,
No matter if you are, famous or great.
All gold is just simply, yellow earth,
In God’s eyes, you’re nothing, of no worth.

No matter your wisdom, or your pow’r,
You cannot gain Heav’n, for ev’n one hour.
God states that Jesus, is the only Way,
To e’er see Heav’n’s glorious array.

Christ tells us we must take the narrow road,
And walk close to Him, to reach Heav’n’s abode.
No matter what you think, there’s NO other way,
Just Jesus can get you to Heav’n one day!

Mat.7:13-14; John 1:12-13; 3:3; 3:15-18,36; 14:6; 1 John 5:10-12

An Open Door

Revelation 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. (KJV)

An open door stands, wide open to you,
Will your faith allow you, to walk thru’?
Or will you turn away, because of fear?
When to the Promised Land, you are so near?

Fear or faith, which will it be for you?
Will you back away, or walk boldly thru’?
The Promised Land, is on the other side,
Where we can in peace and comfort, abide.

Your enemies, God shall expel from your sight,
When we trust God in faith, He makes things right.
The Promised Land, God says we can possess,
If thru’ that open door, we do access.

That we love the Lord God, we must take heed;
Trusting Him in faith, is our greatest deed.
Backing away in fear, taking the wrong path,
Does sadden His Heart, and brings on His wrath,

Going thru’ that open door, brings good things,
God opens His warehouse, of grand blessings.
To turn and run away, is a bad mistake,
Fear causes you, the Lord God to forsake.

Eyes of faith, eyes of fear, which will it be?
Have you e’er considered, eternity?
Faith in God brings you, to the Promised Land,
Fear brings only Hell, God’s reprimand.

(KJV)

ARE YOU ONE OF THE FEW?

Many in the past have felt Your Hand,
And You’ve blessed their efforts, thru’ out the land.
For when You called, they did not turn away,
They willingly loved, trusted and obeyed.

Many invitations, You do send,
It’s so sad that most, You do offend.
But the few who accept are privileg’d indeed,
For Your awesome touch, they did heed.

So very privileg’d and special al I,
For the Lord’s call, I did not deny.
On my own, I’d never be worthy,
But praise God, His Son gives vict’ry.

I’m privileg’d to be one of the few,
For Lord, I believe, and follow You.
You have touched me in a special way,
And Lord, I’ll be grateful, all my days.

One of the favored ones, you can be too,
You can be one of the privileg’d few.
Jesus is knocking at your heart’s door,
Open to Him for blessings, for ever more!

ARE  YOU  READY?

Are you ready for the coming of the Lord?
Are you really grounded in His living Word?
He’s able to keep what you commit to Him,
Not like all the cults, that follow ev’ry whim.

Do you know for certain that you are saved?
Or, do you follow Satan, and are depraved?
Will you be ready on that day He does come?
Or will you continue, away from Him to roam?

Are you grounded in the power of your faith?
Are you ready for that fateful day of death?
Our time here on Earth is so very short,
Are you letting Satan Heav’nly life abort?

Time is uncertain; like vapour in the air,
We’re here a while; then gone: do you know where?
Do you know the ‘place’ where forever you’ll dwell?
Let me ask you this: is it Heaven, or Hell?

Are you ready to meet the Almighty God?
All will stand before Him, the world abroad.
God has made ‘a’ plan to save your very soul,
Accept His plan, Jesus; you’re on Heaven’s roll!

Change your destination, if you’re on the wrong path,
Just trust in Jesus, will keep you from God’s wrath.
Believe God; trust Jesus; let Him take control,
And you will be ready, when He comes for your soul.

AS I JOURNEY

As I journey, thru’ this world of sin,
Jesus gives me vict’ry, I know I’ll win.
He paid the price, He redeemed my soul,
But of my life, I must give Him control.

As I journey, I see such wickedness,
There’s so much evil, and so much stress.
Ev’n those who say “Christ is my Lord,”
Turn day by day, farther from His Word.

As I journey, I see apostasy
As we speed onward, to eternity.
They rebel against God, they transgress,
Then from God, they expect blessedness.

As I journey onward, day by day,
I get closer, to my Home far away.
I feel in my heart, sadness so great,
For O so many, the Lord Jesus do hate.

As I journey, I know Earth’s not my home,
I know one day, I’ll no longer roam.
I’m headed for that City so high,
And then for e’er, my Lord I’ll glorify.

As I journey, close to Christ I walk,
And I have peace, when He and I talk.
He’s guiding me, to my mansion above,
Where for e’er I’ll know, His amazing love.

AS  I  LOOK  BACK

As I look back when I was very small,
Almost before I could even recall.
I could feel His presence, ever so near,
There was no need for me ever to fear.

I did not know this, at that very time,
I was just a child, and all seemed fine.
I didn’t know then, that I needed God,
So on my small, little path, I did trod.

When I now look back, on my early days,
I can see Him working, in many ways.
He’d chosen me, ‘fore He’d made the Earth,
Not for what I’d done, or how much my worth.

When one would curse Jews, I knew it was wrong,
Even at that young age, God made me strong.
He always watched, as I spent my time,
I know all that now, and O’  it was fine!

‘Twas riding my sled, one cold winter day,
He was there as always, and was my stay.
I went in a well; and ‘fore I could shout,
He had someone there, and she pulled me out.

He’d chosen me, before He’d made a thing,
This marvelous mystery, makes me sing.
He calls so many, but chooses so few,
‘Cause they just won’t do, what He wants them to.

Do you know just what He wants you to do?
If you don’t know Christ; He’s waiting for you.
Just believe what He says, trust Him today,
Jesus will save you; and be with you always!

ASKING IS UP TO YOU

Troubles always come, your soul to try,
But our Saviour is there, standing by!
There is always something, He can do,
My friend, the asking, is up to you!

So many troubles, are all your own,
And so many paths, you must go alone.
The love of Jesus, helps smooth the road,
Your asking always, lightens the load!

In times of trouble, He’s a Friend so true,
He’s waiting; the asking is up to you.
His awesome mercy, thru’ all endures,
This divine friendship, can truly be yours!

When troubles afflict, He’ll see you thru’,
His Presence can mean so much to you.
Go to Jesus, with a heart-felt cry,
For our caring Saviour, is standing by!

Is your heart heavy with sin’s great load?
Do you walk alone, on all wrong roads?
Could you use peace and serenity?
Asking is up to you; do not tarry!

God gives eternal life, but you must ask!
You pay no fee, nor perform any task!
Ask Jesus into your heart today,
Trust and obey Him, ‘tis the only way!

Jesus will come, when you ask Him in,
And a whole new life, for you will begin!
You must open the door, and let Him thru’,
My friend, the asking, is up to you.

If your heart is heavy with sin’s great load, as you walk alone,
on all wrong roads, Jesus loves you, as He stands by!
Simply ask Him to come into your life!

BETTER DAYS AHEAD

“Better days ahead” some people say,
When troubles come, to shatter their day.
Yet they never go to God in pray’r,
They don’t seem to think, He’s even there.

Can you truly see better days ahead?
Or do you face each new morn’ with dread?
Some much needed help could come to you,
But you must trust Jesus, ever so true.

Better days ahead, you can surely see,
But with God the Father, you must agree.
You must not reject God’s precious Son,
But by accepting Him, God’s grace you’ve won!

Better days can be ahead for you,
With joy and peace, and contentment too.
Christ promises our needs to supply,
But Him, you must not ever deny!

Jesus can give great consolation,
And better still, eternal salvation.
Ev’ry one of your sins, He can erase,
By the pow’r of His amazing grace.

Christ Jesus can give you better days,
But you must be true to Him, and obey.
Better days are ahead for you and me,
Life in Heaven, for eternity!

CALLED AND CHOSEN

Those called and chosen are privileg’d indeed,
For to Your Spirit, they do heed.
These “few” truly accept Your Son,
But most reject Christ, and Him they shun.

These that You call, open their heart wide,
So that the Saviour may come inside.
You touch these “few” in a special way,
As they come in pray’r, all thru’ the day.

So, so special are these very “few,”
For these all willingly, obey You.
It gives them great joy, Your touch to feel,
For Your awesome Presence, their soul does heal.

Called and chosen, an amazing thing,
For You reach out to these with special blessings.
Tho’ ev’ry one You call is unworthy,
Accepting Christ removes iniquity.

Many in the past, have felt Your Hand,
And You’ve blessed their efforts thru’ out the land.
Those You called that did not turn away,
Willingly love You, trust You and obey.

So many invitations, You do send,
It’s so sad that most, You do offend.
But the “few” who accept are privileg’d indeed,
For Your awesome touch, they did heed.

So very privileg’d and special, am I,
For the Lord’s call, I did not deny.
On my own, I’d never be worthy,
But praise God, His Son gave me victory!

