POEMS . . . O

OCEAN OF LOVE . . . Oct.2009 Message

God’s ocean of love, is all around,
So deep and so wide, it does confound.
Thru’ this ocean, each one of us sail,
When we trust by faith, He does avail.

Humbly we sail, as we live each day,
His great love is around us always.
Tho’ storms of life, make waves high and wide,
We’ll come out fine, on the other side.

We can sail on His ocean, peacefully,
We will not sink, He gives victory.
As we journey onward in this life,
His ocean of love, keeps us from strife.

Onward we sail, thru’ the rocky shoals,
His will in our life, should be our goal.
His brilliant Light, as a beacon shines,
I claim God’s ocean of love as mine.

Humbly we sail in God’s ocean of love,
His gracious concern comes from Heav’n above.
He watches us closely, as we sail,
Watching the good things, too when we fail.

Only my Saviour can safely guide,
Great pow’r and wisdom He does provide.
Grace and mercy from our Lord does flow,
As thru’ God’s ocean of love we go.

Let’s not fail Him, as thru’ life we proceed,
To His soft gentle voice, we must pay heed.
Thru’ God’s ocean of love, let’s keep on,
Upheld by the Hand, of God’s own Son.

O’er the Jordan, one day we shall go,
When we leave this Earth, so far below.
O’er the Jordan, to the Promis’d Land,
The wondrous views, shall be O’ so grand!

We’re giv’n this life on Earth, to decide,
Where in eternity, we’ll reside.
We have a free will, we must choose right,
We must walk the narrow road, of light!

Not all go to Heav’n, only a few,
Just those who trust Christ, are born anew.
Those on the broad road, bring on God’s wrath,
For they will not leave, the devil’s path.

The dust shall return, to the Earth one day,
Body and spirit, each go their own way.
The body to the grave, does submit,
The spirit goes back, to God who gave it.

I’ll walk thru’ death’s valley, with no fear,
For my watchful Shepherd, is so near.
I’ll not stay in the valley, I’ll go thru’,
For the Lord Jesus, is O’ so true.

The dark shadow of death, does not scare,
For my faithful Shepherd, is always there.
The terrors of death, He takes away,
For I know just good things, ‘fore me lay.

The terror of death, is fully gone,
I am no longer, the devil’s pawn.
The Lord Jesus gave me, victory,
I am a child of God, eternally.

I look with hope, to my home on high,
The mansion He promis’d, He won’t deny.
My inheritance, is reserve’d for me,
In God’s heavenly Home, eternally.

O’or the Jordan, one day I shall go,
When I leave this Earth, so far below.
O’er the Jordan, to the Promis’d Land,
So wonderful, and O’ so grand!

ON CALV’RY’S ROAD . . .Mar.1997 Message

Jeering crowds did compass and enclose Him,
Things thru’ Blood and tears to Him looked dim.
He looked for pity; none could be found,
Looking for comfort, instead they did hound.

They had no mercy as they beat our Lord,
His bones were exposed, they’d cut him so hard.
All they that saw Him laughed Him to scorn.
His Head was Bloody from His ‘crown’ of thorns.

His visage was marred more than any man,
Despised, rejected, Him they did ban.
Stricken, afflicted, and smitten of God,
He bore our sins as Calv’ry’s road He trod.

Unending reproach did break His heart,
But from this shame He did not depart.
He became a stranger to His brothers,
Wasn’t recognized by them, or others.

He was so weak from the Blood He had lost,
But not e’vn once, did He regret the cost.
He just kept struggling up Calv’ry’s road,
He carried that ‘Cross’; such a heavy load.

When He reached the top of Calv’ry’s hill,
The crowd shouting terrible insults still.
They drove huge nails in His feet and hands,
He died in great agony, for all lands.

He took on the sins of the whole world,
As He hung on that ‘Cross’, our sins unfurled.
He paid that price to redeem our souls,
Our Lord and Saviour is in full control.

(Ps.22 & 69; Is.53)

I have no purity, on my own,
This truth to me, God plainly has shown.
Only Christ Jesus can make me pure,
Only He, my diseased heart can cure.

On my own, I have no righteousness,
This truth, I will most humbly confess.
Just Jesus my filthy rags can clean,
Just Jesus from my evil ways can wean.

On my own, I cannot be holy,
This truth I know, I am ungodly.
Only Christ Jesus can make me right,
Only He makes me right in God’s sight.

On my own, I am never perfect,
This truth I know, I deserve no respect.
Just Jesus alone can make me faultless,
Just He, to God, can give me access.

On my own, I can’t be loving or true,
This truth my soul does know, thru’ and thru’.
Only Jesus can show me how to love,
Only He can lead me to Heav’n above.

On my own, I am nothing at all,
This truth I know, I surely will fall.
I need my Saviour, I need my Lord,
Just He can lead to eternal rewards.

On the back burner, DON’T put God there,
Of His importance, please be aware.
You need His guidance, you need His pow’r,
You need Him close by, in ev’ry hour.

Have you set God aside, as you live?
Do you forget the blessings, He can give?
Without His pow’r, just where would you be?
As you travel, to eternity.

Do you backslide, or in faith firmly stand?
Do you obey, the Lord Jesus’ command?
We must remember, His gracious love,
And all the great riches, from that love.

On the back burner, God should NOT be!
Don’t restrict Him, instead set Him free!
His pow’r and wisdom, you need each day,
And his guidance, to show the right way.

Open to Him, your mind and your heart,
Stay close to Him always, don’t depart.
He need always be, close and handy,
On the back burner, God should not be!

On The Wings of Love . . . Feb.1998 Message

On the wings of love, God sent His Son,
That eternal life, thru’ Him might be won.
His love so great, so pure. and so true,
He sheds on the world, both me and you.

On the wings of love, our Saviour came,
Knowing He’d have agony, and shame.
God condescended, for you and me,
To pay our debt, and set our soul free,

On the wings of love, Christ Jesus died,
He was tortured, and then crucified.
But our Lord arose; He is alive,
God the Father, with pow’r, did revive!

On the wings of love, Christ did ascend,
To God’s right Hand, where us, He defends!
Christ is our Lord, Friend, and Advocate,
And because of Him, Heav’n is our fate!

ON THE WINGS OF PRAYER . . . July 2001 Message

On the wings of prayer, I can aid,
If my brother hurts, or is afraid.
God will send His comfort and His pow’r,
To help my brother in the right hour.

I can assist with my heart-felt prayer,
God in His wisdom, is always there.
Whether it be someone next to me,
Or miles away; God will not tarry.

An awesome pow’r; here and ev’rywhere,
God’s children have, on the wings of prayer.
Hurts can be soothed, and pain can flee,
And those who mourn, have serenity.

