POEMS . . . T-ta-thi

When you have worry, that “blows your mind,”
Jesus is there, and He’s loving and kind!
Don’t let that worry, take hold of you,
Take it to Jesus, He’ll see you thru’!

When you have pain, that won’t go away,
Jesus is there for you, night or day!
His grace is sufficient, this you will see,
Take it to Jesus, He will hear your plea!

When you have sorrow, that fills your heart,
Jesus is there, for He will ne’er depart!
Don’t let that sorrow, burden your soul,
Take it to Jesus, let Him have control!

When you feel downtrodden, and so low,
Jesus is there, and He loves you so!
Don’t let those troubled times, keep you blue,
Take it to Jesus, He cares for you!

When you feel you’re in a topsy-turvey world,
Jesus is there, and His strength is unfurl’d!
Your ev’ry problem, be it large or small,
Take it to Jesus, He waits for your call!

Take it to Jesus, when things go wrong,
His awesome pow’r will make you strong.
When trials or troubles come your way,
Trusting the Lord, makes a better day.

Take it to Jesus, when you feel fear,
Let Him let you know, that He is near.
His tremendous Presence, you will feel,
Your fear is replaced, by peace so real.

Take it to Jesus, when friends forsake,
As His true friendship, you partake.
No better friend, will you ever find,
Jesus is true, loving and e’er so kind.

Take it to Jesus, when pain comes your way,
He can help make it a better day.
Thru’ it all, He will stand by your side,
For His calming Presence, does abide.

Take it to Jesus, when you have doubt,
He alone, can help you cast it out.
Your faith can increase, just simply ask,
As in His fellowship, you do bask.

Take it to Jesus, when temptations rise,
This you will do, if you are truly wise.
Satan will try you, where you are weak,
The pow’r of Christ Jesus, you must seek.

Take it to Jesus, when joy o’er flows,
When wondrous blessings on you He bestows.
Thank Him, that He stands firmly with you,
Praise Him, for being a Friend so true!

Do you have a burden, heavy on you?
There’s Someone who will help, carry you through.
Take it to Jesus, He really does care,
That dreadful burden, He will help you bear.

Do you have troubles, that won’t go away?
There’s a Friend who can help, this very day.
Take it to Jesus, there’s no better Friend,
Your troubles will decrease, with love He sends.

Do you suffer, with exhausting pain?
There can be great comfort, you can attain.
Take it to Jesus, and tell Him your need,
He’ll walk with you, as on His strength you feed.

Do you feel down, with great worry and stress?
Jesus can lift you up, and truly bless.
Take it to Jesus, He’ll remove your anxiety,
Peace takes control, so you live joyously.

Does your faith at times, dip ever so low?
It’s then to Someone special, you should go.
Take it to Jesus, your faith He can increase,
Just trust Him to give you, glorious peace.

Take it to Jesus, for a better day,
He will come thru’ for you, in ev’ry way.
When you trust His wisdom, guidance and pow’r,
He will be there for you, at any hour.

Jesus told the rich man, words to him dure,
“Go sell what you have and give to the poor.”
The man was grieved; for much things he had,
He would not put Jesus first, so, so sad!

To ‘Take up your cross’ , is yourself to deny,
Always put Christ FIRST, your wants, crucify!
If you can’t place Him FIRST in all you do,
You’re just not worthy of His love so true.

If you love things of the world, more than He,
Placing possessions first; Jesus will flee!
If you place any person before Him,
Eternal life for you is surely dim.

‘Take up your cross’; deny yourself today,
He’ll help bear your burden as you walk the way.
What shall a man gain if he lose his soul?
Always put Jesus FIRST, He’s in control.

For the knowledge of Christ, I count all things loss,
I trying my best to ‘Take up my cross’.
I count it all joy that He calls me “friend”,
Heaven awaits, when this life on Earth ends.

There was an awesome joy, that I never knew,
‘Til the day I open’d, my heart to You.
You made a diff’rence, in my lonely soul,
Since then, loving You, has been my goal!

Your caring smile, one day I will see,
In my new Home, of bliss and beauty.
I’ll reach out and hold, Your nail-scarr’d Hand,
As I walk with You, on that Golden Strand.

One day my hope and dream, will come true,
For I will spend, eternity with You,
Your soft, comforting Voice, I’ll hear,
For Lord and Master, You will be so near!

Lord, I lift up my soul unto Thee,
Let Your light shine brightly over me.
Lord, I trust You, now and for always,
Guide me on right paths, teach me Thy ways.

Let me never be ashamed of You,
In anything that I say or do.
Teach me Lord, and unto Thy Truth lead,
Let me serve You, as Your Word I heed.

Remember not my sins when I was young,
Nor the sins of my uncontrolled tongue.
For Thy goodness sake, have mercy on me,
Teach me, that I might not sin against Thee.

Good and upright are You, in all Your ways,
The meek You will guide and teach each day.
All of Your paths are Truth and mercy,
A humble request Lord; teach me, teach me.

Lord, pardon my sin, for it is vast,
Let my disobedience be in the past.
Let my soul within me, dwell at ease,
Teach me Lord, for it’s You I want to please.

The secret to You Lord, You we should fear,
Then Your love and mercy, will always be near.
Lord, let my eyes be ever toward You,
Teach me Lord, so I’ll always be true.

Psalm 25

Christ washed my eyes with tears, and I did see,
And He gave a soft and tender heart to me.
Christ washed away the things, that made me blind,
‘Twas then I saw that all clouds, were silver-lined!

Christ made me realize what was best for me,
I was glad from worldly things, I was free.
No more chains wound tightly around my soul,
Evil thoughts were gone; Jesus took control!

Jesus makes my eyes often, wet with tears,
Love and mercy are no longer in arear.
A caring heart, my Saviour gave to me,
Lord I pray, that I will always, this way be!

Tears have a great many reasons to flow,
Pain, heartache, adversity and sorrow.
Too, tears can come from joy and happiness,
Tears can be a way, that God does bless.

The joy found within us, is fed by tears,
Ev’n in deepest sorrow, and crazy fears.
For Christ washed my eyes, that I may see,
All the right roads, where He is leading me!

Tears come to many folks, normally,
Caused from pain, sorrow and agony.
Loneliness also can bring tears,
Tears too can come from worry or fear.

Tears too can come from a tender heart,
Where from a cold, hard heart, tears won’t depart!
Tears too can come from one who does love,
One with compassion, like God above.

Tears reveal the true person inside,
Yet many their real feelings, try to hide.
If Christ Jesus humbly brought forth tears,
We too should forget, our pride and fears.

Tears are a sign of goodness and love,
And a soft, grateful heart, from God above.
Tears show you are concerned and care,
Tears will never hinder or impair.

In a bottle, God has collected our tears,
He keeps track of our sorrows and fears.
In His book ev’ry one He records,
One day we’ll receive a fitting reward.

Tell it to Jesus, when you feel sad,
When you talk to Him, your heart is glad!
Sadness will leave, joy will take its place,
All because of His wonderful grace!

Tell it to Jesus, when troubles abound,
His wondrous love is simply profound!
Trials and tribulations, plague us all,
But they seem minor, when on Him you call!

Tell it to Jesus, when worry sets in,
Worry leads to doubt; and that is sin!
He has promised to supply our needs,
When you talk to Him, He will take heed!

Tell it to Jesus, when you’re lonely,
Your burden He will gladly help carry!
Loss of a loved one, who did depart,
Can be eased by comfort He’ll impart!

Tell it to Jesus, if you have grief,
Trusting in Him grants such great relief!
He’ll never leave you; never forsake,
Nor guide you into a bad mistake!

Tell it to Jesus, when things go right,
Praise and thank Him always, day and night!
An awesome Saviour, whom we adore,
Will grant eternal life, on Heav’n’s shore!

Tell it to Jesus, pray without ceasing,
Only He, can eternal blessings bring!
Tell it to Jesus, our Saviour and Friend,
For friendship with Him will have no end!

Tell It To Jesus

Tell it to Jesus, when things go wrong,
His awesome pow’r, can make you strong.
Tell it to Jesus, when you have fear,
His wondrous Presence, is always near.

Tell it to Jesus, When you’re weary and groan,
His abiding closeness, He will make known.
Tell it to Jesus, when sorrow o’er flows,
Tremendous comfort to you, He will show.

Tell it to Jesus, be it day or night,
When trouble is near, and no help is in sight.
Tell it to Jesus, when you have much grief,
His impressive pow’r, brings great relief.

Tell it to Jesus, when you’re laden with pain,
His abundant mercy, is such great gain.
Tell it to Jesus, when conflict abounds,
In Him unspeakable peace can be found.

Tell it to Jesus, when worry brings stress,
Love, mercy and grace are ways He does bless.
Tell it to Jesus, when depression sets in,
Don’t doubt, but trust God, for worry is sin.

When you tell it to Jesus, things go right,
Follow Him closely, walking in His light.
When you tell it to Jesus, He will bless,
Serenity abounds; peace you possess.

Most cults today deny Hell does exist,
Can’t they see? why do they God’s Word resist?
Avoiding the subject, won’t make them right,
God’s judgment will be the tale of their plight.

Anyone who’s called to bring God’s Word,
Must bring it all, and not any discard.
If we teach ‘bout Heaven, we must teach Hell,
For God does not want any, there to dwell!

We must issue clear warning, or we sin,
We must try very hard, lost souls to win!
Hell needs to be uncovered by God’s man,
Then maybe, from Hell, some will be banned!

Tell of our Jesus, and what He has done,
Do your utmost best, for souls to be won.
Tell of Heav’n’s beauty, and Hell’s agony,
And that only Christ, can set lost souls free.

THANK HIM FOR EVERYTHING . . . Nov.1997 Message

Thank Him for the sunshine, and for the rain,
The beautiful birds and their sweet refrain.
Thank Him for the morning, dewey and bright,

And abundant blessings, year after year.
Thank Him each morn’ as you rise from your bed,

The clothes you wear, and the shoes on your feet.
Thank Him for friends He has given to you,
They are special blessings we can’t construe.

Though at times they seem our nerves to fray.
But in the end, they will benefit you,
Making you stronger to see you through.

Thank Him for our family in the Lord,
Always love them, and be in one accord.
Thank Him each time you come in the church door,
Remember you came to praise and adore.

Thank Him for Jesus, our Saviour and Lord,
And for the Gospel that comes by His Word.
No one can come to the Father but by Him,
We must tell others, or their chance is dim.

We thank you Jesus, for your wondrous love,
Sent to us sinners, from the Father above.
We thank you for life in Heaven beyond,
Where we’ll live with you, since you we have found.

Thank You Father

Thank You Father, for making a plan,
To save the vile souls, of sinful man.
You knew all people, would disobey,
So You sent Christ, our sin debt to pay.

Sinful mankind, will always go wrong,
For they walk the road, with Satan’s throng.
What the world has to offer, they choose,
But when Judgment Day comes, they will lose.
Thank You Father, for sending Your Son,
‘Tis a wondrous thing, that You have done!
The plan of salvation, that You made,
Belief in Christ, and our debt is paid!

So many, just refuse to believe,
So simple a way, life they’ll receive.
They think there is something, they must do,
To ever get, a Heavenly view.

Thank You Father, that the poor can gain,
A Heav’nly home, where they can remain.
Not one penny, will they have to spend,
The simply on Jesus, must depend!

Thank You Father, that cripples can know,
Heav’n can be yours, if you want to go.
Faith in Jesus, can justify you,
And then you can be, one of the few!

Education, money, power, fame,
None can access Heav’n, just Jesus’ Name!
Thank You Father, that it is this way,
Believe what Christ did, on the cross that day!

