Fear of God, Reverence

When I looked over all the topics I had listed in the Evangelical Poetry Categories, I saw there was none on the Fear of God. When I checked to see how many poems there were on the ‘Fear of God’, I saw that there were very few . . . but, there are so many that could be placed in this topic. So I am bringing them to you, plus a new one the the Lord just gave me.

So many people really do NOT fully understand just WHAT the ‘Fear of God?’ is. So, I am going to tell you what it is. In addition, I will bring you multiple Scriptures on the subject. The fear of God is a very serious subject in the Eyes of God!

Different Kinds of Fear, God Delivers Us From:
#1. Fear of man.
Gen. 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. (KJV)
Gen. 26:24 And the LORD appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham's sake. (KJV)
Deut. 3:22 Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you. (KJV)
Deut. 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. (KJV)
Joshua 10:25 And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight. (KJV)
Psalm 56:4  In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. (KJV)
Psalm 118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? (KJV)
Hebrews 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. (KJV)

Fear of God is referred multiple times in the Bible. We are to respect,
reverence and honor God, and have no fear of man. We are told multiple
times NOT to fear, meaning fears should not distress anyone who trusts in God.

#2. Death
Gen. 21:1 And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. (KJV)
Gen. 35:17 And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also. (KJV)
Psalm 33:19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. (KJV)
Heb. 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (KJV)

Before I opened the door of my heart to Jesus (Rev.3:20), I was terrified of death. When Jesus came into my life, fear went out!

#3. The future
Gen. 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. (KJV)
Gen. 46:3 And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation: (KJV)
Deut. 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. (KJV)

Since He will never leave or forsake us when we fear Him (Heb.13:5), we should have no fear of the future.

#4. Danger
Exo. 14:13  And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
Jer. 20:10-21 For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him. 11  But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten. (KJV)

No matter what comes our way, God will see us through (Ps.91:9-11) when we fear Him.

#5. Idolatry
Exo 20:2-3  I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. (KJV)
Judges 6:10  And I said unto you, I am the LORD your God; fear not the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but ye have not obeyed my voice. (KJV)
2 Kings 17:35-38 With whom the LORD had made a covenant, and charged them, saying, Ye shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them: 36 But the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him shall ye do sacrifice.37 And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods. 38 And the covenant that I have made with you ye shall not forget; neither shall ye fear other gods. (KJV)

Cults are notorious for idolatry! (Ex.20:3-4) BEWARE!!!
They worship “another Jesus” and preach “another gospel (2 Cor.11:4; Gal.1:7-8).

#6. Evil, wickedness:
Psalm 23:4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. (KJV)
Psalm 3:6  I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. (KJV)
Psalm 27:1-3 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. (KJV)
Psalm 46:2-3 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. (KJV)

When we fear God, we have victory over Satan and all wickedness (1 Cor.15:57; 1 Jn.5:4).

#7. War
Psalm 27:3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. (KJV)
Isaiah 41:11-13 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. 12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. 13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. (KJV)
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. (KJV)

When we fear God, He keeps us safe from any that rise against us.

#8. Imagined fear
Psalm 2:4-5 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. (KJV)
Psalm 53:5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them. (KJV)
Psalm 59:8 But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision. (KJV)

When we fear God, we need not worry about something that may never happen.

#9. Enemies
(KJV)

#10. Punishment to those who do NOT fear the Lord!
Proverbs 1:24-30 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; 25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; 27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: 29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: 30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. The fear of God involves a deep respect to God because we are aware that He is this awesome and majestic Person.
The fear of God is the opposite of a cringing, anxious dread or a constant guilt because of a wrong relationship God (Gen.3:10).
Biblical fear of God unites God’s love and with our love to Him, and is a respectful love holds God in high regard. The fear of God is “the beginning of knowledge” (Pro.1:7). Anyone who fears God takes His Person and His Holiness very seriously, and so has a hatred toward sin and everything that oppose God’s character (Pro.16:6). Humble service to God is motivated by God’s great work for His people (1 Sam.12:24), while disrespect to God leads to disrespect for fellow men.

God’s children have access, to His blessings,
Jesus blesses us, with so many things.
Redemption, atonement, justification,
And best of all, eternal salvation.

God’s children can access, His awesome love,
Which He dispenses to us, from above.
God loves us so much, He sent His Son,
But the world turns its back, and Him they shun.

God’s children can constantly, access His grace,
For we all need it, as we run our race.
His Throne of Grace is open, to you and me,
As we walk the road, to eternity.

God’s children, His forgiveness can access,
Because of Christ Jesus’, righteousness.
Our sins are cast, to the bottom of the sea,
When confession is sincere, in our plea.

God’s children have access, to His mercy,
Judgment is always done, compassionately.
Our Father will always treat us, fair and right,
For His children to Him, are a delight.

Do NOT be ashamed of Jesus, do NOT be offended by Jesus: (Mat.5:29-30; 11:6; 13:21, 41, 57; 15:12; 17:27; 18:6,8,9; 24:10; 26:31; Mk.4:17; 6:3; 9:42,43,45,47; 14:29; Lk.7:23; 17:2; Jn.6:61; 16:1)

Become God’s child today: (John 1:12-13; 3:3-8, 15-8, 36; 5:24; 8:24; 1 John 5:10-13). We must NOT be ashamed of Jesus, but instead reverence Him!

A child of wisdom, has security,
Which comes from Jesus, when He sets us free.
Faith is the one key, that opens the door,
To all the blessings, God holds in store.

I was a fool, for many, many years,
Struggling alone, with my troubles and fears.
The grand love of God, I did not accept,
And the Spirit’s urging, I did reject.

Then again one day, I heard Jesus knock,
But this time, my heart’s door I did unlock.
In my life, there was a drastic change,
Christ Jesus, my whole life, did re-arrange.

The wicked devil’s child, I’ll be no more,
For being God’s child, holds great things in store.
Such abundant blessings, that have no end,
And security, knowing I’m God’s friend.

I’m God’s child, I’m spiritually re-born,
One day, a crown of glory I’ll adorn.
A child of wisdom, is a child of God,
Wise enough to stay off, that road so broad.

A child of the King; a blessing indeed,
We’re wise, when to the Gospel, we pay heed.
And Jesus has the key, to our mansion above,
Where eternity will be, peace and love.

He has a loving Eye, that never sleeps,
Our precious Jesus does tenderly keep!
He watches over us, each day and night,
No matter our trouble, no matter our plight.

He has a loving Ear, that never turns away,
Wide open, to hear our prayers night or day!
He willingly waits for His children to come,
Then sends us His love, comfort, and wisdom!

He has a loving Arm, that is never weary,
He wants to help us, our load to help us carry.
He picks us up when we stumble and fall,
Our loving Lord is at our beck and call!

He has a loving Heart, gentle and warm,
Helping us thru’ life’s turbulent storms!
Care, concern, compassion, and forgiving too,
Such tremendous love, blesses me and you!

Belief can be a miracle, true,
A miracle, that can happen to you.
It can change your life spectacularly,
Belief gives you life, eternally!

Believing God can erase all sins,
A miracle; that with faith, begins!
We are justified, by Christ’s precious Blood,
‘Not Guilty’ in Heav’n, by this wondrous Flood!

Belief; a miracle, that sanctifies,
By trusting His Word, that never lies!
Set apart to serve our awesome Lord,
Spreading the Gospel set forth in His Word!

Belief; a miracle, that gives a new heart,
A ‘new’ creature, with a brand new start.
Children of God, and with Christ joint heirs,
One day the bliss of Heav’n with God we’ll share.

Believing is a miracle; true,
This miracle can happen to you!
Receiving Jesus makes you God’s child,
From Hell, you will always be exiled!

Salvation is a ‘Gift’ God gives to you,
A miracle; reserved for a ‘few’.
But most, by unbelief walk away,
From the greatest miracle to come our way!

Do you reverence God for this awesome Gift?

All those that you love will so weep when you go,
Your dear ones will sure miss you, and rightly so.
The teary faces that mourn, you will not see,
A moment after you die, where will you be?

All the voices around simply won't reach you,
And the grief that they bear, you will not construe.
You have a soul, do you know where it will go
A moment after you die, Heav'n OR below ?

In your life, earthly treasures did you reap?
Not looking ahead when your body would sleep?
Consider eternity, looming ahead,
It will be too late when your body is dead!

You shall reap what you sow, there's no turning back,
Did you choose your goal, are you on the right track ?
There's two places; Hell below, Heav'n in the sky,
Where will you be, a moment after you die ?

Did you ever feel a sharp tug at your heart ?
Yet stifle that feeling, and from it depart ?
O, this is God, simply trying to reach you,
A moment after you die, He won't rescue.

Eternity is l-o-n-g, consider this fact,
I really pray that you, Heaven will attract.
But if you don't listen to God's Holy Word,
A moment after you die, Heav'n is barred.

Don't let Christ pass you by; He can save your soul,
Just trust and accept Him, He will take control.
And you won't have to worry ever again,
For the moment you die, with Him you'll remain!

A PRIVILEGE . . . May 2003 Message

A wondrous privilege, is that of prayer,
For Almighty God, truly does care!
God wants His children, in Him to abide,
Communication lines, are open wide!

Prayer can bring us instant relief,
For God can remove our sorrow and grief!
Prayer can remove our anxiety,
From all our worries, we can be free!

When we ‘talk’ to God, fear goes away,
Be it the night, morning, or mid-day!
To go to God in daily prayers,
Will help greatly, to dissolve your cares!

We can access God, in the night so still,
Great comfort from Him, your heart will fill!
We can go to Him in broad daylight,
Just He can chase away ling’ring fright!

When problems come up, I can’t solve alone,
Prayer helps the answer be clearly shown!
When I feel lost, and helpless and weak,
It’s a privilege, that to God I can speak!

When all my strength seems to dissipate,
He gives me pow’r, I can’t duplicate!
When all that I do just seems to fail,
His love and wisdom always prevails!

If you face a day that seems hopeless,
Go to God in prayer, and He will bless!
Don’t go it alone, or you will fall,
Use the privilege of prayer; and on God call!

Fear of God gives us the privilege to access Him in prayer.

As you consider the day ahead,
Are you filled with joy, or is it dread?
Are you content, and have peace inside?
Or does worry and doubt, within you reside?

There’s a Special Someone, who can aid,
He can calm your fears, when you’re afraid.
He can bring great joy into your soul,
Just submit to Christ, give Him control.

He can help remove sorrow and pain,
And your heart will sing, a glorious refrain.
He can ease life’s turbulence and stress,
This Special Someone, can truly bless.

Anxiety leaves, calm comes to your soul,
When you submit to Christ, He takes control.
When you commit your heart and life to Him,
The troubles you had, seem O' so dim!