On the wings of prayer we can go,
Directly to God, in joy or sorrow.
He would have you come, sincere and meek,
With heart-felt words as Him you do seek.

Such a wondrous privilege we all share,
We can come to God on wings of prayer.
Our Saviour gave us this victory,
Direct access to God, for you and me!

Once, back then, God created the world,
He had a plan, and it unfurled.
The universe came from nothing at all,
It sprang into being at God’s call.

Once, back then, our Lord created man,
In His own image, it was His plan.
He formed us from the dust of the ground,
And gave us the breath of life profound.

Once, back then, long before God made us,
He chose us to be His children, precious.
Even before the world’s foundation,
He had called us from degradation.

Once, back then, God came in man’s body,
Born of a poor, young virgin, Mary.
He came to fulfill what the prophets told,
Fulfilling the Father’s plan of old.

Once, back then, on the Cross Jesus died,
To redeem our souls; He was crucified.
He paid the price we could never pay,
That we might live in Heav’n’s grand array.

Here and now; God offers you a gift,
He wants no one to wander adrift.
Eternal life is yours, thru’ God’s Son,
Accept Christ, and this life has just begun.

One Day . . . July 2009 Monthly Message

One day I’ll look down at my feet,
and they will be standing on gold!
When Heav’n’s door is open’d to me,
Such great wonders, I’ll behold!

One day as I survey Heav’n’s bliss,
and gaze at my “mansion” there,
I’ll be grateful to my Saviour,
for His eternal love and care!

One day, in but a multitude,
as I wander ‘bout Heav’n’s domain,
Ten thousand years, and a million more,
For eternity, I’ll remain!

One day I’ll sit at Jesus’ Feet,
and behold His awesome glory,
And as I walk, in His vast Light,
I’ll praise His Name, eternally!

One day I’ll talk, to godly men:
Noah, Elijah, Daniel too,
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego,
These are just some of God’s faithful “few.”

Not just one day, but fore’er more,
I’ll serve my Master, ev’ry day!
So gratefully and willingly,
In the splendor of, Heav’n’s display!

One day I’ll be in my Home on high,
To live with Christ, eternally!
Privileged! I am one of the “few,”
My faith and belief gave vic’try!

In the Bible, God plainly does tell,
There’s only One Way, in Heav’n to dwell.
Christ is the Answer, He’s victory,
Trust Christ Jesus, God’s One and Only!

He’s our One and Only Way to peace,
Only He can cause your strife to cease!
Trust Christ to take your worry away,
Grasp the peace and calm, He sends your way!

He’s our One and Only Path to joy,
You are wise, if His love, you employ.
Your life can be such a joyous one,
When you submit, to God’s only Son!

He’s our One and Only bright shining Light,
Illuminating the road in darkest night!
Christ Jesus outshines the brightest star,
Nothing, His brilliance, can ever mar!

He’s our One and Only greatest Friend,
Never forsaking; there to the end!
With love and forgiveness, and vast mercy,
Trust and stay close, to the One and Only!

Worry not, what tomorrow may bring,
Tho’ it may be a sad, troubling ‘thing.’
One with great power, by us will stand,
One day at a time, He’ll take our hand!

We may face many failures and fears,
Sorrow or loneliness may bring tears.
The One with great love will never leave,
One day at a time, comfort we receive!

On our road of life, we make mistakes,
But our great Wise One, never forsakes!
Tho’ there be many burdens to bear,
One day at a time, Jesus is there!

Sometimes we suffer, and have much pain,
And goals we’ve set, we cannot attain.
We hurt, we tire, and we are so weak,
One day at a time, strength we should seek!

We need be patient, loving and strong,
And cast out all in our life that’s wrong.
Tho’ sorrow that comes, causes much grief,
One day at a time, Christ gives relief!

Yesterday’s gone; tomorrow may not be,
Concern should be for today’s mercy!
He’s there with courage for you each hour,
One day at a time, Christ gives us pow’r!

We are never alone, day or night,
His grace is sufficient in any plight!
None of God’s children e’er walk alone,
One day at a time, the path is shown!

ONE DAY AT A TIME . . . July 2006, July 2014 Messages

No need to worry, with You so near,
For I have nothing at all to fear.
One day at a time, this I must learn,
For Your guidance, I truly must yearn.

One day at a time, and worry not,
Strength and wisdom from You must be sought.
We know not what tomorrow may bring,
But with Your Presence near, our heart can sing.

What comes next year, next month or next week,
We can’t control, but You we can seek.
Having faith in Christ, God’s only Son,
Live one day at a time, each a special one.

Things that worry us, might never be,
Much of our life’s stress, comes for worry.
One day at a time, is all we need to bear,
Trust in the Lord, He really does care.

Don’t worry ‘bout things beyond your control.
But rather say, “It is well with my soul.”
Keep your eyes on Jesus, live for today,
Let Him guide you, each step of the way.

Worry can cause us to forfeit peace,
Don’t let fellowship with Christ ever cease.
Trust Him, you can live life so fine,
When you are living one day at a time.

God’s Mysterious Ways

On Aug. 9, 2002, God gave me a poem, “One Day At A Time.” That afternoon we received a letter from a new boy (22 years old). He told me that he’d once been a member of a prison gang, but he’d found the Lord. Now he was in Jesus’ gang, and now he would serve the Lord. Praise the Lord!

I wrote a letter back to him and enclosed “One Day At A Time.” A few days later I received another letter from him. He wanted to share something with me. He hoped it would be OK.

“My neighbor recently accepted Jesus Christ in his heart in order to receive salvation. But, as you well know, Satan doesn’t like that.”

He went on to say that the new convert had been having all kinds of dreams of temptations. He asked God how long he would have to put up with it; for months, years, the rest of his life???

“Well, you know how God speaks to us with a still, small, quiet voice; inside we hear Him. Well, God spoke to him and said just two words --- one day. One day?? he wondered, so he prayed again, and realized it meant to take it one day at a time.”

“Then the mail was brought to my cell; your letter and your beautiful poems. One was called ‘One Day At A time.’ I couldn’t help but smile. I told my neighbor, “Look! listen to this poem! As I read it to him, he screamed, “That’s awesome!”

“Now what are the chances of that happening? Just like many stories we’ve heard before. It was God’s way of confirming what the Holy Spirit told my neighbor.”

Is your soul deep in the pit of Hell?
Like the woman, Christ met at the well?
Do you live in immorality?
Do you live only, for me, me, me?

Do you lust after fortune and fame?
Do you blaspheme Christ Jesus’ Name?
Are you speeding down that big, broad road?
As Satan leads you, to his abode?

You must repent, go the other way,
God will turn your darkness, to bright day.
All your sins and wickedness, must die,
Turn to Jesus, and on Him rely.

When you mourn and repent for your sin,
Gone will be all guilt and shame within.
The chains of Satan, that held you tight,
Will break and fall off, in Jesus’ Light.

