POEMS . . . W-b

What if --- the Words in the Bible are true,
Would that make any difference to you?
Would you try to understand, what God states?
Or would you not trey to change your fate?

What if --- you could change your destination,
Would you take the route away from damnation?
Would you try Heaven’s small narrow road?
Or would you continue, to Hell’s abode?

What if --- you knew, Christ was the only way,
Would you have faith, and believe in Him this day?
Would you trust Him completely, to save you?
My friend, the choice is yours; what will you do?

What if --- you knew, you would die this v’ry day,
Would you change your thoughts, or the words you say?
Would you try to make right, the wrongs you’ve done?
Or would you just grab every bit of fun?

The world is in the vast majority,
They never think about eternity.
They never think that God won’t ever lie,
And their soul lives forever, when they die.

What if --- you would turn to Christ, and believe?
Then a mansion in Heav’n, you will receive!
Just Christ can save you from Hell’s agony,
And grant life in Heaven, eternally!

What if, I do not accept the Lord?
What is the penalty, in God’s Word?
What if, I keep my mind on lust and greed?
What if, God’s Commandments, I do not heed?

What if, just me, me, is on my mind?
And time for others, I cannot find?
What if, pride is always in my path?
What if, I don’t try to avoid God’s wrath?

What if, I always pick the wrong friends?
And drugs and booze, seem to be my trend?
What if, I do to you, ‘fore you do to me?
What if, I never think, of eternity?

You must be born again, God’s Word is clear!
But most folks the Gospel, refuse to hear!
The penalty, is the Lake of Fire,
Eternal life, must be our desire.

Just two distinct roads, before us stand,
One leads to God, the other, Satan’s hand.
NO one can make, the decision but you,
Choose the right road, and with gusto pursue.

Walk with Jesus, on the narrow path,
‘Tis the only way, to avoid God’s wrath!
Satan’s broad road, leads to Hell’s agony,
Where the bliss of Heav’n, you will ne’er see.

Is YOUR name there?

What if --- this were your last day to live,
Is there someone, you might want to forgive?
Does your heart a heavy burden carry?
Run to the Lord, my friend; do not tarry!

What if --- you knew this would be your last day,
Would you keep on living the same way?
Or would you maybe change a few things?
Run to the Lord, my friend; for His blessings!

What if --- today you would take your last breath,
Are you ready to die a physical death?
Is there something you would try to make right?
Run to the Lord, my friend; you’re in His sight!

What if --- today God would call you away,
Are there kind words to one you might say?
Is there one that you should right a wrong?
Run to the Lord, my friend; to His arms so strong!

What if --- did you ever contemplate?
When I die, just what will be my fate?
Does eternity ever come to your mind?
Or are you to this Truth, totally blind?

What if --- O please consider this my friend,
Your days on Earth are short, and soon will end.
Ev’ry living person one day will die,
For life in Heaven, do you qualify?

If you reject Christ, you are doom’d to Hell,
In eternal agony, you shall dwell.
But, if you accept Christ, Heaven awaits,
For just Christ has keys to Heaven’s gates.

John 1:12-13; 3:3-8, 15-18, 36; 5:24; 8:24; 14:6; 1 John 5:10-12

What if things don’t go as you expect?
After so much prayer, why won’t God protect?
If it’s not His will, you don’t want it my friend,
Rejoice, trust Him, He gives His best in the end.

What if prayer won’t take disease away?
What if your loved one passes on today?
You must rejoice, tho’ gladness won’t be near,
His Presence is with you always, have no fear.

What if the miracle doesn’t take place?
Will sadness within, show on your face?
Trust in the Lord, rejoice in His pow’r,
He’ll always see you thru’ your darkest hour.

You pray and pray for things to go your way,
What if no answer comes to you that day?
Rejoice, trust Him completely, He knows best,
His wisdom is true, when He runs His tests.

What if, you backslide from the Lord?
What if you neglect His most Holy Word?
You must repent, and to Him turn back,
You can’t rejoice when you’re on the wrong track.

Rejoice always and give thanks for all things,
The Lord’s lovingkindness, great blessings bring.
Rejoice, and walk ever so close to His side,
A wondrous life, when with Him you abide!

Phil.2:28; 4:4; 1 Thes.5:16-17; 1 Pet.1:8

On God’s blessings, what would the price be?
If God were to charge, you and me.
Could we afford to pay for His love?
That He so graciously sends, from above.

Could we buy peace? or have to pass by?
For on our money, we couldn’t rely.
What about grace? how much would you pay?
For God’s sufficiency, ev’ry day.

The joy in your life, how much is it worth?
Consider this, as you walk this Earth.
Being content, as you live your life,
Would be expensive, for it removes strife.

What about hope, how much would it be?
As you contemplate, eternity.
And what about salvation of your soul?
Saving your money would have to be your goal.

Isn’t God good to us, ev’ry day?
For NONE of His blessings, do we have to pay!
He doesn’t charge for His love, it’s free!
And His grace abounds, abundantly!

Peace and joy come when Christ we accept,
God gives them freely, to His elect!
Contentment comes when the Spirit abides,
When the door of our heart, we open wide.

Because of Christ, God forgives all our sins,
Just thru’ Christ, can God’s friendship we win.
We now have hope, that wasn’t there before,
Salvation is ours! and so much more!

A Christian starts by being ‘born again’,
Not physically, but spiritually, friend.
This happens the moment you believe Him,
Trusting Christ brings to God’s fam’ly within.

When we’re ‘born’ into the fam’ly of God,
On another path, with the Spirit we trod.
We must not stay ‘babes’, instead we should grow,
In the grace and knowledge of Christ to know.

We’re then clothed in a ‘robe’ of righteousness,
Just from our Saviour can come this pure dress!
We should then let our light shine before men,
God will liken us to a wise man only then.

‘Born again’ gives us fellowship with God,
We’re of the ‘same mind’, and the same accord.
Lest we’re born of water, and the Spirit,
We can’t see Heaven, let alone enter it.

Once we trust Jesus as Saviour and Lord,
‘Tis our duty to “Continue in His Word.”
We’ll then know the Truth, and that Truth is He,
And that v’ry Truth shall indeed make you free!