A still, small Voice warns me when I sin,
Helps me resist, when trouble begins.
Tho’ Satan tempts with troubles galore,
A still, small Voice, my hopes restore!

A still, small Voice tells which roads to take,
When I obey, I make no mistake.
In life’s hard journey, I need a Guide,
This Voice advises, with Christ to abide!

A still, small Voice helps me run my race,
And tells me one day I’ll see His Face!
It tells me that I should persevere,
For my wondrous Lord is always near!

A still, small Voice impresses upon me,
Just thru’ Christ can I have victory.
For the Blood of Jesus justifies,
And that still, small Voice never lies!

A still, small Voice tells me I’m Heav’n bound,
This Voice to me, is the sweetest sound!
With Jesus, I’ll spend eternity,
And this will be bliss and ecstasy!

Abiding power is continual to those who fear God.

Our heart must be the agent when we pray,
We must be sincere; there’s no other way.
Prayer is lifting up your heart to Him,
Words without heart is abomination.

God is the only object when we pray,
Those self-sufficient don’t need it, or care.
To the Father, thru’ Christ, we have access,
Only thru’ His Son, will the Father bless.

Prayer should be a constant exercise,
It’s not of the foolish, but of the wise.
Prayer moves the Hand that moves ev’ry thing,
So important, for it brings His blessings.

Prayer is something we should cultivate,
Continue in it; no matter our state.
By faith, look for answers to your prayers,
For God really loves you, He really cares.

Access to the Father can be direct,
But God’s own Son we must not reject.
Only Christ Jesus can justify,
On His love and mercy we can rely.

By faith are we saved, thru’ God’s grace,
All our wicked sins God does erase.
We are no longer God’s enemy,
We’re now His children, you and me!

We now have access to God’s great throne,
For Christ’s precious Blood did atone.
Direct access to God, day or night,
No matter our problem, or our plight.

To God, we have unlimited access,
He’ll answer our prayers, and He’ll bless.
Only Christ, this access can provide,
When in His vast power we do confide.

To God’s great throne you can have access,
And God will daily, abundantly bless!
Into God’s presence, by Christ alone,
In the Word of God, this is plainly shown!

Unlimited access to God’s Throne of grace when we fear God!

I dread the destiny of lost souls,
All whose names are not on Heaven’s roll.
They’ll ALL stand before the ‘Great White Throne’,
For they did not accept God’s ‘Way’ to atone.

Payday will come, for one and for all,
For they refused Christ when He did call.
God’s ‘Books’ will be opened on that ‘Day’,
Not one will be able to run away!

Your turn will come; you can count on it!
And the ‘Righteous Judge’ will not acquit.
He will judge all your sin righteously,
You’re condemned to Hell, for eternity.

The ‘Righteous Judge’, our Saviour and Lord,
Will ask why you turned from His Word.
The greatest sin of ALL these ones,
Is unbelief, and rejecting God’s Son.

I hate to think of the ‘Judgment Day’,
And all lost souls who would not obey.
Ev’ry one of them is doomed to Hell,
In agony and remorse, they will dwell.

O’, please dear friend, as you read these words,
I pray you have trusted Christ as Lord.
He’s the ONLY ‘ONE’ who can save you,
Believe and accept; He will rescue!

You’re condemned; you will be Hell bound.

THE ‘BOOK OF LIFE’ . . . June 2013 Message

In the “Book of Life”, your name must be,
To have life in Heaven, eternally.
Many will ask, “Do I qualify?”
Yes, if you accept Christ, and on Him rely.

Do you truly believe, what God does say?
Millions do not, and go their own way.
God gave us the Bible, as a Guide,
To rightly lead us, where we can reside.

God is a God of Truth, He does not lie,
On Him and His Word, we must rely.
Wisdom can be found, only in His Word,
‘Tis a fool who turns his back, on the Lord.

God loves us, and wants us as His own,
That’s why in the Bible, the Way is shown.
We must be born, into God’s family,
Or we’ll never have life, eternally.

Are you wise, or are you a fool this day?
Are you on the narrow, or the broad way?
Only two roads lead, to eternity,
You choose: Heaven’s bliss, or Hell’s agony.

In the Book of Life, if your name is there,
All with the Lord Jesus, one day we’ll share.
But we must believe God, and Him obey,
Believe the Bible, there’s no other way.

DISHONORING CHRIST . . . Oct.2002 Message

To dishonor Christ, is worse than death,
Let me think of this, as I take each breath.
I pray His Name I’ll never disgrace,
Or His precious Sacrifice, ever debase.

I pray I’ll never disgrace His Name,
And that I never bring Jesus shame.
Let me not be ashamed of my King,
I want not any reproach to bring.

I pray I’ll never my Saviour deny,
That would be worse than if I would die.
Let me not discourage others, I pray,
But make Jesus proud, each and ev’ry day.

To dishonor Christ is an awful sin,
With God the Father, you cannot win.
Let me never use His Name in vain,
I pray I never bring my Saviour shame.

Let me never dishonor my Lord,
I should walk with Him in willing accord.
I pray for wisdom to live in His Light,
Dishonoring Christ, is a fearful plight.

To dishonor Christ, will judgment bring,
For God thinks, it’s a horrible thing.
We should never bring our Saviour shame,
Instead we should honor and praise His Name.

To dishonor Christ, is worse than death! BEWARE!!!

Doing God’s will is simply pleasing Him,
Honor Him! let worldly things be dim.
We are to fear the Lord God always,
With reverence and awe, all our days.

We are to love God with all our heart,
From all evil and sin, we must depart.
Serve the Lord with all your heart and soul,
Remember always, He’s in control.

We are to walk in all His pure ways,
This is what He requires all our days.
Work no evil or ill to another,
Have mercy and love for your brother.

God wants the sacrifice of praise and love,
Always thank and praise our God above.
He blesses us daily in many ways,
All He asks, is for us to obey.

Do good, and to communicate, forget not,
For Christ on the Cross, our soul bought.
We must tell others, just Christ can save,
Without Jesus, they will be depraved.

Fear, love, and serve God; ‘tis our duty,
If we don’t, we are His enemy.
Always strive to do God’s will,
Please Him; your life He will bless and fill.

To fear (reverence), love, and serve God is our duty!

As I lay in my bed, in mid’ night,
He wakens me gently; ‘tis no fright.
The ‘words’ that He gives, dance thru’ my mind,
‘Words’ that without Him, I’d never find!

I cannot know why, He wants me to write,
But I have learned, God not to fight!
We all must serve Him willingly,
Or friend, we won’t ever be happy.

Commit your life to Him, all the way,
Do not hold ought back, do not sway.
Live life, with God in your heart’s first place,
And He will always, grant love and grace.

Submit to God; do only His will,
Ask Him, with His Spirit , you to fill.
Without His help, you’re sure to go wrong,
Only with Him, will you e’er be strong.

Turn yourself over to the Lord God,
Give Him only your best, as you trod.
Ask God to richly bless all that you do,
Glorify Him; He’ll bless, well, and true.

Each person must face reality,
Just where will you, spend eternity?
This life God gives, is where we decide,
Where in eternity, we’ll abide.

A free will is something, God does give,
When He created us, this life to live.
A blessing or curse, it can be for you,
It depends on how, God’s Word you view.

God made you, that with Him you could abide,
But you must trust Him, and let Him guide.
What you must do, He clearly tells,
Disobedience, will lead you to Hell.

God shows us two roads; you must decide,
Heaven or Hell, where will you abide?
The broad road goes to Hell, the small one Heav’n,
The choice to you, God has freely giv’n.

When you accept Christ, God smiles on you,
And you’re on that small road, chosen by few.
Rejecting God’s Son, you call Him a “Liar,”
You’re choosing the broad road that leads to Hell’s fire.

So many decisions, there are in life,
And all wrong choices lead to great strife.
The most important decision for you,
Believe God? Yes or no? What will you do?

John 1:12-13; 3:15-18, 36; 14:6; 5:24; 8:24; Acts 4:12; 1 John 5:10-12.
When you reject God’s Son, you call God a “Liar.”
BEWARE!!! Be wise! Fear God and worship Him for WHO He is!

Faith and obedience are tied in one,
Faith is the start, where it has all begun.
Obedience is close, ne’er out of sight,
We must trust AND obey, to win the fight!

Those without faith will never see Heaven,
Only with faith, is eternal life giv’n.
But once you trust Jesus to save your soul,
You must OBEY Him, or you are not whole.

If we trust Him, we obey; out of love,
We want to work and serve, our God above.
Faith without works is dead, being alone,
By our works, faith is proven; faith is shown!

(Mt.7:21-27; 12:50; Ac.5:29; Jn.14:15,23; Ro.10:17; Jam.2:17; 1 Jn.5:4)
Trust and obey God! Fear and reverence Him always!

Fools despise wisdom and instruction,
Their end will be eternal destruction.
Do you wish to find knowledge of God?
You must ‘fear the Lord’, the world abroad.

“Fear of the Lord, is to hate evil,”
Be righteous and just and do His will.
Pride, a froward mouth, and arrogancy,
These all will turn away God’s mercy!

The ‘fear of the Lord’ begins wisdom,
With awe, reverence; to Him we must come!
‘Fear of the Lord’ is humility,
For our pride makes us His enemy.

The Lord God is far from the wicked,
From all their prayer, He’s simply fled.
Even their thoughts are hated by Him,
But words of His children are ne’er dim!

Fools make a mock at sin, the world around,
But the righteous make a pleasant sound.
A fool’s lips are a snare for his soul,
A good man ‘fears’, for God’s in control!

Gambling With Your Soul

People gamble with their soul, every day,
They do their own thing, and go their own way.
They bristle up, if you mention the Lord,
And they don’t want to hear, God’s Holy Word!

You must not ever gamble, with your soul,
For when Judgment day comes, God’s in control!
When this life’s o’er, and it’s Heaven you desire,
To not obey God, brings you the Lake of Fire.

When gambling with your soul, the devil grins,
For the broad road you’re on, Hell’s gate you’ll win.
Gambling with your soul, is a tragedy,
You do NOT want, eternal agony!

Evil Satan will do, his utmost best,
Urging you to gamble, he gives no rest.
But gambling your soul, is a huge mistake,
You could find yourself, in Hell’s fiery lake!

Gambling with your soul, is when you won’t believe,
Rejection of Christ, nor His Work receive.
‘Tis turning your back, on God’s Holy Word,
And despising God’s Son. Jesus, our Lord!

Are you gambling, with your soul this v’ry day?
May I suggest, you go another way.
That broad road leads, where you want NOT to go,
Heaven should be your goal, NOT Hell below!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name
under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (KJV)
If you do not fear and reverence God,
you are gambling with your soul!

