POEMS . . . S

Safety from Satan, is what I pray,
For my feet want to go, the wrong way.
Dear Lord, keep me on the narrow path,
Far, far away, from the Father’s wrath.

Safety, from the devil’s temptations,
For I look, to eternal salvation.
Dear Lord, right decisions, let me make,
Let me never, Your great love forsake.

Safety, from old Satan’s tricks and snares,
I must keep watch, and always be aware.
Dear Lord, keep me from his deceitfulness,
Let me stay close to You, that You may bless.

Safety, from the old devils’ vile hate,
Of this evil, I want not to partake.
Dear Lord, let me love instead, I pray,
And let me praise and thank You, ev’ry day.

Safety, from Satan’s desperate lies,
False doctrine is that, on which he relies.
Dear Lord, let me not fall, for heresy,
Let me tell the Truth, of life eternally.

Safety, from Satan’s mighty shrewd ways,
He wants you, from God’s Book, to stay away.
Firmly each day, let me search Your Word,
That I may gain wisdom, from You Lord.

Safety from Satan, this I do plead,
But this I know, to You I must heed.
Closer to You, let me grow each day,
And may Satan stay, far, far away.

Safety from evil Satan, was won,
By the lovinkindness, of God’s own Son.
As He struggled up the hill, of Calvary,
Satan was beaten! Christ got victory!

Satan’s Ambition: (Gen.3:4; 2 Ki.14:10; Isa.28:2; 2 Thes.2:4,7; Rev.12:3).
Satan, Arch Deceiver: (Gen.3:5,14; Mat.4:6; Mk.1:13; Jn.8:44; 2 Cor.2:11; 11:14; Rev.13:14; 19:20; 20:7-8)
Satan’s Tricks: (Mk.4:15; 8:33; Lk.4:6; 1 Cor.2:11;11:3; Eph.6:11; 2 Thes.2:9; Rev.12:9; 20:7-8)

God sent His one Son to Earth, as Man,
‘Twas the Father’s wise, foreordained plan.
‘Fore the world was made, in Him, God chose us,
Praise the glory of His grace, so precious.

We have redemption thru’ Jesus’ Blood,
Our sins are forgiv’n, thru that crimson Flood.
All done by the riches of His grace,
Without Jesus, we’re a total disgrace.

All wisdom and prudence to us abound,
God’s good pleasure is simply profound.
An inheritance, thru’ Christ, we’ll obtain,
All the wonders of God will be our gain.

When we hear the Word of Truth, and believe,
The seal of Almighty God we receive.
This ‘seal’ is a promise of more to come,
‘Tis the earnest on our Heavenly Home.

The Holy Spirit of God then does abide,
Forever, with God’s children, He resides!
He’ll guide, direct, teach, and convict of sin,
And the peace, joy and rest, of Christ we win.

God the Father devised salvation’s plan,
That reaches out to each and ev’ry man.
God the Son paid all of salvation’s price,
God the Holy Spirit, the plan applies.

(Jn.3:16; Ep.1:4-14; Jn.14:2-3,16; 2 Jn.2)

Satan will come only to your door,
Don’t let him in; he’s evil to the core!
He’ll blind your eyes, the Gospel he’ll hide,
And on the road to Hell, he will guide.

Satan is cunning, very crafty,
Be on guard, he is your enemy!
He’s clever and shrewd, to lead astray,
You must be careful, both night and day.

Bold as a lion, sly as a fox,
And God’s children he constantly stalks.
Put on the complete armour of God,
To stand against the wiles of this fraud.

Satan is skillful at subtle lies,
Alert and watchful; how hard he tries.
From the beginning he did deceive,
In the garden with Adam and Eve.

Submit yourselves therefore to God,
Our ‘key’ to success, as we do trod.
Resist Satan, and he’ll flee from you,
The power of Christ will see you thru’.

Jam.4:7; 1 Jn.4:4)10-18; 2 Co.2:11; 4:3-4; 11:14;Jam.4:7;

Satan does lurk, in dark shadows, drear,
He just waits for your weakness, and fear.
NO one is exempt from his power,
He’s there to tempt you, at any hour.

We wrestle not against flesh and blood,
But against Satan’s dangerous flood.
Spiritual wickedness does o’er flow,
All that we do here an Earth below.

He accuses us ‘fore God each day,
Slandering us, in so many ways.
He speaks lies; is the ‘father’ of it,
Abides not in truth, and will not quit.

As a roaring lion, seeking prey,
Walking all about, both night and day.
We must be watchful, and serious,
For Satan’s the king, of all darkness.

We cannot go against him alone,
For we’d give in to him, then groan!
Submit yourself to God; that’s the key,
Then resist the devil; and he will flee.

We must have Jesus to see us thru’,
We must have His help, both me and you.
We can do it all, thru’ Christ’s power,
Satan WILL flee, we need not cower.

Satan makes allegations of me,
Rightly stating my iniquity.
At God’s right Hand, my Counselor sits,
My final decree: God does acquit!

Satan’s allegations go on and on,
But because of my Counselor I have won!
Christ paid my debt, the ultimate price,
Death on the Cross, the supreme sacrifice.

Satan’s allegations ne’er seem to end,
But I have on my side, quite a ‘Friend’.
My loving Advocate stands by me,
Gone are my sins and iniquity!

Hard and fast come Satan’s allegations,
Many sins and evils I have done.
But my Counselor paid with His own Blood,
He purified me with that precious Flood.

Jesus, wonderful Saviour and Friend,
He will stand by me until the end.
Passing all knowledge is Christ’s wondrous love,
He grants eternal life in Heav’n above!

Those who serve Satan work energetically,
Freely, willingly, and persistently.
They’re always so active to proselyte,
Beware! their doctrine is dark as night!

Satan has many children; a great crowd,
Spreading false doctrine, shouting aloud.
And for the devil, they firmly stand,
They’re partners with Satan; hand in hand!

Their evil doctrine at first sounds good,
But they teach falsely, and not as they should!
They’re truly dedicated to their cause,
In serving the devil, they never pause!

God’s children also should persevere,
Yet bringing the Gospel seems to cause fear.
The ‘Truth’ to the lost ones must be told,
We must witness for Christ; we must be bold!