Only after we’re saved, do good works come in,
Fight the good fight of faith, turn from your sin.
You are a living sacrifice to God,
As on that steep, rugged pathway we trod.

As ye have received Christ, walk in Him,
If you walk in His Spirit, the world gets dim.
We walk by our faith, and not by our sight,
Let Him lead the way, your path will be bright.

As you run your race, let nothing beset,
We must look ahead, never back, nor fret.
Eternal life waits in Heaven above,
Thanks be to Jesus, He did it in love!

What Is Important To You? . . . April 2013 Message

What in this life, is important to you?
As you consider this, what has most value?
Is it your home, or other property?
Do you ever think, of eternity?

What in this life, is your prized possession?
Think, as you take all, in consideration.
Does eternity, ever enter your mind?
Or to this fact, are you deaf, dumb and blind?

In this life on Earth, the vast majority,
Never think of where, they’ll spend eternity!
God’s Word states, there are just two destinations,
The bliss of Heaven, or Hell’s damnation.

Jesus is the Truth, the Life and the Way,
Only He can get you, to Heaven one day!
Have you considered Christ, a priority?
As you walk the road, to eternity?

Christ Jesus should be, of great value to you,
As you live in this wicked world, so untrue.
Don’t let this world’s pleasures, lead you astray,
‘Tis a huge mistake, you will pay for one day!

The devil will lead you, to worldly treasure,
And tempt you, with forbidden pleasure.
Beware my friend, don’t let Satan take control,
He will lead you to Hell, and destroy your soul!

What Shall I Fear?

What shall I fear, will it be death?
Christ is with me, till my last breath!
Christ is my Life, by my death I gain,
Lord give me strength, that faith remain.

What shall I fear, will it be exile?
The entire Earth is His, all the while.
Earth and its bounty belong to Him,
With Christ at my side, nothing is dim!

What shall I fear, will it be loss of wealth?
Christ is all my riches, and my health.
I brought nought with me, will take nought out,
My riches are Christ; there is no doubt.

All the fears of the world, I’ll pass by,
Poverty’s no fear; for wealth I don’t sigh.
From death I can’t flee; nor do I fear,
Death brings me to the Lord, all the more near.

What I Have In Christ

In life I have, His grace to keep me,
And He bestows it, abundantly.
His wondrous wisdom is there to guide,
I need only ask, and He will provide.

His awesome strength, does always sustain,
Tho’ I stumble, His Hand will remain.
For His e’er seeing eye, watches o’er me,
And o’er Satan, I have victory.

Lis’ning to me, is His e’er hearing ear,
As He comforts, encourages and cheers.
His mighty Hand, truly does uphold,
My Shepherd keeps me safe, in the fold.

His Word does instruct, admonish and teach,
Thru’ it my heart and soul, He does reach.
His grand angels, minister to me,
As I journey on to eternity.

My majestic God I have always,
And He shall be with me, all my days.
My Lord does so v’ry much for me,
I have Him now, and for all eternity.

Inspired by Brigette’s words.

Today I Have

God’s grace to keep me,
God’s wisdom to guide me,
God’s strength to sustain me,
God’s eye to watch over me,
God’s ear to hear me,
God’s hand to hold me,
God’s Word to instruct me,
God’s angels to minister to me.
I always have God.

A love that no one can understand,
We hold close in our heart, soul and hand.
A life in which we can never die,
When on our Saviour we do rely.

A righteousness that can’t be unclear,
Coming from Christ, and won’t disappear.
A peace that will never go away,
Given to us freely ev’ry day.

A rest that can never be discontent,
Blessings from Christ are never deficient.
A joy that will never discontinue,
For Christ’s joy remains in me and you.

A hope that can never be displac’d,
As we look to the day we see His Face.
A light within that will never dim,
It shines brightly as it comes from Him.

A happiness that can never be sad,
Contentment just from Christ can be had.
A strength that can never be frail,
The pow’r of Jesus will never fail.

A purity that can ne’er be defil’d,
Because Christ made us the Father’s child.
A wisdom that no one can confuse,
That thru’ this life on Earth, we can use.

We’re headed for Heav’n, where life ne’er ends,
We’ll live with our Saviour, Lord and Friend.
He will take care of us for e’er more,
For Christ has open’d for us Heav’n’s door.

What will be judged at Christ’s Judgment Seat?
When this special day our Saviour we meet.
We’ll receive rewards; OR we’ll suffer loss,
Did we preach Christ, and His death on the Cross?

How did we treat the family of God?
Did we love , and assist, as this Earth we trod?
Did we use our talents, be they large or small?
We ALL have a ‘gift’, to profit withall.

Do we wisely spend the time God does give?
Or walk about as fools, as we do live?
It is HOW we run our race that will count,
Service to Christ, will be held in account.

How faithful are we to the Word of God?
And how faithful to His flock, as we trod?
We’re ALL evangelists for our Lord,
Tell of Christ Jesus; some may not have heard.

How do we use words, do we speak in vain?
Words can give comfort, or cause so much pain.
Words that come from our mouth, reveal our heart,
God wishes that we from sin would depart.

Just what motive, makes you serve the Lord?
Do you serve Him in love and willing accord?
OR do you serve to receive glory and fame?
Christ knows your heart; you’ll suffer loss and shame.

Are you ready for this soon to come day?
Do you in your life, Christ Jesus obey?
We’ll meet our Saviour, and Judge, face to face,
Will your life please Him, or be a disgrace?

There’ll be no separation or turmoil,
Satan no longer our efforts shall foil.
There’ll be no mourning when a lov’d one dies,
For there’ll be no more death in Heav’n on high.

There’ll be no more sorrow, crying, nor pain,
And of that blissful life, there’ll be no wane.
On and on, for e’er, into eternity,
I pray that Heav’n shall be your destiny.

There’ll be no more hunger, nor any thirst,
God will see to it that we all come first.
There’ll be no wants nor desires of any kind,
I don’t know ‘bout you, but this baffles my mind!

There’ll never be fear, if you’re close or far,
Not like this Earth; many fears so do mar.
He will keep and protect us, forever,
Nothing at all from God will us sever.

There’ll be no more curse God put on the ground,
Anything we do will simply abound.
There shall not be any wickedness there,
You’ll not find any sinners, anywhere!