God’s vast grace heals us, and makes us strong,
He justifies us, frees us from all wrong.
Change your destination, from Hell to Heav’n,
Accept Christ, the precious Gift, God has giv’n.

You can be one of His chosen few,
You can change your path, start life anew.
Christ holds in His Hand, the only key,
That opens Heav’n’s gate for eternity.

One of the Few

Do you know if you, are one of the few?   (Mat.7:14; 20:16; 22:14)
Has the Holy Spirit, made you anew?  Jn.3:3-8; 1 Cor.6:11; 2 Cor.5:17)
The Bible clearly tells us, that we can know,  (Jn.20:31; 1 Jn.5:1, 10-13)
That Heav’n will be our home, not Hell below,  (Jn.3:15-18, 36; 5:24)

The Bible tells us, whoever believes,  (Jn.1:12: 3:15-16; 6:40, 47)
Eternal life from Christ, they shall receive.  (Jn.3:14-16; 4:14; 5:24, 29; 6:27,40,47)
All those who believe, God will not condemn,  (Jn.3:18, 36; Rom.4:7-8; 8:1)
For God’s amazing grace, is upon them.  (Rom.5:2, 6-8; Eph.2:8-9; 3:16)

Through faith the few are saved, by the Lord’s grace,  (Eph.2:8-9; Rom.5:1-2)
And one wondrous day, they shall see His Face.  (Ps.17:15; 105:4; Rev.3:12; 22:4).
But strait is the gate, and narrow the way,  (Mat.7:14; Mk.8:34; Jn.15:18-20)
For just a few walk with Jesus, each day.  (Mat.22:14; Lk.13:24; 1 Pet.3:20; Rev.3:4-5)

Many are the warnings, giv’n by the Lord,   (Mat.24:4, 23; 1 Cor.6:9; 15:33; Gal.6:7)
So we must pay attention, to the Word.  (Mat.4:4; Acts 20:32; Heb.6:5; 1 Pet.2:2)
False prophets would come, being clothed as sheep,  (Mat.7:15; 24:11, 24; 2 Pet.2:1)
So all of the few, must their faith firmly keep.  (Lk.17:5; Rom.5:1; 2 Cor.12:8-10; Phil.4:13)

The few must take care, that no one deceive,  (Mat.24:4; Eph.5:6; 2 Thes.2:3; 1 Jn.3:7)
No one but Christ, must the few e’er receive.  (Jn.14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Cor.3:11)
We are to watch, for we know not the day,  (Mat.24:42; 25:13; Mk.13:37; 1 Thes.5:6)
When Christ returns, we must love Him and obey.  (2 Thes.1:8; Heb.5:9; 1 Pet.4:17)

Are you one of the few, do you really know?  (Mat.7:14; Jn.20:31; 1 Jn.5:10-13)
Or are you with the many, going below? (Mat.7;13; 25:41, 46; Rev.20:15)
You can change that road, to the path of Light,  (Jn.1:4, 9; 3:19; 8:12; 12:35, 46)
Where your days will ne’er again, be dark as night.

Scriptures for this poem: (Rom.1:17; 3:22, 26-28; 4:5, 24-25; 5:1-2, 9, 18; Jn.3:15-18, 36; 5:24; 6:40, 47; 8:51; 11:26; 12:44; 20:31; 1 Jn.5:10-13)
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

One soul at a time, my pray’r dear Lord,
Let me reach the lost sheep with your Word.
As a sharp sword, the heart it can pierce,
And can slay the opposition, so fierce!

One soul at a time, I pray to thee,
Let the words you give, change their destiny!
Your Word has such tremendous power,
That it makes Satan shudder and cower.

One soul at a time, I beg of you,
That the lost submit to your Word so true.
I must tell of Jesus ev’ry day,
That your Word may touch them; this I pray!

One soul at a time, as I witness,
Telling of Christ, and how He does bless!
I must speak, but YOU must touch the heart,
Then the new life in Christ, has its start.

One soul at a time; release from Hell,
That they may instead, in Heaven dwell!
With truth and power, you can rearrange,
The lives of the lost ones; and surely change!

I pray dear Lord, one soul at a time,
That I may reach with your Word divine.
Let me make a difference, in one soul today,
Let me with your Word, show Christ is the WAY!

Lord, You are always one step ahead,
When I follow You, there is no dread.
You know the way, much better than I,
Your guidance, I should never deny.

One step ahead, You know all the snares,
So I should follow You, with great care.
I will not fall, if I follow You,
I should trust Your guidance, right and true.

One step ahead, tho’ the waters roar,
Confidence is mine, as my spirit soars.
True and trustworthy, You are my Friend,
I must trust You Lord, till the v’ry end.

One step ahead, for You are close by,
Lord, I know that on You, I can rely.
I must keep my faith, and persevere,
I can’t go wrong, for You’re always near.

He leads me gently, one step at a time,
‘Tis a blessing no one can undermine.
He’s there to guide as my path unfolds,
If I should stumble, my hand He will hold.

No one knows what tomorrow will bring,
But if He is with me, nothing can sting.
Only God knows the end of all to come,
Walk close to Him, do not from Him roam.

We need not fret ‘bout the troubles of life,
Trust in His goodness, you’ll have less strife.
His grace is sufficient for me and you,
Believe and accept, it’s not much to do.

One step at a time, as each day unfurls,
Gently He leads, without any quarrel.
We are to walk by faith and not by sight,
Trust in God, for He knows our ev’ry plight.

Living in Christ, gets harder each day,
Satan oppresses in so many ways.
One step forward, but then two steps back,
Satan works hard, to get me off track.

I know how the apostle did feel,
The wrongs he did, were ever so real.
Paul always wanted, just good to do,
But the sin deep inside, would show thru’.

One step forward; two back the wrong way,
At times it seems hopeless, with sin’s wide array.
Sharp, bitter words pop out of my head,
When kind, gentle words, I should use instead.

I want to do only, good, right things,
But sin that dwells in me, evil brings.
Sin wars against the inner man inside,
And the Spirit convicts, as He abides.

Good? bad? often I make the wrong choice,
I act too fast; list’ to the wrong voice.
Then the Spirit convicts, of wrongs I’ve done,
And I feel rotten, in front of God’s Son.

I’m supposed to imitate my Lord,
Yet Satan is near, with his discord.
And so v’ry often I go the wrong way,
I fall for Satan’s tricks, ev’ry day.

The good that I should, I do not do,
That awful evil, instead shows thru’.
Dear Jesus, when will I ever learn?
Help dear Lord, all evil to spurn.

So unsure, with a restless desire,
Greedily trying ‘things’ to acquire.
Hateful and sad; and so unhappy,
I had no peace, nor serenity.