No matter how poor a person is, no matter if they are crippled, weak or uneducated, belief in what Jesus did on the cross is the only way to Heaven. Scriptures for this poem: (Rom.1:17; 3:22, 26-28; 4:5, 24-25; 5:1-2, 9, 18; Jn.3:15-18, 36; 5:24; 6:40, 47; 8:51; 11:26; 12:44; 20:31; 1 Jn.5:10-13)

THANK YOU LORD . . . Nov.2008 Message

Thank You precious Lord, for little things,
I should thank You for the smallest blessing!
A smile, a hug, a friendly hello,
Are blessings from You, that You bestow!

Thank You for little things You do for me,
Such as an unexpected courtesy.
Things I fail to mention when I pray,
Nicities of life, that come my way!

For little things You do, I thank You,
Like fellowship with a friend so true.
A thoughtful deed done in lovingkindness,
Just another way that You do bless!

For these little things, that come my way,
So often I forget, when I pray.
Let me be more aware of Your grace,
‘Til that day I stand with You, Face to face!

THANK YOU, LORD . . . November 2009 Monthly Message

Thank You dear Lord, because You are You,
Our amazing God, wondrously true.
For all You do, thank You precious Lord,
Help me to walk with You in accord.

Thank You Lord, blessings You bestow,
You are there, when I cry in sorrow.
All the times I stumble, You are there,
And You lift me up, because You care.

Thank You Lord, for You answer my call,
No matter what trouble may befall.
You are there in the blink of an eye,
When I call to You, You ne’er deny.

Thank You Lord, for inexpressible love,
This care and concern comes just from above.
Compassion from You, like a river flows,
‘Tis a privilege that my Saviour I know.

Thank You Lord, for Your abundant grace,
I’m grateful that this blessing I taste.
You never give more that I can bear,
For all my burdens, You gladly share.

Thank You Lord, for You forgive my sins,
But just with You, can this battle I win.
Satan tries hard, to take me away,
From Your loving arms, each single day.

Thank You for my “mansion” You prepar’d,
Where I’ll spend eternity in Your care.
Thank You Lord, because You are You,
And from Hell’s misery, You did rescue.

THAT BETHLEHEM BABE . . . Dec.2000 Message

‘Tis hard to comprehend, how that Baby,
Could possibly in the God-head be!
But Baby Jesus, as in the manger lay,
God, His only begotten Son did display.

Our God descended as a humble Man,
‘Twas God, the Father’s well thought out Plan.
His bed was not adorn’d with silver nor gold,
But a wooden manger, in a barn so cold!

The Christ Child who came, is Master of all,
Those in palaces great, or huts so small.
Many angels welcomed Him, as they sang,
As their booming voices, in the night rang.

The Child, by the hosts of Heav’n was ador’d,
Christ Jesus, is the everlasting Lord!
The God-head was veil’d in flesh, perfectly,
The Babe was the Incarnate Deity!

The Heav’n born Prince of Peace, came that night,
To “whosoever,” He brings life and light!
He was born that we may die no more,
And gives us grand blessings He holds in store.

He was born to give us a second birth,
Came to save the souls of all those on Earth.
On that wondrous, holy night, long ago,
The Christ Child came, salvation to bestow.

This humble Man, was born for you and me,
To give us a GIFT: life eternally,
God’s Promise fulfill’d, the Messiah came,
That Bethlehem Babe; Jesus is His Name!

Did you ever consider that fateful day?
When God will take you from this Earth, far away?
Just where will He send you? just where will you go?
To be with Him in Heav’n? or to Hell below?

Our body returns to the dust of the land,
But what about the spirit, God gave to man?
It lives forever, not destroyed, nor asleep,
Either in Heav’n above, or in Hell, He’ll keep.

Did you ever consider that fateful day?
We have no power, the day of death to sway.
‘Tis appointed by God to men, once to die,
No mortal can change that, as hard as they try.

The death of God’s children, is precious to Him,
The spirit goes back to God, bright day, or night dim.
But, if you have rejected Jesus, God’s Son,
Your shame, contempt, and troubles, have just begun.

If you don’t know Jesus as Saviour today,
Change your destination of that fateful day.
He’s waiting at your heart’s door, wanting inside,
Open, accept Him, and in Heav’n, you’ll abide.

Evil, immoral ways wrack’d my life,
I had discontent, worry and strife.
Doing wickedness; I had no dread,
But praise You Lord, that old man is dead!

Gossip, cursing, backbiting and lies,
Jesus, I rejected and denied.
On Satan’s temptations I was fed,
Thank You Jesus, that old man is dead!

Worldly pleasures, I desp’ratly sought,
On my mind were evil, impure thoughts.
Sins were rampant; by Satan I was led,
Praise the Lord God, that old man is dead!

I’m so grateful, that old man is dead,
Jesus gave me a new one instead!
I’m a new creature; all things are new,
Thank You Jesus, I’m one of the “few”.

He gave me a new spirit and heart,
That old, hard, evil one did depart.
My spirit’s hunger and thirst were fed,
Praise Christ Jesus, that old man is dead!

Christ is the beginning of all good things,
His awesome Presence, many blessings bring!
God sent His Son to Earth, to redeem our soul,
And God also gave Him full control!

Trusting in Jesus, brings life eternally,
Just He can remove our iniquity.
Just He can bring you to Heav’n’s blissful shore,
Christ is the beginning of this, and more!

Christ is the beginning of joy and peace,
Your stress and your worries, He can release!
The peace He gives is a wondrous thing,
Contentment too, only He can bring!

Christ is the beginning of wondrous rest,
Tho’ at times He will put us to the test!
He allows troubles to come, our faith to try,
Those who endure, have wondrous rest on high!

In this life on Earth, He will always be near,
He loves us dearly, we need never fear!
Trusting in Christ, is just the beginning,

Some folk slave for riches of this Earth,
Then with pride, show off all they’re worth.
They have pow’r and wealth; but are not happy,
For all the best things in life are free!

Contentment can’t be bought; nor can love,
Peace and joy; these come just from above!
And nearly all strive for happiness,
But instead, many have great sadness.

Can money buy a true loving spouse?
Or a happy home; not a lonely house?
Can your money buy excellent health?
The best things in life, don’t come from wealth!

A true friend will stand by you always,
Won’t leave nor forsake, on your worst days.
The true love Christ shows, is always free,
With grace and mercy, for you and me!

There is a saying, and I agree,
“All the best things in this life are free.”
The wondrous blessings our God does give,
Makes this world a better place as we live.

When I get weary, the Bible is my Bed,
When I hunger, it is my daily Bread.
When it is dark, the Bible is my Light,
When I fear, it is Armor for my fright.

When I am lost, the Bible is my Guide,
When I’m hemm’d in, it opens doors so wide!
When I feel naked, it clothes me rich and warm,
When I’m tempest toss’d, ‘tis a refuge from the storm!

The Bible is a Sun, when gloom does depress,
Changing a dreary day, to one of brightness!
When I feel I’m sinking, in deadly quicksand,
The Bible reaches out, and grabs my weary hand!

When I feel as if, nothing at all I know,
Knowledge and wisdom, from the Bible flow!
When I feel lonely, great friends I find therein,
When I’m ill, the Bible, is my best Medicine!

Struggling in life, the Bible gives me wings,
Consolation and pow’r, it truly brings!
When the world around, seems ugly and bare,
The Bible is a Garden, of beauty so fair!

The Bible gives comfort, by showing God’s love,
And great joy of knowing, there’s Heav’n above!
There’s a “mansion” for me, waiting up there,
And a wondrous Saviour, who truly cares!

God will forgive us, the Bible does tell,
And we can for eternity, in Heav’n dwell!
But we must trust Christ, who is so perfect,
And Him as Saviour and Lord, we must accept!

The Bible Does Not Exaggerate

The Bible, only the Truth does tell,
It speaks of Heav’n, but also of Hell.
Heav’n is a place, of bliss and glory,
While Hell is a place, of agony.

The Bible clearly states, right from wrong,
It tells us to avoid, Satan’s throng.
The eternal God, wants us to know,
To His Home on High, He wants us to go.

Many Promises to us, God makes,
Such as, “I’ll ne’er leave you, nor forsake.”
All God’s Promises, are ours to claim,
Let us claim them, in Christ Jesus’ Name.

When troubles arise, where do you look?
Have you e’er thought of, God’s Holy Book?
All correct answers, can come your way,
If you are wise, you’ll do it today,

The Bible does not, exaggerate,
On the worth of Jesus, O’ so great.
It speaks of His awesome love, so true,
And what He endured, for me and you.

Have you e’er consider’d, what He has done?
This Man, God’s only begotten Son.
He paid a sin debt, He did not owe,
So we’d not have to go, to Hell below.

Exaggeration, God’s Word does not do,
All its pages, are completely true.
What it states about Christ, you must believe.
Or the glory of Heav’n, you’ll not achieve.

The Birth of Jesus . . . Dec.1996 Message

When Jesus came, all those many years ago,
Born of a virgin, as the prophets did show,
In a humble manger, used as a bed,
‘Twas no room at the inn, so a barn instead.

Just what does His Birth mean, to you and me?
He came down from Heaven. to set us all free.
It only began, with His marvelous Birth,
He died on the cross, for us, here on Earth.

When we think of His Birth, it gives great joy,
He came as our Victor, and sin to destroy.
He brings gladness and happiness, to our hearts,
Just knowing He’s near, and will never depart.

The world can never have, the peace that He brings,
This feeling deep down, makes us happy we live.
We need not be troubled, nor have any fear,
For He came to Earth, to always be near.

His Birth also gives us, that eternal hope,
Power to keep going, when Satan does grope.
He brings salvation, to all who will believe,
Eternity in Heaven, we will achieve.

Do you have room for Jesus? or shut Him out?
Do you want to go to Heaven? He’s the only Route.
He was born in that manger, to save our soul,
Just turn to Jesus, and Heav’n shall be your goal.

Those not listed, go to Hell, for e’er to cry.

If not, you’ll not set foot, on Heav’n’s stair!
You can’t get to Heaven, on your own,
For all are sinners, Christ’s Blood must atone.

The Blood of Jesus, so precious and dear,
It can cover all your sin; list’ and hear!
Trust and accept Jesus, you’ll be Heav’n bound,
Your name in the ‘Book of Life’ shall then be found!

If your name in this Book, can’t be found,

THE CHRIST . . . Dec.2006 Message

In tiny Bethlehem, would be born our Lord,
This unique Baby who would be adored.
To the throne of David, He would be heir,
One day He’ll bring peace on Earth, everywhere.

He was the promised seed of Abraham,
The only begotten Son, of the “I AM.”
From the tribe of Judah, He would descend,
This Awesome One, who would become, man’s best Friend.

Born in a barn, a manger for His bed,
As His virgin mother, stroked His sweet head.
Shepherds were watching their flocks that night,
When God’s glory, shone round them with great light.

A multitude of angels came suddenly,
Praising our Lord God of the heavenlies.
Highest glory to God, and peace on Earth,
Praising God and honoring Jesus’ birth.

What wondrous love God on us does bestow,
Such amazing grace to us He does show.
Christ came to Earth to die, for you and me,
So we all could have life, eternally.

THE CHRIST OF CALV’RY’S ROAD? . . . April 2015 Message

Do you know the Christ of Calv’ry’s road?
The Christ that carried that heavy load?
Weary, stagg’ring; with head bowed low,
A Man acquainted with grief and sorrow.

Do you know the Christ of Calv’ry’s road?
The Christ that left His Heav’nly abode?
He condescended for you and me,
Paid our debt, and set our sinful soul free.

Do you know the Christ of Calv’ry’s road?
The Christ from whom that precious Blood flow’d?
He was despis’d; we esteem’d Him not,
Yet our very souls, this Christ, has bought.

Do you know the Christ of Calv’ry’s road?
He can help carry your greatest load.
Only this Christ can grant peace and rest,
Joy you will have; for you will be blest!