I’m privileg’d to be one of the “few,”
For Lord, I believe and follow You.
You have touched me in a special way,
And I’ll be grateful, all my days!

Only Christ Jesus can give you a passport to Heaven!
Only He can give you inner comfort, joy and peace!

Calling You Father

Calling You Father, is a privilege indeed,
‘Tis amazing, that my prayers You heed.
I can’t comprehend Your infinite love,
That You bestow on me daily from above.

Calling You Father, makes me feel worthwhile,
For I belong to You, I am Your child.
I believe in Christ and His work on the cross,
With Him as my Saviour, I’ll ne’er be at loss.

I love You Father, from deep down inside,
I thank You for Your Spirit, who does abide.
With You as my Father, great blessings flow,
Father grant me each day, Your will to know.

Calling You Father, brings comfort to my soul,
For I trust You always, and give You control.
O heavenly Father, I know You are there,
You show great mercy and love, I know You care.

Most gracious Father, I feel Your Presence near,
Your Spirit assures me, I need never fear.
Calling You Father gives me great peace of mind,
You prove to me each day, You’re loving and kind.

When I call You Father, let me praise Your Name,
Let me ne’er bring to You displeasure or shame.
Let me always obey, and always love You,
Let me walk close to You and always be true.

Christ Delivers Us

Christ delivers us, from the lowest Hell,
Belief in Him assures, there we won’t dwell.
In the Book of life, Jesus writes our name,
Faith in Jesus, removes eternal shame.

Christ delivers us, from the wrath to come,
We will not see, the Great Tribulation.
Being in Christ Jesus, we’re justified,
Jesus’ righteousness, to us is applied.

Christ delivers us, from the pow’r of darkness,
We’re God’s friends and children, whom He does bless.
A royal priesthood, let’s sing forth our praise,
The fruit of our lips, let’s gratefully raise.

Christ delivers us, from the curse of the Law,
Placing us under grace, where there is no flaw.
We’re cursed, if just one point of the Law we fail,
But God’s wondrous grace, has much to avail.

Christ delivers us, from this present world,
As all around us, evils are unfurl’d.
Christ was not of this world, neither are we,
He made us citizens of Heav’n, eternally.

Christ delivers us, from all evil’s pow’r,
Satan has no control, ev’n in his best hour.
If we submit to God, Satan will flee,
Christ delivers our soul, eternally.

Christ delivers us, from the presence of sin,
Delivered, from the bondage we were in.
One day we shall live, in God’s Home above,
Because of our God’s, great and awesome love.

As filthy rags, is our righteousness,
But with Christ’s purity, God does bless.
When on Jesus, we trust and believe,
That moment, Christ’s righteousness we receive.

Our faith in Jesus, does justify,
The verdict “Not guilty” is God’s reply.
In the courts of Heav’n, we’re not guilty,
From the burden of sin, we’re set free.

Christ sanctifies, God states in His Word,
We’re set apart, to serve our dear Lord.
One day we’ll share Christ’s glory above,
As joint heirs with Him, in eternal love.

Christ is our Shepherd, to show us the way,
Jesus leads and guides us, ev’ry day.
On dark paths of life, He is our Light,
Ne’er deserting us, no matter the plight.

Our Lord Jesus, holds Heav’n’s only key,
Just He can give us, life eternally.
For believers, a mansion awaits,
Reserv’d for us, inside Heav’n’s gates.

Jesus is our Master, and our King,
Let’s to Him daily, our praises sing.
He is our Saviour, He is our Lord,
He should be loved, He should be ador’d.

CITY OF GOLD

One day I’ll walk on those streets of gold,
For I am His child, and in His fold.
I’ll go to that golden city so high,
And be so joyous, ne’er more to cry.

Christ has gone on to prepare a place,
Someday soon, I’ll see His glorious Face.
He will come again for me and you,
For all who believe, and to Him are true.

That city of beauty, made of pure gold,
And the glory of God we’ll behold.
No need for the sun or moon to shine,
The glory of God will lighten so fine.

That holy city, New Jerusalem,
Will come down from God, as a fine gem.
He shall be our God, holy and true,
We shall be His people, me and you.

If you know our Saviour, Christ the Lord,
You’ll see this city on your own accord.
You too will walk on those streets of gold,
Heir to His Kingdom of beauty untold!

(Rev.21:1-27; Rev.22:1-5; Jn.3:15-18)

COMPLETELY FREE

Completely free, life eternally,
It’s a Gift from God, to you and me.
We begin with the Gift of God’s Son,
Accepting Christ, salvation’s begun!

Completely free, are all God’s blessings,
Consider His grace, so amazing.
Abundant mercy, and wondrous love,
He sheds on His children, from above.

Completely free, His Spirit He gives,
Who guides and directs us, as we live.
Wisdom and strength, the Spirit provides,
There in a heartbeat, for He resides.

Completely free, access to God’s Throne,
For the Blood of His Son, did atone.
A wondrous thought, we are justified,
God hears, our prayers won’t be denied.

Completely free, wondrous peace within,
Also free, forgiveness of our sin.
The hope of eternal life is great gain,
For we know God’s Promise, does remain.

Completely free, all God does for us,
Because of Christ, to Him we’re precious.
When it is time, and God’s call we hear,
There will be nothing, for us to fear.

Fill Me With The Spirit

Fill me with Your Spirit, ev’ry day,
Don’t let me quench Him, in any way.
Let Him lead and guide me, each new hour,
Let me feel His awesome, mighty pow’r.

Let me give Your Spirit full control,
Let me give Him freedom, o’er heart and soul.
Let me feel His Presence, deep within,
Let me allow Him, to keep me from sin.

Let my mind be willing, to accept,
His abundant aid, as He protects.
Let me know, that He will never leave,
Let me do nothing, the Spirit to grieve.

Lord, let me works of the flesh forsake,
As steps on the narrow road, I take.
Let not my wicked sins, entangle me,
Let me walk with the Spirit, willingly.

For fruits of the Spirit, I do long,
For these things help keep me from all wrong.
I must not stifle the Spirit of God’s Son,
But let Him stop the darts, of the evil one.

Lord, fill me with Your Spirit, each day,
Let me walk with Him, in all right ways.
His wisdom, pow’r and guidance I need,
Lord, let me be filled, ‘fore I proceed.

Thank You Lord, for abundant blessings,
Thank You, for Your Spirit’s residing.
Thank You for all Your Spirit does for me,
As I journey onward, to eternity.

Gambling With Your Soul

People gamble with their soul, every day,
They do their own thing, and go their own way.
They bristle up, if you mention the Lord,
And they don’t want to hear, God’s Holy Word!

You must not ever gamble, with your soul,
For when Judgment day comes, God’s in control!
When this life’s o’er, and it’s Heaven you desire,
To not obey God, brings you the Lake of Fire.

When gambling with your soul, the devil grins,
For the broad road you’re on, Hell’s gate you’ll win.
Gambling with your soul, is a tragedy,
You do NOT want, eternal agony!

Evil Satan will do, his utmost best,
Urging you to gamble, he gives no rest.
But gambling your soul, is a huge mistake,
You could find yourself, in Hell’s fiery lake!

Gambling with your soul, is when you won’t believe,
Rejection of Christ, nor His Work receive.
‘Tis turning your back, on God’s Holy Word,
And despising God’s Son. Jesus, our Lord!

Are you gambling, with your soul this v’ry day?
May I suggest, you go another way.
That broad road leads, where you want NOT to go,
Heaven should be your goal, NOT Hell below!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:

(KJV)
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name

GATES OF HEAVEN, OR HELL’S FIRES, THE

The gates of Heaven, or Hell’s fires,
Which of these two, is your desire?
Most folk have not thought, much ‘bout this,
The terror of Hell, or Heaven’s bliss.

Most go thru’ life, not thinking of God,
Just their ev’ry day life, as they trod.
Just the comfort of each new day,
Is in their thoughts, as they go their way.

This Earth is not our perm’nent home,
We’re just pilgrims, as we do roam.
We’re given this time to decide,
Where for eternity, we’ll abide.

God does live in Heaven above,
Where there’s peace and joy, and great love.
Those gates of Heaven have just one key,
Christ Jesus, is His identity!

Without our Lord, there’s just Hell’s fires,
On your own, that’s what you’ll acquire.
Only Jesus has the power,
To deliver, at the right hour.

GIVE GOD PERMISSION

All are vile sinners; God’s Word does tell,
We are His enemies; bound for Hell.
But God is so good; He made a Way,
That we might live with Him, some sweet day.

Give God permission; and He’ll change you,
He wants you as His child, pure and true.
He gave His Son pow’r, your life to change,
Give God permission; He’ll re-arrange.