Anxiety always; life was stress,
Doing evil; never righteousness.
I was so pitiful, and forlorn,
At times, I wished I’d never been born.

Life was sorrowful; I had no hope,
I felt deserted; I could not cope.
Such distress, I had great misery,
O’ how I wished my problems would flee.

Then one sweet day, I had great release,
I found Jesus; He gave wondrous peace!
Trials still come daily, one by one,
But I now have the help of God’s Son!

He forgave my sins by wondrous grace,
Now I look forward to seeing His Face.
He saved my soul from the pits of Hell,
And one day with Him, in Heav’n, I’ll dwell.

ONE THING . . . May 2009 Monthly Message

There is one thing that I truly desire,
When from this life, that I do retire.
That I may, in the house of the Lord be,
And see His beauty, for eternity.

There is one thing, that happens to all,
Be it man or beast, death shall befall.
As we live on Earth, we must look ahead,
We face Heav’n’s bliss, or Hell’s awful dread.

Millions will lack, one specific thing,
Failure to make Christ, Master and King!
Many will be grieved, as they go their way,
For they choose worldly riches, each day.

There is one thing that all people need,
To sit at Christ’s Feet, and His teachings heed.
We must not ever, too busy be,
To draw close to the King, of eternity.

One special thing, all believers know,
Christ Jesus is our Friend, not our foe.
Once we were so blind, but now we see,
Once Satan bound us, now we are free.

One certain thing, to which we must mind,
Forget all the sins, that are behind.
There is not one thing, that we can change,
Run the race before us, that God does arrange.

There is one absolute fact, my friend,
God is in charge, from now to the end.
His time clock and ours, is not the same,
Just always be ready, and praise His Name.

Our Creator God is a unique God,
Always just, pure and true, never a fraud.
No one can equal, or with Him compete,
And absolutely no one, can defeat!

God cannot be diagrammed or drawn,
And He certainly will not be your pawn!
God can’t be analyzed by you or me,
Not this day, nor in eternity!

Laws of physics or mathematics can’t confine,
Our Creator God with His love so fine.
He is not the God of most folk today,
But just He can save; there’s no other way!

The three Persons of our God do agree,
They are always in perfect harmony!
It is impossible to separate,
Also impossible to duplicate!

Friend, do you know the God of the Bible?
He is there for all races and people.
There’s just one true God in the universe,
Yet most have their own; and the true God curse.

Do you worship another God this day?
Friend, if you do, you’re headed the wrong way!
ALL other gods lead to Hell’s agony,
Only the true God can grant Heaven’s ‘key’.

When I see the beauty the Lord has made,
How I praise Him as I walk in His glade.
Beauty of mountains, so mighty and tall,
In the lofty trees, little birds so small.

Fertile valleys, planted with fruits and crops,
Rain and snow from Heav’n, only He can drop!
Pastures filled with cattle, grass so green,
Gently rushing waters of a pretty stream.

I look out my window at birds so free,
Sing their beautiful songs up in the tree.
How I thank Him, and praise His holy Name,
For each and ev’ry thing; and that Jesus came!

I specially thank God for sending His Son,
Whoever accepts Him, life’s just begun!
When you have Jesus deep down in your heart,
It’s very easy each new day to start!

Look around, at the beauty of His Hand,
No one but God, all this could have planned!
From the highest Heav’n, to Hell deep below,
Only from God, could all these wonders flow!

Only God could have made the universe,
His wisdom and might, He did disperse.
Everything that was made, He did make,
With Almighty power, when He spake.

Forests and lakes, with beauty untold,
Painted deserts, with cacti to behold.
Majestic mountains so very tall,
Give space for the gorgeous waterfall.

Vast blue oceans that stretch, wide and deep,
Are given boundaries, that they do keep.
A multitude of life, He did place,
In these water’s precious holding space.

In His image, did God create man,
He gave him rule o’er all, ‘twas His plan.
He made us all, no matter who we are,
We’re to live in harmony, near and far.

This wondrous world, to us He did give,
Such a marvelous place, for us to live.
But a far better place, we will go,
If we believe, and our Saviour know.

His precious Blood cleanses, and makes amends.
Only Jesus’ Blood can justify,
And your friendship with God, verify!

Only thru’ Christ, can you have forgiveness,
Only thru’ the Saviour will God bless.
God will wipe out your sin, completely,
And from Satan’s chains, you will be free!

Only thru’ Jesus can you have peace,
Stress and worry, the Lord will release.
Great peace you can have down in your heart,
Things will change, for you have a new start.

Only thru’ Jesus, can you have joy,
A feeling within, that no one can destroy.
Ev’n in sorrow, your joy will remain,
The Presence of Jesus, give great gain!

Majestic mountains reaching so high,
Such grandeur, we simply can’t deny.
Only One ,could have made such beauty,
Not just beauty; too, serenity.

Notice; how the sky always does change,
All the vast clouds, He does re-arrange.
From dark, angry ones, to puffy white,
Only One, can control, day or night.

He made unnumber’d living creatures,
Only One, can make them all endure.
From the smallest insect; to huge whale,
All are perfect; our God, cannot fail!

A multitude of vegetation,
And so few, show their appreciation.
Grass, trees, flowers, large crops for our food,
So many more, I did not include.

Only One, could have made our body,
It functions; with organs so many.
We see, hear, smell, taste, and have feelings,
Only One, could create this grand thing!

Our body has a spirit, and soul,
Meaning that we are complete and whole.
Just as our God is a Trinity,
We’re made in His image, so closely.

Our soul is eternal, it lives alway,
Only One, could have made it that way!
He also made two places to go,
In Heaven, with Him; OR ,Hell below!

Only one thing will never forsake,
Whether you’re asleep, or wide awake!

The love of Jesus, is the one thing,
That will for ever, blessings to you bring.
In grief or sorrow, it’s always there,
To give you strength, your burdens to bear!

This one wondrous thing; His awesome love,
This love comes only from Heaven above!
In moments of doubt, or times of fear,
His amazing love is always near!

When troubles come; be they large or small,
This one thing can surround them all!
When your heart is heavy, and you weep,
His wonderful love, will calmly keep!

Only this one thing, gives joy and peace,
And from the burden of sin --- release!
There is no greater consolation,
Than love of the One, who gives salvation!

We should be thankful for this one thing,
We should praise the Lord, for this blessing!
NO other thing, is better than His love,
There for eternity, from above!

Only thru’ Jesus, can we have peace,
This deep, warm feeling that will not cease.
The world does struggle for peace each day,
But without Christ, it’s far, far away!

Only thru’ Jesus, can we have joy,
Contentment, that no man can destroy.
Joy is so much more than happiness,
It feels as if your soul, God does caress!