The gates of Heaven, or Hell’s fires,
Which of these two, is your desire?
Most folk have not thought much ‘bout this,
The terror of Hell, or Heaven’s bliss.

Most go thru’ life, not thinking of God,
Just their ev’ry day life, as they trod.
Just the comfort of each new day,
Is in their thoughts, as they go their way.

This Earth is not our perm’nent home,
We’re just pilgrims, as we do roam.
We’re given this time to decide,
Where for eternity, we’ll abide.

God does live in Heaven above,
Where there’s peace and joy, and great love.
Those gates of Heaven have just one key,
Christ Jesus, is His identity!

Without our Lord, there’s just Hell’s fires,
On your own, that’s what you’ll acquire.
Only Jesus has the power,
To deliver, at the right hour.

GOD Does NOT Make Little Promises . . . July 2015 Message

God has never, made a ‘little’ Promise,
And God has never, led anyone amiss.
The Promises God makes, are like pure gold,
They are great treasures, He will not withhold.

Such great treasures, that the world passes by,
They don’t consider, they could qualify.
Eternal life, in blissful Heav’n above,
Because God loves us, with tremendous love.

God forgives us, of all our horrid sins,
When we trust and accept Jesus, we win!
He remembers those sins, ne’er any more,
Cast in the sea, ne’er to wash up on shore.

God promises, ne’er to forsake or leave,
No matter our trouble, or when we grieve.
His Promise, I will be with you always,
From our youth to our old age, all our days.

There is no want, to them that fear the Lord,
Such a huge Promise, made clear in His Word.
When our mind is on God, He gives perfect peace,
Peace we can’t understand, that will not cease.

NO one can take us, once we’re in God’s Hand,
We’re safe on the way, to Glory Land.
His immense Promise, life eternally,
NO one can remove it, from you or me.

Not ev’n one ‘little’ Promise, does God make,
All are gigantic, like a huge earthquake!
His Promises are precious, and exceeding great,
Grab them for your own, before it’s too late.

Believe God, for He will do as he states,
Don’t let the devil, your life devastate,
Submit yourself to God, Satan will flee,
With Christ on your side, you’ll have victory!

God Is Good . . . To The Righteous

God is good, to those with a clean heart,
Let not my feet, from Your path depart.
I admit Lord, some times my steps slip,
Help me Lord, as I journey on my trip.

Those who are fools, let me not envy,
Nor lust for the wicked’s property.
Let not my pride, compass me like a chain,
And let me from all violence refrain.

The wicked’s eyes, are as an empty dish,
Ev’n tho’ they have more, than heart could wish.
Corrupt they are, speaking wickedly,
And of oppression, speak loftily.

Against the heavens, blasphemy they speak ,
Worldly pow’r and riches, is all they seek.
Humility, is something they know not,
For their sins, they think, they’ll ne’er be caught.

How? they say, does God know what I do?
Does He have knowledge of me, and you?
They pay Him no mind, as wealth they increase,
As their lust and greed, seem ne’er to cease.

So many shall be brought, to desolation,
As they continue on, in depravation.
The wicked’s image, God does despise,
Their evil works will bring on, their demise.

With Thy counsel and wisdom, guide me Lord,
Let me not stray, from You and Your Word.
Lord, Whom in Heaven have I, but Thee?
When I pass on, receive me to glory.

You are my strength, tho’ my heart and flesh fail,
Only with Thy pow’r, can I prevail.
You shall destroy those, who are far from Thee,
So I’ll trust You now, and thru’ eternity.

His loving goodness, I’ll never deny!

God takes care of me, for I am His child,
I’m part of His fam’ly, I’ll not be exiled.

Loving comfort I find, for He is near!

God's Books

What kind of books, does our awesome God keep?
Will things be read, that will make me weep?
Will secret things, be brought into plain view?
I think about these things, what about you?

I so oft wonder, about Judgment Day,
I wonder about things, Jesus will say.
My sins have been pardoned, this I know,
And Heaven is mine, not Hell below.

That Book of life, how many names are there?
Those who overcome, Christ, His glory shall share.
Christ shall proclaim, to His Father in Heav'n,
These in that book, to Christ Jesus were giv'n.

Judgment Day shall bring, all things into view,
All secrets shall be known, of both me and you.
It seems everything, that we do or say,
Is written in God's Books, for Judgment Day.

All the dead shall one day shall stand, 'fore God's throne,
And all we've ever done, shall be known.
We shall be judged, by things written in those books,
According to our works, naught will be mistook.

We shall account, for every idle word,
Justified or condemned, by the Lord.
God's Word is by which, Jesus shall judge by,
Did we accept His Word, or did we deny?

For bad works and for good, there must be books,
Judge Jesus shall simply, open and look.
With this in mind, we should pass our time in fear,
For we know not how soon, judgment is near.

God’s Throne of Grace

Thy Throne of Grace, is awesome indeed,
There for our access, each time we have need.
Made available, just thru’ our Lord,
Access is something, we all can afford.

Christ Jesus loved us, so very much,
Yet the hearts of most, He simply can’t touch.
Extremely stubborn, with hearts hard as stone,
Most don’t realize, just His Blood can atone.

To the cross He went, He was crucified,
Christ loved us so, on that cross He died.
Such a sacrifice, for us He made,
Our horrid sin debt, He completely paid.

Do you access, His awesome Throne of Grace?
Do it often, ‘tis a wondrous place!
Christ made it available, to you,
Do it often, if you’re one of the few.

Is the Lord Jesus, your Friend this day?
Have you allowed Him, your sin debt to pay?
Without Christ, anguish in Hell awaits,
You don’t want to go thru, that one way gate!

My friend, don’t reject the Saviour’s love,
Or you’ll ne’er see, Heaven’s beauty above!
You must trust Christ, to access God’s Throne,
Just faith in Jesus, your sins can atone.

We must fear the Lord God, revere Him always,
Give Him first place in our life, every day.
We must love Him, with all out heart, mind, and soul,
Submit your all in all, let Him take control.

Serve God in sincerity; always be true,
Cast away other gods, start your life anew.
Fear and obey God, ‘tis the duty of man,
It has always been this way, since time began.

If we love the Lord, with all that is within,
We will do our best, to turn away from sin.
‘Twill be many blessings, today and to come,
Then too, forever, in our eternal Home.

The sacrifice of praise is the best we can give,
And to obey His Words, that will let us live.
If we look to Christ, God’s one and only plan,
He’ll give us “LIFE”, He’s the only One who can!

If we trust and obey, we shall never die,
And when we get to Heav’n, we shall no more cry.
We must keep His Words, if we really love Him,
Then when we get to Heav’n, all else will be dim.

Delight in His will, hide His Word in your heart,
From all evil and wrong, and Satan depart.
Lord, we need your help, if these things we will do,
Let your Spirit help us, be true unto you.

The sacrifice of praise is the best we can give!

To reject Christ Jesus, many choose,
But in the end, these people will lose.
God allows each of us to decide,
But access to Heaven will be denied.

God won’t stop you from going against His will,
As worldly pleasures and lusts you fill.
As your independence from Him, you declare,
You walk away from His love and care.

To rebellious choices, you can be a slave,
As you allow Satan your life to deprave.
The world presents many sinful life-styles,
Ungodly values, that only defile.

God opposes wrong beliefs and attitudes,
Don’t go against God’s will, or with Him you feud.
Sin causes harm, what e’er it may be,
It hurts you now, and for eternity.

Homosexuality is clearly sin,
With God it’s wrong, with Him you can’t win.
Surrender to God’s mercy and grace,
And your sins, He will completely erase.

Most people know when they do wrong,
But their lustful desires are e’er so strong.
Sin is dangerous, leading to death,
It’s against God’s will, brings on God’s wrath.

His Name is the Name of all Majesty,

As He hung on the cross, great love unfurl’d.

His Name is well known, in lands far and near,
Even devils know it, trembling in fear.
Yet our gracious Saviour shows how He cares,
He never forsakes, He’s always there.

His Name is on the lips of all His own,
And all who accept Him, His Blood atones.
Yet millions reject Him, and turn away,
He doesn’t come to their mind, any day.

His Name is Great Judge, just and almighty,
From His Presence that day, you cannot flee.
Yet most people stay on that Hell-bound path,
Not thinking that they will face His wrath.

His Name is the Name of all Majesty,
Christ Jesus whom God sent, for you and me.
Yet most won’t believe and trust in this Man,
God the Father’s only salvation Plan.

His Name is the sweetest name, any where,
This humble Jesus, who shows us He cares.
Turn to Him now, and on His Name believe,
And a mansion in Heav’n, you shall receive.

John 1:12-13; 3:3, 15-18, 36; 14:1-6; 1 John 5:10-12.
Fear Him, and on His Name believe!

Humility is perfect quietness of heart,
Either in a crowd, or ‘lone, set apart.
It ne’er expects anything, trusts God’s grace,
And is at perfect rest when no one does praise.

Does not e’er wonder why bad things do come,
It knows with God, we have a blessed home.
It can go in, shut the door; kneel and pray,
And have perfect peace the rest of the day.

A vast deep calm, perfect peace all the way,
When troubles or disappointments start the day.
At times I’m blamed or hated in life,
But God is on my side, I don’t have strife.

Humility is being docile and meek,
Characteristics of Christ, that we should seek!
We should submit to God’s wisdom and pow’r,
When we do, He is there for us, any hour1

Humility is strength under control,
And for God’s children, it should be their goal!
Cast off pride, for it makes you God’s enemy,
Meekness makes you God’s friend, for eternity!

I am never alone, I have no fear,
For my “Special Friend” is always near!
He will never forsake, nor ever leave,
A promise for ever, we should not grieve.

I am never alone, in day or night,
Jesus is near, taking up my plight.
When I walk thru’ darkness, He lights my way,
For He is my “Light”, for now, and alway.

I am never alone, when trials are great,
He is there to give grace; never to frustrate.
He really does know what we go thru’,
He loves us, He will come to our rescue.

I am never alone, when hate is there,
Hate is all around; hate is ev’ry where!
They hated Him, when He walked the land,
He knows how we feel, He will take our hand!

I am never alone, as I run my race,
He gives me His strength; He give me grace.
There is nothing more that I might ask,
He’s always there, in my every task.

I am never alone, ev’n when I die,
I’m certain He’s near; this I won’t deny.
My angels will carry me to my Home,
To be with God for e’er, ne’er more to roam!

I’d Rather . . . March 2012 Message

I’d rather serve my Master, and be at His Feet,
Than be a rich man, being served dainties so sweet.
We all have decisions, in this life to decide,
Will we serve the Lord in Heaven? . . . or in Hell reside?

I’d rather be a poor man, and the Lord believe,
Than be a rich man, and the devil’s lies receive.
Many choices stand before us, as this life we live,
It depends what we choose, on what place the Lord gives.