If only we had their dedication,
Many souls would be led to Salvation!
We must confess Christ and His precious Name,
Or one day He’ll deny us, to our shame!
By: His servant, Connie Kramer July 8, 1998 # 482

Matthew 10:32-33 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. [KJV] . . . If anyone acknowledges Christ Jesus publicly here on Earth, He will openly acknowledge that person before His Father in Heaven . . . BUT . . . if anyone denies Christ Jesus here on Earth, He will deny that person before His Father in Heaven.

Satan’s Dirty Ways

When Christ as Saviour, you do accept,
There are some things, you must expect.
Satan will not be happy with you,
His evil ways will come into view.

Satan despises our precious Lord,
O’er and o’er we’re told this, in God’s Word.
He doesn’t want you, with Christ to abide,
The devil wants you, back on his side.

Satan will try you, in so many ways,
Working e’er so hard, both night and day.
He doesn’t want you, Jesus to love,
He’ll try to keep you from Heav’n above.

Don’t listen to his sweet-sounding lies,
Don’t fall for his deceiving cries.
He doesn’t mean any good at all,
Impatiently he waits, for you to fall.

If he tempted Jesus, way back then,
He’ll tempt you too, o’er and o’er again.
You can shout for joy, the vict’ry cry,
If on Christ Jesus, you do rely.

Are you trav’ling a road of no return?
Do you for the world’s wealth, and pleasure yearn?
Do you lust after fortune and fame?
Do you e’er think of our Lord Jesus’ Name?

Most people are speeding down Hell’s highway,
Trav’ling down the broad road, with no delays.
Never ev’n thinking ‘bout eternity,
Headed for Satan’s home, of agony.

With each passing day, the road gets more wide,
It gets easier, as they take big strides.
Satan’s home of agony, is where they’ll go,
A place of horrid, eternal sorrow.

The longer on this wide road you stay,
The harder it is to go the other way.
That other road is a small, narrow path,
Leading away, from our God’s Holy wrath.

Are you trav’ling that road, where Satan leads?
Trav’ling at a rate, of increasing speed?
Satan leads just to his home of agony,
With no exit doors, for eternity.

You can change your route; go the other way,
That narrow road leads, to a blissful day.
Leading to the City, with a street of gold,
Where the glory of God, you will behold.

Rebellion, links us to Satan,
This spirit is not good for man.
If you go head to head with God,
For certain you’ll lose, as you trod!

In life, do you feel insecure?
Does God seem far, and so obscure?
Satan is brilliant, and very sly!
He’ll try to keep you from God on High.

Bitterness will eat you inside,
Will cause strife, and churches divide.
Unforgiveness, hurt pride, envy,
Satan tempts; he’s your enemy!

Do you ever feel depressed?
Discouraged, gloomy, stressed?
Satan is there, when you are low,
Always there in sorrow and woe.

Nagging doubt, fear; are Satan’s tools,
He’s crafty and sharp; not a fool!
He tempts us in our weakest spot,
We must be careful, or we’re caught!

There is an answer to these things,
Rely on Christ and the grace He brings.
Satan is doomed, with Christ there,
Just call out to God in prayer.

Christ can help in all your trouble,
Just He, can burst Satan’s bubble.
Don’t try to do things on your own,
Trust Christ, and the path will be shown.

Ac.8:23; Ro.3:14; Ep.4:31; Heb.12:15)

Satan will blind you to what is true,
Making false things shine, as bright as new!
The devil is sly, he will deceive,
Makes false doctrine sound right, so you’ll receive!

Satan will subtly harden your heart,
Trying to drive you and Jesus apart!
The devil is desperate with his lies,
The harder you resist, the harder he tries!

Satan will always take right words away,
And he will give you all wrong words to say.
He’ll try to win by pure deception,
Turns you from Christ, wants your rejection!

Satan will guide you down the wrong road,
And give you a heavy, cumbersome load!
Trials and troubles, he’ll surely bring,
But, he’ll not win, if to Christ we’ll cling!

Satan will turn your friends against you,
Also your fam’ly, who were so true.
Satan hates Christ, and when Him you accept,
He’ll try to make you forget and reject!

Don’t fall into the old devil’s snare,
Turn instead, to our Saviour who cares!
Submitting to Christ, keeps Satan back,
For His Spirit keeps you on the right track!

Our dear Lord Jesus, is always near,
So, Satan’s attacks we need not fear.
God’s children have Someone, much more great!
So we need not let Satan dominate!

Satan’s hard at work in the world today,
Working relentlessly, as he goes his way.
He knows your shortcomings; where you are weak,
This is where he’ll hit; and havoc he’ll wreak.

He’ll seduce by pleasure; sex, sports, leisure,
Puff up our pride, give evil thoughts to lure.
He can afflict our body, as he did Job,
And into our lives; most surely he’ll probe.

He’ll quote Scriptures, pluck away the “good seed”,
He tries so hard his false doctrine to feed.
He tries to make us deny Jesus is Lord,
Satan is strong; we NEED Christ and His Word!

Satan is hard at work in the world today,
Working relentlessly, as he goes his way.
He knows our shortcomings, just where we are weak,
This is where he will hit, and havoc he’ll wreak!

He will seduce by pleasure, all he can,
Sex, sports, leisure; he’ll work on ev’ry man.
He’ll quote Scriptures, try to lead you astray,
Just as he did Christ; try your nerves to fray.

He’ll afflict the body, as he did Job,
And into our lives, most surely he’ll probe.
He’ll puff up our pride, so God won’t be pleas’d,
He’ll tempt by impure thoughts, he’ll not cease.

He’ll pluck away the seed, of God’s Good Word,
He won’t let it grow, he’ll only retard.
He’ll gravely buffet, if crisis should come,
Beating back our attempts, as if we’re a drum.

He’ll make us hypocrites, he’ll make us lie,
Also tries to get us, Christ to deny.
He’ll deceive by false doctrine, all the while,
And when he succeeds, he’ll have a great smile!

He’ll try to trap us, lay snares where we’ll trod,
Prompts to transgress the holiness of God.
He blinds men to truth, he perverts God’s Word,
Satan is strong, that is why we need the Lord!

Saying I’m grateful just scratches the surface,
How I thank Him for His amazing grace!
Nothing I did, made God predestine me,
Yet I’ll live with Him, for eternity!

Predestinated, to become God’s own child,
Ev’n tho’ my nature is totally defil’d!
He chose me before, He created the world,
My life, before Him, completely unfurl’d!