There’ll be no more sin in our Heav’nly Home,
And you’ll not turn your back on Him, e’er roam.
Christ has made all God’s children just and right,
And there’ll be no options to reach Heav’n bright.

There shall be no night in this blissful place,
All darkness is gone, thanks be to His grace.
There’ll be no candle, nor light of the sun,
Just the presence of Christ, the Light of God’s Son!

(Rev.ch.21; 22:1-6)

Hell will be a prison of darkest despair,
There are so many things that will be there.
A lake of fire and brimstone, that there will be,
The judgment of God, and His final decree.

There will be suffering that’s not met its match,
Such pain and agony, and no gate with a latch.
Weeping and wailing, and gnawing of tongues,
Memory and remorse, have all just begun.

The fearful and unbelievers, and all liars,
All these will have their part, in the lake of fire.
The abominable, and all who hate God,
All who reject Christ, while on Earth they trod.

Then too, there are some things that will not be there,
Because Hell is a prison of dark despair.
No beautiful flowers on the banks of Hell,
None of the wonders of nature, we love so well.

No comforts of our home, no music, no song,
No friendship, no joy, and no peace in that throng.
No fam’ly gath’rings with laughter so bright,
No love and no smiles, and not one bit of light.

No more of God’s mercy, compassion or grace,
No pity, no water, --- what a terrible place!
One other thing that there simply will not be,
None of God’s children, for Christ has set us free.

These are just a few things, to ponder upon,
I pray you won’t wait long, to accept God’s Son.
Christ is the only One, that can save your soul,
And only He can place your name, on Heav’n’s roll.

What will I say, to the Almighty Judge?
When on His decisions, He won’t budge?
I can beg and cry, and for mercy plead,
But it’ll be too late, my words He won’t heed.

Just what will I say, at the Judgment Seat?
When the All-knowing Judge I finally meet?
I know He’ll have records of all I’ve done,
I won’t put anything o’er, God’s own Son.

He’ll know about the things, I did not do,
And He’ll know about, the wrongs I did too.
Rewards or loss of rewards, will come my way,
As I consider this, what will I say?

I must NOW really think, of how I live,
I must confess my sins, so God can forgive.
I must walk with Christ, on the narrow path,
I must live righteous, to avoid God’s wrath.

NOW is when I should think, of the Judgment Seat,
For one day soon, the Great Judge I’ll meet.
Will He be pleased, with my service to Him?
What will I say, on this day O so grim?

I will be judged, on all works I have done,
When I come Face to face, with God’s own Son.
All His judgments will be righteous and just,
What will I say, to my Lord whom I trust?

Soon in the future, will come Judgment Day,
I have no idea, of what I will say.
I look to this day with uneasiness,
I must live my life, so my Lord will bless.

If you follow Christ, what will you lose?
There will be things; if this life you choose.
There is a “cross” you will have to bear,
If a life with Christ, you want to share.

Stubborn pride must be cast far away,
But meekness instead, should come to stay.
This characteristic we must seek,
For our precious Saviour; He was meek!

Thinking just of self, in all you do,
Is something you will have to lose too.
The lust for worldly things and pleasure,
You must replace with spiritual treasure.

Every one of your idols must go,
Only to Christ, reverence you must show.
If you don’t put Him first, you’re not worthy,
Of our Saviour’s love, grace and mercy.

You may even lose fam’ly and friends,
Your stand for Jesus, may truly rend.
They may turn completely against you,
When you follow Christ, on a path so true.

We must lay aside thoughts of great things,
Then God will give us awesome blessings!
Worldly concerns must not plague our heart,
Keep your eyes on Christ; they will depart.

All the things you’ll lose, cannot compare,
To the fellowship, with Christ you’ll share!
Great peace and joy, and contentment too,
Will automatically come to you!

What Will You Say?

What will you say, on that coming day?
It's a certainty, to come your way!
It's a fact, that one day you shall be,
In front of Judge Jesus, to state your plea.

The life you lived, will pass by your eyes,
Things you've forgotten, will re-arise.
Books on us all, Almighty God keeps,
Our awesome God, ne'er slumbers or sleeps.

Our Creator God, knows our ev'ry thought,
No way you can lie, you're already caught!
He knows our heart, for it He can see,
On Judgment day, we shall speak truthfully.

What will you say, what will you try to hide?
Will you be afraid, or will fears subside?
You shall stand, before the Great Judge one day,
When Judgment Day comes, what will you say?

There shall be judgments, not just one, but two,
Each of us shall be judged, both me and you!
God's children shall be, at the Judgment Seat,
Satan's children face, the Great White Throne's heat.

Before which of these judgments, will you be?
As you walk onward, to your destiny?
The Judgment Seat means, that Heav'n awaits,
The Great White Throne means, a no-exit gate!

What will you say, to Christ Jesus today?
IF you want Heav'n, there is NO other way!
Almighty God, you MUST believe,
Trust and accept Christ, and Him receive!

You must be born again, to gop to heav'n,
Or a "mansion" to you, will NOT be giv'n.
All Satan's children, shall go to Hell,
And there in agony, for e'er shall dwell.

What Would Jesus Do?

When a thought of a lie, comes to you,
Just ask yourself, what would Jesus do?
Lies are a sin, that will lead to Hell,
And there for eternity, you will dwell.

When hatred of another, comes to mind,
Right answers from Jesus, you will find.
What would Jesus do, is what to ask,
Then in His loving Presence, you can bask.

If anger starts to take root, in your heart,
What can you do, to make it depart?
Ask yourself this: “What would Jesus do?”
He’ll always give, right answers to you.

What about covetousness, and greed?
To these evils, we must not pay heed.
There’s something we should do, ev’ry day,
Ask the Lord Jesus, to show us the way.

When any temptation, comes to you,
Just ask yourself, what would Jesus do?
If you know in your heart, He’d walk away,
Just do what you know He’d do, each day.

Always ask yourself, “What would Jesus do?”
Answers that come, will be right for you.
The Lord wants to help us, and He will,
His Holy Spirit, light shall instill.

Most don’t think to ask, “What would Jesus do?”
They on their own, their troubles plow thru.
He is there to comfort, and give aid,
Thru misfortunes, or when we’re afraid.