I’d rather follow Jesus, on the path of light,
Than traipse after Satan, on broad roads black as night.
The Lord will guide us, on those narrow roads so strait,
To keep following Satan, you decide your own fate.

I’d rather love the Lord, and be the Father’s child,
Than to listen to Satan, and from Heaven be exiled.
When you choose the devil, and all his wicked ways,
You’ll spend eternity in Hell, all of your days,

I’d rather obey God, and always do His will,
Than allow Satan, worldly desires to instill.
There are only two places, in eternity,
The Lake of Fire, OR Heaven’s amazing beauty.

I’d rather be a fool, in this world’s evil eyes,
Than be an unbeliever, who my God denies.
Choosing another god, is the wrong way to go,
It will lead just to Hell, and eternal sorrow.

I’d rather go to Heaven, and live with the Lord,
Spending ev’n one hour in Hell, I cannot afford.
Lord, help me always to choose, Your will and right paths,
For I ne’er want to face, the judgment of Your wrath.

I Know These Things . . . Feb.2006 Message

I know He loves me, and truly does care,
And is with me always, everywhere.
No mortal could e’er be such a friend.
He’ll be with me to my journey’s end.

I know He will never leave or forsake,
And He’ll stand by me, in my mistakes.
It’s such a comfort to know He’s near,
As He whispers to me “You need not fear.”

I know He loves me, for He cannot lie,
On His strength and wisdom, I can rely.
He forgives me when my sin I confess,
With His faithfulness, He does bless.

His grace is sufficient, for me always,
No matter the trouble of my days.
Pain or sickness, or deepest sorrow,
His love makes me see, a brighter tomorrow.

As I consider His great love for me,
He’ll be with me, thru’ eternity.
He prepares for me, a wondrous place,
And one day soon, I will see His Face.

As He sits on the Father’s right Hand,
He has power to control all the land.
Just He holds the key to Heav’n’s shore,
Where blissful delight will be in store.

As I wait for my mansion above,
I can envision His wondrous love.
I know all that He tells me is no lie,
And I know on Him I can fully rely.

I know He will never leave or forsake me, because I fear Him.

On the strait and narrow path, I must stay,
And my precious Lord, I must obey.
I must have close fellowship with Him,
Or my chance of Heav’n, is very dim.

I must consider, how others feel,
I must serve Jesus, with love and zeal.
Faith in my Saviour, must persevere,
If I am to feel, His Presence near.

I’ll stray from the narrow path, I know,
But with wisdom from Christ, back I’ll go!
Satan will tempt me, day after day,
I must trust Christ Jesus, all the way.

I must stay on that strait, narrow path,
If I am to avoid, the Father’s wrath.
I must stay away, from the broad road,
That leads to Satan’s fiery abode.

Most of the world, to the broad road flock,
But to them, the gates of Heav’n are lock’d.
The lone gate of Hell, will let them in,
For the God of wrath, condemns their sin.

Unbelief is a terrible thing,
Satan blinds the eyes, to God’s blessings.
Making folks think, the broad road is right,
Blindness keeps them off, the path of light.

Help me Lord, to stay on the narrow road,
That leads me to my eternal Home.
I must stay close to You, I must obey
I know dear Jesus, there’s no other way.

Satan blinds the eyes, to God’s blessings, BEWARE!!!

Father, I tend to minimize your majesty,
For I cannot comprehend Your purity.
Nor can I imagine Your wondrous compassion,
How You make me Your child and give me salvation.

Bringing You to my level, it seems I try to do,
Lord, let me remember, the awesomeness of You.
No one can compare, with the God of eternity,
Lord God, I want to be Your friend, not Your enemy.

Heavenly Father, I don’t fear You as I should,
I must reverence Your Presence, this must be understood.
Dear Lord I’m too casual, with how I feel about You,
Lord teach me to have more respect each day anew.

Most gracious Heavenly Father, I must love You more,
With ALL my heart, mind, soul and strength; You I must adore.
Lord, I fall short and Your commands I do not obey,
Help me Lord to love You, more and more each day.

Does anyone fear God as they should?

Lord, let me please You, in all that I do,
Grant me faith, for without it, I can’t please You!
Lord, let me fear You, revere You always,
For You will protect me, until that great day!

Lord, let me trust You, each step of the way,
If I rely on You, I shan’t go astray.
Lord, let me love You, as You love me,
Then some sweet day I’ll see You, for eternity!

Lord, let me obey You, each hour of the day,
Willingly, freely, and loving You always.
Lord, give me patience, my burdens to bear,
Let me remember, You really do care!

Lord, give me strength, as I go thru’ the day,
With You beside me, I can go the whole way.
Lord, give me contentment, don’t let me complain,
For godliness with contentment, is great gain!

Lord, give me peace, don’t let me stir up strife,
Grant me perfect peace, the rest of my life.
Lord, give me much joy, in all that I do,
And I’ll have eternal joy, thanks to You!

Lord, let me serve You, equip me to do so,
And keep me faithful and willing, as I go.
Lord, let me please You, in all that I do,
Grant me these blessings, to help me please You!

The Lord Must be First

I must love the Lord, more than any one,
More than my parents, my daughter or son.
More than my spouse, who is so dear to me,
Jesus says He must be first, I agree.

The Lord must be first, o’er everything,
If we want the Father’s, greatest blessings.
If we place anything, higher than He,
The Bible states we’ll face, Hell’s agony.

We must love Christ, more than silver or gold,
If we don’t, God’s rich blessings He’ll with hold.
Jesus must be first, over precious stones,
If we want to see Heaven, on our own.

Jesus must be first, over pow’r and fame,
And we must always, honor His great Name.
We must never curse Him, in blasphemy,
We must instead, consider eternity.

The Lord must be first by all, everywhere,
If they want to be under, God’s great care.
If they e’er want to see, Heaven above,
They must put Christ first, with heart-felt love.

Where does the Lord stand, in your life this day?
Is He Number One? Or is He far away?
Is Jesus ever so near, to your heart?
Be wise my friend, stay close, never depart!

My Soul Is In His Hands

I have a Friend, who takes care of me,
And He does it each day, lovingly.
My soul is in His capable Hands,
Faith in Him, is all He demands.

In His sufficient Hands, my soul does rest,
For He sees me thru’, my toughest test.
He’s always there, He’ll never forsake,
Of His love, I will gladly partake.

His kind and gentle Hands, support me,
When I stumble, and fall to my knees.
He’s there, when I fall flat on my face,
His Hands lift me up, with amazing grace.

His comforting Hands, give me great peace,
Any doubt and worry are released.
Wondrous contentment, He gives to me,
For my soul’s in His Hands, eternally.

In His mighty Hands, my longing soul rests,
For I know He’ll give me, His v’ry best.
The City of Gold, is awaiting me,
Where God’s children shall live, eternally.

My Soul is in His Hands, He qualifies,

My Soul is in His Hands when I fear and reverence Him!

My Strength and Wisdom

My strength is in, the One Who guides me,
And He empowers, eternally!
Strength to perform, things I could not do,
All because of my Saviour, so true!

My faith lies, in the One Who cannot lie,
As long as I, will never deny.
He’s the lone One, Who can save my soul,
So living for Him, should be my goal!

True love can come, only from above,
Ne’er from this vile world, of push and shove.
Love is a fruit, of the Spirit of God,
And with these fruits, is how we should trod!

Patience is something, that we all lack,
For this we need, the Spirit at our back!
A quick temper, is not a good thing,
Trouble and heartache, is all it brings!

Pride opposes, the meekness of the Lord,
Conceit is something, we can’t afford!
So grand to God, is humility,
As we walk on, to eternity!

Being gentle and good, pleases God,
But pretending these, surely is fraud!
In all we do, we must be sincere,
For the Lord God, is what we must fear!

Each of us could use, more self-control,
For few use it, as in life we stroll!
A bad temper will oft, cause us pain,
While the temperance of Christ, is great gain!

Daily troubles will not go away,
But Christ assists; He is my Stay!
Firmly He grasps my trembling hand,
With my Saviour, I’ll take my stand!

In deep, dark nights when I cannot see,
I have Christ there, walking with me!
By my trembling hand, He leads me on,
His brilliant Light, makes fear be gone!

In storms of life, with winds so wild,
Fiercely they blow, but I’m His child!
My trembling hand reaches for His pow’r,
He won’t forsake me, at any hour!

This life’s path, I know I must tread,
With Jesus near, I feel no dread!
‘Tis He that holds my trembling hand,
As I stumble thru’ this troubl’d land!

With my trembling hand, I’ll hold tight,
Securely gripping with all my might!
Christ will lead me to the Promis’d Land,
By my weak and frail, trembling hand!

There’s no closed door to God’s wondrous love,
It’s never ending and true, from above!
That love is there, for you and for me,
God gives thru’ Jesus, so abundantly!

There’s no lock on the door to God’s grace,
It’s always open, our sins to erase!
It’s available, to all who believe,
When God’s precious Son they do receive!

The door’s always open, to God’s mercy,
For our precious Saviour holds the ‘key.’
Only Christ can open that door so wide,
That we can access God’s mercy inside!

There’s no closed door to God’s wondrous Throne,
But we must access thru’ Jesus alone!
We can go to the Father, day or night,
And ask in pray’r that He aid in our plight.

The door to forgiveness is always open,
God forgives thru’ Christ, again and again!
We can go to God when we transgress,
Forgiveness is ours, as He does bless.

Christ Jesus has control of ev’ry door,
All are open to what God has in store.
But we must always trust and abide,
To receive the blessings God holds inside!

We as God’s children have so much to gain,
Awesome blessings thru’ Christ we can attain.
Jesus opens all the doors to God so wide,
And gives to us eternal life besides!

There are no closed doors to God’s wondrous love
when we fear and reverence Him.

NO Fear of God!! . . . April 2013 Message

The fear of God, is something people exclude,
Reverence, respect, obedience, we must include!
Yet in today's world, there is NO fear of the Lord,
They simply oppose Him, and twist His Holy Word.

The fear of God, must always take first place,
Neglecting this respect, you'll NOT see Jesus' Face!
We must fear God, both now and for e'er more,
If we e'er want to walk, on Heaven's wondrous shore!

God's Holy Book, always leads us in right paths,
But, when we don't fear Him, it brings down His wrath!
He wants His children, on the narrow and strait,
For just that road leads us, to Heaven's entrance gate!

With NO fear of God, Judgment Day will terrify!
Judge Jesus will cast you, into Hell's agony!
There you will remain, for all eternity,
The choice is yours: Hell OR Heaven's beauty!

Few in today's pulpits, teach the 'fear of God,'
Twisting, deceiving Truth, bringing it down to fraud.
NO reverence for God, leaves just one place to go,
Stay on the devil's road, and Hell you'll soon know!