I can take no credit, no, none at all,
But I can be grateful, I heard His call!
I don’t deserve His mercy and His love,
Yet He reached down and chose me, from Heav’n above!

Saying I’m grateful; ‘tis not enough to say,
For my heart and soul, rejoice ev’ry day!
I’ll praise You always, for Your awesome grace,
I look so to the day when I see Your Face!

Saying I’m grateful, are just words I speak,
It’s the nearness of Your Presence I seek!
I’ll praise You now, and eternity thru’,
My eternal soul will always thank You!

Saying I’m grateful, is a very small thing,
For Your choosing me, wondrous blessings bring!
According to the good pleasure of Thy will,
My entire being, Your Spirit does fill!

I’m so grateful, You chose me long ago,
But why You chose me, I surely don’t know!
I’ll say I’m grateful, till I’m home with You,
For privileged I am, to be one of the “few”.

Can wealth make you happy, as you live?
Can it buy friends? or good health give?
Can it bring happiness to your life?
Can servants or pleasure keep you from strife?

Can education make you happy?
Learning worldly things, can’t give ecstasy.
Tho’ much knowledge you have acquired,
Happiness seems to be your greatest desire.

Can liquor bring you satisfaction?
In the end, it will bring degradation.
Drugs of NO kind can bring happiness,
Only your problems it does suppress.

Can lust and sex fill the void in your heart?
Will that emptiness, from you depart?
Can it give happiness and peace?
Will the unhappiness you feel, cease?

Only Christ can give TRUE happiness,
Life without Him, is just weariness.
Disappointment will flee with Christ there,
For He, your troubles, with you will share.

Sweet peace overflows when Christ abides,
He’s always there, to comfort and guide,
To seek happiness without Him is vain,
Only He can give peace that remains.

The presence of Christ is pleasure and joy,
Happiness that NO one can destroy.
Give your heart to our Saviour today,
Trust and accept Him; there’s NO other way!

With our mere eyes, God can’t be seen,
Not ‘til in Heav’n we all convene.
With our v’ry hearts God we must see,
Or Hell will be our destiny.

Only our heart can reveal God,
‘Tis this way, the whole world abroad.
But once we see Him with our heart,
Our very lives we do restart.

Once we see with our heart, so deep,
‘Tis amazing, what blessings we reap!
We can then see Him all around,
Where e’er we look; He can be found.

He’s in the Earth, the sky, the sea,
In a tiny bird in a tree.
In the beauty of a flower,
In the refreshing, spring shower.

We can now see God every where,
But before, ‘twas all bleak and bare.
Can you, our God, with your heart, see?
He’ll do for you, what He did for me.

Seeing Christ with the ‘eye of faith’ saves us,
His vast power makes us victorious.
From the law of sin and death, we are free,
Only our faith in Christ grants us victory!

When we see Jesus with the ‘eye of love’,
We’ll trust completely, til we get above.
Awaiting me is my glorious Home,
In those days, from God, I’ll never roam!

To see Christ with the ‘eye of recognition’,
Is to adore Him, in all conditions!
And in the ‘eye of concentration’ we see,
Christ, as KING OF KINGS, in all His glory.

The ‘eye of spiritual understanding’
Sees Christ, as we should be; always enduring.
Seeing Him with the ‘eye of reality’,
Makes us glad in Him; joyous and happy.

Seeing Christ with the ‘eye of wondrous hope’,
Means we, God’s children, never have to grope.
We’re full of holy enthusiasm,
Looking forward to our eternal Home.

When you see God in His majesty,
You will see yourself very lowly.
When into His Presence, you do arrive,
Your attitude of pride, can’t survive.

When you see God in His purity,
You’ll see yourself, sinful and dirty.
You’ll beg Him to make you white as snow,
With cleanliness, just He can bestow.

When you see God in His holiness,
You will see all of your wickedness.
Holiness is what you’ll clearly see,
Opposite, of your depravity.

When you see God in all His glory,
Any pride you had will quickly flee.
Any fame and honor that came your way,
You will gladly cast far, far away.

When you see God in His love and grace,
You know one day you’ll see Him, Face to face.
Just by His grace, one day you will see,
The bliss of Heaven’s eternity.

When you see God so perfect and true,
You will wonder how He could see you.
You’ll see your total imperfectness,
Yet wonder of wonders, God does bless.

When we see God, when we truly see,
Our heart, mind and soul, are then set free.
A new creation, us He will make,
And to Heaven, one day He will take.

Will you go and work for our Lord today?
Will you hunt the sheep, that has gone astray?
Fields are white, the harvest is waiting,
Listen! don’t you hear Jesus calling?

Our Lord calls out compassionately,
“Will you go out and work this day for me?”
Great blessing He’ll give; please don’t tarry,
Will you be one who answers: “Send me!”?

We need not go to lands far away,
We can in our own neighborhood stay.
The voice of Jesus is calling you,
Don’t say: “There is nothing I can do.”

You may never be able to preach,
But Jesus’ lost sheep, you can still reach!
When you hear our Lord’s heart wrenching call,
Tell those lost ones: “He died for us all!”

Will you go and work for Jesus today?
Will you search for sheep that’s gone astray?
There are sin-sick souls, all around you,
Please don’t say: “There’s nothing I can do.”

Jesus gives us a task, when He calls,
You must not hold back, but give your all.
The work He’ll give, can sheer pleasure be,
If you answer willingly: “Send me!”

Those who serve Satan work very hard,
To bring false teaching; ‘Truth’ they discard.
Freely, willingly; loyal to serve,
Diligent; Satan’s doctrine to preserve.

Always so active to proselyte,
From Satan’s service, they don’t take flight.
Not ceasing to strive to take you away,
From the ‘Truth’ of God, this very day.

For the devil, and his, God made Hell,
If you list’ to Satan, there you’ll dwell.
Satan’s workers seem as righteousness,
They seem to bring light; but they’re darkness.

If only God’s children were this faithful,
To serve the Lord God, and be loyal!
Just think of the lost ones we might reach,
If the true Gospel of Christ we would teach.

Satan’s messengers could give us a cue,
Faithful perseverance we should pursue.
Much harder that they we need to work,
Service to our Lord, we should not shirk.

‘Tis an honor to serve my risen Lord,
And to walk with Him in sweet accord.
At times I displease Him, this I know,
But He forgives, and His love bestows.