Do you know the Christ of Calv’ry’s way?
If not, He cries out, to you today!
This Christ can grant eternal life above,
Heav’n will be yours, by His wondrous love!

The ‘call’ to salvation is so clear,
God’s Holy Spirit is always near.
He convicts the hearts of ev’ry one,
But only a few turn to God’s Son!

The ‘call’ to consecration is there,
Put Christ first; for Him you must truly care.
Above all treasures, and all you love,
If you don’t, you’re not fit, for above.

The ‘call’ to separation is plain,
In evil and sin, you can’t remain!
You must withdraw from all wickedness,
Or you’ll displease God, and He’ll not bless!

The ‘call’ to self-denial is real,
Say “No” to your wants, as to Him you kneel.
Take up your cross, and follow the Lord,
All else is loss, ‘cept Him and His Word!

The ‘call’ to service is evident,
If we belong to Christ; we are sent.
Imitate Him; we must trust and obey,
And in Heaven we’ll live, some sweet day!

The clock keeps ticking, time slithers away,
We have no control, to make the clock stay!
The control is in the Hand of our God,
Not only here, but the world abroad!

We each have allotted time on our clock,
Each one different; God we should not mock.
No one does know when our time will be thru’,
If you think you can change it; you misconstrue!

When our time runs out, and our clock does quit,
What will happen to your soul, your spirit?
It does not die, as Satan’s children say,
The soul lives forever; it lives alway!

There are two destinations; Heav’n and Hell,
You are destined for one; where you’ll dwell.
Heav’n is only for those who trust God’s Son,
Hell is for the millions, who reject in fun.

The clock keeps ticking, time just rushes by,
You must make preparations, ‘fore you die!
Once your body dies; it will be too late,
My friend, choose the right road, please do not wait!

The Constant Need

Isaiah 58:11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. (KJV)

My soul does not cease, of the constant need,
To honor and praise You, and give You heed.
I feel as Isaiah, no words can provide,
How my heart feels, as in You I abide.

Like a watered garden, to us You tend,
On Your goodness, we can always depend.
Like a spring of water, You don’t deny,
Your Fountain of kindness, will not run dry,

So many things You do, run thru’ my mind,
Blessings You bestow, because You are kind.
Abundant blessings, You bestow each day,
Leading and guiding, each step of the way.

I thank You, for Your watch care over me,
Day or night, You watch continually.
I thank You for the angels, who stand guard,
Who keep away all danger, from me barred.

I thank You, for eternal salvation,
Giv’n to me, by Your dearly beloved Son.
Redeemed, from the eternal lake of fire,
Promised Heav’n instead, that I would acquire.

Your lovingkindness, and amazing grace,
Make me know one day, I’ll meet You Face to face.
So I’ll keep off’ring, the sacrifice of praise,
My heart-felt gratitude, to You I’ll raise.

So many reasons, for the constant need,
That gratitude and honor, from me must proceed.
I must praise and thank, the dear LORD above,
For all the goodness, that comes from His love.

Of the true church; Christ is the ‘Cornerstone’,
Only He for all our sins did atone.
Yet many refuse to build on this ‘Stone’,
They follow Satan, and Christ is not known.

God chose one ‘Cornerstone’; His one Son,
A sure foundation, for every one.
The ‘Head of the Corner’ is Christ our Lord,
Reject Him, and by God you’ll be scorned!

We must build on Christ, the ‘Chief Cornerstone’,
All else will fail, except Christ alone!
If you build on sand, it will wash away,
Don’t let Satan mislead with his deray.

Building on sand, is man’s works and deeds,
My friend, our God will never take heed!
If you reject the ‘Stone’, Christ, the Lord,
God will reject you, and to Hell discard.

This ‘Stone’ is precious, elect, and true,
He wants us to build on Him, me and you.
All who believe on Him are Heav’n bound,
And their name in the ‘Book’ shall be found!

If we fall on this ‘Stone’, and build on such,
Our works shall stand, our reward is much.
But he that builds on stubble, wood, or hay,
His works shall be burned, on ‘Judgment Day’.

The ‘Cross’ is a reminder to my mind,
That such love as His, you simply can’t find!
He died on that ‘Cross’ in sheer agony,
To save us from Hell; from God’s wrath, we’re free!

The ‘Cross’ reminds me to always thank Him,
For all things He brings; whether bright or dim.
There’s a silver lining in all clouds He sends,
All our hurts and deep heartaches, He mends.

The ‘Cross’ reminds me of joy and peace,
These blessings from God give great release.
The comfort and warmth these things surely give,
Make me so happy that my Saviour lives!

The ‘Cross’ reminds me of ne’er failing love,
Pure, everlasting love; from God above!
Love so marvelous, He gave us His Son,
If you accept Him; salvation is won!

The Cross of Christ looms, ‘tween God and you,
Those to make it across, are very few.
Christ wants to be your Saviour and Friend,
But to most today, His Cross offends.

If you don’t believe this very day,
‘Tis the Cross of Christ, that’s in the way.
Christ is standing outside your heart’s door,
To give eternal life, and so much more!

Christ on the Cross, paid your way to Heav’n,
It’s a Gift of God, so freely giv’n.
Our Lord holds the key to Heaven’s gate,
But you must accept Him, ‘fore it’s too late.

The Cross of Christ can be a bridge for you,
Leading directly to God so true.
You are able to live in Glory Land,
But you must take hold of Jesus’ Hand.

On one side or the other, you stand,
Of the Cross of Christ, and Jesus’ Hand.
If you stand with Christ, you’ll go to Heav’n,
To stand beyond the Cross; Hell is giv’n.

The Cross of Christ

At the cross, justice was satisfied,
And God’s Holy Law, was magnified.
At the cross, atonement was fully made,
As the wondrous love of Christ, was displayed.

The cross of Christ, is a special place,
Where the Lord Jesus, you cannot disgrace.
The cross of Christ, is where you should kneel,
When discouragement, is what you feel.

At the cross, salvation can be found,
Christ has Heav’n’s only key, so profound.
The cross of Christ, can keep you from Hell,
Christ gives a mansion, where you can dwell.

The cross of Christ, so many reject,
But only Christ, your soul can protect.
Only a fool, passes by the cross,
Yet so many, consider it dross.

At the cross, is where our thoughts should be,
If we really want, life eternally.
We must have faith, in what Christ has done,
He paid our penalty, God’s own Son!

Faith in Jesus, makes us justified,
For you and me, He was crucified.
The why of the cross, we must not forget,
Christ paid it all, our souls to protect.

At the cross, we must know what was done,
Our sin’s penalty was paid, by God’s Son!
Christ died on that cross, for you and me,
His love gives us, life eternally.

THE CROWN AND CROSS WERE HIS . . . Mar.2002, 2016 Message

They borrowed a manger, to use as a bed,
For the precious Babe Jesus, to lay His Head!
They borrowed a colt, for Christ Jesus to ride,
A colt on which no one, had e’er been astride!

Christ borrowed bread, high on the mountain side,
That the crowd’s hunger, might be satisfied!
He borrowed two little fish, from a young lad,
In all the people there, ‘twas all to be had.

Jesus borrowed a boat, in which He sat and taught,
For the great multitude, His vast wisdom sought!
He borrowed a friend’s house, that He might rest,
They lovingly obliged, to this most special Guest!

They borrowed a room, the Last Supper to eat,
An Upper Room, that was high up off the street.
From a very rich man, they borrowed a grave,
Jesus’ sepulcher was a small, lonely cave.

The crown of thorns they crushed, on His precious Head,
Was not a borrowed crown, but His own instead!
The crown of thorns He wore, was His very own,
That dreadful, horrendous crown; was His alone.

The cross that He carried, so very painfully,
Is the cross where He died, in great agony.
That old rugged cross He bore, was His very own,
The cross where He bled and died, was His alone.

THE CRUCIFIED . . . April 2006 Message

Our eyes need a beacon, our tired feet a guide,
There’s One who qualifies; that is the Crucified!
We hunt for a meaning to all life’s mystery,
There’s One who can help; as He whispers: “Follow Me.”

There’s One who can comfort, in our deepest pain,
‘Tis the One who died on the cross, that life we could attain!
There’s One who can make us, God the Father’s friend,
The Blood He shed on the cross, in God’s eyes makes amends!

Everyone needs a shoulder, on which they can cry,
A Place of comfort, to which we’ll never be denied!
There’s One available, whether it be day or night,
I can hear Him whisper: “I will make things bright!”

Our tired aching body, needs a place to rest,
There’s One who qualifies; He’s been thru’ ev’ry test!
He offers peace and joy; we will never be denied,
There’s One well equipped; it is Christ, the Crucified!

There will come a time, when we hear Christ call our name,
High in the clouds; this time glory, no more shame!
If we believe that on that cross, Christ for us died,
Our new bodies will be Heav’n bound, with the Crucified!

Loftiness of men one day shall fall,
In that ‘Day’, they shall all fear God’s call.
Haughtiness of men shall be made low,
Trying to hide from the God they didn’t know.

Exalted shall be the Lord alone!
Evil, wicked men, shall wail and groan.
The ‘Day of the Lord’ will crush all wrong,
All the proud and haughty, and the strong.

Those that are lifted up shall be brought low,
God will one day, His sovereignty show.
When He ariseth, the Earth to shake,
All evil men, in their shoes will quake.

They will fear the Lord and His majesty,
For He’ll punish all for their iniquity.
He will shake the Earth, out of its place,
Gone is the day, of mercy and grace.

The ‘Day of the Lord’ cometh; ‘tis near!
His wrath and fierce anger, all should fear.
He will lay all the land desolate,
And destroy all sinners, out of it.

You need not go thru’ this awful ‘Day’,
Believe His Word; then trust and obey.
Accept His Son; He will save your soul,
Christ will grant Heav’n; He’s in full control!

It will surely come; the ‘Day of the Lord’,
A time spoken of much, in His Word.
A ‘Day’ God will “shake terribly the Earth”,
And all the proud ones, and those of much worth.

A time of destruction from our great God,
He’ll punish the evil, where e’er they trod.
All their wicked works and iniquity,
All will be doom’d, who are God’s enemy.

A time when God’s vengeance He will reveal,
Yet even then, to Him most will not kneel.
A time of darkness, terror and distress,
A ‘Day’ of horror, against wickedness.

Heaven and Earth shall move out of their place,
Islands and mountains shall flee from God’s Face.
A ‘Day’ of God’s fierce anger, and His wrath,
Not one, will be able to stand in His path.

It shall come to pass; so many will die,
And all because, God’s Christ, they deny!
This ‘Day’ is coming, and not far away,
Trust Christ, you’ll not see this dreadful display.

The Devil

Like a piranha, with lightening speed,
The devil tries, on your soul to feed.
You must beware, him you should fear,
You must be careful, don’t let him near.

As a massive shark, hidden from view,
The devil always has, his eyes on you.
You must consider, this crafty one,
Submit to God, and the devil will run.

Like a lion, ‘bout to pounce on you,
The devil’s tricks, are more than a few.
Deceiving you, in so many ways,
You must guard against him, ev’ry day.

Like a hunter, ready for the kill,
The devil’s tactics, to him are a thrill.
He’ll set many, cunning traps and snares,
Of this crafty critter, you must beware!

He deceives by making, wrong things look right,
You must always walk, in Jesus’ light.
You must stay close, to Christ ev’ry hour,
Just He can ward off, the devil’s pow’r.

When you take a firm stand for our Lord,
From worldly pleasures, you’ll be barred.
You’ll be tempted each and ev’ry day,
By the devil’s voice, wanting you to sway.

The devil’s voice, you’ll hear, ev’ry hour,
You need not give in, for you have pow’r.
The Spirit of Christ abides in you,
Resist the devil; to Christ be true.