Christ can make you God’s child, and God’s friend,
And some day you will, to Heav’n ascend.
Trust and hope in Christ, can make you pure,
Giving vict’ry o’er sin’s evil lure.

It’s your choice; to give God permission,
He’ll not force you, to make a decision.
He’ll change so many things, all for you,
Give God permission; and He’ll rescue!

He needs permission, ‘fore He steps in,
When He has it; a new life begins.
Repent of your sins; open your heart,
Gives God permission, your new life to start.

GO TO THE FOOT OF HIS CROSS

To the foot of the cross, we must go,
To be relieved of pain and sorrow.
Kneel there, my dear friend, kneel there today,
And all your sin will be washed away.

Kneel at His cross, cast your pride away,
Humbly admit, you need Him today.
Admit you are wrong, and God is right,
Then you will walk in His glorious Light.

When you kneel at His cross; this I know,
Your sins will be washed, whiter than snow.
You shall be washed by His precious Blood,
Sins are gone; washed away by the Flood.

Throw away your pride; at His cross kneel,
A divine experience, you shall feel.
Never again will you be the same,
You are now God’s child; in Jesus’ Name.

GOD TELLS IT STRAIGHT

Christ is the ‘Door’ to Heaven’s domain,
Without Him, in Hell, you will remain.
Only thru’ Christ will you be saved,
Trying without Him; you’re depraved.

Christ is the ‘Way’, the ‘Truth’, and the ‘Life’,
Without Him, evil and sin are rife.
No man can get to God on his own,
Tho’ most follow paths, Satan has shown.

Christ is the only ‘Name’ giv’n to men,
Only He can save, from way back when!
No other ‘name’ under Heaven is giv’n,
You must go thru’ Christ, to reach Heaven!

Christ is the only ‘One’ to give grace,
Without Him, we’ll NEVER see God’s Face.
Only the grace of our mighty God,
Can save us from Hell, as Earth we trod.

Christ can justify us, in God’s eyes,
Thru’ the Blood He shed, when they did crucify.
ONLY thru’ His precious Blood alone,
Can our great sin e’er be atoned.

Do you know Christ as Saviour today?
God’s Word plainly tells; ther’s NO other way!
God won’t hide things; but tells us so straight,
You must go thru’ Christ, to reach Heav’n’s gate!

God’s Child, How Do You Know?

Jesus is the Christ, do you believe?
Into God’s family, He will receive.
If we love God, we must love His Son,
The Father, thru’ His Son, gives salvation.

How do we know, if we are God’s child?
He gives us His Spirit to abide.
And we must love God, and must obey,
And love all God’s children, ev’ry day.

To love God, we must keep His commands,
This really is not too much to demand.
Burdensome, His Laws, really are not,
His vast lovingkindness, should be sought.

Overcoming the world, what do we do?
Our victory comes from faith, so true.
Overcoming the world can be won,
We must believe Jesus is God’s Son.

We must believe all that God has said,
Calling Him a “liar” will bring great dread,
Eternal life comes just thru’ God’s Son,
Without Christ, there is only perdition!

GOING HOME

My going Home, could be very near,
Praise be to Jesus, I have no fear.
All the pearly gates, are open’d wide,
What joy I’ll have, when I go inside!

A joint heir of Christ, that’s lowly me,
That’s why I know, Heav’n’s beauty I’ll see!
Absent from the body, present with the Lord,
What a Treasure, is God’s Holy Word!

One day I’ll walk, on that street of gold,
And the brilliance of Heav’n, I’ll behold!
The city is pure gold, like clear glass,
And to this grand place, I have a pass!

Magnificent beauty, everywhere!
I have a place reserv’d for me, there!
New Jerusalem, that is this place,
Where one day I’ll see, my Saviour’s Face!

Dazzling jewels, make up the foundation,
Of this wondrous Home, of God’s own Son.
The sun or moon, the city has no need,
Christ’s awesome glory, is Light indeed!

The water of life, from God’s Throne proceeds,
Tis all the refreshment, we’ll ever need!
Beside that river, the tree of life too,
Bringing food and health, to me and you!

No more curse there, and no more dark night,
No more temptations, of Satan to fight!
No more death, no sorrow, no more pain,
Being a child of God, brings great gain!

God shall wipe all tears, from their eyes away,
This shall be, a grand and glorious day!
Thank You Jesus, for all You’ve done for me,
And thank You, for life eternally!

Good vs Evil

Does the Word of God, your soul control?
Or are the things of this world, your goal?
Help Lord, for the godly man does cease,
As the wicked, do greatly increase!

All the upright, shall dwell in the land,
The righteous shall remain, in God’s Hand!
But all the wicked, shall be cut off,
And in fiery Hell, they’ll no longer scoff!

A godly man hates lies, right is his aim,
The wicked are loathsome, and come to shame!
The righteous shall sing, for joy of heart,
The wicked shall, in sorrow depart!

Blessings are on the righteous, each day,
While curses are on the wicked, always!
The fruit of the righteous, to Heav’n leads,
But the fruit of the wicked, God pays no heed!

The righteous are, a firm foundation,
The wicked are as a whirlwind, God shuns!
The path of the righteous, God does bless,
But the wicked fall, by their wickedness.

The righteous are by God, clearly known,
But the wicked by God, are overthrown!
The works of the righteous, shall be repaid,
While sins of the wicked, make them afraid!

The righteous are harmless, and without blame,
The wicked are vicious, with much shame!
The righteous are heirs, to a mansion on high,
While not one of the wicked, qualify!

Are you righteous, or wicked today?
Are you God’s child, or the devil’s prey?
Are you headed, for Heav’n’s grand beauty?
Or Hell’s fearful terror, eternally?

The gates shall not be shut at all by day,
There will be truth, honor and glory alway.
Those who obey God, are truly blest,
For they shall enter Heav’n, for perfect rest.

HEAVEN

Heaven is as a bud, yet to unfold,
Revealing that wondrous street of gold.
With a tree of life, on either side,
Where with our awesome God, we will abide!

Heaven will be as a glorious rose,
Too beautiful, for us to ev’n suppose.
A river of water from the Throne will flow,
And God’s tender care for us, He will show.

Heaven is built of pure gold, clear as glass,
And no wickedness, will ever trespass.
There’ll be no more death, no sorrow, no pain,
There’ll be no more tears from us, e’er again!

The City’s wall is a dazzling array,
Sparkling jasper makes a brilliant display.
Its foundation is of twelve precious stones,
Such radiant colors; it’s polychrome.

The wall has twelve gates; one pearl is each gate,
So amazing! it truly does frustrate.
There is no danger; the gates never close,
Nothing that defiles will ever impose.

There’ll be no night in this exalted place,
It will be lighted by God’s glorious grace.
God and the Lamb are all the light we’ll need,
Unlimited brilliance from them proceed!

Can you imagine this beautiful Place?
Where one day we will see our Saviour’s Face.
God’s children will live there for eternity,
There’s a mansion reserv’d for you and me.

Heaven

When I read His Words of Heav’n’s beauty,
This awesome Place, of tranquility,
My mind simply cannot comprehend,
The Home of my God, who calls me friend.

Gold and precious gems, God did not spare,
When He built that City, way up there.
On that street of transparent gold, we’ll walk,
And of His glory, we’ll ne’er cease to talk.

Twelve wondrous gems, make the wall so high,
And the Light of our God, will intensify.
No sun or moon will be needed there,
For God and the Lamb, lights up everywhere!

In the beautiful wall, will be twelve gates,
Each gate will be just one pearl, e’er so great.
An angel by each of the gates does stand,
Secure from all evil, it will feel so grand.

Nothing evil will e’er be allowed in,
It will be peace, joy and bliss; never sin.
No more tears, no more death, no more sorrow,
We can always look forward to tomorrow.

I simply cannot picture this Place up there,
For nothing on Earth ev’n begins to compare.
To live eternally with God’s love and grace,
And to finally see, my Saviour’s dear Face!

HEAVEN OR HELL??

Heaven will be clothed with beauty and light,
Hell is naked before Him; dark as the night.
Heaven is high with Him; Hell is deep below,
Which of these places my friend, will you go?

Heaven is for all who love and obey God,
Hell, for Satan, and all who with him do trod.
Just as Heaven shall greet each one who believes,
Hell with its kings and chief ones, rejecters receive.

Heav’n can be attained by the young, or old,
Just trust Christ to save you, and you’re in the fold.
But all who can’t believe the Words God does tell,
Follow that slippy, dark way, and fall into Hell.

Not only the wicked ones to Hell will go,
‘Twill be many good, moral people, below.
A terrible pity, an eternal shame,
For those who refuse Christ, nor trust on His Name.