Christ loves us, wants us on the right road,
Wants us one day to live, in His abode.
Jesus will never ever, wrongly lead,
Please friend, to Him and His Spirit, pay heed!

Love, kindness, and generosity,
All these blessings He gives freely.
Forgiveness from all our wicked sins,
Full atonement from Him we do win!

Goodness, great patience, and gentleness,
He’s just, and pure; and all righteousness!
Compassion, mercy, and wondrous grace,
‘Twill not be long, and I’ll see His Face!

He’s promised Heaven as my goal,
I praise my Saviour; He’s in control!
Just what is the worth of Christ, my Lord?
It can’t be counted, or put in words!

Do you know Jesus as Saviour and Lord?
Most do not; they reject Him, and His Word!
There are many people, our Lord refuse,
Have you refused Him? what’s your excuse?

Too many hypocrites to that church go,
You’ve never been there, just how would you know?
We need file only one thing on our shelf,
Each single one shall give account of himself!

Do you think you don’t need Christ to save you?
If that’s what you think, you do misconstrue.
Trusting Christ gives life nothing can sever,
Rejecting Him means life in Hell, forever.

Do you perhaps think your sin is too great?
Or do you maybe think for you it’s too late?
Our God can forgive you, please do not doubt,
“Him that cometh to me, I will not cast out.”

Most refuse to believe; what’s your excuse?
Excuses vary in those who refuse!
Do you think our God will no judgment do?
He spared not the angels, why would He spare you?

Some think they can get to Heav’n on their own,
Pride and self-righteousness He’ll not condone.
Not by works of righteousness which you do,
Only God’s tender mercy can save you!

What’s your excuse, on this beautiful day?
Friend, only Jesus, there’s no other way!
I pray you won’t say: “I’m not ready today,”
For it’s an excuse, and it’s the wrong way!

When I awake at the break of day,
I pray for guidance to show the way.
I ask for God’s wisdom, to pilot me,
And for His mercy, to set me free.

Before I ever get out of bed,
I speak to the Lord, to clear my head.
I ask for light for my daily path,
For I truly want to avoid His wrath.

As on my bed, I peacefully lie,
I pray that Christ, I will never deny.
I thank Him for all He’s done for me,
I will be grateful, for eternity.

I praise Him for my “mansion” above,
Prepar’d for me with His selfless love.
For all He is and does, Him I praise,
All glory and honor to Him I raise.

I ask that He lead, guide and direct,
And from the evil one, to protect.
I humbly ask that He be my Shield,
And that to Him, I completely yield.

I’d not make it one day without Him,
For all would be bleak and bare and grim.
But ev’n when things go wrong, He is near,
As He walks with me, He casts out my fear.

I must take time to speak with my Lord,
Then all seems to go in soothing accord.
I must take time, my praises to sing,
And to His Promises faithfully cling.

When I Come To You!

When I come to You for daily needs,
My humble request You always heed!
You always answer and always bless,
You dear Lord, are true righteousness!

When I come to You as I do mourn,
My repentant heart, You will not scorn!
I realize that my sins do displease,
You dear Lord, can forgive and appease.

When I come to You in my distress,
My greatest burdens You do repress!
You console me so graciously,
Only You dear Lord, love abundantly!

When I come to You in dreadful pain,
Comfort and strength from You I obtain!
You never fail to hear my humble pray’r,
Only You dear lord, seem to truly care!

When I come to You with my mistakes,
Your awesome compassion never forsakes!
Amazing mercy, like a river flows,
Only You dear Lord, set my soul aglow!

When my friends abandon, I come to You,
I can trust that You are loyal and true!
You will always listen, always hear,
For You dear Lord, are constantly near!

When I come to You, be it day or night,
You are ever present, to hear my plight!
You encourage me, with lovingkindness,
For only You dear Lord, can truly bless!

WHEN I CONSIDER - - - February 2010 Message

When I consider, all the wrong I’ve done,
I’m in no way worthy, of God’s own Son.
Yet His amazing love is there for me,
Forgiving my sins, and setting me free.

The devil had me; I was tied and bound,
Because the love of Christ, I had not found.
I would hear Him knock, and turn a deaf ear,
“Live righteously,” I did not want to hear.

I was stone deaf, and completely blind,
Christ was the last One, I had on my mind.
With my immoral ways, I was at ease,
And with my wickedness, Satan, I did please.

I often think, of those days in the past,
When Christ, from me, I did utterly cast.
I’m in no way worthy, of God’s own Son,
When I consider, all the wrong I’ve done.

But, our Lord abounds in love and mercy,
And He ne’er gave up, on the likes of me.
My evil, sinful past, He did forgive,
Gave me His Spirit, within me to live.

My precious Lord, and His amazing grace,
Always there for me, as I run my race.
He picks me up, when I stumble and fall,
And always answers, when on Him I call.

Does all the wrong you’ve done, cause you shame?
Did you consider, calling on Christ’s Name?
If you believe in faith, He will set you free.
And you’ll live with Him in Heav’n, eternally!

When I Consider

When I consider, Christ has always been,
And His greatest desire, is souls to win.
Precious Jesus, You are God Almighty,
Wanting all to have, life eternally!

When I think He left Heav’n, so willingly,
Knowing what lay ahead, was agony.
He came, knowing He would suffer and die,
Yet the Father’s wish, He would not deny!

When I really think, of Gethsemane,
And how He suffered, mental misery.
He knew that the cross, was the only way,
He had to be the Sacrifice, that day!

I think of the high priests, who condemned Him,
A horrible thing, to satisfy their whim.
Also false witnesses, stood up and lied,
Paving the way for Him, to be crucified!

I think of the crowd, that laughed Him to scorn,
They one day shall regret, that they were born.
Be not far from Me, for trouble is near,
There was none to help, in His time of fear!

His Hands and Feet, to the cross they did nail,
Their Messiah, these vile people, did fail.
They rejoiced, and mocked Him in glee,
Feeling no remorse, for His agony!

When I consider, what He did for me,
His Sacrifice brought, life eternally.
Faith in Your precious Blood, does justify,
All who accept You Jesus, and not deny!