Only thru’ Jesus, can we have pow’r,
His strength is there for us, hour after hour.
Without His nourishment, we are weak,
Let us all be wise, and His pow’r seek!

Only thru’ Jesus, can Heav’n be ours,
Our awesome Saviour, with all the scars.
He died on that cross, for you and me,
That we might have life, eternally!

Many are the roads in the world today,
They lead to many places; in all ways.
Many destinations; our choice to make,
We will arrive, if the right road we take.

Eternity has just two special roads,
One narrow and strait; the other, so broad.
Just two destinations to eternity,
Heav’n and Hell; which will be your destiny?

The choice is yours, only you can decide,
Heaven or Hell; just where will you abide?
Your soul is eternal; it lives alway,
Which of these two roads are you on today?

God is so patient; He does love you so,
He does not want any, to Hell to go.
He is so righteous, so just and so true,
You must BELIEVE Him, or He won’t rescue.

Christ says: “Enter ye in at the strait gate,”
Stay on that narrow road, to Heav’n so great.
If you do choose that road, so smooth and broad,
You’ll end up in Hell, and never see God.

Salvation is easy, God made it so,
BELIEVE Him in faith, and to Heav’n you’ll go!
But, if you reject His Plan, His own Son,
You’re already condemned; Hell you’ve won.

Christ has only our hands, to do His work today,
He has just our feet, to lead lost ones His way.
Jesus has only our tongue, to tell how He died,
He has just our help, to bring people to His side.

We are the only Bible, some folks will ever read,
We must bring Christ’s Gospel, in our words and our deeds.
We may be the last message, some may ever hear,
We must tell of Jesus, ev’n tho’ most will sneer.

Don’t get too busy with work, other than His,
Don’t let Satan lead, to where sin’s allurement is.
Don’t speak evil things, Christ Jesus lips would spurn,

Jesus, only You, are the perfect Friend,
With friendship real, You never pretend!
Only You give love, I’ve come to expect,
Unconditional love, completely perfect!

Only You, can guide, in all right paths,
Leading away, from sin and God’s wrath!
Only You can lead in the way of peace,
Lord, give me light, that darkness may cease!

Lord, only You, can true comfort give,
The world’s comfort, is brief and defective!
True solace can come, only from You,
Pain lessens, when You come to the rescue!

Only You, can take misery away,
In any anguish, that comes my way!
Only you, can relieve sorrow so deep,
Your mercy is there, each time I weep!

Only You, Jesus, can give me hope,
When it seems I’m at the end of my rope.
Only You can save my soul from Hell,
You give me hope, that in Heav’n, I’ll dwell!

Jesus, only You, possess Heav’n’s key,
Only You can grant life eternally!
Only You can free from sin that binds,
And to Satan, I no longer will be blind.

Only you, Lord, can make me God’s child,
Then to dark Hell, I’ll never be exiled!

Only You

Only you, eternal life can secure,
Thru’ Jesus’ incredible love, so sure!
You must believe, in His Work on the cross,
Unbelief gives you Hell, a total loss!

What God the Father states, you must believe,
Christ is His Son, and Him you must receive!
To reject Jesus, only Hell remains,
The joy of Heaven, you will never gain!

Only you can make, this great decision,
You must decide, with careful precision!
Heaven awaits, when you choose the Right Way,
Choose wrong, painful horror each single day!

For joy in Heaven, YOU are in control,
Just WHERE will you guide, your eternal soul?
Rejection of Christ, brings misery and pain,
In the confines, of Hell’s constant flame.

Where in eternity, we shall reside!
There are only two places, we can go,
To Heaven with Christ, or with Satan below!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)  . . . If you want to go where the Father is, you must go through Jesus! Are you allowing the LORD to guide you to the bliss of Heaven? If not, WHY not?
1 John 5:10-13 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (KJV)
John 3:15-16 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (KJV)

Do you believe this? Do you believe Almighty God?

ONWARD . . . Aug.2002 Message

Onward, till I reach the mountain top,
Tho’ steep and rocky, I must not stop.
Onward, thru’ the sunshine and fierce storms,
The Lord, my character He does form.

Onward, thru’ the valley, dark and deep,
I must not fear, for my soul He’ll keep.
Onward, tho’ I have pain and sorrow,
The Lord leads on, to my tomorrow.

Onward, tho’ I feel I can’t go on,
My strength is renew’d by God’s own Son.
Onward, tho’ at times my faith gets weak,
The Lord will encourage when I seek.

Onward, tho’ persecution comes my way,
I must stand firm for Christ, ev’ry day.
Onward, for Jesus truly will bless,
The Lord will comfort me in my stress.

Onward, till I reach the mountain top,
No matter the trouble, I must not stop.
Onward, with blissful Heav’n as my goal,
For Christ has promis’d safety for my soul.

Dear Lord, open my unseeing eyes,
So oncoming trouble, I’ll recognize.
Open my eyes that I may truly see,
What it is that You expect of me!

Lord, open my ears that refuse to hear,
That your precious Word, I might revere!
Open my ears that I may detect,
Cries of God’s children, I should not neglect.

Lord, open my mind that is tightly bound,
That I may run from the devil’s sound.
Open my mind that I may truly know,
All the wondrous blessings You do bestow.

Dear Lord, take the lock from off my heart,
That I may from sin, speedily depart.
Open my heart that I may truly feel,
Your Presence, ever so close, as I kneel!

Lord, open my mouth that I keep shut tight,
That I might tell of Jesus’ bright light.
Open my mouth that I may confess,
Only thru’ Jesus, will our God bless!

Christ will nudge at your heart, tenderly,
Whispering softly: “Open to Me”!
It’s your decision, to invite Him in,
But you must turn, from your life of sin!

“Open to Me,” a whisper, so low,
His perfect love, He wants you to know!
Christ will never force His ‘way’ on you,
You choose! your life of sin, or one so new!

Christ ‘speaks’ to you, by tugging at your heart,
He wants you, from all sin to depart!
Graciously He knocks at your heart’s door,
“Open to Me” He calls, for blessings in store!

If you, deep inside, a strangeness feel,
‘Tis Christ, His love, wanting to reveal!
“Open to Me” He tenderly calls,
This bidding is open, to one and all!

Christ wants to be part, of your life today,
Open the door; don’t turn Him away!
When you hear Him whisper, “Open to Me,”
Open up wide! for life eternally!

This lowly Shepherd purchased His flock,
With His own Blood, He paid for the stock.
He guides the flock gently ev’ry day,
Keeping their worst enemy away.

He feeds His flock in pastures so green,
And leads them beside a peaceful stream.
His rod and staff are a comfort sure,
With Him always near, the flock endures.

The wondrous Shepherd defends His sheep,
There with pow’r when the devil does creep.
He knows each one of us by our name,
He knows all about our puny frame.