The devil’s voice will tempt by pride,
You must stand firm, and in Christ abide.
He’ll tempt by pleasure; he’ll lie to you,
Don’t list’ to him, don’t look at his view.

The devil’s voice is subtle and sly,
He’ll try to make you, Jesus deny!
He’ll tempt by lies and hypocrisy,
Satan is your utmost enemy.

The devil’s voice will say: “It’s all right,”
To have those impure thoughts, day or night.
He’ll quote Scripture to lead you astray,
He wants you to follow the wrong way.

When you take a firm stand for our Lord,
The devil’s voice will speak with false words.
Submit to God, the devil will flee,
The power of Christ has made us free.

If there were no door; we’d not enter Heav’n,
But by God’s precious grace, a “DOOR” He’s giv’n.
Serenity, blissful peace, and much more,
Await in Heav’n, when we go thru’ the “DOOR”.

If we don’t use God’s “DOOR”, we can’t go in,
This “DOOR” is God’s Son, who’ll remove our sin.
Heav’n was made perfect by the Creator,
If you want to go, you must use the “DOOR”.

Jesus is the “DOOR”, and the only one,
Heav’n can be entered, by Him alone!

Wants you in Heaven, and He is the “DOOR”.

The Door Of My Heart

When the door of my heart, I opened wide,
You came into my life, with me to reside.
A special feeling, this peace deep within,
I now despise, the v’ry thought of sin.

The door to my heart, I kept locked before,
Will always be to You now, an open door.
Many awesome blessings, have come my way,
When I gave You access, that special day.

Into my life, You abundantly poured,
Such amazing riches, a precious hoard.
For my hungry soul, a feast You prepared,
The wealth of Your bounty, You gladly shared.

When that door opened, You became my Friend,
And I claimed Your Promise, life without end.
There can never, ever be, a greater prize,
Than the love that beams, from Your steadfast eyes.

I regret on my heart’s door, I kept a lock,
And let old Satan, my privacy stalk.
Things are different, since I opened the door,
Lord Jesus, I love You, each day more and more!

Are your feet trav’ling the downward path?
Are you headed for God’s righteous wrath?
That slipp’ry path will lead straight to Hell,
Where for eternity, you shall dwell.

The downward path; the easy way to go,
But it leads only to great sorrow.
Walking that path, gets easier each day,
But following Satan, leads to dismay.

The longer on the downward path you stay,
The harder it will be, to turn away.
The old devil will tempt and entice,
But friend, ‘tis you, who will pay the price.

Would you like to leave that downward path?
Do you want to be rid of God’s wrath?
On the narrow, upward path, set your feet,
And a most awesome Friend, you shall meet!

“I want on the path to Heav’n,” you say,
Trusting Jesus is the only way!
When you open your heart’s door to Him,
He’ll take you from that downward path of sin.

Christ Jesus was poor, I say with no dread,
A manger’s hay, was a pillow for His Head.
Born in a cold barn, with cattle and sheep,
But the Father was watching, to safely keep.

The Father was watching Herod’s evil schemes,
He safely removed Jesus, from the scene.
Swiftly to Egypt, the fam’ly did flee,
To be kept from harm’s way, so carefully.

As the Boy grew, the Father was watching,
In each day, was God’s abundant blessings.
The Boy’s wisdom astounded the Pharisees,
This Child of knowledge and great mystery.

When John the Baptist, did baptize our Lord,
The Father was watching; spoke special words.
“I am well pleased, with my beloved Son,”
I’m sure those around were completely stunn’d.

The Father was watching in Christ’s ministry,
As He spoke of His true identity.
“He that sees me, has seen the Father too,”
Jesus was saying, He was God thru’ and thru’.

That night, in the Garden of Gethsemane,
The Father was watching, e’er so closely.
“Let this cup pass from Me, but Thy will be done,”
These tormenting words, from God’s own Son.

As they unmercifully scourged God’s dear Son,
Our Saviour’s agony had just begun.
He then hung on the cross, and died for me,
While the Father was watching excruciatingly.

When at the foot of the cross I knelt,
O’erwhelming grief for my sins I felt.
But that great burden roll’d far away,
As I knelt at His cross, that special day.

As I knelt there, peace flooded my soul,
Welcome relief, for conflict took its toll.
Each day anew was worry and stress,
But kneeling there, God truly did bless.

Kneeling at His cross, the tears did flow,
Removing from me, all my sorrow.
Tension and strife had never left me,
But as I knelt, these things did flee.

Joy rushed o’er me, as I did kneel,
‘Twas so amazing, how I did feel.
Jesus’ Presence was ever so near,
Kneeling there, He cast out all my fear.

My life has chang’d, since that day gone by,
For I no longer, my Lord deny.
He made a new person out of me,
He made me a child of God eternally.

To be “born again” you too must go,
And humbly kneel in the cross’ shadow.
Tell Jesus: “I trust my all to Thee,”
And He’ll give you life eternally.

The “fountain of youth’ sought for by most,
Both the rich and poor, from coast to coast.
Millions of dollars are spent by these,
That their pride and ego, they might appease.

The ‘fountain of youth’ by most is sought,
In error, they think youth can be bought.
In truth, they all look in the wrong place,
Yet, on and on, for youth they do race!

The ‘fountain of youth’; where should we look?
The one true answer, is God’s great Book!
Eternal life is offered to all,
The rich and the poor; the great and small!

The ‘fountain of youth’ is Christ the Lord,
So very plainly told in His Word!
We need to look in the proper place,
Friend, that is just His glorious Face!

To stay ever young, there’s only one Way,
Accept Christ Jesus, this very day!
He’s the ‘fountain of youth’ for you and me,
He grants life in Heaven, eternally.

The gates of Heaven, or Hell’s fires,
Which of these two, is your desire?
Most folks have not thought much ‘bout this,
The terror of Hell, or Heaven’s bliss!

Most go thru’ life, not thinking of God,
Just their ev’ry day life, as they trod.
Just the comfort of each new day,
Is in their thoughts, as they go their way!

This Earth is not our perm’nent home,
We’re just pilgrims, as we do roam.
We’re given this time, to decide,
Where for eternity we will abide!

God does live, in Heaven above,
Where there’s peace and joy, and great love!
Those gates of Heaven, have just one Key,
Christ Jesus, is His identity!

Without our Lord, there’s just Hell’s fires,
On your own, that’s what you’ll acquire!
Only Christ Jesus has the power,
To deliver, at the right hour!

The grace of God is a blessing, true,
And it can be available to you!
Trust in Christ Jesus, God’s only son,
And God’s grace to you, has just begun!

God’s grace is mercy, we don’t deserve,
It’s abundant love, held in reserve!
Always accessible, if we need aid,
It casts away fear, so we’re not afraid!

Unlimited power, is God’s grace,
Such a wonder, for sins it does erase!
Too, it gives strength, for trials each day,
And wisdom to help us walk the right way!

The awesome grace of God, is always there,
Ev’ry single time, we go in pray’r!
The miracle of grace, sees us through,
All griefs and sorrows, of me and you!

When your heart is heavy, and you wail,
The grace of God, will always prevail!
When your soul is burden’d, and you mourn,
God’s wondrous grace, will surely adorn!

The grace of God is an awesome thing,
‘Tis just the start, of all God’s blessings!
But you must truly, trust and obey,
To ever have that grace, come your way!

To the blind man, “Go wash” He did say,
He did as told, and had sight that day.
Many lepers, by Jesus was seen,
He healed them all, by words, “Be thou clean.”

He cast out devils; healed all that were sick,
Words were the power; words did the trick.
Christ restored a man’s withered hand,
All diseases, He healed, thru’ the land.

The lame, blind, dumb, maimed and many more,
Were cast at His feet; and He did restore.
The lunatick was healed by His power,
That child was cured, that very hour.

The greatest Physician the world does know,
Healed vast multitudes that did follow.
Into the Temple, to Him they came,
There He did heal the blind and the lame.

A deaf and dumb man, to Him was brought,
A miracle, was what this man sought.
His ears were opened; and he spoke plain,
Knowing this ‘Doctor’ is such great gain.

He heals the body, also the soul,
The great Physician, can make you whole!
Turn to Christ Jesus, by faith today,
He’ll heal, COMPLETELY, and for alway.

This Doctor can heal, this very day,
Cleanse you from sin; send you Heaven’s way.
But you must have faith; YOU MUST BELIEVE,
God grants Heav’n, if His Son you receive.

Christ is the greatest possible gain,
Once you have Him, He’ll always remain.
Salvation thru’ Him is our greatest joy,
His ‘Gift’ to us, no one can destroy.

Thru’ Christ comes the greatest victory,
Triumph o’er death, the great enemy.
The greatest object; glorify God,
Now and forever, here and abroad.

The greatest knowledge we can possess,
Is to ‘know’ Jesus; for God will bless.
The greatest peace, is the peace Christ gives,
Passing all understanding, as we live.

The greatest bargain we’ll ever find,
Choose Christ and leave worldly ‘things’ behind.
The greatest inheritance, yet to come,
All the glory of our Heav’nly Home.

To lose our soul is our greatest loss,
Did you ever consider the cost?
The greatest neglect is salvation,
Turning your back on God’s precious Son.

The greatest crime, according to God,
Is to reject His Son, as you trod.
Your sentence: eternity in Hell,
There in agony, for e’er you’ll dwell.

God’s Spirit shall not always strive with man,
But today it seems God’s forgotten this plan.
But I’m here to tell you, God’s in control,
Of all the world, including your soul!

God grew impatient back in Noah’s day,
With mankind’s unending wicked display.
God set a time limit; hoping they’d change,
They would not listen, from God were estranged.

Noah and his family, secure in the ark,
Were the only ones safe; for God they did hark.
God’s Spirit did strive with the lost back then,
But they rejected Him, o’er and o’er again!

The day finally came, that God shut the door,
His patience had ended; He could take no more.
Ev’ry soul was destroyed, the world wide,
All except those in the ark; all safe inside!

God will never condemn to Hell, any soul,
Until His Spirit has fulfilled His roll.
Striving, convicting, wooing each single one,
Trying gently, but firmly, that heart to be won!

God’s patience will one day run out for you,
His Spirit will leave; His rejection through!
As long as you feel that tugging at your heart,
It’s not too late for you, from sin to depart!

Noah’s ark of old, represents Jesus today,
Are you like the many, God destroyed that day?
You can be like Noah; all secure inside,
Just believe God; and let Christ be your guide!

All lost souls about, I must pursue.
Good News of Jesus I am to bring,
That they might have life, everlasting.

Lord, I cannot do this job alone,
Please light my path so the way is shown.
I’m just a ‘branch’; Lord, You are the ‘Vine,’
I ask that your power might be mine.

Knowledge, understanding and wisdom,
These blessings, from you, I pray will come.
And words, precious words, please give to me,
That some may find life, eternally.

Let your Spirit guide me, and let Him teach,
That the lost I encounter, I might reach,
Your words, precious words, to me please give,

“Seek ye first the Kingdom of God,” are His words,
We need God’s righteousness, to be in accord.
Christ is the Ruler, in the Kingdom of God,
We must make Him ‘Master’; not some evil fraud.

The Kingdom of God must be firm in our hearts,
And Christ must be ‘King’, or from us He’ll depart.
His great Kingdom will last for eternity,
Trust and obey Him, and Heav’n is your decree.

Christ sits on the throne, in the Kingdom of God,
The Son of the Highest; and no one shall prod.
He’ll reign forever, His Kingdom has no end,
He is our Saviour; and wants to be your ‘Friend’.

Seek the Lord and His strength, and Face evermore,
If you want to see God, and live on Heav’n’s shore.
Call on Him, seek Him while He may yet be found,
Those who don’t, in Hell’s prison, they will be bound.