‘Tis a privilege that He calls me “friend”,
But I must trust and obey to the end.
The love He shows, I cannot explain,
If you know Jesus, you’ve much to gain.

‘Tis a great advantage to be God’s own,
Love, mercy, forgiveness; greatly shown!
Then one day, I shall be His heir,
And all that He has, with Christ, I’ll share!

I’m so grateful He chose lowly me,
And from all my sins did set me free.
I thank Him daily for faith He gave,
And thru’ that faith, Christ my soul did save!

Serving my Saviour, gives me great joy,
Joy that no one can ever destroy.
Service to God; is the least I can do,
I can ne’er repay, salvation true!

‘Tis a wondrous blessing to serve Him,
May my love and willingness ne’er grow dim.
How I do love and praise God always,
I’ll continue to thank Him all my days!

Seven Things God Hates
(Proverbs 6:16-21)

There are seven things the Lord does hate,
And all these things help decide your fate.
Abominations to God, are all these,
We must obey God, and Him try to please.

God hates a proud look, and a proud heart,
We all from pride, must quickly depart.
A lying tongue, our God does despise,
Truth and honesty are good in His eyes.

Shedding innocent blood, angers God,
We must not take life, as this Earth we trod.
God loathes a heart that plans evil things,
But a kind, loving heart, God’s blessings bring.

God hates feet that are swift to do wrong,
Strive for peace and goodness, as we walk along.
‘Tis a sin, when we a false witness bear,
We must love our brother, and show we care.

God hates anyone who sows discord,
Creating strife; we cannot afford.
All these are an abomination,
All these to God are a degradation.

Upon our hearts, God’s laws we must bind,
If God’s love and peace, we are to find.
About our neck, God’s laws we must tie,
And on His goodness, we must rely.

Sodom and Gomorrah were evil towns,
On their immorality, God did frown.
Lot was warned to leave that place,
For God would destroy, it was a disgrace.

Lot gather’d his fam’ly and left that day,
“Leave, look not behind thee”, so he did obey.
Lot’s wife did not listen; she ‘looked back’,
And became a pillar of salt in her tracks.

Murder was not her sin; she just ‘looked back’,
So cunning and sly; Satan did attack!
She was not a thief; she cared not to steal,
Yet when she ‘looked back’, her heart was reveal’d.

When she ‘looked back’, it show’d her true heart,
She loved worldly ‘things’, wanted not to depart.
There’s great danger in Satan’s craftiness,
A lesson we should learn from worldliness!

Do you have a secret love for this world?
Where is your heart? as Satan’s darts are hurled?
Don’t fall victim to the world and its ‘things’,
For you will miss out on all God’s blessings.

The ‘things’ of this world are not here to stay,
Your hope and heart should be turned Heav’n’s way.
Don’t ‘look back’; keep your eyes on Christ our Lord,
Be honest and true to Him; the world discard!

There are many signs that do not exist,
When to Jesus your life you commit.
Signs that we see each and ev’ry day,
When approaching Jesus, won’t be display’d!

“Out to Lunch” --- this sign you will never see,
For Jesus is ‘on call’ constantly!
He never takes time off, day or night,
So --- He’ll be there! no matter our plight!

This sign you’ll never see “Computer down,”
‘Tis stressful, and really makes me frown!
Tho’ systems of the world go askew,
The data base of Christ, always runs true!

“Take a number” --- this sign you’ll never see,
We’ll not have to stand in line, you and me!
We need not eagerly ‘wait our turn,’
We can go ‘at once’ with our concerns.

“Business hours are from 9 to 5,”
This sign you’ll never see, as you strive.
24 hours a day, 7 days a week,
Jesus’ door is open when Him you seek!

“Out of order” is a sign you’ll not find,
When you access the Lord, e’er so kind.
He never malfunctions, or breaks down,
A blessing, for it won’t cause us to frown.

“Closed for vacation” a sign not to be found,
Tho’ here on Earth, they greatly abound.
Jesus never, ever takes ‘time off,’
From the ‘Bride’ to whom He did betroth.

So many signs that infuriate,
Signs that disappoint and make you wait.
None of those signs you will ever see,
When you access the Lord of eternity.

There are many outward signs of love,
To show we’re children of God above.
First, consider, we must show we care,
And if we’re needed, to always be there.

Another sign of love is concern,
Showing an interest, this we must learn.
Compassion too, we must always show,
As God in Heav’n on us does bestow.

True love will always reveal kindness,
A soft, tender heart; we must possess.
Yet another sign is humility,
Pride must NOT be our identity!

Patience is something we must not forget,
Losing our temper, we’ll always regret!
Gentleness is a sign of true love,
A fruit of the Spirit, from God above!

If we truly love, we will forgive,
As God forgives us, each day we live!
Helping each other in time of need,
If one is hurting, we should pay heed.

A great sign of love is faithfulness,
There in troubles, small or serious.
We must learn to love with the love of God,
If we want to please Him, as we trod.

Christ Jesus, our Saviour, died FOR sin,
This Man, our God, who has always been.
He paid the price we could never pay,
Redeeming our souls for that sweet day.

When we accept Christ, we die TO sin,
We’re God’s children, our new life begins!
We now have joy and peace, hope and love,
We know one day we’ll be in Heav’n above.

All unbelievers will die IN sin,
Wonderful Heaven they’ll never win.
All who reject Christ will go to Hell,
There in agony, for e’er to dwell.

The song my heart sings, is loud and glad,
Since Jesus came in, I’m no longer sad!
‘Tis a song of gratitude my heart sings,
A song that will be everlasting!

My heart’s song, is one of such great joy,
A deep down feeling, no one can destroy.
Since Jesus came in, worry is gone,
‘Tis a song of rejoicing, each new dawn!

The song my heart sings, is one of love,
In honor of Jesus, in Heav’n above!
My song thanks Him for forgiving my sin,
My soul is at rest, since Jesus came in!

My heart sings, for He has giv’n me peace,
My tension and strife, He did release!
Since Jesus came in, ‘tis a whole new world,
A new person from within, has unfurl’d.

My heart sings for the hope of tomorrow,
For Christ died for me, on the tree of sorrow.
Since Jesus came in, I now have hope,
No longer do I in darkness, grope.