There are times in life that storms abound,
Death, sorrow or illness may confound.
Life can bring depression and anxiety,
We can hurt physically or mentally.

Some times the river is calm and skies are blue,
All seems to be going just right for you.
Then all at once, fierce winds start to blow,
And the river of life rages to and fro.

High angry waves; you have no control,
Friend, you need an Anchor for your soul.
You need Christ to calm and secure you.
In storms of life, He’ll see you thru’.

Your Anchor will grip firmly and hold tight,
In life’s raging storms, both day and night.
If you would only allow Christ to aid,
Of troubles, you need not be afraid.

Do you have an Anchor on which to hold?
He gives comfort, and will make you bold.
He can give peace and security,
Ev’n tho’ life’s storms rage furiously.

Our clock keeps ticking, the hours rush by,
We cannot stop time, no need to try.
God gives each soul, a number of days,
When our time is gone, He’ll take us away.

Then shall the dust return to the Earth,
No matter who, or how much your worth.
When our Creator beckons, we must go,
And leave all we have, here on Earth below.

But you do have an eternal spirit,
At death, your spirit will still exist.
God’s Word is as plain as it can be,
Just read with an open mind, and see.

Our spirit shall return unto God,
He gave it; He’ll take it; the world abroad.
There is no soul sleep as some do say,
Your soul is awake, for ALL your days.

Just what will God do with your spirit?
It goes back to Him, you must admit.
Will your angels carry you to Heav’n?
Or will the prison of Hades be giv’n?

Our clock keeps ticking; time on Earth is brief,
When God takes your soul, will it find relief?
Christ can grant the key to Heaven’s door,
And Hell will be gone from you, for e’er more.

Our Clock

Our body’s time clock, keeps ticking away,
God alone is in control, ev’ry day.
We each have a destined time, here on Earth,
This God decides, from our very birth.
Ps.139:1-6; Ecc.3:1-8, 11; 7:17; 12:1, 13-14;
Jn.14:1-3; Heb.9:27; 1 Pet.4:7-9; 5:5; 1 Jn.3:2-3

Three score and ten, is what the Bible does tell,
This time limit some, here on Earth shall dwell.
God’s Word also states, that we must decide,
Where in eternity, we shall reside.
Ps.90:10; Mat.25:41, 46; Lk.16:26; Jn.5:29;
Jam.4:14; 1 Pet.1:24; 4:7; 1 Jn.2:17

This major decision, we each must make,
We don’t want to go, to Hell’s fiery lake.
We must consider, the alternative,
It’s God’s Heavenly Home, where we want to live.

Our time clock keeps ticking, day after day,
We can’t shut it off, there’s not any way.
We have an allotted time, set aside,
We each must decide, where we shall reside.

Be wise ‘bout your place, in eternity,
It’s the greatest decision, for you and me.
God gave us a free will, we must decide,
Will Heav’n or Hell, be where we reside?

Our clock keeps ticking, death could come today,
We know not when the Lord, will send death our way.

Psalm 73:24  Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. (KJV)

Things which of Earth are seen, and are near,
Were not made of things, which do appear.
The Earth was without form, and empty,
Just darkness, ‘till God gave His decree.

The worlds were then framed, by His Word,
Understanding this, for most is hard!
God expects us, in faith, to believe,
Simply trust Him, and His Words receive.

ALL things by God, He alone; were made,
Tho’ it’s hard, some folks, this to persuade.
He made it ALL, the seen and unseen,
Yet most our God, belittle and demean.

God made Heav’n and Earth, in just six days,
And ALL that’s within; such a display!
The vast Heav’n’s only God could have spread,
Just He, on the waves of the sea, can tread.

God made all beasts, fishes, and birds too,
My friend, He made me, and also you!
In His Hand, is the soul, of ALL who live,
We live and breathe; for life He does give!

When we die, God made two places to go,
Heav’n above with Him, OR Hell below!
This is a choice, you make on your own,
Just BELIEVE GOD, and the way will be shown.

Our God is divine, eternally,
Controlling ev’rything, excellently!
The universe He made is in His Hands,
You and me, and each and ev’ry land.

Our God is pure; completely sinless,
Ev’n tho’ we sin, He’s ready to bless.
Unspeakable; is the word for His love,
Granting showers of mercy from above.

Our God is perfect; holy is He,
Only thru’ Him, can we have victory.
On our own, we would stumble and fall,
The horrors of hell would be on us all.

Our God is untainted; He’s excellent,
His wondrous grace; for us sufficient.
If we repent, our sins He’ll forgive,
Showing mercy to us, each day we live.

Our God is supreme, and He’s sacred,
If we obey Him, we’ll have no dread.

He’s loving and caring, as He does bless.

Our Eternal God

Deep in His precious heart is love,
Warm and caring, from Heav’n above.
Kind and gentle, with great mercy,
Is the great God of eternity!

His awesome goodness overflows,
And to His children, He bestows.
Unique kindness, from Him to us,
Our eternal god, is precious!

His compassion is always there,
Our eternal God, truly cares!
From our sin, he wants us to run,
Seeking Him, he wants us to learn!

Precious and wondrous, is His grace,
Sufficient, as we run our race!
Undeserv'd love, on us He does shed,
Our worst troubles, we need not dread!

Love and grace, from His precious heart,
Come to us, when from sin we depart.
When we accept, His precious Son,
God's grand blessings, have just begun!

Our Lord Jesus is our everything,
And just He, eternal life can bring.
He is our love, love beyond compare,
Love that surrounds us; it’s everywhere!

Christ is our everything, all the time,
All that He is, or does, is sublime.
Wondrous Jesus, such a trusting Friend,
There for us always, ‘til this life ends.

The peace Jesus gives, is everything,
The world can’t possess this peace He brings.
A wondrous feeling, down in your heart,
No one can take it, and it won’t depart!

Christ is our joy, for me and for you,
He’s our everything, He’s tried and true.
Joy unspeakable and full of glory,
Here in this life, and thru’ eternity.

Do you want eternal life in Heaven?
Christ paid everything, that it may be given.
A precious Gift, that removes death’s sting,

Our Father which art in the Heavens above,
I come to you, in humility and love.
Hallowed and holy, be thy awesome Name,
With reverence, I come, and confess my shame.

Thy Kingdom come, and I do pray it be near,
I’m really quite ready, for Christ to appear!
This people has much evil and wickedness,
They cannot see Jesus, they walk in darkness!

Thy will be done in Earth, as it is in Heav’n,
For the sin here today, is as much leaven.
I pray for the day when you will make it right,
Lord, I ask that those lost, will see the “Light”.

Lord, give us each day, food, and strength to go on,
For I am so weak, I do need your Son!
I cannot do anything by myself alone,
A Shepherd I need, for the way to be shown!