“Ask, it shall be given, seek, and ye shall find,”
Christ tells us this, so we won’t be left behind.
“Knock, and it shall be opened unto you,”
God can’t lie; this is precious little to do.

If we’d seek His Kingdom first, as Christ does stress,
He’d give us food and water, and clothes to dress.
He knows what we need, each day to get thru’,
“O’ ye of little faith” --- is He speaking to you?

When I lean on His strong Arm alone,
Great love from Jesus is clearly shown.
How can I possibly know defeat?
When vict’ry from the Lord, is complete!

Nothing is hid from His all-seeing Eye,
Not even one tear drop, nor a sigh.
Worry is something that need not be,
Trust the Saviour, and doubts will flee!

Dear Lord, let me walk in faith, this day,
Let me trust your precious Word, always.
No enemy, nor storm, shall I fear,
I know I am safe, when You are near!

He marks out my steps, forever more,
He leads me on, by going before.
As a Good Shepherd leading His sheep,
All who trust Him, He tenderly keeps!

Please grant me dear Lord, the strength today,
To aid in each task that comes my way.
Grant that I may live my whole life thru’,
Doing each day, the best I can do!

Lord, thank You for Promises You make,
Especially the one “I will not forsake.”
Lord, thank You for life eternally,
And thank You now, for peace and serenity!

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD . . . Feb.2002 Message

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want,
He provides all my needs, always abundant.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures,
Giving me rest, and food, that I may endure.

He leadeth me beside the still waters,
Giving refreshment to His sons and daughters.
He restores my soul; leads me in right paths,
Gives strength to honor Him, and keep from His wrath.

Walking thru’ the shadowy valley of death,
I know you are near, and you give me breath.
I fear no evil; for thou art with me
Giving me comfort, and walking so closely.

You provide food in front of my enemies,
Your abundant blessings flow so freely.
Goodness and mercy shall follow me, all my days,
And Heaven, with you, awaits; my eternal stay!
By: Connie Kramer Dec.14,1995 # 68
(Psalm 23)

My loyal Shepherd is Jesus, my Lord,
I will follow Him, in willing accord.
Trusting completely, I’ll follow Him,
For He lightens my path, it’s never dim.

I shall not want, He fills all my needs,
My thirst and hunger, He always feeds.
He restores my soul to righteousness,
So many ways, my Shepherd does bless.

He leads me only in paths that are right,
And He never lets me out of His sight.
For His Name’s sake, He does all these things,
Leading me on, to life everlasting.

Tho’ thru’ death’s shadowy valley I walk,
His Presence is near, as my fears He stalks.
His rod and His staff, they comfort me,
I’ll continue to follow Him joyously.

Secured and refreshed; my Shepherd provides,
Tho’ enemies are near, in Him I confide.
My cup runs over, I have perfect joy,
His wisdom, love and pow’r, I do employ.

His goodness and mercy shall follow me,
Here on Earth, and on thru’ eternity.
One day I shall dwell in His Home on high,
For my Shepherd states that I qualify.

Homes on Christmas eve, are filled with guests untold,
But the Lord of Christmas, is left out in the cold!
Eating, drinking and dancing, till the morning light,
But the Lord of Christmas, is left out in the night!

Gala gifts galore, beneath the Christmas tree,
For the Lord of Christmas, not ev’n one for Thee!
Such joyous, happy faces; not one is grim,
For the Lord of Christmas, not one smile is for Him!

Christmas feast on the table; how folks do eat,
But the Lord of Christmas, is left hungry on the street!
Christmas holiday finally comes to an end,
But the Lord of Christmas, rarely has a friend!

Such joy and happiness, people do display,
Most forget the Lord of Christmas, was born that day!
Showing of love is good, but the rest is pagan sprees,
Lord of Christmas, we should show more love to Thee!
By: His servant, Connie Kramer May 5, 2000 # 690
My husband and I no longer celebrate "Christmas" as we once did.
We now consider it a pagan holiday and want no part of it. If it
were a "Godly" holiday, a day where people praised and honored and glorified CHRIST . . . WHY would SO many heathens celebrate it? Christ was NOT born in December! We believe that Christ should be honored EVERY day, NOT just one day! See our article: http://www.hisservants.org/christmas_h_s.htm

Deeper than the deepest part of the sea,
Is the love of our Lord, for you and me.
Love sincere, coming from deep in His Heart,
Love for God’s children, will ne’er depart.

His love is wider that the Heav’n’s above,
As wide As His outstretched Arms, is His love.
As He hung on the cross, and died for you,
So wide is His love, and merciful too.

His love is higher than Mount Everest,
And friend, it will stand your toughest test.
Higher and brighter than the clear blue sky,
Here for us now, on thru’ the by and by.

Our Saviour’s love is perfect and complete,
Friend all your needs, His awesome love can meet.
Just His love can see you, to Heav’n above,
What a tremendous Lord, what amazing love.

Your spouse or friends can cut you to the quick,
But Jesus’ love is there, thru’ thin and thick.
You will never have a better Friend,
The love of Jesus is there to the end!

Those you love best can say harsh, evil words,
This won’t happen in friendship with our Lord.
Always there to aid with grace and mercy,
The love of Jesus is there, constantly!

Those you trust the most can walk out on you,
But Jesus’ love for you is tried and true.
He will never abandon, nor forsake,
Trust Jesus as your Friend; it’s NO mistake!

Those you care about at times act with hate,
Jesus is love; always compassionate.
Jesus loves you, and He really does care,
He will never leave you; He’s always there!

The love of Jesus, makes me feel whole!
Love, gently flowing, from Him to me,
Today, tomorrow, and for eternity!

Thru’ my heart, like a river flowing,
The love of Jesus, graciously glowing!
Quietly flowing, from His Heart, to mine,
No one, no where, this love can outshine!

Thru’ my mind, flowing like a river,
The love of Jesus, is there for ever!
Ever so softly, never ceasing,
Bringing comfort, and pow’r releasing!

Like a river, flowing thru’ my all,
The love of Jesus, wondrously befalls!

Many times in quiet Galilee,
Jesus walked beside the peaceful sea.
Oft’ times He would sit and speak with men,
Telling the Gospel, again and again!

Christ Jesus did teach the gather’d throngs,
Always teaching right, and never wrong.
Many times close to the Galilee,
Teaching erring ones, teaching purity!

Gentle Jesus’ touch, could the leper heal,
He made blind eyes see, and hard hearts feel.
Always urging, from their sin to turn,
And for closeness to God, they should yearn!

One word from Him could calm the raging sea,
Or free the lost soul, from agony.
He showed awesome compassion and love,
This only begotten Son, of God above!

Sinless Jesus met the Wicked One,
For the devil tempted, God’s own Son,
But Christ o’ercome evil, by purity,
This impressive Man, from Galilee.

This awesome Man, is Jesus our Lord,
Our precious Saviour, who should be ador’d.
This tranquil, kind Man from Galilee,
Can bless you with life eternally!

Most important in the world to me,
Is not what most folk would think to be.
The greatest asset I have, is God’s Son,
For with Him, I’ll ne’er see perdition.

Such great joy and peace within my heart,
For I know deep down, He’ll ne’er depart.
He’s with me now, today and always,
To the end of this Earth’s fleeting days.

He gives me victory o’er my sin,
A wondrous Saviour, always has been!
He paid the debt I could never pay,
And the Father’s wrath, from me did sway!

Christ died on that Cross, that I might live,
All that He had, for me He did give.
This kind of love the world does not know,
Only Christ Jesus this love could show.

When my brief life here on Earth is thru’,
He’ll see that my angels will rescue!
They’ll carry my soul to my Heav’nly Home,
Into God’s presence; and I’ll ne’er roam!

If you do not know my wondrous “Friend”,
He’s there for you, and life He’ll extend.
Only my Jesus can give Heav’n’s key,
And in Heav’n you’ll live, with Him and me!

Lord, You are the one and only Way,
That I can have true love, day after day.
Care and concern and compassion too,
This is the true love, that comes from You.

Lord, You are the one and only Way,
That I can have peace, that the world can’t sway.
Peace like a river, that floods my soul,
This kind of peace Lord, just You control.

Lord, You are the one and only Way,
That can bring contentment’s beaming ray.
Yes, I am completely satisfied,
For You’re with me always, side by side.

Lord, You are the one and only Way,
That I can have joy, day after day.
In You I have gladness and pleasure,
Fellowship with You, is my greatest treasure.

Lord, You are the one and only Way,

Path of Light, The . . . May 2007 & Jan 2012 Messages

On the path of light, with You I’ll walk,
So You can assist, when Satan stalks.
I’ve not a chance, against Satan’s darts,
If You and I Lord, are far apart.

On the path of light, with You I’ll stay,
For I need Your Presence, ev’ry day.
Without You Lord, I would surely fall,
But with You Lord, I can do it all.

I’ll stay with You, on that lighted path,
‘Tis how I avoid, the Father’s wrath.
Darkness and evil, from me will flee,
For You dear Jesus, take care of me.

Staying with You, on the path of light,
Removes my worries, doubts and my fright.
Such a comfort, to have You so near,
Your perfect love, casts out all my fear.

On the path with You, lighted so well,
Eliminates all terror of Hell.
I will with Your help, on that path walk,
And fellowship with You, as we talk.

Keep me please, Lord, on that narrow path,
For I want none of, the Father’s wrath.
In Heaven with You, I want to dwell,
And just You Lord, the Father’s wrath can quell.

The peace of God is a wondrous thing,
Those who have it want to shout and sing!
The Lord will bless His people with peace,
A wonderful gift, that will increase.

Great peace have all those who love God’s Word,
‘Tis giv’n abundantly by the Lord.
In perfect peace, our great God will keep,
In light of day, or night when you sleep.

As a gentle river, is God’s peace,
Your strain and worry, does find release.
This peace, just the righteous can obtain.
God graciously gives, to relieve life’s pain.

Peace: is a legacy from our Lord,
It plainly tells us in God’s holy Word.
We need not be troubled, nor have fear,
For the Spirit of Christ, is always near.

The peace of God, I cannot explain,
I know, just thru’ Christ, can you obtain.
Only God’s children can possess this peace,
Just God can grant abundant increase!

The road of life is rough and bumpy,
And at times it’s surely hard to see.
No matter how dark, there is a ‘Light’,
Christ will help us with His pow’r and might.

The way is unseen but not unsure,
With the pow’r of Christ, you will endure.
As we travel on the path unknown,
Trust Jesus, and the way will be shown.

Will the day ahead bring joy or sorrow?
We cannot tell; only He does know.
We may suffer in our hour of pain,
But the pow’r of Christ with us remains.

We should run to Christ, never away,
For He gives pow’r that we should not sway.

The pow’r of God is superb, and wondrous,
From the depths of Hell, our God can save us!
Tho’ we were dead in trespasses and sins,
His pow’r quickens, and a new life begins.

Before, according to the world we’d walk,
Satan’s children; and as such, we would talk.
In times past, we’d fulfill fleshly desires,
Greedy; vast worldly treasures we’d acquire.

But God and His awesome pow’r stepped in,
Giving peace when He remov’d the chains of sin.
The Father, thru’ Christ, we can now access,
We now walk in light, no longer darkness.

We must be strong in the pow’r of the Lord,
Put on the whole armor, as told in His Word.
That we might for Christ, boldly serve and speak,
As in the world, all the lost ones we seek.

Tell of Christ, for we know not when He’ll come,

In the quiet beauty of the night,
His Presence seems like a brilliant Light.
His purpose for me is clearly shown,
To the lost souls, make His Gospel known.

In the bustling confusion of the day,
His near Presence is with me always.
He plainly shows what He wants of me,
Try to change a lost soul’s destiny.

His near Presence, is encouraging,
All the day long, my heart wants to sing.
His purpose for me, He shows so clear,
Boldly bring His Gospel, with no fear.