My heart’s glad song, will forever last,
For God has forgiv’n the sins of my past!
Jesus has giv’n me life eternally,
Since Jesus came in, I’m a whole new me!

Satan’s chain is broken; I’m set free,
Christ accomplished this great victory.
He washed my sinful soul white as snow,
As His precious Blood from the Cross did flow.

Sin’s chain is broken; I’m no longer bound,
Thanks be to Christ Jesus, Him I found!
He’s there for ev’ry one, day or night,
Christ is the answer; no matter your plight.

Does Satan have you bound, by sin’s chain?
Just Christ can free you; it’s true and plain.
Open your heart’s door, and let Him in,
He’ll cleanse you from all your evil sin.

Christ can break sin’s chain, and set you free,
Christ can grant this wondrous victory.
Christ can give you a mansion on high,
Where you’ll live for ever, by and by.

Jesus is God’s only, begotten Son,
As for sin and wickedness, He had none!
As for me, I am so, so far away,
Vile sin is with me, ev’ry single day.

So far away, from Jesus’ righteousness,
I cannot see, how the Father can bless.
But in God’s Son Jesus, I do believe,
When God looks down on me, me He receives.

So far away, from Jesus’ purity,
Dark, dirty sin is my worst enemy.
But when in God’s Son Jesus, I have faith,
When God sees me, He gives vic’try o’er death.

So far away, from Jesus’ holiness,
My stubborn sins continue, I confess.
But when in God’s Son Jesus, I do trust,
Confessing those stubborn sins, is a must.

To be like Jesus, seems so far away,
I struggle with sin, with each passing day.
I look to the day, I can be like Him,
But that day seems so far away, so dim.

No matter how good, that you think you are,
From the Lord Jesus, you are very far.
We must look ahead, to the coming day,
When all sin will be gone, far, far away!

Jesus, sinless: (Isa.53:9; Mat.27:4,19,23-24; Jn.8:46; Lk.23:41,47; 2 Cor.5:21; Heb.4:15; 7:26-27; 1 Pet.2;22; 1 Jn.2:1; 3:5).
New bodies: (1 Cor.15:22-58)
1 Cor. 15:51-52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (KJV) . . . Incorruptible = no more sin! We will have sinless bodies like Jesus.

So Many

So many consider this Earth, as home,
As wildly and recklessly, they do roam.
They ne’er think, they’ll live eternally,
So they just continue on, sinfully.

So many, not once, consider our Lord,
They don’t believe the Bible, is God’s Word.
Selfish they are, “What can I do for me?”
Greedily they lust, for pleasure and money.

So many think, they will avoid God’s wrath,
As they continue, on that big, broad path.
They ne’er think, that God will cast them to Hell,
So many think, that all in Heav’n will dwell.

So many false doctrines, are taught today,
Wolves in sheep’s clothing, stalking for new prey.
People reject, and against God rebel,
They refuse to believe, He will cast them to Hell.

God cannot lie, but so many won’t believe,
Most will do nothing, His grace to receive.
Believe on Christ, eternal life you gain,
Reject Christ, you shall experience Hell’s pain.

So many reject Jesus, are you one?
Heav’n can be achieved, ONLY by God’s Son!
Jesus is the Way, He holds Heav’n’s ONE key,
Belief in Him gives life, eternally.

So many blessings the Lord does give,
Each and every day, that we live.
A wondrous God,in the Heav’ns above,
Showers us with blessings, done in love.

The wonders of nature, all around,
Beauty to the eye, and wondrous sound!
Birds and animals, to each other call,
Massive whales, to tiny insects small.

In rugged mountains, tall and grandeur,
The air way up there, so fresh and pure.
In the valley where the crops do grow,
His Hand is ev’ry where, this I know!

He makes pretty clouds, puffy and white,
‘Tis astounding, how gorgeous the sight!
Sunsets are, His striking works of art,
For us to enjoy, ‘fore they depart!

So many blessings from Him abound,
His grace, mercy, kindness; all around!
At the top of the list, is His love,
A gracious God, in the Heav’ns above!

He pardons sins and iniquities,
Can grant Heav’n, as our final decree.
He gave His one Son, to buy our soul,
If we trust and believe, we are whole.

Belief in Jesus, washes sins away,
And grants us a mansion, in Heav’n someday.
Wondrous blessings of God do abound,
But NONE, near like Christ, can be found!

We shall worship no mortal man, just thee.
“And call no man your Father upon the earth,”

These words from Jesus, God’s begotten Son.
They think they’ll be heard for their speaking much,
They will not reach God, with prayers as such.

When we pray, we are to pray in JESUS’ Name,
Only thru’ His Name will God grant us gain.
No one, at any time, can take Christ’s place,
Just He can intercede, and sins erase.

Purgatory is the devil’s doctrine,
Yet millions accept, making Satan grin.
Not once is this teaching found in God’s Word,
It brings only false hope; you must discard!

Jesus paid it all, His work did suffice.
His death on the Cross was not part payment,
His sacrifice was completely sufficient.

SO SILENTLY . . . May 2002 Message

So silently, God’s wondrous Gift is giv’n,
God imparts to us, wonders of His Heav’n.
Few hear His coming, in this world of sin,
Only humble souls, allow the Saviour in!

Only the meek ones, will open their heart’s door,
To receive the blessings, Christ holds in store.
Silently He comes, blessings to impart,
Those who hear Him come, have a humble heart.

Few hear Him knock, in this world of sin,
And fewer still, ever invite Him in!
Silently He comes, but most folks reject,
The only One, who can their soul protect!

So silently, God gives His awesome Gift;
His only Son, who can heal sin’s wide rift.
But most of the world, push Christ away,
Pride, it seems, always gets in the way!

Have you humbled yourself, before God’s son?
This is how, salvation must be won!
So silently, to you God will speak,
He truly desires, that His Son you seek.

God will never, force Himself on you,
But only Christ, from Hell can rescue.
God will come to you, in love, silently,
Offering to you, life eternally!

Christ won’t come to you, with loud fanfare,
Nor will He beg you, to ascend Heav’n’s stair.
But where humble souls, receive Him still,
Our gentle Saviour, will always enter in!

Lead me Lord, to a lost soul today,
As I travel life’s fleeting pathway.
Soften their heart that they might believe,
When I tell of Jesus, let them receive.