People today, want only to hear good things,
They don't want to hear of sin, and what it brings!
So the "Word-Faith" heretics, kick it into gear,
Bringing the false garbage, people want to hear!

Man's vain doctrines, will NEVER save your soul,
Believe God, trust Christ, let Jesus have control!
Just Jesus can give you, life eternally,
Friend, believe it, or you'll get Hell's agony!

Praise the Lord, O my soul: and all that’s within me,
For He does certainly watch over me closely.
Praise and honor, be to His most holy Name,
For He and He alone, knows my humble frame.

Praise the Lord, and forget not all His benefits,
His mercy and compassion; they never quit!
Forgiving all our iniquities each day,
Every time we sin, or go out of His way!

He redeems our life, from destruction of Hell,
And reserves a place in Heav’n, for us to dwell!
O, He crowns us daily with lovingkindness,
Tender mercies flow, to take away stress.

Praise Him for providing our daily supplies,
And protection from danger, we can’t deny!
Renewing our strength every time we are weak,
Lifts us when we fall, puts is back on our feet!

Praise the Lord, O my soul: and all that’s within me,
For His mercy, grace, and love; all which are free!
All these are in abundance; He’ll not run out,
Just thinking of all this, makes me want to shout!

He does not always chide, or rebuke, or scold,
And He won’t let His children out in the cold.
He doesn’t hold grudges, like you and like me,
His anger is short lived; then it does flee!

We do need to praise Him for all He does do,
Casting our sins FAR away, for me and you!
He doesn’t reward us according to our sins,
Praise Him for that; for no one, Heaven could win!

Praise Him for blessings He gives each day,

Praise Him for strength when we’re low and weak,
For expelling pride, and making us meek.

Praise Him for His promises so great,
For His wondrous grace that we don’t rate.

Praising God comes naturally when we fear God.

Are you burden’d with a load of care?
Does life seem to give, more than you can bear?
Do you count blessings, or add up sorrows?
Do you worry ‘bout trials of tomorrow?

Do you e’er consider, blessings He gives?
Do you ponder His grace, each day you live?
Do you e’er think of all He does for you?
Don’t you know He’s faithful and always true?

Count all your blessings, name them one by one,
And soon you’ll be weighing them, ton by ton.
God is good to us in so many ways,
Blessings from Him ne’er cease, all our days.

We’ve been saved from Hell, by Christ Jesus’ death,
Shouldn’t we praise Him with our ev’ry breath?
But it’s sad; we fail to show our gratitude,
We all should be, living beatitudes.

Praise to our Lord should come naturally,
For all His blessings, and life eternally.
Let us all count our blessings, one by one,
Then gratefully thank and praise, God’s own Son!

Praising God comes naturally when we fear God.

“Praise ye the Lord, praise Him all ye lands,”
For He does hold us all in His hands.
God does love the ‘sacrifice of praise’,
The fruit of our lips, to Him we should raise.

Many blessings He gives ev’ry day,
The beauty of nature’s fine array.
Fam’ly and friends, and loved ones so dear,
All blessings from God, whom we should fear.

Praise Him for warm sunlight and the rain,
Without them, food crops would have no gain.
Praise Him for the strength He gives to you,
To overcome trials, none too few.

Praise Him for wisdom that comes from His Word,
To help us live life in full accord.
Praise Him for His Hand, there when we fall,
To lift us high even ‘fore we call.

“So will we render the calves of our lips,”
And be grateful for our close fellowship,
“Take with you words, and turn to the Lord,”
Repent; from your heart, take mournful words.

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,”
Be thankful, bless His Name; for He is “King”.
Sing in His presence, serve Him with gladness,
For ev’ry single day, the Lord does bless!

PRAISING GOD . . . Nov.1996 Message

Praising God creates humility,
Removes sinful pride, which is faulty.
My conceited ego flies away,
Giving room for meekness; a better way!

Praising God releases joy untold,
Joy that’s there always, to have and hold.
Joy unspeakable, and full of glory,
Now and for e’er, for eternity.

Praising God clears clutter from my mind,
Tensions are gone; worries are behind.
Calm and comfort, are freely given,
By our wondrous God high in Heaven.

Praising God casts out sin’s misery,
For when I repent, He forgives me.
When we confess our sins, one by one,
We’re cleansed by the Blood of God’s Son.

Praising God makes me want just His will,
I want to please Him, and good instill.
When His Spirit fills me to the brim,
The things of the world, grow very dim.

Praising God is an honor to me,
For He has given me victory.
Eternal life in Heaven above,
Thanks be to our Saviour’s precious love.

Praising God

When I praise God, Him it magnifies,
I think of His pow’r and abilities.
Not of any troubles of the day,
Nor pain or worry, that come my way.

When I praise God, it greatly humbles me,
Any pride or ego, simply flee.
Praising our God, brings honor His way,
It should be a part, of ev’ry day!

Devotion to Christ, my praise reveals,
Praising God, shows how I truly feel.
In my live, I must give Him first place,
As I walk with Him, in this life’s race!

Praising God urges me, to live right,
I desire to be holy, in His sight.
I try to do His will, above my own,
As Hs Spirit guides, things are made known.

When I praise God, my faith does increase,
Worry and sorrow, simply decrease.
Faith and obedience, are jointly tied,
Praise is opposite, of God denied!

Praising God, meekness and joy does create,
God’s great blessings, do not hesitate!
Blessings from Him, come day after day,
Praise keeps good things, coming our way!

Praising God, releases tension and stress,
This is just one way, that God does bless!
Praising God always, clears and calms my mind,
No greater comfort, can we e’er find!

PRAISING GOD FOR WHO HE IS . . . November 2013 Message

For who You are dear Lord, I praise You,
Almighty God, and Creator too!
Majestic Being, omnipotent,
The only One who is omniscient.

Of the universe, You have control,
From the starry Heav’n, to the rocky shoal.
The oceans their boundaries never leave,
Yet millions reject You; they won’t believe!

Why do You send tremors, this Earth to shake,
Splitting the Earth in a violent quake?
Are You trying to get people’s attention?
That they may flee to You, for salvation!

Molten lava down the mountain side spews,
Astonished people, their safety pursue.
Are You trying to tell them, You’re in control?
That You truly want to save their very soul!

Why do You send vicious hurricanes?
With destructive winds and tumultuous rains?
Are You showing Your majestic pow’r?
This we should consider, ev’ry hour!

O Lord, You control ev’ry single thing,
From fish in the sea, to birds on the wing!
You control the wind, sunshine and rain,
Nothing You ever do, is done in vain!
All natural disasters, You can bring,

These sorrows could be disguised as blessings.
We should ponder the pow’r and wisdom of You,
The One and only Almighty God so true!

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good,
Sing praises to Him; we really should!
Let us praise the Lord, for His goodness,
And be grateful for His holiness.

I will sing praises to Christ’s Holy name,
Of my awesome Lord, I have no shame!
With thanksgiving, I will magnify,
My glorious Saviour, who lives on High.

Rejoice and be glad, as Jesus you seek,
Remember, God hates pride; so be meek.
Give thanks to the Lord, continually,
For His awesome Gift; life eternally!

Give thanks to the Lord; magnify Him,
His mercy and love, are never dim.
Full of longsuff’ring and compassion,
The only One who gives salvation!

Christ redeems me from Hell’s agony,
And crowns me with such tender mercy.
Jesus shall judge in all righteousness,
For He is our God, of holiness.

Thou O Lord, art full of compassion,
For You give us eternal salvation.
Abundant mercy, and e’er so true,
Lord, let me always sing praises to You!

Prayer is the ‘key’ to God’s mercies all day,
The key to safeguard and protection, alway.
Prayer crowns God with honor, due His Name,
Our glorious God, who does not always blame.

Prayer is our spirit, speaking truth, to Truth,
And God always answers, He always rescueth.
Grant grace, so my prayer deserves to be heard,
Let it be heart-felt, not just many words.

Prayer won’t change God; but changes him who prays,
Prayer moves the arm which moves the world each day.
Prayer is love raised to its greatest power,
Prayer is peace of our soul; we needn’t cower.

Gracious Father in Heaven above,
So great is Your mercy and love.
Honored and holy is Thy precious Name,
Let us always praise You, and have no shame.

Let Thy righteous Kingdom be soon to come,
And let Thy will, here on Earth be done.
Give us bread this day that we might go on,
Faithfully trusting in Your dear Son.

Forgive us our sins Lord, when we grieve,
As to Your grace we steadily cleave.
And let us not forget, we must forgive,
Our brothers and sisters as we live.

Dear Lord, leave us not in temptation,
Let us not ponder degradation.
Deliver us Lord, from the evil one,
Let us instead, to Christ Jesus run.

The Kingdom Lord, belongs just to Thee,
And Thine alone is the pow’r and glory.
Forever Lord, I will worship You,
For You and You alone, are just and true.

Let us always praise You, and have no shame.

Miracles can happen when Christians pray,
Much can be accomplished in this way.
Only faith can take you to God’s great throne,
Faith in Christ Jesus, this, and this alone!

We must humble ourselves, and seek the Lord,
We must walk with Him, in willing accord.
We’re not worthy of His mercy and grace,
Only with Christ, will we e’er see His Face.

When we go to Him, we must turn from sin,
We must truly repent; or not begin!
Be sorry for sin; turn from wicked ways,
He’ll forgive and forget, faithful each day.

We’ll receive what we ask, if we obey,
Pleasing Him in deeds, or what we do say.
Prayer is a power line, we need to use,
God will hear His children; ne’er to refuse.

Do you commune with the Lord as you should?
He wants to hear from you, ‘twill do YOU good!
Prayer cannot change God on any day,
But it will change YOU, in a special way!

Go to the Lord in prayer, in ALL things,
You may be amazed, at the peace it brings!
Trials, troubles; large or small, day or night,
Take them to God; He can make all look bright.

Set aside a quiet time, ev’ry day,
He’s your best Friend; why not treat Him that way?
On thru’ each day, He’s waiting your call,
Don’t hesitate, call Him, BEFORE you fall!

There’s turmoil in the world; all around,
But Christ gives me peace that does abound!
Joy, for most people, is far away,
Yet I rejoice, each and ev’ry day!

Contentment, for most, is but a dream,
But with Christ near, it’s a steady stream!
The world is fill’d with wickedness,
But true Christians reveal Christ’s kindness!

A child of God is not of this world,
Character traits of Christ, are unfurl’d!
We must always be patient and meek,
And His guidance, we should always seek!

We should copy Christ with faithfulness,
When we persevere, our God will bless!
We must love, most important of all,
Being gentle and good, let us stand tall!