His majestic Presence makes me glow,
‘Tis a privilege, my Saviour to know.
“Go ye therefore,” He clearly demands,
His desire: that I obey His command.

Tho’ persecution abound, far and near,
I must serve my Master, with no fear.
Man can hurt my body, but ne’er my soul,
For my Saviour, is always in control.

A far better thing, to be with my Lord,
Service to Him will bring great rewards.
His awesome Presence now, comfort brings,
As He rains on me, abundant blessings.

Traveling is easy on the road to Hell,
Satan surely sees to that, wants you there to dwell.
There are many good intentions, seen too late,
That cannot keep you from Hell’s awful gate.

Hell does not scare men away from their sin,
But ev’n knowing this, we must try, souls to win!
‘Tis a dreadful place; chains, darkness, fire, pain,
With no escape; no light, ever again!

Wide is the gate, broad is the way to Hell,
We must try to warn folk, and of Christ, tell!
We must teach ‘bout Hell, with tears in our eyes,
Tell of our Saviour, and Heav’n in the skies.

He is the ROCK, His way is perfect,

ALL His ways are just, thru’ eternity,
Pure and right, without iniquity.

There is none as holy as our Lord,
We must love Him, He should be ador’d.
Gracious Lord, there is none beside Thee,
Our God, the ROCK, for eternity.

He helpeth me, each day that I walk.
Of the ROCK be mindful, never from Him flee,
And never forget the God that formed thee.

The Lord is my ROCK, and my shield,

A God of Truth, without iniquity,
Always pure and just and right is He.

As for God, always perfect are His ways,

The Holy Word of the Lord is tried,
Promises He makes, are not denied.

There is no God, except our precious Lord,
He is the Rock, according to His Word.
Unto Thee alone, my Rock, will I cry,

He alone is my Rock and salvation,
Erasing sins and degradation.
He is my defense, He is my Shield,
I shall not be moved, when to Him I yield.

Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I,
My Shelter and strong tower, I’ll not deny.
Let me build on the Rock, on Him alone,
This the Spirit of God, to me makes known.

On the Rock of offense, many stumble,
For there is much pride, few are humble.
You’ll not be asham’d, if on Him you believe,
Just open your heart’s door, and him receive.

Build on the Rock, and He’ll lead you to Heav’n,
To those who believe, great blessings are giv’n.

Walking down a lonely, dusty street,
A Special Man, with sandals on His feet.
Love beamed from His glorious Face,
Love that came from His Heart, wondrous grace.

This Special Man; when He look’d at you,
Could see your very soul, thru’ and thru’.
What an Awesome Man, to know all things,
Knew your thoughts, ‘fore from your mouth they’d spring.

He was so loving, patient, and kind,
Took pity on the lame, sick and blind.
Such compassion; no one can compare,
He spread His great mercy, ev’ry where.

This Special Man, was meek and lowly,
His Face was filled with serenity.
Never a cross word did He e’er say,
For He came, His Father, to portray.

Never from Him a vile or vain word,
Serene, gentle, and mild, was our Lord.
The Words He spoke, made you stop and think,
Those Words were for God; a direct link.

This Special Man, with powers untold,
Can grant you access, to streets of gold.
He too, shall judge all the world one day,
So make the right choice; go the right way!

THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST . . . March 2015 Message

The Spirit of Christ is wholly divine,
Pure, sacred and holy; for e’er to shine!
The Spirit of Christ is deity,
But all too many from Him do flee.

The Spirit of Christ is fearfully wise,
With knowledge He’s willing to devise.
The Spirit of Christ is righteousness,
Always trying to take us from darkness.

The Spirit of Christ is tender and warm,
Not wanting to do anyone harm.
The Spirit of Christ is quiet and calm,
With never a misgiving or qualm.

The Spirit of Christ is gentle and mild,
He’s never savage, cruel, or wild.
The Spirit of Christ will persevere,
He’ll not leave nor forsake; have no fear!

The Spirit of Christ is compassionate,
He’ll help in our trouble, what e’er our fate.
The Spirit of Christ is lowly and meek,
All our heavy burdens, He does seek.

The Spirit of Christ is so patient,
Wanting all the lost souls to repent.
The Spirit of Christ wants to forgive,
So that in Heav’n, with Him, we can live.

The Spirit of Christ wants to liberate,
Our sin-filled life, He so does hate.
The Spirit of Christ is purely love,
Sent by the Father from Heav’n above.

THE STONE ON THE TOMB . . . April 2001 Message

Why was the stone on the tomb roll’d away?
You must admit, ‘twas an awesome display!
Was the stone moved, so Christ could get out?
‘Tis a subject, most don’t think about!

The stone was roll’d away from the sepulcher,
This had to be, an amazing picture!
Mary Magdalene, was the first to see,
Jesus had risen! the tomb was empty!

The stone was moved, so others could get in,
To see the great vict’ry, Jesus did win!
He was raised from the dead; He was raised!
Praise be to Almighty God! Praise, praise praise!

The stone was roll’d away, so they could tell,
Christ was alive! all their fears they could quell.
Two angels in white sat where Christ had lain,
“He is not here, He is risen” they did explain!

The disciples were gath’red Sunday evening,
In their midst stood their Master and King!
The doors were shut, but that didn’t stop the Lord,
The hearts of these men, were indeed stirred.

Calmly He spoke to them: “Peace be unto you,”
He showed them His Hands so they’d know He was true.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,”
We must tell the world, Christ is our salvation!

Storms come, but soon the clouds roll away,
The sun then shines thru’, and makes a better day.
Life at times, can be like a dark storm too,
We must let the Sunshine of Christ, see us thru’.

When storms of life come, we need not walk alone,
Jesus is there, making His Presence known.
He’ll share our heavy burdens, and our grief,
The Sunshine of Christ, can be great relief.

No storm is ever a forever thing,
Dark clouds break away, and sunshine bring,
No matter how bad a storm may seem,
The Sunshine of Christ, will cast its beam.

When a storm of life comes to you,
What is the first thing that you should do?
The Sunshine of Christ, this I recommend,
Jesus can help you; there’s no better Friend!

The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, side by side,
The leopard and kid, together shall reside.
The calf and young lion together shall eat,
A little child shall lead them down the street.

The cow and the bear’s young ones shall lie together,
Lions shall eat straw like the ox, in the pasture.
The toddler shall play on the hole of the asp,
In a snake’s den a child his hand can cast.

The Earth shall be full of knowledge of the Lord,
As Almighty God is simply adored.
To the root of Jesse, Gentiles shall seek,
And glorious shall His rest be, to the meek.

People will live in the houses they build,
Eating fruit of their vineyards till they are fill’d.
Ev’ry man shall sit under his own fig tree,
Laziness will be gone, for eternity.

Judging the Earth, our Lord of purity,
He will judge all people with equity.
With righteousness, He shall judge ev’ry one,
Lord of lords, King of kings, God’s only Son.

Nations shall beat their swords into plowshares,
There will not be any wars, any where.
Satan will in the bottomless pit be bound,
That he should not deceive people nor confound.

The time I have left, be it hours, days or years,
I commit to You, without any fears.
I know You will guide and protects always,
You will see me thru’ the rest of my days,

As I go thru’ each day, serving You Lord,
I covet ev’ry encouraging word.
Satan tries to suppress, desperately,
Lord, I ask that You give me victory.

With the time I have left, I must serve You,
But You must give wisdom and words so true.
I must try to reach lost souls ev’ry where,
Bring them the Gospel, to show them You care.

The time I have left, be it years, days or hours,
I commit to You and Your gracious pow’r.
I thank You for Your tender watchcare o’er me,

Jesus, your time to come is so near,
I gaze at the clouds, without a fear.
Soon, in the clouds, with a great shout, you’ll come,
To take those ‘in Christ’ to their new Home!

Deceivers are many, in the world today,
Saying they are Christ; leading astray!
Wars and rumors of wars, all about,
Christ said it would happen; so don’t doubt!

Famines, disease, earthquakes, near and far,
Sorrows from all these, and hateful war.
Many false prophets shall deceive folk,
Sin will abound; and true love seem a joke.

Only of their own selves, shall men love,
Greedy, proud, boasters; they push and shove!
Disobedient to parents, unthankful,
Unholy, blasphemers, unmerciful.

Natural affection, is no more,
Liars, fierce, high minded; bad to the core!
Loving pleasure, more than they love God,
Showing ‘godliness’, but complete frauds.

All these He has told, must come to be,
Then Christ can claim His ‘bride’, in victory!
Be ready, for we know not the hour,
Christ will come in the clouds, in great power.

Mt.25:13; 2 Co,11:2; Rev.19:7)

Joseph and Mary were nobodies, in that day,
Peasants from a nothing town, pretty far away.
Slowly, they made their way, to tiny Bethlehem,
God was setting the scene, and His plan included them!

The Baby Mary carried, was not a Caesar fraud,
Not a mortal ruler, who would CLAIM to be God.
But a far greater wonder; God became a Man,
What a wondrous event, and so hard to understand.

When they came to the inn; ‘twas no room to be had,
Just a crude stable, but they did not think it bad!
In this humiliation, the Son of God was born,
NOT a prince or king, but a pauper, forlorn.

We must ne’er forget, this is where it all began,
Christ comes to all those in need, this being God’s plan.
He is born in the hearts of those poor in spirit,
Another wondrous event; God and man are knit.

God’s angel told the shepherds of this special birth,
Shepherds were a lowly group; and not of much worth.
The angel said the ‘GOOD NEWS’ was for ALL people,
Christ was born to save us, and make our lives more full.

Christmas is not enough, just about His birth to HEAR,
We must THINK about the Christ, in much Godly fear!
It’s not enough to LOOK at all the manger scenes,
Then go about your business, like you’d not even seen!

Christmas may make you FEEL good; you love all the bells,
But unless Christ is ‘BORN IN YOU’ all roads lead to Hell!
He came into this world, for just one special aim,
That He be ‘born in you’ and for your soul to claim!
By: His servant, Connie Kramer #70 Dec.15,1995
My husband and I no longer celebrate "Christmas" as we once did.
We now consider it a pagan holiday and want no part of it. If it
were a "Godly" holiday, a day where people praised and honored and glorified CHRIST . . . WHY would SO many heathens celebrate it? Christ was NOT born in December! We believe Jesus should be honored EVERY day, NOT just one day a year! See our article: http://www.hisservants.org/christmas_h_s.htm

The Vast Realm of Eternity . . . June 2009 & Jan.2011 Message

Consider the life that is to be,
In the vast realm of eternity.
Do you think, of what the future holds?
Will you e’er walk, on that street of gold?

The river - - - clear and pure, did you know?
The water of life, from God’s Throne flows.
In the midst of the street, on each side,
Is the tree of life, that God provides.

No more curse, shall e’er again be found,
Just blessings from the Lord, will abound.
We shall at last see, His precious Face,
And first hand feel, His amazing grace.

There shall never be, any more night,
Just the brilliance, of our Saviour’s Light.
No sun or moon, will this City need,
Glory from God and the Lamb, shall proceed.

No more death, sorrow, crying or pain,
From all these things, we shall abstain.
Nothing that defiles, shall enter in,
Gone will be wickedness and sin.

Consider now, the other life to be,
In the vast realm of eternity.
Most will go in, thru’ Hell’s one lone gate,
The Lake of Fire, is the sinner’s fate.

No exit doors, just smoke and darkness,
Here, God’s Glory is gone; He won’t bless.
God’s wondrous Presence, you won’t e’er see,
You’ll be bann’d for e’er, from His mercy.

Agonizing screams, will never cease,
Christ is not there, so you’ll have no peace.
All the wonder of Heav’n, you’ll never see,
Just non-stop suff’ring, eternally.