Rest eludes from the burden I bear,
I must reach out, show them someone cares.
Soften their heart, let them invite Christ in,
For only He can remove their sin.

My burden for the lost, never leaves,
Rejection of Christ, makes my heart grieve.
Soften their heart, as I show them the way,
Lead me Lord, to a lost soul today.

SOLDIERS OF THE CROSS . . . July 1997 Message

After Christ’s ascension to Heaven,
To the disciples, a job was giv’n.
They had great responsibility,
Spreading the Gospel, was their decree.

Soldiers of the Cross, so bold and true,
They obey’d our King, what e’er did ensue.
Loving, patient, they did persevere,
For they knew our Lord was always near.

ALL God’s children do humbly succeed,
These brave soldiers, in sowing the seed.
This job is not just for those who preach,
It’s for ALL Christians, the lost to reach.

Soldiers of the Cross, this is our chore,
To represent Jesus, on ev’ry shore.
An awesome privilege, on us to fall,
We must please our King, try to reach all.

If you know Christ, Him, you must obey,
Tell others of Jesus, ev’ry day.
Represent Him, by spreading His Word,
You’re a soldier of the Cross, for our Lord.

I’ll do those good deeds, some other day,
Too many anxious cares in the way.
I’ll call on the one who feels hurt or low,
When my trials pass, and all my woe.

Some other day, I will show mercy,
Good works I will do, and charity.
Compassion I’ll show to one who mourns,
Some other day, when I’m not forlorn.

Some other day, I’ll help one in need,
Be kind and loving; do a good deed.
Say a kind word to one who does cry,
Some other day, in the by and by.

If we wait to do good to those around,
God’s blessings to us will not abound.
God may wait until some other day,
To send His wondrous blessings your way!

Sowing Precious Seed . . . May 2006 Message

God tells us in His Word, we should sow seed,
His children must obey; to His Word heed.
If we are His people, we must obey,
Serving willingly, as His love we portray.

As we live life, we are told what to sow,
Precious seed of the Gospel, from us must flow.
“Go ye therefore,” our Lord Jesus has told,
As we sow precious seed, we must be bold.

How we are to sow, His Word tells us too,
Our hearts must be soft and tender, me and you.
We must really care about the lost sheep,
As we sow seed, we must go forth and weep.

Beside all waters, is where we’re to sow,
Meaning to many people, we must go.
“Go ye therefore,” our Lord’s command this day,
If we are God’s true child, we must obey.

When should we sow? morn thru’ evening, always,
We should witness for Jesus, all our days.
We must go willingly, and sow precious seed,
For many lost souls, our Saviour they need!

Scripture references for above poem:
(Ps.126:6; Isa.30:25; 32:20; Ecc.11:1,6; Mat.28:19)

Luke 24:31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. 32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? (KJV)
Proverbs 1:5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: (KJV)
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

Most have physical eyes, but they just cannot see,
That Christ Jesus is God, of all eternity.
The eyes of their understanding, remain closed,
It seems that to the Truth, they want not to be exposed.

These with their eyes shut, cannot see things clearly,
Their eyes see only those things, which are worldly.
Lewdness, lust, materialism and greed,
Those with physical eyes, just to these things pay heed.

Lord, give me spiritual eyes, that I may see,
All the awesome wonders, of Your majesty!
Let my heart burn, with the Truth of Your Holy Word,
That I may know, eternal life from me is not barred!

Most have physical ears, but they just cannot hear,
In one ear, out the other, the Truth disappears.
People do not care, about the Truth God reveals,
Their only concern in this life, is how they feel.

These with their ears shut, cannot hear what is said,
Their ears hear only those things, which cause them no dread.
Arrogance, deception and self-righteousness,
Those with physical ears, just to these things access

Lord, give me spiritual ears, that I may hear,
Your precious Words of Truth, we should hold dear.
Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear God’s Words,
For they shall in time, receive their due rewards!

Many are they, that speak evil of things they know not,
Rejecting the Truth, that Jesus, their souls bought.
Refusing to believe, Jesus is the only Way,
That “road” is too narrow, is what they say.

The Lord Jesus, on that rugged old cross died,
He gave His life for us, He was crucified!
He paid sin’s debt for me, that He did not owe,
Which keeps me from that horrible place below!

Seven Reasons Why the Bible Is Not Understood
#1. Man’s reasoning, which brings on doubt and unbelief (Mk.8:17).
#2. Lack of discernment, implying dullness (Mk.8:17).
#3. Ignorance, indicating lack of interest and study (Mk.8:17).
#4. Hardness of heart, meaning stubbornness and rebellion (Mk.8:17).
#5. Eyes that cannot see, which is simply willful blindness to Truth (Mk.8:18; Mat.13:14-15).
#6. Ears that will not hear, which is willful rejection of Truth (Mk.8:18).
#7. Dull memory, suggesting willful forgetfulness (Mk.8:18).
My friend, ALL these reasons are conscious, deliberate, malicious and willful. People should NOT reason, doubt, question, harden their hearts, be dull of seeing and hearing, or be forgetful of what God has done for us. There is NO excuse whatsoever for any of us not to believe the Bible. We all should have enough faith in Christ to meet our every problem.

Those who refuse to consider eternity have a huge problem! Our souls are eternal and shall spend eternity in ONE of two places: Heaven OR Hell! There is a Judgment Day coming! Believe it! Open your eyes! Open your ears and listen to what is said about the Truth of the Bible!

Souls Saved For Jesus

Souls saved for Jesus, that is my desire,
God wants none to go, to the lake of fire.
We must have love for the lost, for e’er more,
And pray that they reach, Heav’n’s blissful shore.

Souls saved for Jesus, is what we should pray,
For God wants us all, to cast sin away.
We must have deep feelings, for lost souls,
Sincere prayer for them, should be our goal.

Souls saved for Jesus, should be our concern,
God wants us for other’s safety, to yearn.
We must tell them, about the lake of fire,
Praying for lost souls, should be our desire.

Souls saved for Jesus, should be on our heart,
God wants us to pray, from sin they depart.
We must tell them, in a kind loving way,
What God in His Holy Word, has to say!

Souls saved for Jesus, should be on our mind,
God wants us to be, caring, loving and kind.
We truly must care, what happens to lost souls,
Leading souls to Jesus, should be our goal.