When I go to Jesus, and humbly ask,
He will always help, in my greatest task.
He wants me to cast, all my pride away,
And be meek and lowly, like Him, each day.

When I go to Jesus, and wisdom request,
It is granted, and I am truly blest.
He wants me to open His Book each day,
Paying attention, to what it has to say.

I go to Jesus, when I’m down and blue,
He has never once failed, to see me thru’.
He leads me and guides me, in all right ways,
Never once will He e’er, lead me astray.

I go to Jesus, when my faith declines,
And when He increases it, it does shine.
My faith is the substance, of things hoped for,
Like the unseen things, on Heav’n’s glorious shore.

I go to Jesus, when I need pardon,
Forgiveness is mine, thru’ God’s only Son.
He cleanses me, from all unrighteousness,
One of the multiple ways, He does bless.

I go to Jesus, when I need directions,
As for incorrect roads, He chooses none.
He sees to it, that I walk the narrow path,
Keeping me away, from God’s holy wrath.

When I went to Jesus, many years ago,
He promised to save me, from Hell below.
Eternal life in Heav’n, is what He gave me,
A mansion in Heav’n’s, eternal beauty.

When I Leave You

When I leave this life, and to my other go,
Consider that I leave, all pain and sorrow.
All my many tears, will have come to an end,
For I’ll then be home, with my Saviour and Friend.

I loved you dearly, so you can only guess,
How much your returned love, gave me happiness.
God truly blessed me, with the love you’ve shown,
But now I must leave you, and go on alone.

My time on Earth has ended; please do not grieve,
My beloved Saviour, said it’s time to leave.
It’s only a short while, that we’ll be apart,
May you store good mem’ries of me, in your heart.

When you’re lonely, I won’t be far away,
I’m as close as your heart, each and ev’ry day.
Peace and comfort can come; I am near,
If you just listen to your heart, you will hear.

One day, my loved one, you must come this way too,
You will be amaz’d, at Heav’n’s beautiful view.
So much wonderful fellowship, in this place,
But, best of all, I see my Jesus, Face to face!

Rev. 21:4; John 15:13-15; Psalm 78:39; Heb. 13:14; James 4:14; 2 Peter 1:14;

Some of the ‘things’ I did, and I said,
When I look back; they cause me great dread!
I can’t see, how God put up with me,
Yet He gave me life, eternally!

When I look back, at how I lived then,
Sinning; over and over again!
So willing and shameless, I had no fear,
Of the awesome God, who was so near!

I “practiced” sin and iniquity,
Not knowing ‘that’ made God my Enemy!
When I look back, I really didn’t care,
Yet my precious Lord, was always there!

Then one day I thought: “I could go to Hell,
And there in agony, I could dwell!”
I then answered the ‘knock’ at my heart’s door,
Jesus came in! with His love, and more!

What a wonderful day that was for me,
After all those years, that from Him I did flee!
He forgave ALL my sins of wickedness,
And ev’ry day since, my life He does bless!

I regret ev’ry one, of those wasted years,
When I look back, I shed many tears.
Don’t you make the same mistake, I pray!
Open the door, to Jesus today!

When I need Him most, He’s close by,
And He won’t ever, my call deny.
There’s not a reason to be afraid,
He’s there to grant me His divine aid.

When my trials are great, He is there,
I just need to go, to Him in prayer.
There to help, in the blink of an eye,
Offering assistance from on High.

He gives rest in days of adversity,
He can remove, our calamity.
A mighty God, so wondrous and true,
There to assist me; and also you.

When trouble surrounds me, on ev’ry side,
I must not forget, in Him to abide.
A moment away, when troubles abound,
God, to His children, is easily found.

I need Him most, so oft’ when I’m down,
He’s always willing; never a frown.
I can’t praise enough, our Creator,

When I praise God, it magnifies Him,
I focus on God, all else is dim.
His presence, power, and ability,
Make me aware of His Majesty.

When I praise God, it does humble me,
I do see myself, as I should be.
Pride and ego are gone, far away,
Humility instead, comes to stay.

When I praise God, I see His pure love.
This true love comes only from above.
He died on the Cross to set us free,
Deep, heartfelt love, He gave you and me.

When I praise God, it opens my heart,
I want to please Him, and from sin depart.
Wanting only His will to be done,
To imitate Jesus, God’s only Son.

When I praise God, peace floods my soul,
This peace of which, just He has control.
With Him also is joy, ev’ry day,
Joy, that no one can take away.

When I praise God, I see many things,
He’s done so much, given great blessings.
If it were not for Him, we’d go to Hell,
And never, ever, in Heaven dwell.

When I think of my precious Saviour,
I think of endless love, true and pure.
His radiant smile I seem to see,
That smile is nothing less than victory!

When I think of God’s own begotten Son,
I know He’s the only sinless One.
He condescended so willingly,
Leaving Heav’n’s glory, for you and me.

When I think of what He did on the Cross,
I can’t comprehend; I’m at a loss.
He paid the price I could never pay,
To grant me admission to Heav’n some day.

When I think of Jesus, Lord and King,
I know that without Him, I’m nothing.
His Heav’nly Home with me He’ll share,
For I’m God’s child; with Jesus joint-heir.

Sin will block you from our wondrous God,
Fellowship is halted, as you trod.
Sin, like a dark cloud, will come between,
Standing between you and God, as a screen.

In sin, we lose the “joy of salvation,”
Satan smiles at our degradation.
God’s Holy Spirit, we should not grieve,
We must turn away, from our sin leave.

Sin will always make your pathway dark,
Darkness prevails, when to Satan , you hark.
Dark black nights are sin and wickedness,
Ruled by old Satan, in his finesse.

We must confess our sin, night or day,
Our great God, we must love and obey.
Lament, mourn, and weep; true sorrow show,
Then turn and run; from sin and Satan, go!

If we obey Him, our path is bright,
Christ will lighten, with glorious light!
With Christ, it’s always bright shining day,
His brilliance always lights the way.

When e’er you sin; that cloud comes between,
Dark will be the way; the path can’t be seen.
Of that sin, you must repent, and confess,
God will forgive; this He does promise.

When Troubles Come

When troubles come, and you’ve done all you can,
Turn it over to Jesus, the Son of man.
When you simply cannot do any more,
Jesus is near, your faith to restore.