Forgive my trespasses, when I sin against you,
Let your Spirit help me to live a life that’s true.
Please help me Father, so I can forgive,
A hard lesson to learn, in the life I live.

Please keep Satan and his evil plans away,
For in my weakness, I just could be swayed!
When temptations do come, help me to be strong,
I don’t want to sin, I don’t want to do wrong!

For thine is the Kingdom, glory and power,
And in your presence, the whole world should cower.
I lift up my heart in such great love and praise,
My prayer of gratitude, to you I do raise!

Trouble will come, our soul to try,
But there’s a Friend, standing by.
There’s always something He can do,
To encourage, and comfort you.

There will be trials, all our own,
Many paths, we must go alone.
At times just His love, can smooth the road,
Our Friend will help us carry our load.

It’s a privilege, to have this Friend,
For He’ll stand by us, till the end.
His compassion, thru’ all will endure,
Our Friend’s great love, holds fast and sure.

In troubles, our Friend will pull you thru’,
To ease the strain, He’ll walk with you.

Remember our Friend, who stands close by!

O great, awesome God of mystery,
I can’t comprehend eternity!
You always were and will be always,
Your eternal Spirit knows no days!

You are such a wondrous God of love,
Sending us your Son, from Heav’n above!
Belief in Him, washes sins away,
You declare us “not guilty” from that day!

O God of Truth, You have always been,
There can never be a lie within!
Always steadfast and loyal to all,
The rich and poor, the great and small!

An amazing God of peace and joy,
These great blessings no one can destroy!
Peace like a river, floods my soul,
For your Holy spirit has control!

You have the key and will open the gate!

We’ll find many hard roads on life’s journey,
As we wind our way to eternity.
But we have a Guide, who will lead us right,
For His light will shine in the darkest night!

Upward we climb, on a steep, rocky trail,
But if our Guide directs, we cannot fail!
We’ll not slip and fall as we journey on,
But we must trust our Guide; God’s own Son!

As we travel down a rugged crevasse,
Our Saviour will lead us, and He will bless!
We must keep our faith when we’re down and out,
Always trusting our Guide, never to doubt!

We will come to many detours in life,
Satan will tempt us with troubles and strife.
But ‘round those bumpy paths, our Guide will lead,
If only His right counsel, we will heed!

A constant, smooth road, our trip will not be,
As we journey on, to eternity!
We’ll have ups and downs; sunshine and rain,
But vict’ry is ours, our Guide will sustain!

Father of Mercies, Father of Love,
You watch o’er us, from Your home above.
You see all we do; hear all we say,
You watch Your children, day after day.

Father of Wisdom, Father of Pow’r,
Your watch care continues, hour after hour.
Never a heartache, never a fear,
You see our troubles, for You’re always near.

Father of Comfort, Father of Peace,
Your eye is watching; it ne’er does cease.
You never slumber; You’re always there,
Because for Your children, You do care.

Father of Guidance, Father of Light,
Your brilliance makes the blackest night bright.
On the right roads, You lovingly guide,
You truly want, with us to abide.

Our Father of complete forgiveness,
Moment by moment, Your children you bless.
Thru’ Your precious Son, comes blessings untold,
Minute by minute, they do unfold.

One day Christ shall arise in all power,
All that hate Him, shall before Him cower.
His enemies shall flee, as smoke flies away,
The wicked shall melt, as wax that day.

Only the righteous shall rejoice and be glad,
They will ne’er again have cause to be sad.
Singing to God, of His honor and praise,
Thanking Him for the rest of their days.

Blessed be God, who sent His Son to save,
Without Christ, we’d be lost, and depraved.
Praise be to His holy, marvelous Name,
Without Him, we’d be doomed to Hell’s shame.

Make a joyful noise to God, all ye lands,
Serve the Lord with gladness; He broke our bands.
Come before His presence with singing,
Let it be as Heav’n, with bells ringing!

Blessed be our God, bless His holy Name,
God is the awesome One, and to Earth He came.
Know ye that the Lord is God from above,
He has great mercy, compassion, and love!

God is the Creator, of ev’ry thing,
Of His greatness, the whole universe rings.
Give to God the honor He does deserve,
Give love and glory, forgetting not to serve.

Our journey advances, day by day,
Each one, a diff’rent attitude displays.
Retreat is something, we cannot do,
We just keep plodding on, me and you.

To be young again, is wished by most,
They don’t want to leave, these earthly coasts.
But this Earth is not, our perm’nant home,
Just for a time, this world we’ll roam.

What lies ahead, as you journey on?
Will you be in the Arms, of God’s own Son?
Are you trav’ling that strait, narrow road?
The one that leads to Heaven’s abode?

As your journey advances, what’s ahead?
Sheer bliss of Heaven? or eternal dread?
Are you trav’ling, on that road so wide?
That leads to Hell, where you will abide?

You can’t go back, but you can change your path,
That small road leads, away from God’s wrath.
Your journey’s end can be, Heaven above,
And you’ll live in a mansion, made by love.

Our life is like a turbulent sea,
As Satan tries to control our destiny!
Only Christ can give comfort and peace,
Just Jesus gives joy that will never cease!

Life’s like a storm with vast angry waves,
Just Christ can keep us; just He can save!
Life’s troubles at times engulf us, it seems,
We must turn away from Satan’s schemes!

Our life is like a violent wind,
Only Christ that fury can rescind!
Satan tries to guide us on the wrong path,
He tries desperately to raise God’s wrath.

Life can be like someone ready to drown,
But when we grasp for Christ, Satan frowns!
We can trust Jesus to throw us a rope,
When trials of life take away our hope!

A Life Saver; a Rope to hold on to,
Christ is always there to see us thru’!
He’s always there, to the very end,
Not anywhere, is there a better Friend!

Our Creator God, is a unique God,
Always just, pure and true; never a fraud.
NO one can equal, or with Him compete,
And absolutely NO one can defeat!

God cannot be diagrammed or drawn,
And He certainly will not be your pawn.
God can’t be analyzed by you or me,
Not this day, nor in eternity.

Laws of physics or mathematics can’t confine,
Our Creator God, with His love so fine.
He is not the God of the world today,
But just He can save; there’s NO other way!

Our Creator God is a Trinity,
Three Persons, ONE GOD, for eternity!
The Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit,
Tho’ many, this doctrine, will not admit.

The three Persons of our God do agree,
They are ALWAYS in perfect harmony!
It is impossible to separate,
Also impossible, to duplicate!

Friend, do you know the God of the Bible?
He’s there this day, for ALL races and people.
There’s just ONE TRUE GOD in the universe,
Yet most have their own, and the true God curse.

Do you worship another god this day?
Friend, if you do, you’re headed the wrong way.
ALL other gods lead to Hell’s agony,
Only the true God, can grant Heaven’s key!