Souls saved for Christ, is how pray’r should be begun,
God tells us, salvation is just thru’ His Son!
We must do all we can, to keep souls from Hell,
They must trust Jesus, if in Heav’n they want to dwell.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

Steps in Salvation

The first step in salvation, is believe,
When the Gospel is heard, it you must receive.
The Lord Jesus, you must trust and accept,
For just He alone, from Hell can protect.

Faith in Jesus as Saviour, stops God’s wrath,
When we walk with the Lord, on the right path.
Justified by faith, means we’re not guilty,
Our sins are forgiven, and we are guilt free.

Sanctification, is what we next find,
Set apart for God, which eases our mind.
Baptism by the Spirit, does sanctify,
Means we’re God’s child, and us, He won’t deny.

Glorification, the last we come to,
God’s children will be glorified, me and you.
We’ll all be changed, to a sinless body,
This mortal must put on, immortality.

No sinner shall gain entrance, at Heav’n’s Gate,
Our bodies must be changed, to participate.
Christ shall change our vile body, He has pow’r,
Then we’ll join Him in Heav’n, for e’er, ev’ry hour!

Phil. 3:20-21  For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. (KJV)

There is immediate sanctification, but there is also progressive sanctification and complete sanctification. Progressive sanctification is what slowly separates the people of God from the world and makes them more and more like Christ Jesus. Complete sanctification is glorification.

Sanctification differs from justification in several ways. Justification is a one-time work of God, which results in His declaring “not guilty” to those who have believed Him (1 Jn.5:10-13), and accepts the work of Christ on the cross (Jn.3:15-16). Sanctification is a process, which starts with justification and continues throughout life.

Sanctification is a three-stage process, past, present and future. The first stage happens at the beginning of our spiritual birth (Jn.1:12-13; 3:3-8). It is the first moral change, which breaks us away from the power, love and lust of sin. It is where we can count themselves “dead to sin but alive to God” (Rom.6:11). When sanctification begins, we are no longer under sin’s power (Rom.6:14). Our desires are rearranged, as we develop a love of God and His righteousness. We are no longer slaves of sin, but servants of righteousness (Rom.6:17-18).

The second stage of sanctification needs a lifetime to complete. As we grow in grace, we slowly but surely change to be more like Jesus with each passing day (2 Cor.3:18). This process is one of daily spiritual renewal (Col.3:10).

The third and final stage of sanctification happens in the future. When believers die, their spirits go to be with Christ (2 Cor.5:6-8). Since NOTHING unclean can ever enter Heaven (Rev.21:27), we must be made perfect . . . BEFORE we enter Heaven! The sanctification of the whole person . . . body, soul, and spirit, will finally be complete when the Lord Jesus Returns (Rev.19:11-21; Zec.14:1-5), and we receive glorified bodies (Phil.3:21; 1 Cor.15:35-49).

God’s work in sanctification involves all three members of the Trinity. God the Father is constantly at work in His children “to will and to work for His good pleasure” (Phil.2:13). He changes our desires, so that we want to please Him, and He empowers us to do so. Jesus paid for our sanctification on the cross and, in reality, has become our Sanctification (1 Cor.1:30), and Perfecter of our faith (Heb.12:2). The Holy Spirit is the main Instrument of our sanctification (1 Cor.6:11; 2 Thes.2:13; 1 Pet.1:2), and He is the One, the ONLY One, who produces in us the fruit of sanctification (Gal.5:22-23).

Our role in sanctification is both inactive and active. Inactively, we must trust God to sanctify us, presenting our bodies to God (Rom.6:13; 12:1) and yielding to the Holy Spirit. It is God's will that we should be sanctified (1Thes.4:3), and we should be very grateful for that.

Actively, each of us should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable (1 Thes.4:4), mortifying the deeds of the body (Rom.8:13), and striving for holiness (Heb.12:14), fleeing immorality (1 Cor.6:18), cleansing ourselves from every defilement (2 Cor.7:1), and making every effort to increase our faith (2 Pet.1:5-11). As we pursue holiness, we must always remember that only Almighty God can empower us to do this. The end result of unchanging sanctification is a steady, mature Christian life that will faithfully reflect the nature of our awesome and holy God.

John makes it clear that we will never be totally free from sin in this life (1 Jn.1:8-10), and praise God, the work of sanctification that God has started in us, He will finish (Phil.1:6).

STONE ON THE TOMB, The . . . April 2001 Message

Why was the stone on the tomb roll’d away?
You must admit, ‘twas an awesome display!
Was the stone moved, so Christ could get out?
‘Tis a subject, most don’t think about!

The stone was roll’d away from the sepulcher,
This had to be, an amazing picture!
Mary Magdalene, was the first to see,
Jesus had risen! the tomb was empty!

The stone was moved, so others could get in!
To see the great vict’ry, Jesus did win!
He was raised from the dead; He was raised!
Praise be to Almighty God! Praise, praise, praise!

The stone was roll’d away, so they could tell,
Christ was alive! all their fears they could quell.
Two angels in white sat where Christ had lain,
“He is not here, He is risen” they did explain!

The disciples were gath’red Sunday evening,
And in their midst stood their Master and King!
The doors were shut, but that didn’t stop the Lord,
The hearts of these men, were indeed stirred.

Calmly He spoke to them: “Peace be unto you,”
He showed them His Hands so they’d know He was true.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,”
We must tell the world, Christ is our salvation!

Storm Clouds . . . Aug.2004 Messages

As I watch the storm clouds roll away,
I know Christ looks after me ev’ry day.
It seems clouds are His Promise to me,
That storms of life, with His help, flee.
Great storms of life, at times will arise,
So when they come, there should be no surprise.
Always remember, Christ will be there,
Burdens of life, He will gladly share.
When storm clouds roll away, the sun does shine,
Too our troubles flee, with His Light divine.
As the Earth is refresh’d, after a rain,
When Christ helps with our storm, peace we regain.
A close fellowship with Christ we need,
A life of obedience, we should lead.
When we love Jesus with our v’ry all,
He’s always near when we slip or fall.
Our Lord will be with us to the end,
When we love and obey, He is our Friend.
Then in all storms of life, He’s close by,
As our Assistant, He does qualify.

Hard and heavy beats the torrential rain,
Great ocean waves roll in, then out again.
The thunder clashes, all around me,
Dark gloomy clouds are all I can see.