When you feel like screaming, because of pain,
Great comfort from Jesus, you can attain.
When you think to yourself, I’ve done all I can do,
Jesus is near you, and He can help you!

When great sorrow comes, and won’t depart,
Jesus can help, He has a loving heart.
He knows what’s happening, He sees you grieve,
Jesus is near you, sorrow to relieve.

He will not take all your problems away,
But He certainly can, brighten your day.
In all your troubles, with you He will walk,
Go to Him in pray’r, and to Him talk.

Jesus sees all your pain and agony,
My friend, He can help give you victory.
Jesus is near, His Presence you can feel,
And the comfort He gives you, is very real.

Jesus can help you, why struggle alone?
His Presence to you, He wants to make known.
Trust Him always, He won’t e’er let you down,
Wearing a smile is better than a frown.

When we pray to God, we pray as sons,
“Our Father”, is how our prayer is begun.
We speak to Him as loving children,
He’ll not turn His back, nor will He condemn.

When we pray, we pray as worshippers,
“Hallowed be thy Name”, for He is pure.
None other deserves honor and praise,
Our gratefulness we should always raise.

When we pray, we pray as His subjects,
“Thy Kingdom come”; on this we should reflect.
His pure Kingdom will come one day soon,
We must be ready, midnight or noon.

We pray as His servants, bold and free,
“Thy will be done”, for eternity.
Humbly and gratefully, accept God’s will,
And patiently learn, we should be still.

We pray as sinners, evil and vile,
“Forgive us our debts”; that we’re reconcil’d.
We must forgive our brother in love,
That God forgive us, from His Home above.

We pray as helpless ones, thru’ His Son,
“And lead us not into temptation.”
Help keep the evil one far away,
That he not tempt and lead us astray.

The poor crieth unto Him, and He hears,
He knows their pain, affliction and fears.
He sets apart those who are godly,
Lord, You hear my pray’r, when I call to Thee.

We must stand in awe of God, and not sin,
Our heart must be right, ‘fore we begin.
Speak from your heart, and be still,
And blessings from God, our soul shall fill.

I called out to God in my distress,
My cry came to His ears, and He did bless.
The Lord hears the righteous when they cry,
Relieves their troubles, for He is nigh.

Blest be my God, He will not turn away,
His mercy is abundant, ev’ry day.
When to Him I cry, He always hears,
What a comfort to know, He is so near.

Far from the wicked, the Lord does turn,
But for pray’rs of the righteous, God does yearn
So to the Lord, I will look and wait,
For I know He hears, he won’t hesitate.

In my day of trouble, to Him I’ll call,
For I am certain, He won’t let me fall.
I’ll trust Him, as my soul meditates,
For He has promis’d I’ll see Heav’n’s gate.

We’ll never perish, but always endure.
Eternal life, to us He has giv’n,
He’s promis’d to us, a mansion in Heav’n.

At His precious Feet, let us choose the good part,
Let’s listen and learn, and never depart.
His Words will always, make a better day,
Lighting our path and showing us the way.

On His loving Bosom, leaning so near,
Fellowship with Him, removes our fear.

When you leave this earth, where will you go?
The Bible tells you, IF you want to know.
It’s clearly in there, in black and white,
The answer is in there, in plain sight!

God the Father lives, in Heaven above,
Our Mighty God, who is filled with love.
He sent His Son, to save you and me,
To arrange for us, life eternally!

To go on this trip, you must believe,
And in faith, Jesus you must receive.
You must trust and obey Him, ev’ry hour,
If you want His ne’er ending power!

You cannot work for, or buy this trip,
It’s FREE, no charge, let me give you this tip.
By faith are you saved, and by God’s grace,
And one sweet day, you shall see Jesus’ Face!

A horrid place, is the lake of Fire,
And going there, is NO one’s desire.
This is the second place, you could go,
To the fiery pits, so far below!

When you leave this Earth, where will you go?
The Bible tells us, IF we want to know.
We must trust and obey, the Son of God,
And follow His footsteps, as we trod!

Each of us has, a decision to make,
Two roads are before us, which will we take?
The small one leads to eternal life,
The broad one, to Hell’s eternal strife!

We must choose our, eternal destiny.
Heaven’s bliss, or Hell’s horrid agony.
Each of these places, are for e’er more,
I pray you choose, Heaven’s restful shore!

Millions of roads, scatter this world so wide,
But just two lead, to where one day, you will reside.
Lusting and luring, are the devil's way,
He wins over so, so many, in these sinful.

Each and every day, he wins many more,
Keeping them away, from the Golden Shore.
To keep them on his road, he tempts, he deceives,
With each passing hour, millions he receives.

Each day, Satan enlists to serve him, more,
Slyly, subtly, keeping them from the Golden Shore,
He leads them, on and on, down his hellish road,
Cleverly persuading, with tricky goads.

As you read these words, that concern eternity,
Are you racing to Hell? Or to Heaven so free?
The choice belongs to no one, except you,
Which road will you choose? The false one, or the true?

Which one? That broad one that Satan makes easy,
That billions of his children, follow with glee?
More and more vile sinners, join Satan's crowd,
And of their wicked sins, they are pleased and proud.

Which one? That broad, dark, easy to travel one?
Or the narrow path, as you follow God's Son"
Both roads will lead, to your eternity,
Which of these two roads, for you? Hell's prison? Or Heaven's glory?

Wicked Oppose the Righteous

The righteous and the wicked, oppose,
But the Judge, the difference clearly knows.
You can’t fool Him, for He knows all things,
Just the righteous receive, Heav’n’ blessings.

The wicked, only Hell’s fires will see,
And shall have, eternal agony.
The Judge will never, make a mistake,
No righteous to Hell, will He e’er take.

To the wicked, many sorrows come,
And Hell’s fires will be, their only home.
The righteous have, many trouble too,
But the Lord will always, help them thru’.

The wicked will flee, when none pursue,
The old devil, will not e’er rescue.
The righteous are as a lion, bold,
They are the sheep, in the Shepherd’s fold.

For sorrow of heart, the wicked cry,
The wicked ones, the Lord do deny.
The righteous have a heart, full of joy,
As His servants sing, in their employ.