All God’s children will hear that Heavenly bell,
But all unbelievers, are turned into Hell.
Heav’n will be Home for those who trust and believe,
Hell is for rejecters; forever they’ll grieve.

It is easy your destination to change,
From Hell, to HEAVEN, do not think it so strange.
Believe what He says, just trust Jesus today,
Open your heart to Him. there’s no other way!

Only thru’ Jesus, there is NO other way,
To get to Heaven, on that fateful day.
No matter who you are, or where you are from,
God the Father, thru’ Jesus, will bid you “COME”.

HEAVEN,  OUR  ETERNAL  HOME

In God’s house are many mansions, Christ said so,
He went to prepare a place, for us to go.
If we’re God’s children, by being ‘born again’,
One day He’ll call us Home, from our grief and pain.

A new Heaven and Earth will someday appear,
God’s wrath will end, and He will always be near.
The Holy City, the new Jerusalem,
God made for His children, ev’ry one of them.

There’ll be no more sorrow, no crying, no pain,
All tears are gone; and all reasons to complain.
God Himself shall dwell with us; His we will be,
Wondrous joy, peace and bliss, for eternity.

The City’s Light, as a gem precious and clear,
Will be Jesus, please do listen and do hear.
We’ll not need the sun’s rays, nor light of the moon,
For His Light is brilliant; and He shall come soon.

There’ll be no more night, no evil, and no wrong,
All shall glorify God, so supreme and strong.
Nothing that defiles; not one who makes a lie,
Will be able to enter in, or even to pry.

I pray you listen, if you’ve not believed God,
Don’t follow Satan, on that road that’s so broad.
You don’t want to go with him, of this I’m sure,
It’s a road to destruction, and has no cure.

Please trust and follow Jesus, He’ll lead you right,
Just He can take you to Heav’n, all pure and bright.
Open your heart’s door, He wants to come inside,
And with you, for eternity, He will abide.

HEAVEN  VERSES  HELL

Heaven and Hell are REAL; they do exist,
Heaven for those who Christ do not resist.
Hell was made for the devil and his angels,
But if you follow him, there you’ll dwell.

Most folk don’t think about Hell deep below,
They don’t think that there they will ever go.
I ask that you think about it today,
Just believe God, and you won’t go that way.

What’s the difference ‘tween Heav’n and Hell?
In God’s Word, He very plainly does tell.
In Heav’n living water; in Hell constant thirst,
The ‘Light’ of Christ, verses total darkness!

In Heav’n no more pain; in Hell agony,
Friendship in Heav’n, verses Hell’s enemies.
Love and joy of Heav’n, verses sadness and hate,
Twelve gates in Heav’n, verses Hell’s NO escape.

Comfort and contentment of God’s bright Heav’n,
No rest, and resentment, what Hell is giv’n.
Blessings and peace verses judgment and anger,
Constant fellowship, verses no one to care.

Blue skies and sweet fragrance of Heav’n so high,
Blackness and sulfur stench in Hell awry.
Green grass and flowers, verses dark deep pits,
No more tears in Heav’n; in Hell, screams won’t quit!

O’ dear friend, as you read these brutal words,
Please accept Christ; don’t reject or discard!
Only Christ can save you from deep dark Hell,
Only Christ gives Heav’n’s key, where you could dwell.

Heav’n Vs Hell

God’s children shall live in Heav’n above,
In this great city, fill’d with God’s love.
The home of Satan’s children is Hell,
In misery for e’er, they shall dwell.

Heav’n shall be an awesome, dazzling sight,
For e’er glist’ning, in God’s glorious light.
Worse than the blackest night, Hell shall be,
Smoth’ring darkness, for eternity.

In Heav’n, the Presence of God is there,
You will feel His great love, ev’ry where.
In Hell, God will be no where around,
Just agonizing pain, shall abound.

No more crying in Heav’n, no more tears,
Just peace, joy, comfort, and no more fears.
In Hell, crying and tears shall ne’er cease,
Foreboding heartbreak, will not decrease.

In Heav’n, a river starts at God’s Throne,
Its beauty, shall be our very own.
Hell will have NO water anywhere,
Distress and anguish, can’t be compar’d.

A tree of life, shall be by the street,
Its fruit to us, shall be a great treat.
In Hell, absolutely not one tree,
No nature’s beauty, no serenity.

In Heav’n, love, joy and tranquility,
Peace and contentment, eternally.
In Hell, suff’ring, that will never end,
And out of that pit, you’ll ne’er ascend.

In Heav’n there shall be twelve wondrous gates,
Each gate will be one pearl, e’er so great.
NO exit doors, anywhere in Hell,
This place where Satan and his children dwell.

HELL? or HEAVEN?

Those in Hell shall live in agony,
Then, they’ll not doubt, God’s supremacy.
While on Earth, they rejected the Lord,
Living a life of pleasure, they adored.

Those in Heav’n don’t doubt God’s sovereignty,
Our Almighty King, of eternity.
They accepted the Lord, while on Earth,
Living a life of service, and great worth.

Your soul is eternal, did you know?
With two destinations, where it could go.
Reject Jesus, and for you it’s Hell,
Accept Jesus, and in Heav’n you’ll dwell.

Before you this day, just two roads lie,
Which road will you choose, before you die?
The wide road leads to Hell’s agony,
The narrow road, to Heav’n’s serenity.

HOW CAN I GET TO HEAVEN?

Can I get to Heav’n with wealth of this Earth?
Can I buy my way, into that bliss and mirth?
Jesus plainly tells us just how it will be,
“No man cometh to the Father, but by me.”

Can I get to Heav’n by my highly known fame?
Can my good repute excite God with my name?
God’s Word clearly tells us just how it will be,
“For there is no respect of persons with me.”

Can I get to Heav’n by ruling and power?
Can my strength and ability make God cower?
Jesus plainly tells us just how it will be,
“Ye shall die in your sins, if you reject me.”

Can I get to Heav’n with knowledge and wisdom?
Can my years of learning make Heav’n bid me “Come”?
God’s Word clearly tells us just how it will be,
God chose foolish, weak things, for eternity.

Can I get to Heav’n by beauty of my face?
Can outward appearance bring His saving grace?
Jesus plainly tells us just how it will be,
“Belief in me, will bring life eternally.”

Can I get to Heav’n thru’ good friends and good deeds?
Can Heav’n be attained by baptism or creeds?
God’s Word clearly tells us just how it will be,
We’re saved by grace, not works, lest boasters become we.

Jesus plainly tells us just how it will be,
Not all who call Him “Lord”, shall the gates of Heav’n see.
You must believe, and trust Him; to hear that bell,
Unbelievers are condemned, end up in Hell.

How Long???

Many more years, or an hour more,
None of us know what God holds in store.
All of us have an alloted time,
I do not know, when death will be mine.

We all dream dreams that never come true,
They just vanish, with the morning dew.
Instead we should think of eternity,
Because our time to go, is a mystery.

Some friends’ trust o’er the years, I could not reap,
Left alone in sorrow, I did weep.
But there is a true Friend, who does care,
In all pain and sorrow, He’s always there.

Tomorrow for you, may ne’er arrive,
Today may be your last day alive.
Dear Lord, teach us to number our days,
Life is so short, guide me in all right ways.

Our days are like a shadow that declines,
Life on Earth tomorrow, may not be mine.
Like cut grass, we all will wither and die,
We know not the day, we cannot deny.

Let’s apply our hearts to wisdom each day,
Let’s spend our time wisely in all our ways.
Many more years, or just an hour more,
Not one of us know what God has in store.

Ask yourself: “Is there something specific I should do before I die? What can I do to make this a reality? Am I right with God?”

I DON’T DESERVE

Yet blessings from You, ne’er cease to flow.
You are so good and upright ev’ry day,
Teaching us vile sinners, in the right way.

Lord, You are so good, and knoweth all things,
In our days of trouble, strength You do bring.
I don’t deserve, the blessings that You send,
My amazing God, is also my Friend.

I don’t deserve, all Your tender mercies,
And Your forgiveness of my iniquities.
How manifold are all Thy mighty works,
Your wondrous blessings to us, You ne’er shirk.

I don’t deserve, the forgiveness You give,
My sins are wretched and wicked, as I live.
Your mercy is plenteous, when we call on Thee,
Your goodness is truly, a mystery.

I don’t deserve, Your astonishing grace,
And the hope of one day, seeing Your Face.
Your goodness and mercy shall follow me,
‘Til the day I meet You, for eternity.

Your goodness is there, for all who seek You,
For Your wondrous blessings always come thru’.
What love the Father has on us bestowed,
On all His children, His vast blessings flow.

And I thank You too, that You are mine.

I humbly thank You, for cleansing me,
And making me ready, for eternity.