So mournful, the wind sounds in the trees,
The birds flutter in the tossing leaves.
Clouds roll wildly, in a patchwork sky,
God is in control; we can’t deny.

With each storm that comes to each of us,
God’s assistance is there --- so precious!
He walks with us in each roaring storm,
Calming our fears; keeping us from harm!

Tho’ thunder may clash, and dark clouds roll,
Our amazing God is in control!
Knowing His Presence is e’er so near,
You and I need not have any fear!

Many storms of life will come and go,
We will be plagued by grief and sorrow.
But after each storm, the sun will shine,
What comfort and grace, thru’ Christ divine!

Christ Jesus has helped me hitherto,
And He’ll be with me, my journey thru’.
His love is there, with wisdom and pow’r,
And He’ll not forsake, at any hour!

Scripture verses for above poem: Ps.30:5; 57:12; 91:1-2; 92:1-2; Isa.43:1-2; 54:10; Mat.8:26-27; John 16:33; Rom.8:28; 2 Cor.4:8-9; 12:9; 1 John 4:9,13,16; 1 Pet.5:7.

Walking on that strait and narrow road,
Sometimes we carry a heavy load.
But He is there, our burdens to bear,
He really does love us; and does care.

When we walk that road; narrow and strait,
We finally come to Heaven’s gate.
At times we cannot see what’s ahead,
But Christ is there; we’ve nothing to dread.

On that road, that’s so strait and narrow,
There may be times of hardship and woe.
Looming ahead may be difficulties,
But beyond; Heav’n for eternity!

As we’re walking that difficult way,
Remember, He’s with us, night and day.
Keep on going, serving Him; don’t stop!
Produce much fruit, for Him a good crop!

Don’t come to a standstill along the way,
Keep serving the Lord, quick to obey!
Follow the same road, trod by our Lord,
You can’t go wrong when you obey His Word!

Ps.145:18; Jer.23:23; Jn.14:21; 15:10)

Submit to His grace, and He will save you,
Christ Jesus is trustworthy, and so true.
We must have faith, believe and accept,
Then from eternal Hell, Christ will protect.

Submit to His pow’r, and be kept by it,
By the constant abiding of His Spirit.
The pow’r of Jesus, can lead, teach and guide,
What an awesome feeling, as He resides.

Submit to Jesus, and walk in His light,
He will sustain, and keep you in His might.
Ev’n in the darkest night, Jesus can lead,
But by His wise guidance, we must always heed.

Submit to the Saviour, and Him obey,
Trust and obedience, is a must each day.
If we don’t obey, we simply don’t love,
And it’s doubtful we’ll see, Heav’n above.

Such a privilege, beyond compare,
To know my Saviour is always there.
Whether comfort, or pain, I know He’s near,
Mid-day or dark night, I’ve nought to fear.

My Lord and Saviour calls me “friend”,
And to all my needs, He does attend.
This privilege is hard to believe,
But to this great promise, I will cleave.

Such a privilege; I’m His family,
Not just now, but for eternity.
His Home, will one day be my home too,
Because of His mercy, and love so true.

Such a privilege; this love He shows,
And to ALL God’s children, it does flow.
Gracious, merciful love He reveals,
In sorrow and woe, or comfort and weal.

A privilege to know, our sins are gone,
We are no longer the devil’s pawn.
We are forgiven, thru’ Jesus’ Blood,
I’m so grateful, for that precious Flood.

Such a privilege, God’s children possess,
The world CANNOT know, how God does bless.
It gives great joy, and peace to my heart,
To know my Saviour, will NEVER depart.

Lord, you are such an asset to me,
You are truth and love, and honesty.
If I should stumble, you take my hand,
You’re my asset, as for you I stand.

To live life for you, you’re my asset,
With you near, I’ll not worry nor fret.
Comfort and strength, with you by my side,
All life’s troubles I can take in stride.

Such an asset, you grant pow’r to live,
And such grand blessings each day you give!
Peace, just you can give, deep in my heart,
And wondrous joy that will ne’er depart.

An unspeakable asset you are,
With love that reaches both near and far.
Grandest of all, eternal life in Heav’n,
Just thru’ you is this wondrous ‘Gift’ giv’n!

God did not bless me with wealth untold,
No great portions of silver and gold.
He has blessed me with spiritual wealth,
Gave me a soul, of excellent health.

Christ Jesus did save my soul from Hell,
Just He can do this, I’m here to tell.
He made me God’s child, with Him, joint heir,
And I have a mansion, way up there!

The wealth I have, comes from Heav’n above,
Eternal life, giv’n by God, in love.
The riches I have, I’d like to share,
Words that can save you; make you His heir!

Such as I have, I give unto thee,
Freely, with love, and so willingly.
In Him there’s life for eternity,
You’re dead to sin, and you are set free.

Christ is our Saviour, and He’s our Lord,
God does plainly tell us, in His Word.
If you want to live in Heaven above,
Only Christ can save you, with His love.

Of an awesome God, who is so kind!
How I praise Him for blessings galore,
And so many more, He holds in store!

Such precious thoughts, as a river flows,
Amazing grace, on me He bestows!
Blessings in abundance, He does send,
The great mercies of God will never end!

Such precious thoughts, of His endless love,
Constantly He sheds on me from above!
His love will be there for eternity,
I have this awesome Friend, who does love me!

Such precious thoughts, of the peace He gives,
Deep down in my soul, each day that I live!
Also great joy and hope, that’s there to stay,
Grand blessings, no one can take away!

Sweet Jesus, You are so good to me,
Great blessings that flow, are all so free.
Precious Saviour, who was crucified,
Mercy is ours, when Your Blood is applied.

A true, faithful Friend, You are indeed,
When Your Holy Commandments we do heed.
Our awesome Advocate, O so true,
Your stand is steadfast for the faithful few.

Ready Redeemer, paid the total price,
On that horrid cross, was our Sacrifice.
You’re our Bright Light, that shows the way,
Leading and guiding us, night and day.

You’re our Rigid Rock, a Firm Foundation,
Lord, You are our true preservation.
If we will just build our life on You,
You will give us strength each day anew.

Your amazing grace, is always there,
A personal Saviour, who does care.
If in this life, with You we will walk,
You will assist, when the devil stalks.

Sweet Jesus, You are so good to me,
You give to me, life eternally.
In Heav’n, You promise a dwelling place,
I thank You for, Your amazing grace!