We are privileged, as God’s children,
Each day He blesses us; o’er again!
All those without Christ, receive God’s wrath,
Traveling with Satan, on Hell’s broad path!

Let’s pray for the “fruit” of self-control,
And commit to Christ, body and soul!
Just those “in Christ” can access God’s Throne,
For just the Blood of Christ, can atone!

You can be privileged, this very day,
If the Gospel of Christ, you obey!
Receive Christ, and believe on His Name,
And become God’s child; make it your aim!

Promises of God

The Promise of love, cannot compare,
With anything, that this world could share.
God’s love is care, concern and compassion,
The world gives strife, and persecution.

The Promise of pardon, hovers near,
The world just offers, dreaded fear.
God’s pardon, casts sins and guilt away,
The world tempts and entices, each new day.

The Promise, sufficient is His grace,
Encourages us, as we run our race.
Amazing grace, is God’s great mercy,
His pardon of sin, is O so free.

The Promise to us, to justify,
While the world stubbornly, Christ denies.
The court of Heav’n, not guilty declares,
The evil world with this, cannot compare.

The Promise of Heav’n, for you and me,
Is there for all, in God’s family.
An inheritance, that won’t fade away,
Kept by God’s pow’r, for our special day.

All the Promises of God, He shall keep,
His true children, these Promises will reap.
Faith in Christ Jesus, is what it takes,
Standing firm in Him, ne’er to forsake.

The Bible is clear, we must believe,
If God’s Promises, we are to receive.
For all unbelievers, Hell awaits,
They will never see, Heav’n’s glorious gates.

Walk according to the words of God. #4. Expects and prepares for a glorious eternity. #5. Who believe what God says. The WICKED are people: #1. Those who have NO fear whatsoever of God. #2. Those who do NOT abandon their evil ways, but seem proud of them. #3. Who live a life far from what God expects. #4. Who do NOT expect or prepare for eternity. #5. Who refuse to believe God, and instead curse and blaspheme Him, His Holy Name, His Holy Word, and His people . . . be they Jews or born again Christians. #6. Those who call God a ‘liar’ (1 Jn.5:10).
Only those who fear God can access these Promises.
There is a BIG difference between those who
fear God (Heaven) and those who do not (Hell).

Time spent with Jesus, just you and He,
This time is precious, it’s quality.
You’ll never regret, not one moment,
Any time with our Lord that you’ve spent.

‘Tis such a blessing, to spend some time,
With our Saviour, and His love so fine.
Time spent with Jesus, is of great price,
All other hours, cannot suffice.

Time spent with Jesus, is time so dear,
It is wonderful, to have Him near.
All my doubts and fears, fly far away,
He gives joy and peace, for e’er to stay.

A remarkable Friend, He is to me,
Time spent with Him, is pure quality.
His counsel to me has great value,
With untold wisdom, and always true.

‘Tis quality time, spent with my Lord,
Walking with Him, and reading His Word.
The most desirable part of the day,
Choice, select, and outstanding, alway.

O what a blessing I do receive,
Such a blessing, I want not to leave.
Quality time, spent with my Saviour,
Nought can compare, ‘tis joy and grandeur.

When you see God in His majesty,
You will see yourself very lowly.
When into His Presence, you do arrive,
Your attitude of pride, can’t survive.

When you see God in His purity,
You’ll see yourself, sinful and dirty.
You’ll beg Him to make you white as snow,
With cleanliness, just He can bestow.

When you see God in His holiness,
You will see all of your wickedness.
Holiness is what you’ll clearly see,
Opposite, of your depravity.

When you see God in all His glory,
Any pride you had will quickly flee.
Any fame and honor that came your way,
You will gladly cast far, far away.

When you see God in His love and grace,
You know one day you’ll see Him, Face to face.
Just by His grace, one day you will see,
The bliss of Heaven’s eternity.

When you see God so perfect and true,
You will wonder how He could see you.
You’ll see your total imperfectness,
Yet wonder of wonders, God does bless.

When we see God, when we truly see,
Our heart, mind and soul, are then set free.
A new creation, us He will make,
And to Heaven, one day He will take.

Only when we ‘fear God’ can we truly
SEE Almighty God in His awesome Majesty.

How precious Jesus is to me,
I simply cannot express to thee.
His abundant love, pure and true,
For ever there, for me and you.

My wondrous Saviour, so precious,
Just He can make me victorious.
Changed my life from evil to pure,
I thank you Jesus, my Saviour.

Much more precious than silver or gold,
Soon, His glorious Face I’ll behold.
I’ll live for e’er with Him so near,
Ne’er again, will I ever fear.

So very precious, words can’t tell,
With Him, in Heav’n, one day I’ll dwell.
He guided me to the right path,
Took away my sins, and God’s wrath.

O’ how precious Christ is to me,
All I can say, is “Come and see.”
The wealth He gives is there for you,
You’ll see life from a diff’rent view.

Fear of God make you SEE, that Jesus IS God!

Luke 24:31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. 32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? (KJV)
Proverbs 1:5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: (KJV)
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

Most have physical eyes, but they just cannot see,
That Christ Jesus is God, of all eternity.
The eyes of their understanding, remain closed,
It seems that to the Truth, they want not to be exposed.

These with their eyes shut, cannot see things clearly,
Their eyes see only those things, which are worldly.
Lewdness, lust, materialism and greed,
Those with physical eyes, just to these things pay heed.

Lord, give me spiritual eyes, that I may see,
All the awesome wonders, of Your majesty!
Let my heart burn, with the Truth of Your Holy Word,
That I may know, eternal life from me is not barred!

Most have physical ears, but they just cannot hear,
In one ear, out the other, the Truth disappears.
People do not care, about the Truth God reveals,
Their only concern in this life, is how they feel.

These with their ears shut, cannot hear what is said,
Their ears hear only those things, which cause them no dread.
Arrogance, deception and self-righteousness,
Those with physical ears, just to these things access

Lord, give me spiritual ears, that I may hear,
Your precious Words of Truth, we should hold dear.
Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear God’s Words,
For they shall in time, receive their due rewards!

Many are they, that speak evil of things they know not,
Rejecting the Truth, that Jesus, their souls bought.
Refusing to believe, Jesus is the only Way,
That “road” is too narrow, is what they say.

The Lord Jesus, on that rugged old cross died,
He gave His life for us, He was crucified!
He paid sin’s debt for me, that He did not owe,
Which keeps me from that horrible place below!

Most have physical eyes, but they just cannot see
that Christ Jesus IS God, of all eternity.

Seven Reasons Why the Bible Is Not Understood
#1. Man’s reasoning, which brings on doubt and unbelief (Mk.8:17).
#2. Lack of discernment, implying dullness (Mk.8:17).
#3. Ignorance, indicating lack of interest and study (Mk.8:17).
#4. Hardness of heart, meaning stubbornness and rebellion (Mk.8:17).
#5. Eyes that cannot see, which is simply willful blindness to Truth (Mk.8:18; Mat.13:14-15).
#6. Ears that will not hear, which is willful rejection of Truth (Mk.8:18).
#7. Dull memory, suggesting willful forgetfulness (Mk.8:18).
My friend, ALL these reasons are conscious, deliberate, malicious and willful. People should NOT reason, doubt, question, harden their hearts, be dull of seeing and hearing, or be forgetful of what God has done for us. There is NO excuse whatsoever for any of us not to believe the Bible. We all should have enough faith in Christ to meet our every problem.
Those who refuse to consider eternity have a huge problem! Our souls are eternal and shall spend eternity in ONE of two places: Heaven OR Hell! There is a Judgment Day coming! Believe it! Open your eyes! Open your ears and listen to what is said about the Truth of the Bible!

Walking on that strait and narrow road,
Sometimes we carry a heavy load.
But He is there, our burdens to bear,
He really does love us; and does care.

When we walk that road; narrow and strait,
We finally come to Heaven’s gate.
At times we cannot see what’s ahead,
But Christ is there; we’ve nothing to dread.

On that road, that’s so strait and narrow,
There may be times of hardship and woe.
Looming ahead may be difficulties,
But beyond; Heav’n for eternity!

As we’re walking that difficult way,
Remember, He’s with us, night and day.
Keep on going, serving Him; don’t stop!
Produce much fruit, for Him a good crop!

Don’t come to a standstill along the way,
Keep serving the Lord, quick to obey!
Follow the same road, trod by our Lord,
You can’t go wrong when you obey His Word!

Submit to His grace, and He will save you,
Christ Jesus is trustworthy, and so true.
We must have faith, believe and accept,
Then from eternal Hell, Christ will protect.

Submit to His pow’r, and be kept by it,
By the constant abiding of His Spirit.
The pow’r of Jesus, can lead, teach and guide,
What an awesome feeling, as He resides.

Submit to Jesus, and walk in His light,
He will sustain, and keep you in His might.
Ev’n in the darkest night, Jesus can lead,
But by His wise guidance, we must always heed.

Submit to the Saviour, and Him obey,
Trust and obedience, is a must each day.
If we don’t obey, we simply don’t love,
And it’s doubtful we’ll see, Heav’n above.

submit to the Saviour, and obey Him.

Such precious thoughts, do flood my mind,
Of an awesome God, who is so kind!
How I praise Him for blessings galore,
And so many more, He holds in store!

Such precious thoughts, as a river flows,
Amazing grace, on me He bestows!
Blessings in abundance, He does send,
The great mercies of God will never end!

Such precious thoughts, of His endless love,
Constantly He sheds on me from above!
His love will be there for eternity,
I have this awesome Friend, who does love me!

Such precious thoughts, of the peace He gives,
Deep down in my soul, each day that I live!
Also great joy and hope, that’s there to stay,
Grand blessings, no one can take away!

Such precious thoughts of life eternally,
Wondrous bliss of Heaven, waiting for me!
My “mansion” is there; undefil’d, unfading,
Reserve’d for me, by my Saviour and King!

You cannot have thoughts like this if you do not fear the Lord!

Sweet Jesus, You are so good to me,
Great blessings that flow, are all so free.
Precious Saviour, who was crucified,
Mercy is ours, when Your Blood is applied.

A true, faithful Friend, You are indeed,
When Your Holy Commandments we do heed.
Our awesome Advocate, O so true,
Your stand is steadfast for the faithful few.

Ready Redeemer, paid the total price,
On that horrid cross, was our Sacrifice.
You’re our Bright Light, that shows the way,
Leading and guiding us, night and day.

You’re our Rigid Rock, a Firm Foundation,
Lord, You are our true Preservation.
If we will just build our life on You,
You will give us strength each day anew.

Your amazing grace, is always there,
A personal Saviour, who does care.
If in this life, with You we will walk,
You will assist, when the devil stalks.

Sweet Jesus, You are so good to me,
You give to me, life eternally.
In Heav’n, You promise a dwelling place,
I thank You for, Your amazing grace!