Sin always increases, wickedness,
Bad ones multiply, as Satan does bless.
But the righteous ones, shall see their fall,
For they stand firm in Christ, bold and tall.

The face of the Lord, is against wrong,
The wicked, are in the devil’s throng.
O’er the righteous, are the Eyes of the Lord,
Because they believe, God’s Holy Word.

God’s Word states that just a few, would walk the narrow path,
The majority sin, bringing down God’s wrath.
They sin by not believing, what’s in God’s Book,
A Book of Truth, if they’d just open and look.

Most of the ‘well knowns’ don’t believe, and deny,
And too they refuse, to accept and rely.
“Ridiculous” is what some media state,
Judgment Day will bring the answer, to their fate.

GOD sees the wickedness in the Earth, is so great,
Man’s every imagination, God’s wrath frustrate.
Sin corrupting the Earth, is what God does see,
His verdict on Judgment Day, Hell eternally.

Those who believe not, are not in God’s fam’ly,
They follow the devil, in iniquity.
God’s children hear His Voice, and faithfully follow,
The devil’s own follow him, to Hell below.

Treacherous times lie ahead, as prophesied,
Yet more and more are rushing, to the devil’s side.
Most people never think, of eternity,
They just keep keeping on, in iniquity.

Judgment Day lies ahead, for one and for all,
Will you stand with the devil, and with him fall?
Or will you with Christ Jesus, take a firm stand?
Trusting and obeying, as is God’s command?

I don’t have to worry, He’s always close by,
Jesus will never, my prayers deny.

Who is it who holds Glory Land’s key?
‘Tis Jesus, the Lord of eternity.
A mansion awaits me, way up high,
For His righteousness, made me qualify.

Who am I? simply a nobody,
To the world’s eyes, and as most see.
Yet to the One, that it matters most,
I’m somebody, and of this I boast.

I’m a child of the Almighty King,
And this message, to lost souls I’ll bring.
From a beggar on poverty row,
To royalty, on whom great blessings flow.

I’m no longer a guilt-laden soul,
Since I gave Christ Jesus full control.
He had mercy, and He pardon’d me,
And since that day, I’m a somebody.

Who am I? somebody in God’s eyes,
Because His Son, I no longer deny.
A child of God; and in His family,
Thank You Jesus, You made me somebody.

Just who is ‘wicked’ in God’s eyes?
ANYONE, who will Jesus deny!
ALL who refuse to believe God,
ALL who think Jesus is a fraud.

MOST don’t consider themselves ‘wicked’,
But without Christ, they are as dead.
Spiritually dead, in God’s eyes,
Doomed to Hell in the by and by.

Thoughts of the ‘wicked’ God does hate,
He is far from them, shutting the gate.
He won’t accept their sacrifice,
All that they offer, He denies!

Prayer from the ‘wicked’ WON’T be heard,
Tho’ they speak, with wondrous words.
He will hide His eyes, turn His back,
For it is Jesus, whom they lack!

If you reject Christ, God’s own Son,
To God, you are ‘wicked’, and He’ll shun.
Your unbelief calls God a liar,
And you are headed, for Hell-fire.

The greatest sin is unbelief,
Unless you change, you’ll have much grief.
Turn to Jesus, trust Him today,
He’s God’s own Son; He’s the ONLY Way!

Who are these that are ‘poor in spirit’?
It’s those whose lives to God they commit.
They depend on God for ev’rything,
They realize from God all blessings spring.

‘Those who mourn’, do you know who are these?
Those grieving sin, as a horrid disease.
The nature and results of sin they grieve,
For themselves and others, they are bereav’d.

Who are ‘the meek’ of whom Jesus talks?
It’s those willing to walk, as He did walk.
Living life under God’s authority,
And thanking Him for the serenity.

Who hungers and thirsts for righteousness?
It’s those who love God, and want Him to bless.
Those who accept God’s good and right things,
Those who love and praise Him, and to Him sing.

Those who are ‘merciful’, who are they?
Those who try God’s character to portray.
Showing undeserved compassion and love,
On all those around, as God above.

Too, of ‘the pure in heart’ Jesus speaks,
These strive earnestly God’s will to seek.
God’s Word simply cleanses them inside,
And God’s Spirit in them does abide.

Jesus speaks of ‘the peacemakers’ too,
They have a great job that they pursue.
They reconcile people to their God,
And to each other as this Earth we trod.

Does God’s Word state, who’s doomed to Hell?
Friend, over and over, it does tell.
Except that a man be ‘born again’,
He’ll not see Heaven; ‘tis very plain!

You must be born into God’s family,
And from all sin you must want to flee.
All that love God, are begotten of Him,
You must obey, or Heaven is dim.

The Gospel of our Lord, you must obey,
Or vengeance will fall on Judgment Day.
Eternal separation, God will give,
In Hell, for eternity, you will live.

If you choose this day not to know God,
Rejecting salvation, as you trod,
The ‘Day’ will come, God won’t want you near,
Your cries of pure agony, He won’t hear.

Our life here on Earth is very fleet,
One day soon, Almighty God we’ll meet!
When He does issue your last decree,
Will it be: “HELL FOR ETERNITY”?

Lord, who shall dwell in Thy Holy Hill?
Just those who love You, and do Your will.
Lord, You clearly state who that will be,
Your Holy Book tells us, so clearly!

We must walk uprightly, on our path,
If we are to avoid, Your righteous wrath.
We must work righteousness, as we go,
Or Your displeasure, will cause us sorrow.

We must speak the Truth, we must not lie,
Or on Your blessings, we cannot rely.
Our tongue must not blaspheme, or backbite,
Our speech should always, be good and upright.

To our neighbor, we must do no wrong,
O Lord, Your Words on this, are quite strong.
We must not take reproach, to those around,
If we want Your blessings to abound.

Contemned is a vile person, in Your eyes,
Only Jesus, can ev’r make them wise.
Lord, You honor all those, that fear you,
Trust and obey, is what we should do!

Who, But You Lord?

To our precious Lord, belongs our shield,.
All we need do, is trust and yield.
Let us sing of His mercies, always,
For His mercy is built up, all our days.