I’ll humbly accept, my mansion one day,
And I thank You, for showing me the way.
Your love, Your mercy, Your amazing grace,
Make it possible, that I’ll see Your Face.

And accept all, in the Name of Your Son.
Such precious blessings, beyond compare,
I thank You that one day, I’ll be with You there.

IF CHRIST IS YOUR SAVIOUR

If Christ is your Saviour, God blesses you
In so many ways, and in all that you do.
You are indeed a child of God, so great,
Did you e’er wonder? “Just how do I rate?”

‘Tis not works you do, that make you His child,
Only the ‘Works of Christ’ are undefiled.
We must go thru’ Christ, to get to God,
This means ev’ry nation, the world abroad.

If Christ is your Saviour, peace is with you,
Peace, down in your heart; peace, warm and true.
We have perfect peace, whose mind is on Him,
Worldly peace can’t compare; it’s false and dim.

If Christ is your Saviour, please take heed,
God did promise, to supply all our needs.
Food, drink, clothing and shelter He will give,
If you are His child, as long as you live.

If Christ is your Saviour, you’ll not see Hell,
Instead, with God, in Heav’n you’ll dwell.
Eternal life is promised, thru’ God’s Son,
Acceptance of Christ, means Heav’n, you’ve won!

I’M  HEAVEN  BOUND

I’m Heaven bound, as I journey thru’
This world of preparation; “How ‘bout you?”
On this Earth, we’ll decide where we’ll go,
To Heaven with God, or Hell below.

Our soul lives forever; this I know,
God patiently tries, Heaven to show.
He’ll give ev’ry chance, your soul to save,
But ‘twill be no more chance after the grave.

It’s your decision, one you must make,
I pray that you, won’t make a mistake.
There are only two places you can go,
To glorious Heaven, or Hell below.

Just one ‘Key’ can open Heaven’s gate,
And that is Christ Jesus; don’t hesitate!
Believe God, accept Jesus this day,
And you’ll be Heaven bound; all the way.

Only Christ can save your soul from Hell,
You certainly don’t want there to dwell.
Christ is standing outside your heart’s door,
Open unto Him; and Heaven’s in store!

JUST ONE

Just one love, as special as Thine,
A love that I do claim as mine.
Just one peace, that I can’t understand,
A peace deep within, O so grand.

Just one life, just one death on the cross,
Freely You died, didn’t count it loss.
Such great kindness, such tremendous love,
These things could just come, from Heav’n above.

Just one Saviour, who shed His precious Blood,
He redeemed us, with that wondrous Flood.
Just one awesome grace, that set us free,
Loving grace that cleansed, our iniquity.

Just one Master, who leads and guides,
Giving us His Spirit to abide.
Just one precious Lord, whom we should serve,
This wondrous Lord, whom we don’t deserve.

Just one hope, that You give to me,
Hope of living, eternally.
Just one mansion, in Heav’n above,
Prepared by You, Lord, in such great love.

Just one narrow road, to travel on,
When our journey to Heav’n, is begun.
Just one Light, to brighten our path,
Jesus’ Light, will keep us from God’s wrath.

Just one Way, to be God’s friend,
Just one Lord who can make amends.
Just one sincere faith, can justify,
We must believe, and on Christ rely.

Just one God said: I will never leave,
And to this one God, we can cleave.
Just one God alone, loves us so,
From this God alone, do blessings flow.

MOST

The thought of death causes most to fear,
For most, do not want, God’s Word to hear.
Most know deep down, there’s more than this life,
But they just keep on, with fear and strife.

Each has within, an eternal soul,
Most are headed for the gates of Sheol.
Most are traveling the road to Hell,
And most will never in Heaven dwell.

There is a ‘WAY’ you can reach Heaven,
Accept God’s Gift, He’s freely given.
Believe on Jesus, God’s only Son,
And eternal life for you, has begun.

God did not make Hell for human kind,
But for most, the gates of Hell they’ll find.
Just a few, travel the narrow road,
That leads to Heaven’s blissful abode.

Does the thought of death, cause you to fear?
The love of Christ, can make it disappear.
Perfect love gives a way out of Hell,
Accept it, and, in Heaven you’ll dwell.

NO HOPE WITHOUT CHRIST

Without Christ, people walk in darkness,
With nary a hope, that God will bless.
The wicked walk in darkness so deep,
Fumbling, stumbling, as slowly they creep.

Without Christ, people’s lives are as night,
Ne’er consid’ring, that Christ is the Light!
Tho’ His Light shines, they just cannot see,
Madly they rush, towards Hell’s agony.

Tho’ it be noon, as the blind they grope,
Their way does not prosper, they have no hope.
So slippery is their dark, gloomy path,
Speeding along, to God’s Holy wrath.

They know not, nor do they understand,
They hurry away, from God’s helping Hand.
Without Christ, they know not righteousness,
Instead they walk, dreaded paths of darkness.

For those who walk as the blind, grief awaits,
Without Christ, they will ne’er see Heav’n’s gate.
They walk the broad road, to agony,
Ne’er to see the bliss of Heav’n’s beauty.

Ev’n tho’ you walk in darkness this day,
There is a bright path, a much better way.
With Christ Jesus, you can have blessed hope,
He’ll lighten your path, so you need not grope.

With Christ Jesus, you can be God’s friend,
He’ll give peace and comfort, to the end.
You will access Heav’n, assuredly,
To live in bliss and splendor, eternally.

NO MATTER

No matter your trouble, Jesus is near,
His loving compassion, your heart will cheer.
His abiding Presence, is always with you,
No matter your problem, He’ll see you thru’.

Some will experience, great sorrow and woe,
But Jesus is with you, where e’er you go.
Great peace is within, when you walk with Him,
Your darkest troubles, grow wondrously dim.

With each passing moment, He knows where you are,
No matter the nation, be it near or far.
He knows the end of things, ‘fore they’ve begun,
That’s our precious Saviour, God’s only Son.

All your troubles, to the Lord you should take,
He’s always there, He won’t leave or forsake.
Troubles may come in great severity,
But when you trust Jesus, you’ll have victory.

You may experience, much sorrow and pain,
But comfort from Jesus, is such great gain.
No matter how bad, He can see you thru’,
If you are God’s child, He dearly loves you.

NO  MORES  OF  HEAVEN

The beauty of our God’s Heaven can’t be told,
It’s unspeakable; and one day we’ll behold!
There’ll be so many things that won’t be there,
I’m looking forward to climbing that stair.

No more pain from troubles or labors long,
No more sickness, no disease; nothing wrong!
No more heart attacks, no cancer, no doctors,
No more old age, no more death held in store.

There shall be no more funerals, e’er again,
No parting, no families, broken by men!
No more poverty, no hunger, no more thirst,
No more afflictions that need to be nursed.

No more oppression of the poor weak folk,
No injustice, that would take their only cloak.
No more suffering, no confusion, no more stress,
No more war, no more crime, no more wickedness!

No more evil, no hatred, and no more lies,
No drunkenness, no hard feelings to deny.
No more meanness, no ugliness, no more strife,
I can’t ev’n imagine this kind of life!

No more pride, no stubbornness, no more fear,
No depressing moments will e’er come near!
No disappointments, no more heartaches deep,
No more worry, no more loneliness to reap.

No more sin of any kind; Satan is gone!
No one to discourage; ‘twill be a new dawn!
Do you want to go to this marvelous place/
Just accept Jesus, you’ll go by God’s grace!

NO MORES OF HELL

No more wonderful fragrance of a rose,
No more beautiful birds; can you suppose?
No more blue skies, with fluffy clouds so white,
And no more children with laughter so bright.

No more peace at heart, no more feeling swell,
No more joyous occasions; not in Hell.
No more fishing or boating on water clear,
Friend, there is no more water, no where near!

No more friendship of joy, found in that throng,
No more comforts of home, no loving song.
No more music or laughter in that place,
No more of God’s mercy, pardon, or grace!

No more light, not even a tiny bit,
No more tranquillity, no contentment.
No more goodness of any kind, e’er more,
No more blessings from God will be in store!

No more love, joy, nor happiness in Hell,
Is this the place you have chosen to dwell?
No more beauty of nature on Hell’s banks,
Just darkness forever; ‘twill be so rank!

You’re on the way to Heav’n or Hell this day,
Only Jesus can get you to Heav’n’s way!
But if you do reject God’s only Son,
Hell does await, and agony begun.

NO SHAME

Precious Lord Jesus, You bring me no shame,
It gives me great honor, to praise Your Name.
No shame do I feel, but instead great pride,
That Your Holy Spirit, within me resides.

Lord, You keep my soul, and deliver me,
I’m not ashamed to put my trust in Thee.
Uphold me, according to thy Word,
I’m not ashamed of my hope, precious Lord.