Do you respect, reverence and worship Jesus?

Some folk slave for riches of this Earth,
Then with pride, show off all they’re worth.
They have pow’r and wealth; but are not happy,
For all the best things in life are free!

Contentment can’t be bought; nor can love,
Peace and joy; these come just from above!
And nearly all strive for happiness,
But instead, many have great sadness.

Can money buy a true loving spouse?
Or a happy home; not a lonely house?
Can your money buy excellent health?
The best things in life, don’t come from wealth!

A true friend will stand by you always,
Won’t leave nor forsake, on your worst days.
The true love Christ shows, is always free,
With grace and mercy, for you and me!

There is a saying, and I agree,
“All the best things in this life are free.”
The wondrous blessings our God does give,
Makes this world a better place as we live.

When I get weary, the Bible is my Bed,
When I hunger, it is my daily Bread.
When it is dark, the Bible is my Light,
When I fear, it is Armor for my fright.

When I am lost, the Bible is my Guide,
When I’m hemm’d in, it opens doors so wide!
When I feel naked, it clothes me rich and warm,
When I’m tempest toss’d, ‘tis a refuge from the storm!

The Bible is a Sun, when gloom does depress,
Changing a dreary day, to one of brightness!
When I feel I’m sinking, in deadly quicksand,
The Bible reaches out, and grabs my weary hand!

When I feel as if, nothing at all I know,
Knowledge and wisdom, from the Bible flow!
When I feel lonely, great friends I find therein,
When I’m ill, the Bible, is my best Medicine!

Struggling in life, the Bible gives me wings,
Consolation and pow’r, it truly brings!
When the world around, seems ugly and bare,
The Bible is a Garden, of beauty so fair!

The Bible gives comfort, by showing God’s love,
And great joy of knowing, there’s Heav’n above!
There’s a “mansion” for me, waiting up there,
And a wondrous Saviour, who truly cares!

God will forgive us, the Bible does tell,
And we can for eternity, in Heav’n dwell!
But we must trust Christ, who is so perfect,
And Him as Saviour and Lord, we must accept!

Do you respect and reverence the Holy Word of God?

Loftiness of men one day shall fall,
In that ‘Day’, they shall all fear God’s call.
Haughtiness of men shall be made low,
Trying to hide from the God they didn’t know.

Exalted shall be the Lord alone!
Evil, wicked men, shall wail and groan.
The ‘Day of the Lord’ will crush all wrong,
All the proud and haughty, and the strong.

Those that are lifted up shall be brought low,
God will one day, His sovereignty show.
When He ariseth, the Earth to shake,
All evil men, in their shoes will quake.

They will fear the Lord and His majesty,
For He’ll punish all for their iniquity.
He will shake the Earth, out of its place,
Gone is the day, of mercy and grace.

The ‘Day of the Lord’ cometh; ‘tis near!
His wrath and fierce anger, all should fear.
He will lay all the land desolate,
And destroy all sinners, out of it.

You need not go thru’ this awful ‘Day’,
Believe His Word; then trust and obey.
Accept His Son; He will save your soul,
Christ will grant Heav’n; He’s in full control!

Pride and arrogance of man will one day cease!
The Day of the Lord shall separate those who
truly fear Him and those who hate Him.

It will surely come; the ‘Day of the Lord’,
A time spoken of much, in His Word.
A ‘Day’ God will “shake terribly the Earth”,
And all the proud ones, and those of much worth.

A time of destruction from our great God,
He’ll punish the evil, where e’er they trod.
All their wicked works and iniquity,
All will be doom’d, who are God’s enemy.

A time when God’s vengeance He will reveal,
Yet even then, to Him most will not kneel.
A time of darkness, terror and distress,
A ‘Day’ of horror, against wickedness.

Heaven and Earth shall move out of their place,
Islands and mountains shall flee from God’s Face.
A ‘Day’ of God’s fierce anger, and His wrath,
Not one, will be able to stand in His path.

It shall come to pass; so many will die,
And all because, God’s Christ, they deny!
This ‘Day’ is coming, and not far away,
Trust Christ, you’ll not see this dreadful display.

The Vast Realm of Eternity . . . June 2009 & Jan.2011 Messages

Consider the life that is to be,
In the vast realm of eternity.
Do you think, of what the future holds?
Will you e’er walk, on that street of gold?

The river - - - clear and pure, did you know?
The water of life, from God’s Throne flows.
In the midst of the street, on each side,
Is the tree of life, that God provides.

No more curse, shall e’er again be found,
Just blessings from the Lord, will abound.
We shall at last see, His precious Face,
And first hand feel, His amazing grace.

There shall never be, any more night,
Just the brilliance, of our Saviour’s Light.
No sun or moon, will this City need,
Glory from God and the Lamb, shall proceed.

No more death, sorrow, crying or pain,
From all these things, we shall abstain.
Nothing that defiles, shall enter in,
Gone will be, all wickedness and sin.

Consider now, the other life to be,
In the vast realm of eternity.
Most will go in, thru’ Hell’s one lone gate,
The Lake of Fire, is the sinner’s fate.

No exit doors, just smoke and darkness,
Here, God’s Glory is gone; He won’t bless.
God’s wondrous Presence, you won’t e’er see,
You’ll be bann’d for e’er, from His mercy.

Agonizing screams, will never cease,
Christ is not there, so you’ll have no peace.
All the wonder of Heav’n, you’ll never see,
Just non-stop suff’ring, eternally.

Only TWO roads, to eternity,
One leads to bliss, the other - - - agony.
Your future in your own hands, you hold,
Eternal suff’ring - - - OR the street of gold.

The majority of people in the world never, ever think of
eternity!  Neither do they ever think of respect and devotion
to Almighty God! Fear of Him never enters their mind.
Only those who fear God shall walk the street of Gold!
All those who ridicule and scorn God end up in HELL!

What Shall I Fear?

What shall I fear, will it be death?
Christ is with me, till my last breath!
Christ is my Life, by my death I gain,
Lord give me strength, that faith remain.

What shall I fear, will it be exile?
The entire Earth is His, all the while.
Earth and its bounty belong to Him,
With Christ at my side, nothing is dim!

What shall I fear, will it be loss of wealth?
Christ is all my riches, and my health.
I brought nought with me, will take nought out,
My riches are Christ; there is no doubt.

All the fears of the world, I’ll pass by,
Poverty’s no fear; for wealth I don’t sigh.
From death I can’t flee; nor do I fear,
Death brings me to the Lord, all the more near.

GOD is WHOM we should fear!

When I praise God, it magnifies Him,
I focus on God, all else is dim.
His presence, power, and ability,
Make me aware of His Majesty.

When I praise God, it does humble me,
I do see myself, as I should be.
Pride and ego are gone, far away,
Humility instead, comes to stay.

When I praise God, I see His pure love.
This true love comes only from above.
He died on the Cross to set us free,
Deep, heartfelt love, He gave you and me.

When I praise God, it opens my heart,
I want to please Him, and from sin depart.
Wanting only His will to be done,
To imitate Jesus, God’s only Son.

When I praise God, peace floods my soul,
This peace of which, just He has control.
With Him also is joy, ev’ry day,
Joy, that no one can take away.

When I praise God, I see many things,
He’s done so much, given great blessings.
If it were not for Him, we’d go to Hell,
And never, ever, in Heaven dwell.

Wicked Oppose the Righteous

The righteous and the wicked, oppose,
But the Judge, the difference clearly knows.
You can’t fool Him, for He knows all things,
Just the righteous receive, Heav’n’ blessings.

The wicked, only Hell’s fires will see,
And shall have, eternal agony.
The Judge will never, make a mistake,
No righteous to Hell, will He e’er take.

To the wicked, many sorrows come,
And Hell’s fires will be, their only home.
The righteous have, many trouble too,
But the Lord will always, help them thru’.

The wicked will flee, when none pursue,
The old devil, will not e’er rescue.
The righteous are as a lion, bold,
They are the sheep, in the Shepherd’s fold.

For sorrow of heart, the wicked cry,
The wicked ones, the Lord do deny.
The righteous have a heart, full of joy,
As His servants sing, in their employ.

Sin always increases, wickedness,
Bad ones multiply, as Satan does bless.
But the righteous ones, shall see their fall,
For they stand firm in Christ, bold and tall.

The face of the Lord, is against wrong,
The wicked, are in the devil’s throng.
O’er the righteous, are the Eyes of the Lord,
Because they believe, God’s Holy Word.

The righteous fear God. The wicked refuse to reverence  or worship Him!

The will of God; let us contemplate,
We must magnify Him; and us deflate.
We must give Him, what to Him is due,
Worship and praise to God, great and true.

The will of God, the same for us all,
Rich folks and poor folks, the great and small.
Glorify God in all that we do,
Give God the credit; not me or you!

Our magnificent God, high above,
Filled with mercy, forgiveness, and love.
We should always glorify His Name,
Not seek for ourselves fortune and fame.

To honor Him; is the will of God,
No matter who we are, or where we trod.
We should always reverence our Lord,
Holding in awe, both He and His word.

Honoring Him; there is a best way:
Do trust and believe all He does say.
Unbelief is telling God He lies,
And that unbelief, He does despise.

(Ps.143:10; Mt.12:50; Ep.6:6; Pro.16:7; 1 Thes.4:1; Heb.11:5; 13:16)
The will of God is for us to love, honor and RESPECT Him.

Worldly riches, to most are precious,
Satan tempts with what is spurious.
Silver and gold, and possessions galore,
Folks gather together, and adore.

Heaping riches as dust of the Earth,
Will profit nothing, be of no worth.
We brought nary a thing, when we came,
And when we leave, it shall be the same.

Riches make you forget the Lord God,
You worship them, not Him, as you trod.
Hardly any rich, shall enter Heav’n,
Instead, the gates of Hell will be giv’n.

In Heav’n, is where your treasures should be,
Not here on this Earth, for all to see.
For where your treasure is, your heart is too,
Heav’n will be granted, to just a few.

What maketh rich? blessings of the Lord,
He will add no sorrow, nor discord.
No greater wealth than Christ, can be found,
Wondrous riches, in Him, do abound!

You Ain’t Got A Chance

Without Jesus, you ain’t got a chance,
For in the Lake of Fire, you shall prance!
Without Christ, you CANNOT avoid Hell,
It’s for certain, there you shall dwell!

You ain’t got a chance, without the Lord,
It’s so plainly stated, in His Word.
Christ is the only One, with a key,
To Heaven, and life eternally!

You ain’t got a chance, no how, no way,
To reach Heaven’s gate, on any day!
You must have Christ Jesus, in your heart,
No other way, will Satan depart!