Only two roads, to eternity,
One leads to bliss, the other - - - agony.
Your future in your own hands, you hold,
Eternal suff’ring - - - or the street of gold.

The ‘Voice of the Lord’ speaks oft’ to me,
Warning of sin and iniquity!
Trying to show right roads to take,
Trying to keep me from bad mistakes!

The ‘Voice of the Lord’ speaks to my heart,
Love and comfort to me it imparts!
It tells me just how much He does care,
Wants me of His love, to be aware!

The ‘Voice of the Lord’ to me does speak,
Assures me of His pow’r when I’m weak!
For I know without Him, I am nothing,
O how I love my Saviour and King!

The ‘Voice of the Lord’ speaks soft and low,
Each time I hear it, it makes me glow!
For it always leads in all right ways,
Leading me onward to Heav’n’s arrays!

The ‘Voice of the Lord’ sounds above the sea,
It’s filled with power and majesty!
It can boom as thunder in a storm so fierce,
Or e’er so softly, your heart it can pierce.

The ‘Voice of the Lord’ can be filled with wrath,
For those who refuse to walk on His path.
Those who reject Him, and won’t believe,
His Voice one day will say: “Hell you receive.”

The ‘Voice of the Lord’ can be filled with love,
Just simply believe our God from above!
Trust and accept Him, and His Voice obey,
For to access Heav’n, there’s NO other way!

The Wicked Oppose the Righteous

The righteous and the wicked, oppose,
But the Judge, the difference clearly knows.
You can’t fool Him, for He knows all things,
Just the righteous receive, Heav’n’ blessings.

The wicked, only Hell’s fires will see,
And shall have, eternal agony.
The Judge will never, make a mistake,
No righteous to Hell, will He e’er take.

To the wicked, many sorrows come,
And Hell’s fires will be, their only home.
The righteous have, many trouble too,
But the Lord will always, help them thru’.

The wicked will flee, when none pursue,
The old devil, will not e’er rescue.
The righteous are as a lion, bold,
They are the sheep, in the Shepherd’s fold.

For sorrow of heart, the wicked cry,
The wicked ones, the Lord do deny.
The righteous have a heart, full of joy,
As His servants sing, in their employ.

Sin always increases, wickedness,
Bad ones multiply, as Satan does bless.
But the righteous ones, shall see their fall,
For they stand firm in Christ, bold and tall.

The face of the Lord, is against wrong,
The wicked, are in the devil’s throng.
O’er the righteous, are the Eyes of the Lord,
Because they believe, God’s Holy Word.

I go the way of all the Earth,
No matter my place, or my worth.
We all must go when God does call,
No matter how big, or how small.

Death does come, to you and me,
We all must walk thru’ death’s valley.
Death’s doorway will be won by all,
Unless in the clouds comes God’s Son.

When we walk thru’ the dark shadows,
To all God’s children; Heav’n’s bestow’d.
So as we walk, we need not fear,
His loving presence is so near!

Death is NOT extermination,
It is instead, germination!
Our soul shall never, ever die,
It lives for e’er, in Hell, or Heav’n high.

You’ll go the way of all the Earth,
No matter who you are, or your worth!
You too will go when God does call,
To Heav’n high, OR to Hell you’ll fall!

The will of God, will never lead you,
Where His grand wisdom won’t see you thru’.
His loving Arms, will always be there,

The will of God, will never forsake,
No matter how many, errors we make.
His tender mercies, will always sustain,
Showing He’s with us, and shall remain.

The will of God, supplies all our needs,
If only to His Voice, we will heed.
Abundant are His riches in glory,
Which He showers on us, all for free.

The will of God, gives us many things,
His Holy Spirit great comfort brings.
Peace, joy and assurance, we receive,
Such great assistance, we do achieve.

The will of God, will never take you,
Where His constant love, is held from view.
Sufficient is, His amazing grace,
As we strive patiently, to win the race.

There will be only one, winning team,
Led by our Saviour, who does redeem.
The other team shall lose, drastically,
For Satan leads, to Hell’s agony.

Christ Jesus leads to Heav’n’s glory land,
When we trust in Him, and take His Hand.
Satan leads you, to the pits of Hell,
Where in non-stop horror, you shall dwell.

The fierce battle goes on, constantly,
Where two coaches vie, for your loyalty.
With one you will be on the big, broad path,
The Other leads away, from God’s wrath.

So forcefully, the conflict goes on,
Tis Satan fighting, with God’s own Son.
We all can choose, to which side we’ll go,
The end of one is bliss, the other sorrow.

We’re all in a battle, ev’ry day,
We must pick a team, as we go our way.
Tis a spiritual fight, we must not lose,
We must be careful, which side we choose.

Spiritual warfare goes on ev’ry hour,
We must not give in, we must not cow’r.
Our faith in Christ will carry us thru’,
He is my Captain, He can be yours too.

Psalm 23: Rom.8:38-39; 1 Cor.10:13; 2 Cor. 1:3; 2-4; 1 Pet.4:12; James 1:2-4;

Each morning, I go to God in pray’r,
In hopes that He will end all my cares.
As my eyes open to the new day,
God gives me light, and shows me the way!

When I face a problem I can’t solve,
Pray’r gives me peace, and worries dissolve!
When I go to God, my strength re-news,
Life’s troubles take on a diff’rent view!

With God, nothing is impossible,
Pray’r brings to us, God’s pow’r in full!
My problems can’t be solved on my own,
I’m weak, and I’ll fall, if I stand alone1

Pray’r is like meeting God in the garden,
For when I ask, my sins He’ll pardon!
Pray’r is receiving from Him great pow’r,
That to the devil, I might not cow’r!

Without God’s grace and wisdom, we’ll lose,
Problems of life, will badly confuse.
We must go, to the Lord God in pray’r,
Only His help can remove our cares!

Without the pow’r of pray’r, we will fail,
Man’s best help, will be to no avail!
You don’t have to face, not one hopeless day,
God will always help you, when you pray!

The world overlooks, the Greatest Treasure,
All they desire, is riches and pleasures.
Just of the ‘here and now’, do people think,
They don’t realize that they, are on death’s brink.

The Greatest Treasure, the world cannot see,
For they never think, of eternity.
Always too busy, to ev’n look His way,
They are too busy, rushing thru’ their day.

The world overlooks, what Jesus can do,
He and He alone to Heav’n, can take you.
But most people think, there are many ways,
And they just reject, what the Bible says!

When the world, the Greatest Treasure denies,
Satan rejoices, and false hopes applies.
People follow him, on that big broad road,
That lead to agony, in Hell’s abode.

The world speaks of Christ, just in blasphemy,
Cursing, vile jokes, friend, this should not be!
And they call those who love Him, Jesus’ freaks,
On Judgment Day, fear shall come, when Jesus speaks.

IF the world would just turn, to the Greatest Treasure,
He could give them comfort, peace and pleasure.
His grace is sufficient for us, always,
And He ne’er leaves, ne’er forsakes, all our days.

For the whole world, this Great Treasure is there.
Jesus is available, everywhere!
Be wise my friend, accept Jesus today,
For to get to Heav’n, there’s no other way!

My soul You guard well, my soul You keep!
Such precious light You shed on my road,
Lord, with You, I shall make my abode!

There, to comfort, when I have great pain,
Awesome contentment, I do attain!
My heart You console and satisfy,
Lord, because of Christ, I qualify!

There, to give me vast peace and joy,
No one, no where, can ever destroy!
This splendid feeling, deep in my heart,
Lord, please stay near, don’t ever depart!

There, to teach me, in all that I do,
Knowledge from You, Lord, is tried and true!
Never any falsehoods will You teach,
Lord, for Your wisdom, I’ll always reach!

There, to forgive, when I go astray,
Mercy is mine, all hours of the day.
Compassion comes in the form of grace,
Lord, You forgive, and my sins erase!

There, great love, You offer and show me,
That love is a wondrous mystery!
Sending Your Son; and if I believe,
Lord, my soul’s salvation, I receive!

Lord I thank You, for You’re always there,
Your Presence shows me, You truly care!
Thank You Lord, that You’ll never forsake,
Even when I’m wrong, and make mistakes!

There are two roads, which one will you take?
It’s a decision, ev’ry one must make.
The choice, is completely up to you,
But the Lord really does care, what you do.

There are two roads, one narrow, one wide,
Which one will you take, as thru’ life you stride?
The narrow one, is harder to stay on,
The wide one leads you away, from God’s Son.

The strait, narrow road, to Heaven will lead,
As with Christ you walk, and to Him you heed.
That big, broad road is easier, ‘tis true,
But on that road, Satan will walk with you.

Which road will you take? there are only two,
Look carefully, from eternity’s view.
The small road takes you, where the Lord resides,
The broad road goes, to where Satan will abide.

Consider carefully, the choice you make,
It’s either Heaven, or the Fiery Lake.
Heaven will be total comfort and peace,
Hell will be agony, with no release.

He delivered my life out of God’s wrath,
And He gave me light, to walk on His path.
There is no other one, better than He,
Glory, alleluia, Jesus saved me.

All the wickedness, that I’ve ever done,
Forgiven and gone, thru’ God’s only Son.
There is no other one, greater than He,
I’ll praise His Name always, for He loves me.

All the deceptions that Satan does try,
Come to no good, when on Christ I rely.
There is no other one, who has more pow’r,
My sacrifice of praise, is there ev’ry hour.

Wonderful Jesus, Saviour, Lord and Friend,
There for me always, till the very end.
There is no other one, who shows more love,
One day for me He’ll open, Heav’n’s gate above.

He justified me, with His precious Blood,
I’m washed white as snow, by His crimson Flood.
There is no other one, purer than He,

There is no other one, greater than He,
Glory, alleluia, Jesus saved me.

There is One who can give you victory,
Or will losing always be your legacy?
Jesus can give you pow’r, so you can win,
You’ll be able to ov’r come, bondage to sin!

There is One who can make your road look bright,
You need not go as if it were dark as night.
The Light of Jesus can shine on your road,
This grand blessing, on you can be bestow’d.

There is One who can grant you peace and rest,
And be with you always in all your tests.
You will have such joy, way down deep inside,
For the Spirit of Christ will always abide.

There is One who can make you the Father’s friend,
Being God’s enemy, leads to a horrid end.
Jesus can justify you in God’s eyes,
“Not guilty” can be the Father’s reply.

There is One who can be with you always,
Never leaving nor forsaking, all your days!
Just why would you settle for something less?
When you can have Jesus, the very best?

There is One who patiently waits your call,
Our precious Saviour, our All in All.
He will not ever, force Himself on you,
But open your heart, and He will rescue.

He leads me to green pastures and cool still waters,
Guiding me truly, so nothing else does matter.
He has promised to supply our every need,
What more can we ask of Him? we ought to take heed.

To the meek He has promised to teach us His way,
Always there to guide us, during the night or day.
For He is our God, for today and forever,
With us unto death, allowing nothing to sever.

He is there to guide us with His counsel so great,
If we would but listen to Him, we could walk straight.
Most follow Satan, on the crooked path of sin,
Even many Christians, to temptations give in.

So what is the answer, as we go thru’ the day?
This I can tell you, from old Satan keep away!
Turn your eyes upon the One who really is true,
He’s always there to guide you, whatever you do!

Listen closely for that still, small voice of the Lord,
His Spirit within you, really wants to be heard!
Don’t be too busy or indifferent this day,
For He is there to guide you, each step of the way!

There wasn’t much love, ‘til you came in,
My life was filled with evil and sin.
Hatred and malice were in my heart,
And cursing and lies, my days did start!

‘Til you came in, there wasn’t much love,
I never thought about God above!
Evil to my neighbor, I would do,
No one could count on my words to be true.

There wasn’t much love, ‘til you came along,
I lusted after all that was wrong!
But one sweet day, things started to change,
You, Jesus, my life, did re-arrange!