When we look to You, there’s no shame on our face,
My heart is sound, and there is no disgrace.
If we believe on You, we’ll not be asham’d,
For in Your Book of Life, You write our name.

I live in earnest hope and expectation,
For You promis’d eternal salvation.
I know You are able to keep my soul,
I trust You Lord Jesus, God gave You control.

If we are to suffer, let us not have shame,
But let us glorify God, in Your Name.
Let us not be asham’d when You appear,
If we trust and obey, we need not fear.

Of our blessed hope, we should have no shame,
Eternal life waits, when we trust Your Name.
The love of God is shed abroad in our heart,
You will not disappoint us, nor depart.

We must not be asham’d of Christ and His Words,
This is clearly taught, by our precious Lord.
If we’re asham’d of Christ, He’ll reject us one day,
And we’ll never see Heav’n’s glorious array.

Where there are few, who are righteous and just.

One day in Heav’n, all God’s children will roam,

Never again, temptation to resist,
No more of the devil’s tricks, that persist.

One Day

One day I'll look down at my feet,
and they will be standing on gold!
When Heav'n's door is open'd to me,
such great wonders I'll behold!

One day as I survey Heav'n's bliss,
and gaze at my "mansion" there,
I'll be grateful to my Saviour,
for His eternal love and care.

One day, in but a multitude,
as I wander 'bout Heav'n's domain,
Ten thousand years, and a million more,
For eternity, I'll remain!

One day I'll sit at Jesus' Feet,
and behold His awesome glory,
And as I walk in His vast Light,
I'll praise His name, eternally!

One day I'll talk to godly men,
Noah, Elijah, Daniel too,
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego,
These are just some of the faithful "few."

Not just one day, but fore'er more,
I'll serve my Master, ev'ry day!
So gratefully and willibnglty,
In the splendor of, Heav'n's display!

One day I'll be in my Home on high,
To live with Christ, eternally,
Privileged! I am one of the "few,"
My faith and belief, gave me vic'try!

ONLY ONE ROAD TO GOD!

In this life, there is only one road,
A narrow one, leading to God’s abode.
All other roads lead to that broad highway,
Traveling them, you are Satan’s prey.

All sin, and come short of God’s glory,
Wages of that sin is death, not victory.
God can’t look on sin of any kind,
We must turn to Him, leave sin behind!

All who sin, deserve its penalty,
The fires of hell, with no serenity.
But, --- God gives a “Gift” to me and you,
Eternal life thru’ Christ who did rescue.

God showed great love, sending His Son to die,
Christ loved us so, He was crucified.
He paid our sin debt we could not pay,
By His Sacrifice He did portray.

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us,
By shedding His Blood, so very precious.
Silver and gold our salvation can’t buy,
Heav’n can’t be ours, if Christ’s work we deny.

Heav’n can be ours, if we walk the right road,
Hand in hand with Christ, He’ll help bear our load.
His great light will shine, making things bright,
All darkness will flee, for He is the Light!

Jesus is the Truth, the Life and the Way,
And the only Road that leads to Heav’n’s array.
Christ is the narrow Road millions reject,
But just He alone, your soul can protect.

ONLY TWO ROADS

Many are the roads in the world today,
They lead to many places; in all ways.
Many destinations; our choice to make,
We will arrive, if the right road we take.

Eternity has just two special roads,
One narrow and strait; the other, so broad.
Just two destinations to eternity,
Heav’n and Hell; which will be your destiny?

The choice is yours, only you can decide,
Heaven or Hell; just where will you abide?
Your soul is eternal; it lives alway,
Which of these two roads are you on today?

God is so patient; He does love you so,
He does not want any, to Hell to go.
He is so righteous, so just and so true,
You must BELIEVE Him, or He won’t rescue.

Christ says: Enter ye in at the strait gate,”
Stay on that narrow road, to Heav’n so great.
If you do choose that road, so smooth and broad,
You’ll end up in Hell, and never see God.

Salvation is easy, God made it so,
BELIEVE Him in faith, and to Heav’n you’ll go!
But, if you reject His Plan, His own Son,
You’re already condemned; Hell you’ve won.

PREPARATIONS

When you plan a trip, to go away,
Do you prepare for that special day?
If you’re like most, you plan well ahead,
With preparations; so there’s no dread.

Most people never prepare or plan,
For the most important trip of man.
Most live as if they won’t ever die,
Death is certain, don’t try to deny.

When your day comes; just where will you go?
Your soul lives for e’er, you’d better know!
Just two destinations; Heav’n or Hell,
You’re headed for one, for e’er to dwell.

Have you made preparations for that day?
When you will leave this Earth, and go away.
You will leave, there is no doubt at all,
When your time is up, our God will call.

Hell is the place folks don’t want to hear,
But it is there, and a place to fear!
You don’t want to go Hell below,
Instead, our Saviour, you need to know!

Only Christ can take you to Heav’n’s land,
You must prepare, and be well planned.
Your most important trip is soon to come,
Just WHERE will be your eternal home?

RESTING PLACE

Do we like John have a deep love confessed?
Do we lay our head on the Master’s Breast?
When we’re weary, where is our resting place?
Do we seek the world, or Christ Jesus’ Face?

Many people in the world today,
Say “I’m Christian” but from Christ run away.
Upon Christ’s Breast, they do not lay their head,
But they look for worldly comfort instead.

Do you rest in bars, with booze flowing free?
Or do you prefer drugs and sex orgies?
Do you ever seek, the true Resting Place?
Have you considered, God’s amazing grace?

“I’m a Christian” . . . words many folk say,
But they walk the broad path, go their own way.
They Ne’er consider God’s awesome belssings,
He offers a Resting Place, a wondrous thing.

The world offers insufficient rest,
Far from superior, far from the best.
The only Resting Place, is Christ so true,
His open Arms are reaching out to you.

Millions in the world today find rest in temporary things. Only those who seek Jesus, can ever have rest in this life on Earth . . . and in the life to come. Our soul is eternal, this is a FACT . . . no matter what you may think. There are only two roads, each leading to completely opposite desitnations . . . Heaven and Hell. Be wise as you choose one of the roads.

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)

Roads To Heaven

On the brink of disaster, this world stands,
This whole Universe, is in the Lord’s Hands.
Immorality, and such wickedness,
The Almighty Creator, will not bless.

As each of us walk, in the world today,
Oh! So many are trav’ling, the broad way,
They follow their master, who leads to Hell,
And there for eternity, they shall dwell.

Great, lofty mountains, and canyons so wide,
Will cross our path, as in this life we stride.
Those who are wise, will walk the narrow path,
In the light of Christ, which keeps us from God’s wrath.

We may come to a huge canyon, so deep,
Along the edge, we must cautiously creep.
We must obey the Spirit, as He guides,
Always correct directions, He’ll provides.

A wild raging river, comes into view,
How will we cross over? What shall we do?
Many are the obstacles, on our road,
As we keep on, to our heavn’ly abode.

Are you standing, at a junction this day?
Don’t let the old devil, your mind to sway.
If you’re on the broad road, get off right now,
Let the Holy Ghost, with wisdom endow.

Trials and tribulations, each day arrive,
The Spirit of Christ, your strength can revive.
From all temptations, you can walk away,
You can do all things, through Christ every day.

Many obstacles could come, across our road,
But the light of Christ, on us is bestowed.
Privileg’d we are, with Jesus on our side,
We must keep our faith, and in Him abide.

STEPPING STONES TO HEAVEN

FAITH is the first ‘stepping stone’ we need,
It’s important that God’s Word we heed.
Trust and confidence, we must have in full,
Or with God, you’ll not have any pull.

Faith and trust in JESUS, our Saviour,
A ‘stepping stone’ so true and grandeur.
You’ll not slip and fall with Jesus there,
He’ll lead and guide, in darkest despair.

Another ‘stepping stone’ is KNOWLEDGE,
Without God’s Word, you’re out on a ledge.
You must know what our God has to say,
You must study His Word, and obey!

LOVE; this is such a great ‘stepping stone’,
Kindness and love, to all must be shown.
Great love our Lord to us did apply,
Love so wondrous, for us He did die!

Another ‘stone’ is humility,
Or Heav’n will not be our destiny.
Step on your pride; cast it far away,
Or you’ll not see Heav’n’s glorious array.

Another ‘stepping stone’ is SERVICE,
We must serve to receive His promise.
If you love Christ, you’ll do all you can,
To spread the Gospel; for ‘tis God’s plan.

The Vast Realm of Eternity

Consider the life that is to be,
In the vast realm of eternity.
Do you think, of what the future holds?
Will you e’er walk, on that street of gold?