Your wonders Lord, the heavens praise,
Let us to You, our thankfulness raise.
Your faithfulness is what we can count on,
‘Tis shown so wondrously, thru’ Your Son.

Who can ever be compared to You?
No one has the majesty to construe.
You alone Lord, we must greatly fear,
Let us humbly bow, as your Throne we near.

Who, O Lord, has Your tremendous might?
Faithfulness surrounds You, day and night.
You rule the violent, raging sea,
Or calm it and still it completely.

Your mighty Arm is strong indeed,
All Creation is yours, and to You heed.
Justice and Truth are before Your Face,
Blest are all those who walk in Your grace.

God’s Hand is set o’er rivers and sea,
He alone can save, both you and me.
But is you do not trust and obey,
He must punish sin, there’s no other way.

His seed and Throne shall for e’er endure,
Just as the sun, moon and stars are sure.
You must be His friend, don’t cast Him away,
Or the bliss of Heaven won’t come your way.

Who Don't?

Who don't . . . want to go to Heav'n one day?
But, "few" choose to walk, that narrow way!
God's Word clearly states, "trust and obey,"
And says the Jesus, is the only Way!

Who don't . . . want God to forgive their sins?
Faith in Jesus, is the Way to win!
Justified by His grace, we are God's heir,
Because on the cross, our sin Christ did bear!

Who don't . . . want the blessing of God's peace?
And the chain of the devil, released?
With the armor of God, we stand tall,
Without it, Satan wins, and we fall!

Who don't . . . want the Lord's amazing grace?
And one day to see, His awesome Face?
When we can thank Him, for all He's done,
Our precious Redeemer, God's own Son!

Who don't . . . want to meet Christ in the sky?
This is for all, who would not Christ deny.
A special meeting, on a special day,
When our new bodies, we will display!

Who don't . . . want the Father's Divine love?
Great love sent from Him, from far above!
What a fantastic day that will be,
When we get to Heav'h, eternally!

Questions: who, what, when, where, why, and how,
I will answer them all for you now.
WHO? is Jesus? our Saviour and Lord,
To know Him not, you can’t afford!

WHAT? is it that Christ can do for you?
He’ll save your soul, IF you want Him to.
He paid the price when He died on that tree,
Redeem’d us from Hell, for eternity!

WHEN? should I turn to Him, to save me?
Now is the time; He’ll grant victory.
Jesus is the Christ; do you believe?
By your faith, salvation you’ll receive.

WHERE? would be the right and proper place?
Any place at all; God will grant His grace.
Humble yourself, repent and be saved,
You’ll no longer be the devil’s slave.

WHY? do you need Jesus as Saviour?
Only the Christ, Heaven can ensure.
Without Him, there’s just the door to Hell,
And there in agony, you will dwell.

HOW? can you reach that city of gold?
Accept Christ, and you’re into God’s fold.
You’ll no longer be God’s enemy,
You’ll be God’s child, for eternity!

With Christ Jesus . . .

With Christ Jesus, in Heav’n, you shall dwell,
Without Him, you will end up in Hell.
The Bible makes it, ever so plain,
Without Jesus, you’ve nothing to gain!

Will it be Jesus, or wealth untold?
Peace and joy, or a pot full of gold?
Comfort and bliss, or Hell’s agony?
Precious Jesus, or Satan’s mis’ry?

Will it be Jesus, or fortune and fame?
Walk with Jesus, or play Satan’s game?
Is Christ first, or does Satan have control?
Does Christ have your heart, or Satan have your soul?

Will it be Christ’s love, or Satan’s hate?
God’s forgiveness, or the devil’s fate?
A home with Jesus, or mis’ry in fire?
Which of these, is your eternal desire?

With Christ Jesus, you are for e’er blest!
Without Him, you’ll not have, eternal rest!
The Bible makes it ever so clear,
Without Jesus, you have so much to fear!

Without Christ we’re lost, to that eternal flame,
For we can’t be saved, by any other name.
Justified by His righteousness, we must be,
To have life in Heaven, eternally!

Without Christ Jesus, Satan will have his way,
He keeps on with his temptations, night and day.
Only Christ Jesus, can give you victory,
Christ can break the devil’s chains, making you free!

Without Jesus, your life will be mostly hate,
Trials and tribulations, will be your fate.
Only the Lord can bring, love to your heart,
And hate and wickedness, from you shall depart!

Without Christ Jesus, we’ll not cast lust away,
The devil will make sure, it is there to stay.
Only Christ Jesus, can turn your world around,
Only He can give you, blessings that abound!

Without Christ, the bliss of Heav’n, you will not see,
Instead it shall be, horrid Hell’s agony.
Only Judge Jesus, can give you a reprieve,
When you believe God, and by faith Christ receive!

Without Christ Jesus, your sins you shall retain,
When there is no forgiveness, your sins remain.
Just Jesus can cast, your sins into the sea,
Granting you pardon, for your iniquities!

Then one sweet day, with Him in Heav’n, you’ll abide!
A mansion in Heav’n, is reserved in your name,
Your faith in Christ Jesus, brings enormous gain!

WHY, Do We Fear?

The LORD is my shepherd, WHY should I fear?
Fear not; He is with us, He’s always near!
We shall not ever lack, any good thing,
The LORD grace and glory, to us will bring!

He maketh us in green pastures, to lie,
When we believe in Him, we qualify!
Beside cool, still waters, He leadeth me,
WHY should I fear, and why would I ever flee?

He restores my soul: I’ve nothing to fear,
A clean heart and right spirit, does appear.
He leads me in the paths of righteousness,
WHY should I fear, for my Shepherd does bless!

Though I walk through, death’s dark, looming valley,
WHY should I fear, my Shepherd is with me!
Thy rod and thy staff, to me bring comfort,
The LORD is my strength, He will never desert!

He sets a meal for us, before our enemies,
As we fellowship with Him, constantly!
The Lord firmly declares, we are His own,
By this we know, we are never alone!

He anoints with oil, our cup runs over,
The Lord by far, is our greatest Treasure!
He declares a blessing, of security,
The wonders of Heaven, eternally!

His goodness and mercy shall follow me,
With His amazing grace, which is so free!
He shall guide me, and receive me to glory,
What an end we have, to this life’s story!