Now there is love, abundant and true,
Such wondrous love, could come, only from you!
Love fills my heart, for you Lord, and man,
I realize now, that this is your plan!

We must each fill our days with wondrous love,
Supplied from you dear Lord, from above!
Hate and bitterness from us must leave,
Replaced with love, so no one we’ll grieve.

Things God Cannot Do

Consider, are there things God cannot do?
There are many; don’t doubt it, this fact is true.
God cannot lie, all words He speaks stand firm,
And of eternal life, this He does affirm.

God cannot sin, He is eternally pure,
Of this fact, we can be forever sure.
Sin or evil, He cannot tolerate,
You must accept Christ, to see Heav’n’s gate.

God cannot reject, someone who believes,
He will accept them, when Christ they receive.
God cannot, in our life, take second place,
He must be number One, if we want His grace.

Your way to Heav’n, God cannot accept,
You must use His Plan, His Son, so perfect.
On Christ’s precious Blood, God cannot turn His back,
Without Christ Jesus, God’s friendship you lack.

God cannot change the past, but there’s no need,
For His all-knowing wisdom, does exceed.
Our forgiv’n sins, God cannot remember,
We need not doubt, we need not cower.

All the things our awesome God cannot do,
Are marvelous blessings, for me and you.
Our God is gracious, and full of mercy,
Loving His children, for eternity.

Many ponder on things Jesus did do,
Wonderful! for He was love, thru’ and thru.
But many and great are the countless things,
Things He did not do, that to us blessings bring.

As He hung on the cross, many things He could have done,
For He had vast pow’r, He was God’s own Son!
But Jesus did not, His own will demand,
Instead committed His all, to His father’s Hand!

He did not defend Himself, when He was accused,
But kept His silence, as He was abused.
When He was reviled, He reviled not again,
It was as tho’ His heart smiled, thru’ all the pain.

He could have called down, angels to rescue,
But He thought only, of me and of you.
He bought our pardon, on Calvary’s cross,
As His life’s Blood flow’d, He did not count it loss.

He did not save Himself, but gave His life so free,
As a sweet smelling Sacrifice, for you and me.
He did not come down, but on the cross did stay,
He paid our penalty, God accepted His way.

Jesus gave His life, out of love so great,
He did not stop loving, never did hesitate.
He so loved all sinners, in this world so wide,
The Lamb of God went to the cross, and there He died.

Jesus could have done things much differently,
Angels could have removed, His agony.
Have you accepted what Jesus did for you?
Only by believing, can you have life anew.

Things that you see, as you look around,
All He has made, is simply profound!
The bright morning sun, high in the sky,
The moon and the stars, we can’t deny!

Majestic mountains, mighty and tall,
Deep canyons below, where all looks small!
Beautiful waters, that hold life too,
God’s Handiwork, is hard to construe!

Such stately trees; and so many kinds,
Flowers galore, it baffles the mind!
Our gardens with harvests bountiful,
Come only from God, so merciful!

Spring rains, and the precious warm sunlight,
Turn ev’rything fresh and green and bright!
In autumn, He kisses all with frost,
For such brilliant splendor, He adds no cost!

Cold winter winds, then to Earth do come,
Making us thankful, for our warm home!
Pretty snow and ice, each year He brings,
Just our God, could ever change these things!

Things that you see, as you look around,
Beautiful and bright, that they confound!
Our dear God, is wonderfully wise,
He made it all, the Earth, seas and skies!

In His Image, He made me and you,
Our God is wondrous, loving and true!
He also made Heav’n where we can live,
And His Son as Saviour, He did give!

Think About

Think about Christ Jesus, crucified,
‘Bout the “few” who Him, have not denied.
Think about God’s love, for you and me,
And ‘bout where you’ll spend eternity.

Think ‘bout the many, on Hell’s broad path,
Their unbelief brings God’s holy wrath.
So few, about eternity think.
That’s why so many, stand on Hell’s brink.

Think about life’s many diff’rent paths,
Then think about our God’s holy wrath.
Millions never think of Judgment Day,
They just keep trav’ling, down the wrong way.

Think about all the world’s wickedness,
Then think about God’s love and goodness.
There are just two roads in life today,
One leads to Heav’n, the other Hell’s way.

Think ‘bout where you’ll spend eternity,
Think ‘bout Hell’s eternal agony.
Then think ‘bout Heav’n’s eternal bliss,
What could ever be better than this?

God allows us freedom to decide,
It is our choice where we will reside.
But when our life on this Earth is thru,
There will be no more choices for you.

Think about these words that I have said,
My friend, Hell will be eternal dread.
This life on Earth is where we decide,
The eternal place where we’ll reside.

Think of the most severe pain you’ve had,
Do you remember, how you hurt so bad?
In Heav’n there’ll be no pain e’er again,
For all those who are, God’s dear children.

Think of the deepest sorrow you’ve known,
Do you remember how your heart did moan?
In Heav’n there’ll not any sorrow be,
For all God’s children, for eternity.

Think of all the sad times you did cry,
Remember when people hurt you and lied?
There’ll be no sad tears on Heav’n’s shore,
Happiness for God’s children is in store.

Think of the death of a dear lov’d one,
Remember loneliness with no place to run?
In Heav’n, death no longer will take its toll,
Ev’rything there is in God’s control.

No more death, sorrow, crying, or pain,
Will God’s children e’er encounter again.
For former things are all passed away,
In Heav’n we’ll have only blissful days.

Blessed are they who our Lord obey,
For these will see Heav’n’s glorious array.
These will enter the gates of the City,
For e’er to have peace and serenity.

This Amazing God . . . Aug.2008 Message

What can you expect Christ to do for thee?
This amazing God of eternity.
If you’re God’s child, He’ll come thru’ for you,
With so many blessings, each day anew.

Every need you have, He will supply,
And your ardent pray’rs, won’t be denied.
Christ gave us access, to God’s Throne of Grace,
That we have help in life, as we run our race.

He will give you His Spirit, to abide,
Great contentment you will feel, deep inside.
A peace like none other, you’ve ever known,
Is placed in your soul, as His love is shown.

A storehouse of love, He will give to you,
When you become, one of the faithful few.
This deep well of love, will never run dry,
The more you give away, the more He’ll supply.

Wondrous joy is felt, no matter your strife,
For deep down you know, you have eternal life.
Too, deep down you know, He’ll not leave, not forsake,
You’ll feel His Presence, ev’n in your mistakes.

He’ll fully forgive you, when you repent,
To the bottom of the sea, your sins are sent.
This grand peace, not one other can supply,
On this amazing God, you can rely.

You can also expect, a mansion up there,
For our amazing God, truly does care.
But you must be God’s child, you must believe,
Or none of God’s blessings, will you receive.

For this day alone, Lord I pray,
Help me to walk the narrow way.
Help me to think, before I speak;
Help me that I may always be meek.

I pray Lord, for this day alone,
That You guide, and the way be shown.
Help me stay on the narrow road,
Help me to carry my heavy load.

For this day alone, I pray, Lord,
That I walk in willing accord.
One day at a time, I do ask,
Help me with each burdensome task.

For this day alone, Lord, I pray,
That Your Presence be near, always.
Your grace, is sufficient for me,
Lord, let me always, be doubt free.

This Evil World

Let’s honor God, as Majestic King,
The wise Creator, of ev’rything!
This evil world, simply overlooks,
All He has to say, in His Great Book!

Let’s honor God, the Maker of Laws,
Of which there is not, even one flaw!
This evil world, refuse to obey,
His wrath shall come, to all them one day!

Let’s honor God, for all evil He hates,
Him we must not, underestimate!
This evil world, their own rules invent,
God’s righteous wrath, on them shall be spent!

Let’s honor God, to do right always,
He has never changed, all of His days!
This evil world, the wrong always choose,
The delight of Heav’n, they all shall lose!

Let’s honor God, in all that He speaks,
It is all His Words, that we should seek!
This evil world, wants nothing to do,
With God’s grand goodness, holy and true!

Let’s honor God, His wisdom and love,
Who sent His Son to us, from above!
But this evil world, casts Him away,
My prayer is that they repent, this day.

Let’s honor God, and His righteous wrath,
Who tries to lead us, on the right path!
I pray this evil world, would repent,
That to the lake of fire, they won’t be sent!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)  . . . If you want to go to Heaven, where the Father is, you have to go through Jesus! Act 4:12  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (KJV) . . . Only Jesus can save your soul!

Galatians 5:19-23 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (KJV)
Romans 1:21-32 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (KJV)
Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. (KJV) . . . Do you do these things? STOP them!
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (KJV) . . . Are you the devil’s child? (1 Jn.3:10)
1 John 5:10-12 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (KJV) . . . God puts this in very plain language!
John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)
John 5:24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV) . . . The moment you are sincere and truly believe in Jesus, you have (hath) everlasting life!  No one can take it away from you!
Rev. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV)  . . . Is YOUR name in the book of life? Only JESUS can put it there!

Let me tell you ‘bout a Great One, indeed!
He has promis’d to supply all my needs.
He gives me more that I would e’er dare ask,
And power and wisdom, for each single task.

My each and ev’ry need, He anticipates,
And on my humble life, He concentrates.
For past sins and ingratitude, He won’t remind,
His loving compassion is always kind.

Let me tell you more of this Great One I know,
Who so many blessings on me does bestow.
His love is as earnest as it is true,
My friend, this Great One, is there for you too!

He makes many Promises; and ALL He’ll keep,
He is the Great Shepherd, of all the sheep.
I’m in His debt, yet He bids me call Him Friend,
And wonder of wonders, He’s there to the end!

This Great One is there, for you and for me,
Here, now in this life; thru’ eternity,
His Name is Jesus, our Saviour and Lord,
And He is much deserving, to be adored!

You, are as the largest elephant around,
I am as a bug, You could tramp into the ground.
I can offer You nothing, I’m nothing at all,
Yet when this humble child cries out, You answer my call.

Your awesome wisdom and strength, simply amaze me,
I’m simply a branch of the Vine, clinging to Thee.
My knowledge is meager, and as for pow’r, I’m weak,
But when this humble child falters, it’s You I seek.

You are as clean white linen, so pure and bright,
I’m as filthy rags, blacker that the blackest night.
None of my righteousnesses, could possibly please You,
This humble child must trust You, in all that I do.

You are holy and righteous, and always have been,
I’m evil from the day I was born, full of sin.
Desper’tly wicked, is my cold, stony heart,
This humble child needs help, from sin to depart.

You love us so Lord, as if Your love is on fire,
But with me, You are not always my first desire.
I know I should love You, with all my heart, soul and mind,
But this humble child blunders, as if I were blind.

Help me Lord, to be who You want me to be,
For I really do long, for life eternally.
Ceasing from sin is what I look forward to,
For this humble child, wants a Body like You.

Lord I look to the day, when I shall sin no more,
When I shall be with You, on Heav’n’s blissful shore.
I will then love You, with Your kind of love in that day,
Finally this humble child, will please You always.

In this little church known far and wide,
A special sweet spirit does abide.
For Christ Jesus, many have stood,
With a like Spirit, gentle and good.

This little church, the Lord does bless,
With the joys of love and kindness.
O’er the years it has stood so tall,
As a ‘lighthouse,’ a beacon to all.

So many in its doors have come,
To them it is their spiritual home.
When trials or troubles do beset,
This little church helps them forget.

Many pastors did come and go,
With hopes many more will follow.
This little church holds high its head,
As it tries to go where Christ has led.

It welcomes all who come its way,
With love and friendship, ev’ry day.
Helpful hands are held out to you,
This little church is one of a “few.”

This little church has concern, ‘tis clear,
Members show love, true and sincere.
Encouraging, with heart-felt pray’r,
They give comfort because they care.