The river - - - clear and pure, did you know?
The water of life, from God’s Throne flows.
In the midst of the street, on each side,
Is the tree of life, that God provides.

No more curse, shall e’er again be found,
Just blessings from the Lord, will abound.
We shall at last see, His precious Face,
And first hand feel, His amazing grace.

There shall never be, any more night,
Just the brilliance, of our Saviour’s Light.
No sun or moon, will this City need,
Glory from God and the Lamb, shall proceed.

No more death, sorrow, crying or pain,
From all these things, we shall abstain.
Nothing that defiles, shall enter in,
Gone will be wickedness and sin.

Consider now, the other life to be,
In the vast realm of eternity.
Most will go in, thru’ Hell’s one lone gate,
The Lake of Fire, is the sinner’s fate.

No exit doors, just smoke and darkness,
Here, God’s Glory is gone; He won’t bless.
God’s wondrous Presence, you won’t e’er see,
You’ll be bann’d for e’er, from His mercy.

Agonizing screams, will never cease,
Christ is not there, so you’ll have no peace.
All the wonder of Heav’n, you’ll never see,
Just non-stop suff’ring, eternally.

Only two roads, to eternity,
One leads to bliss, the other - - - agony.
Your future in your own hands, you hold,
Eternal suff’ring - - - or the street of gold.

The Way to Heaven

The way to Heaven is narrow, and so strait,
But it leads to eternal life, thru’ Heav’n’s gate.
‘Twill be joy forever, when our task is done,
When we pass thru’ the gate, and Heaven is won.

In Heaven, we’ll be in the Presence of God,
Such a beautiful place, and so very broad.
To be even the least, will be a great thing,
For all will be great, and to God we will sing.

To get to Heav’n, turn right ans keep going straight,
Try your very best, Jesus to imitate.
Only Christ gives the passport, to Heaven’s land,
Just trust and accept Him, take Him by the Hand.

THERE ARE TWO ROADS

There are two roads, which one will you take?
It’s a decision, ev’ry one must make.
The choice, is completely up to you,
But the Lord really does care, what you do.

There are two roads, one narrow, one wide,
Which one will you take, as thru’ life you stride?
The narrow one, is harder to stay on,
The wide one leads you away, from God’s Son.

The strait, narrow road, to Heaven will lead,
As with Christ you walk, and to Him you heed.
That big, broad road is easier, ‘tis true,
But on that road, Satan will walk with you.

Which road will you take? there are only two,
Look carefully, from eternity’s view.
The small road takes you, where the Lord resides,
The broad road goes, to where Satan will abide.

Consider carefully, the choice you make,
It’s either Heaven, or the Fiery Lake.
Heaven will be total comfort and peace,
Hell will be agony, with no release.

Think About

Think about Christ Jesus, crucified,
‘Bout the “few” who Him, have not denied.
Think about God’s love, for you and me,
And ‘bout where you’ll spend eternity.

Think ‘bout the many, on Hell’s broad path,
Their unbelief brings God's Holy Wrath.
So few, about eternity think.
That’s why so many, stand on Hell’s brink.

Think about life’s many diff’rent paths,
Then think about our God’s holy wrath.
Millions never think of Judgment Day,
They just keep trav’ling, down the wrong way.

Think about all the world’s wickedness,
Then think about God’s love and goodness.
There are just two roads in life today,
One leads to Heav’n, the other Hell’s way.

Think ‘bout where you’ll spend eternity,
Think ‘bout Hell’s eternal agony.
Then think ‘bout Heav’n’s eternal bliss,
What could ever be better than this?

God allows us freedom to decide,
It is our choice where we will reside.
But when our life on this Earth is thru,
There will be no more choices for you.

Think about these words that I have said,
My friend, Hell will be eternal dread.
This life on Earth is where we decide,
The eternal place where we’ll reside.

As long as you are still alive, you can make Heaven your eternal destination. After physical death, it will be too late . . . no matter what "religions" may teach. I teach the Bible and it clearly states after death, then judgment! NO one can "pray" you into Heaven! That false doctrine gives people hope that is not there! There is NO purgatory!!!

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (KJV) Also see: Luke 16:19-31; Eccles.12:7

Verses Only For Believers

Some verses belong, just to those who believe,
Like I will never forsake, nor ever leave.
He speaks these comforting words, just to His own,
Leading and guiding us, as right roads are shown.

All things work together for good, says His Word,
But you must read on: “To those who love the Lord.”
This great Promise to His children, God makes,
He’ll never abandon us, nor ever forsake.

Jesus tells us “I go to prepare a place,
And one day true believers, will see His Face.
He’ll come and call us, to our “mansion” on high,
For all true believers, on Christ can rely.

Come unto Me, and I will give you rest,”
For He gives all God’s children, only His best.
But unbelievers want no part of Him,
So their eternal future is very grim.

With God we have peace, we’re justified by faith,
We have serenity within, with ev’ry breath.
We are no longer our great God’s enemy,
We’re reconciled to Him for eternity.

We have a God of hope, who fills us with joy,
Hope that abounds, and will not be destroyed.
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven,
And love that abounds more and more, to us is giv’n.

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you ,
Through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus too.
What love the Father hath bestowed upon us,
That He calls us His children, e’er so precious.

What I Have In Christ

In life I have, His grace to keep me,
And He bestows it, abundantly.
His wondrous wisdom is there to guide,
I need only ask, and He will provide.

His awesome strength, does always sustain,
Tho’ I stumble, His Hand will remain.
For His e’er seeing eye, watches o’er me,
And o’er Satan, I have victory.

Lis’ning to me, is His e’er hearing ear,
As He comforts, encourages and cheers.
His mighty Hand, truly does uphold,
My Shepherd keeps me safe, in the fold.

His Word does instruct, admonish and teach,
Thru’ it my heart and soul, He does reach.
His grand angels, minister to me,
As I journey on to eternity.

My majestic God I have always,
And He shall be with me, all my days.
My Lord does so v’ry much for me,
I have Him now, and for all eternity.

WHAT WE HAVE IN CHRIST

A love that no one can understand,
We hold close in our heart, soul and hand.
A life in which we can never die,
When on our Saviour we do rely.

A righteousness that can’t be unclear,
Coming from Christ, and won’t disappear.
A peace that will never go away,
Given to us freely ev’ry day.

A rest that can never be discontent,
Blessings from Christ are never deficient.
A joy that will never discontinue,
For Christ’s joy remains in me and you.

A hope that can never be displac’d,
As we look to the day we see His Face.
A light within that will never dim,
It shines brightly as it comes from Him.

A happiness that can never be sad,
Contentment just from Christ can be had.
A strength that can never be frail,
The pow’r of Jesus will never fail.

A purity that can ne’er be defil’d,
Because Christ made us the Father’s child.
A wisdom that no one can confuse,
That thru’ this life on Earth, we can use.

We’re headed for Heav’n, where life ne’er ends,
We’ll live with our Saviour, Lord and Friend.
He will take care of us for e’er more,
For Christ has open’d for us Heav’n’s door.

WHAT WILL HEAVEN BE LIKE?

There’ll be no separation or turmoil,
Satan no longer our efforts shall foil.
There’ll be no mourning when a lov’d one dies,
For there’ll be no more death in Heav’n on high.

There’ll be no more sorrow, crying, nor pain,
And of that blissful life, there’ll be no wane.
On and on, for e’er, into eternity,
I pray that Heav’n shall be your destiny.

There’ll be no more hunger, nor any thirst,
God will see to it that we all come first.
There’ll be no wants nor desires of any kind,
I don’t know ‘bout you, but this baffles my mind!

There’ll never be fear, if you’re close or far,
Not like this Earth; many fears so do mar.
He will keep and protect us, forever,
Nothing at all from God will us sever.

There’ll be no more curse God put on the ground,
Anything we do will simply abound.
There shall not be any wickedness there,
You’ll not find any sinners, anywhere!

There’ll be no more sin in our Heav’nly Home,
And you’ll not turn your back on Him, e’er roam.
Christ has made all God’s children just and right,
And there’ll be no options to reach Heav’n bright.

There shall be no night in this blissful place,
All darkness is gone, thanks be to His grace.
There’ll be no candle, nor light of the sun,
Just the presence of Christ, the Light of God’s Son!

WHAT WILL HELL BE LIKE?

Hell will be a prison of darkest despair,
There are so many things that will be there.
A lake of fire and brimstone, that there will be,
The judgment of God, and His final decree.

There will be suffering that’s not met its match,
Such pain and agony, and no gate with a latch.
Weeping and wailing, and gnawing of tongues,
Memory and remorse, have all just begun.

The fearful and unbelievers, and all liars,
All these will have their part, in the lake of fire.
The abominable, and all who hate God,
All who reject Christ, while on Earth they trod.