You ain’t got a chance, to reach Heaven’s shore,
Unless Jesus, you truly adore!
There is no other name, God has given,
That anyone could call on, to reach Heaven!

We ain’t got a chance, not you, not me,
We must have Christ, to live eternally!
Just Jesus can get us, to Heaven above,
Just Jesus can save us, with His love.

Your Throne of Grace, I’d dare not approach,
For my sins are to You, a horrid reproach.
But my loving Saviour, made a way,
For me to come to You, night or day.

I now can approach, Your wondrous Throne,
For Christ Jesus, my sins did atone.
I now can come to You, with no fear,
And I know my pray’r, You’ll surely hear.

Your Throne, Father, what an awesome Place,
Where You bless us, with Your amazing grace.
You always have time to hear my plea,
No matter my plight, You always hear me.

Your Throne of Grace, gives me joy down deep,
Your mercy and love, I covet and keep.
The peace I have, deep inside my soul,
Comes from knowing, You are in control.

Humbly I come to Your Throne of Grace,
My sinfulness, makes me hide my face.
Dear Lord, so holy and pure are You,
I’m so unworthy, of Your love so true.

Great love on Your children, You bestow,
As we walk here, on this Earth below.
A blessing, and a privilege indeed,
From Your Throne of Grace, grand things proceed.

For Your grand love, I’ll praise You each day,
And thank You, that You won’t turn away.
I’m truly grateful, for Your Throne of Grace,
Indeed it is, a most awesome Place!

If my life is not pleasing to Thee,
Lord, reveal all my errors to me.
Your wishes and Your will, Yours alone,
Lord, please make Your will to me, made known.

Your will be done, I want nothing more,
For it’s You, Lord, I worship and adore.
Serving You daily, is my pleasure,
Blessings from You, are a great treasure.

Difficult, are some lessons in life,
Your strength is needed, when I face strife.
No matter what, don’t let me back away,
Let me be faithful, day after day.

If it’s not Your will, let me pass by,
I know worldly things, I must deny.
Your wishes and Your will, this I desire,
Let me, with Your love, others inspire.

Your wishes and Your will, let me seek,
And gracious Lord, help me to be meek.
Give me patience, as I walk with You,
Guiding on the narrow road with the “few.”

I look forward to my home above,
Where I will continue, to serve in love.
I care not, what others think of me,
I look to the day, when I’ll live with Thee.

Let me ne’er forget, to do Your will,
For I want your blessings, my soul to fill!
Let me always trust You, in all I do,
Your will always Lord, let me pursue!

In all things, to You be the glory,
I’ll praise You Lord, for eternity!
I thank You for Your precious watch-care,
Your will be done, ev’ry place, ev’ry where!

Only those who fear God can pray this prayer in sincerity!

Your will, Your way, is all that I ask,
Give me strength and faith, for ev’ry task.
When doubt creeps in, I should always pray,
Increase my faith,” is what I should say.

Your will, Your way, let it always be,
Please Lord, keep Your watchful eye on me.
Dear Lord, don’t let me stray from the path,
I want no part, of Your righteous wrath.

Your will, Your way, or it will be wrong,
Let me trust in You Lord, make me strong.
I tend to roam, from Your path of light,
I need Your Spirit, to guide me right.

Your will, Your way, each and ev’ry day,
I must feel Your Presence, so I don’t stray.
“I will never leave, nor forsake thee,”
I claim this Promise, for my vic’try.

Your will, Your way, or I want it not,
For with the Blood of Christ, I was bought.
I want not, my Lord to disobey,
Lord, I want You, to show me the way.

Your will, Your way, most refuse to choose,
Can’t they see, in the end they will lose?
Yes! There is Heav’n, but also a Hell,
A frightful place, you don’t want to dwell.

Your will, Your way Lord, or Heav’n is lost,
Have you ever, considered the cost?
Your eternal destiny, you do hold,
Eternal agony, or bliss untold.

Again: Only those who fear God can pray this prayer in sincerity!
Many are actually afraid to pray for God’s will to be done in their lives.

Years ago, in a Bible class I was teaching, I stated that we should pray for patience
in our lives. I could not believe how many were actually AFRAID to pray for
patience. When I asked WHY they were afraid to pray for one of the fruits of the Spirit, the answer was that He would send some  kind of testing to check them out. How stupid!
Patience was one of the characteristics of our Lord Jesus. We NEED patience
IF we expect to use Jesus as our Example in this life.
Patience IS in the will of God! Fear God, always!
Dear one, please pray for God’s will to be done in your life.

Everything is yours, and rightly so,
From the vast Heavens, to Hell below.
Low valleys, to stately mountains high,
All this is yours, this we can’t deny.

If we could count the stars; they are yours,
E’vn those far away, that are obscure.
On miles of seashores, small grains of sand,
All is yours, you hold all in your hand.

Yours, is ev’ry beast in the forest,
Too, fowls in the air, and in their nest.
All the cattle, on a thousand hills,
In the heat of day, or night’s cold chill.

All yours, is the world’s silver and gold,
Also any treasures, we might hold.
We too are yours, we belong to you,
We’re just here a while; we’re passing thru’.

As to your will, to each one you give,
We’re your stewards, as this life we live.
We must be faithful, this you require,
With a loving heart, and true desire.

All is yours, even gifts we possess,
We’re to use them freely, not suppress.
Building the Body of Christ, so true,
For all that we have, belong to you.

Everything is God’s, and rightly so! We own nothing
on a permanent basis! When death comes to us, it all
reverts back to the One who gave it to us!
Only the fear of God can make us realize this fact!

Something to Think About . . .

A Heavenly Home is available to EVERY man, woman or child in this world, no matter who they are, what color they are, where they live, or what they have done. It is freely offered to any and all who want to receive it. God the Father did not make eternal salvation difficult. Even a person with absolutely no worldly education is qualified to receive it! Simply BELIEVE God, when He says Jesus is the Promised Messiah, BELIEVE He died on the Cross for all of your sins and rose from the grave the third day and is now seated on the Throne of God on His right Hand.

We must learn of Him and believe in Him . . . for He is the only One who has ever loved us enough to take our place on the Cross, paying our penalty for our sin. If we refuse to BELIEVE in Him, WE shall pay that penalty ourselves. WHAT is that penalty? That penalty represents the eternal suffering that will be found in Hell. You do NOT want that penalty!

Jesus has already suffered, shed His precious Blood, and died on the Cross to save us from our sins and from the utter darkness, seclusion and torment of Hell. All we have to do is BELIEVE and accept it and trust in it. This is why Jesus is called Saviour … His Name in Hebrew means Saviour. He lovingly and graciously offers us life in Heaven . . . and the Bible warns us that it is a ‘take it or leave it’ offer. We either do it God’s Way, (JESUS), by willingly receive Him and accepting Him in faith.

If you are honest and openly admit you have sinned, and NEED a Saviour to get into Heaven,  and ask Christ Jesus to come into your heart and life, trusting in Him alone to save you from your sins, and truly mean it . . . you will go to Heaven. You can KNOW you are going to Heaven! (Jn.3:15-18, 36; 5:24; 6:40,47; 11:26; 20:31; 1 Jn.5:1,10-13).

There is only one unpardonable sin, and that is to deny, reject or ignore completely God's love and His FREE offer of eternal life in Heaven by rejecting His Son, Jesus, Who came, not to condemn sinners, but to save sinners from the agony of Hell, and who willingly and in deep heart-felt love, shed His Blood and took all our sins and guilt to the Cross so we can be washed clean and be forgiven for all our sins. The Bible also warns there will be no peace in our hearts UNTILwe make peace with God through His Son, Jesus.

Warnings to unbelievers in the Bible. BEWARE!!!

Luke 9:25-26 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? 26  For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. (KJV)

Luke 12:8-9 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: 9  But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. (KJV)

Matthew 13:49-50 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 50  And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. (KJV)

"The world" is all those who deny Jesus as Lord and willfully reject His offer of forgiveness. The world is unbelievers. Sad to say, this includes most of the people on the Earth. Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)

The world (the devil's children 1 Jn.3:10) is powerful. It hates the Cross. The world can be seen and heard 7 days a week, 24 hours a day speaking through those ways that entertain us: the shows we watch, the music we hear and the things we read. The world speaks extremely powerfully through the Mass media centers of Hollywood, New York, Atlanta, San Francisco, etc. The world speaks loudly through many rich, powerful leaders throughout the world. There is a deadly satanic, spiritual virus flowing from these places and infects all that it touches. This satanic, spiritual virus blinds and numbs the soul. The only way to protect against this deadly virus is through Jesus' Blood on the Cross. We can open the door of our hearts and invite Jesus into our lives (Rev.3:20), allowing the goodness, honesty and the purity of His Holy Word and Spirit to flow through our us. JESUS is our ONLY protection against this satanic, spiritual virus and Satan himself!

1 John 2:15-16 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (KJV)

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. (KJV)

We can clearly see and feel the growing hate for those who believe in Christ. It is spreading like wildfire, not only in America, but across the entire world. How is the Christian represented in movies, TV, books or news broadcast? The Bible warns that Satan, who is also called the prince of the power of the air (Eph.2:2), will plant seeds of hate and doubt into your mind whenever and wherever he has a chance. Has the world successfully made you feel ashamed, unwelcome, afraid, or embarrassed to be called a Christian? BEWARE! The devil is strong.

Have you really looked around you? Isn’t it clear that the separation between believing Christians and the world is widening fast. The definition and division of church and state, gains momentum every day, including the rapidly changing things . . . that will be unjustly blamed on Christians and laws will be passed with deceptive names and titles which will come down hard, on anyone who will stand firm in their faith of Jesus and stand firm in their obedience to the Holy Word of God. The mocking and ridicule of TRUE Christians will continue to intensify to higher levels of forcefulness and fury until someday soon when it will take a much darker, and violent turn.

Matthew 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. (KJV)

Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. (KJV)

Luke 12:52-53 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. 53  The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. (KJV)

Luke 21:16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. (KJV)  There are millions of Christians today in China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Indonesia, Algeria, Egypt, India and around the world, including women and children who are being imprisoned, murdered, tortured, raped, beaten, kidnapped, beheaded, burned alive, and sold into slavery simply because of their faith in Christ Jesus, while we, our churches, the leaders of our nation, and the news networks simply watch and do nothing.

Revelation 6:9-11 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10  And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11  And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. (KJV)

God promises great blessings in Heaven for those who endure such treatment here on Earth and suffer or die in their faith while doing so. Believe Him!

Matthew 5:10-12 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12  Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. (KJV)

We know from prophecy from the Bible that the time draws near when millions upon millions of Christians and Jews will be slaughtered. During the Tribulation Period, several judgments shall take place, each one worse than the one before it. God warns what will happen. Are you paying attention to the Bible?