Then too, there are some things that will not be there,
Because Hell is a prison of dark despair.
No beautiful flowers on the banks of Hell,
None of the wonders of nature, we love so well.

No comforts of our home, no music, no song,
No friendship, no joy, and no peace in that throng.
No fam’ly gath’rings with laughter so bright,
No love and no smiles, and not one bit of light.

No more of God’s mercy, compassion or grace,
No pity, no water, --- what a terrible place!
One other thing that there simply will not be,
None of God’s children, for Christ has set us free.

These are just a few things, to ponder upon,
I pray you won’t wait long, to accept God’s Son.
Christ is the only One, that can save your soul,
And only He can place your name, on Heav’n’s roll.

WHAT WILL I SAY???

What will I say, to the Almighty Judge?
When on His decisions, He won’t budge?
I can beg and cry, and for mercy plead,
But it’ll be too late, my words He won’t heed.

Just what will I say, at the Judgment Seat?
When the All-knowing Judge I finally meet?
I know He’ll have records of all I’ve done,
I won’t put anything o’er, God’s own Son.

He’ll know about the things, I did not do,
And He’ll know about, the wrongs I did too.
Rewards or loss of rewards, will come my way,
As I consider this, what will I say?

I must NOW really think, of how I live,
I must confess my sins, so God can forgive.
I must walk with Christ, on the narrow path,
I must live righteous, to avoid God’s wrath.

NOW is when I should think, of the Judgment Seat,
For one day soon, the Great Judge I’ll meet.
Will He be pleased, with my service to Him?
What will I say, on this day O so grim?

I will be judged, on all works I have done,
When I come Face to face, with God’s own Son.
All His judgments will be righteous and just,
What will I say, to my Lord whom I trust?

Soon in the future, will come Judgment Day,
I have no idea, of what I will say.
I look to this day with uneasiness,
I must live my life, so my Lord will bless.

(KJV) Rev. 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (KJV)

WHAT WILL I SAY???

WHO SHALL DWELL WITH THEE

Lord, who shall dwell in Thy Holy Hill?
Just those who love You, and do Your will.
Lord, You clearly state who that will be,
Your Holy Book tells us, so clearly!

We must walk uprightly, on our path,
If we are to avoid, Your righteous wrath.
We must work righteousness, as we go,
Or Your displeasure, will cause us sorrow.

We must speak the Truth, we must not lie,
Or on Your blessings, we cannot rely.
Our tongue must not blaspheme, or backbite,
Our speech should always, be good and upright.

To our neighbor, we must do no wrong,
O Lord, Your Words on this, are quite strong.
We must not take reproach, to those around,
If we want Your blessings to abound.

Contemned is a vile person, in Your eyes,
Only Jesus, can ev’r make them wise.
Lord, You honor all those, that fear you,
Trust and obey, is what we should do!

WILL I KNOW HIM?

Will I know Him, when He comes in the clouds?
Will I know His Voice, booming clear and loud?
I’ll know Him! for His Spirit shall reveal,
My awesome Saviour, who is so real!

Will I know Christ at the Judgment Seat?
In this approaching time, when Him I meet?
I’ll know Him! and know His judgment is right,
And Jesus shall grant me a garment of white!

Will I know Christ as He sits on that Throne?
Will I lose crowns, that could have been my own?
I’ll know Him! and know there’s no mistake,
For I’ll live for e’er, with judgments He makes.

Will I know Christ in that City of Gold?
Will I have regrets, as His Face I behold?
I’ll know Him! I’ll know that precious Face,
And I’ll know I’m there, just by His grace!

I will know my Saviour, instantly!
And I’ll praise and thank Him eternally!
I’ll fall to the ground, and kiss His Feet,
When my awesome Lord, I finally meet!

Yes, yes, yes! I’ll know Him!

WITHOUT CHRIST

Without Jesus, you have no hope,
Friend, you’re at the end of your rope!
Eternal life is far away,
And Satan’s call you do obey.

Without Christ, you do not have God,
No matter who, the world abroad.
The pits of Hell beckon to you,
As on this Earth you do pass thru’.

Without Jesus, you go with the world,
Accepting temptations Satan hurls.
Chasing evil passions and thoughts,
Not doing the things that you ought.

Without Christ, you’re under God’s curse,
In all your sin, you are emersed.
Condemned, because of your sin,
Hell is open wide, to accept you in.

Without Jesus, you’re God’s enemy,
A slave to Satan, never free.
God’s final wrath will fall on you,
Hell’s the verdict; God won’t rescue!

You can have Jesus, this very day!
Just BELIEVE all God has to say.
Jesus can save your soul from Hell,
And in Heav’n with Him, you will dwell!

WONDERFUL HEAVEN

The best life possible, here on Earth,
In Heaven would be, simply no worth.
It surely would  be sheer misery,
In blissful Heaven’s eternity.

Earth’s greatest riches cannot compare,
To the glory of Heaven, as God’s heir.
God’s children will live in Heav’n on high,
He shall dwell with us, in the by and by.

Delightful comfort, here in this place,
Would be agony, when we see His Face.
Any happiness that we now know,
Would in Heaven, be a drear shadow.

The greatest joy ever known to man,
Would be just sorrow, in Heaven’s span.
Life here on this Earth cannot compare,
To life with Jesus, in Heaven’s fare.

Heaven is too wonderful for words,
‘Tis the Home of our glorious Lord.
We can’t imagine Heaven’s beauty,
It’s there, we will live eternally.

If you know Jesus as Saviour and Lord,
Heav’n is yours, according to His Word.
Contentment, peace, joy, and perfect rest,
All wait in Heav’n, for God gives His best.

You Search Me And Know Me

Lord, You search me, and know me completely,
When I sit, and when I rise, You do see.
From afar off, my thoughts You understand,
Whether I’m home, or in a distant land.

You chart my path, and You know all my ways,
You see me lie down, after a hard day.
The words on my tongue, You know ev’ry one,
You know what I’ll say, ev’n ‘fore I’ve begun.

You protect me Lord, in front and behind,
You lay Your Hand on me, ev’r so kind.
To know this, is so wonderful for me,
And Your lovingkindness, is always free.

From Your awesome Presence, I cannot flee,
You are always there, taking care of me.
No matter where I go, You are always there,
What an awesome privilege, my Father cares.

Darkness can’t hide me; not the blackest night,
Ev’n the darkest night is as broad daylight.
Darkness and light are both alike to Thee,
I’m truly grateful, that You watch ov’r me.

How precious are Thy thoughts, the sum so great,
And all of them Lord, I appreciate.
I’m still with You, ev’ry time I awake,
O Lord, I’m so grateful, for my soul’s sake.

Search me, O God, and know all in my heart.
Try me, and know my thoughts, please don’t depart.
See if there be any wicked way in me,
Lead me O Lord, to life eternally.

Your Mansion

Will your mansion in Heav’n, be bigger than mine?
Will it be furnish’d, with luxuries so fine?
Will it shine so bright, by the street of pure gold?
As the glory of Jesus, you behold?

If my dwelling place were small, I’d care not,
I’m so grateful for this place, Jesus has bought!
A tiny cottage, on a side street would be great,
For all Christ Jesus has done, I appreciate!

What an awesome Saviour we have, He paid our price,
Went to the cross for us, was our Sacrifice!
He redeemed us, with His wondrous, precious Blood,
Privileged we are, for that sacrificial Flood!

Don’t worry ‘bout how big, your mansion will be,
Christ will rightly provide, for you and for me!
On that old rugged cross, Jesus took our place,
So that one, sweet day, we’ll see, His Holy Face!

Our mansion in Heav’n, Jesus controls the size,
Who are we, that we should ever criticize!
A small cabin, in a place out of the way,
Would be all right with me, on that special day!

I’m not worthy, nor want, fancy luxuries,
I want just to serve Him, for eternity!
The dwelling place for me, that Christ shall provide,
I’ll gladly accept, and for e’er, there reside!

You Ain’t Got A Chance

Without Jesus, you ain’t got a chance,
For in the Lake of Fire, you shall prance!
Without Christ, you CANNOT avoid Hell,
It’s for certain, there you shall dwell!

You ain’t got a chance, without the Lord,
It’s so plainly stated, in His Word.
Christ is the only One, with a key,
To Heaven, and life eternally!

You ain’t got a chance, no how, no way,
To reach Heaven’s gate, on any day!
You must have Christ Jesus, in your heart,
No other way, will Satan depart!

You ain’t got a chance, to reach Heaven’s shore,
Unless Jesus, you truly adore!
There is no other name, God has given,
That anyone could call on, to reach Heaven!

We ain’t got a chance, not you, not me,
We must have Christ, to live eternally!

Just Jesus can save us, with His love.