Our only hope lies with our Creator,
Our living God, whom we should adore.
He made a Way to save our very soul,
And that is Christ; and He must be our goal.

Christ Jesus is our one and only hope,
Without a Saviour, we’ll only grope.
We’d be doomed to the dark pits of Hell,
And there in agony, for e’er to dwell.

Our only hope lies in our living God,
God is not dead; not here OR abroad.
Our God lives for e’er; and He’ll ne’er change,
What a shame most folk, from Him are estranged.

Our only hope lies in our God above,
He sent His Son to save us; out of love!
Jesus holds the fate of both you and me,
Trust Him to save you; He’ll set you free.

Our only hope lies in God’s mighty Hand,
He holds the fate of every land.

He’s the ‘Rock’, His work is always perfect,
With Him, no plan or work is e’er defect.
A God of truth, without iniquity,
And to please Him, this is how we must be.

Just how can we be without iniquity?
All sin; on our own, we are infirmity.
But God made a plan, ‘fore He made the world,
To be perfect, we must trust Christ, as Lord.

When we trust Jesus to save us from Hell,
God makes us His children, His Word does tell.
Christ was made sin for us, who knew no sin,
We’re made the righteousness of God in Him.

As for God, His way is always perfect,
He’s always right; we should always respect.
He’s a buckler to all that trust in Him,
Believe what He says, life won’t be so grim.

The Lord God is righteous, in all His ways,
There’s nothing wrong or unjust, all His days.
He’s nigh unto all that call upon Him,
Don’t wait too long, that your chance grows slim.

What our God does, it shall be forever,
I’m His today; this tie He’ll not sever.
His perfect salvation plan will rescue,
This means “Whosoever”, it means me and you!

Our prayer should be the ‘key’ of our day,
It opens God’s vault, and His will displays.
The door of Heav’n’s treasure opens wide,
Faith is the ‘key’ to have what’s inside.

Prayer is the ‘ladder’ ‘tween Heav’n and Earth,
It reaches to God, and His great worth.
Our faith unlocks the door to God’s treasure,
By that faith we give God great pleasure.

Prayer lays hold of God’s willingness,
Who’s there for His children; ready to bless.
Prayer will help, no matter our plight,
Prayer should be the ‘lock’ of our night.

OUR SAVIOUR’S LOVE . . . Nov.2007 Message

Our Saviour’s love is something, that no one can explain,
It consists of loyalty, faithfulness, sacrifice, and pain!
His unselfish, deep love will always endless be,
Through these days of toil and sorrow, on thru’ eternity!

He gave of Himself, to benefit the sinner,
Without a doubt, He’s our victorious winner.
His awesome, enduring love will last forever,
There’s nothing on this Earth, from us can sever.

Nothing can destroy it, or take it away,
It will be there always, come what may.
Our Saviour’s love is patient, forgiving and kind,
His love is beyond description, and baffles the mind.

It will not falter, condemn, stumble or fall,
The wondrous love of our Saviour, is there for us all.
I thank and praise Him, for this priceless treasure,
I’m grateful and indebted, far beyond measure.

While we sojourn on Earth, as God’s child,
We must do as Christ, walk meek and mild.
Can you do as Christ, and imitate Him?
This we should do, but I fall short, and sin!

I fall short each day, in the life I live,
Those around me, wrongs I do, they sieve.
Seldom do they mention the good I do,
But the slightest slip, and they misconstrue.

If you confess Christ, the world will watch you,
The closer you walk, more judging they’ll do!
Sadness comes when the persecute and revile,
I’m glad I’m just here, for a little while.

Ev’n those you love, may cut you to the bone,
We’re set apart, and at times I feel so alone!
Without His help, I could not take it,
But He’s by my side, and I will not quit!

These times I feel, down as I can be,
Am I feeling sorry, for the likes of me?
At times life is hard, we can’t go alone,
But with His strength, we’re not on our own.

Don’t ever doubt Him, have faith He’s there,
He’ll not leave nor forsake, for He does care!
When those all around, so disappoint you,
Remember our Saviour, He’s always true!

OUR WONDROUS GOD . . . Oct.1997 Message

The sun slowly rises thru’ the clouds,
Its brilliant rays, removes the night’s shroud.
Magnificent beauty God does give,
He blesses us daily as we live.

Sitting beside a wonderful stream,
The beauty is perfect, like a dream!
List’ to the water rippling; close your eyes,
Such peacefulness will just hypnotize.

Look at the majestic mountain there,
And the eagle flying without a care.
God surely does take care of His own,
E’vn to the sparrow, His love is shown.

Gazing down in a canyon so deep,
Gorgeous colors array cliffs so steep.
Things that are low, things high; all He made,
The barren desert and the marshy glade.

In each sunset, a dazzling array,
His great handiwork, He does display.
Always to us such blessings He gives,
We need to thank Him, each day we live!

Night pulls the dark down like a blanket,
The wondrous moon and stars are then set.
God made this time for man to rest,
From toil and weariness, we are blest.

A wondrous God we have there above,
In so many ways, He shows His love.
He sent His one Son, to save my soul,
And He put my name, on Heaven’s roll!

Out of my sin, and darkness so deep,
Out of a carefree and threat’ning sleep.
Into the brightness and glory of God,
Into His service, each day as I trod.

Out of the valley’s shadow of death,
Out of the stench of the Wicked One’s breath.
Into Christ’s safe Arms, ever so strong,
Into a life where He keeps me from wrong.

Out of sin’s bondage and heavy chains,
Out of Satan’s grip, where sin does stain.
Into a life of great joy and peace,
Into forgiveness, and burdens releas’d.

Out of calamity, and decline complete,
Out of my conflict and chilling defeat.
Into a life of contentment and rest,
Into a life where I’m happy and blest.

Out of my sorrow, bondage and shame,
Out of wickedness; to evil to name.
Into Christ’s righteousness and peace that lasts,
Into great Light, that from Him is cast.

Out of my guilt, and Hell’s appalling gloom,
Out of dreaded judgment, panic and doom.
Into hope and comfort without a ploy,
Into a life of such perfect joy.

Out of my hard heart and prideful will,
Out of my yearning that nothing could fill.
Into a life of happiness, I now dwell,
Into Christ Jesus; more blest than I can tell.

Out of the Pits of Hell . . . May 2012 Monthly Message

Out of the pits of Hell, into Jesus’ Arms,
Believing removes us, from Satan’s harm.
What we are, is a child of the wicked one,
Until we believe and accept, God’s own Son!

Children of the devil, go to fiery Hell,
There eternally, in agony they’ll dwell.
God’s children will go, to the opposite place,
To blissful Heav’n, where we’ll see Jesus’ Face!

To live in disobedience, brings God’s wrath,
But there are so many, on that big, broad path.
A child of God loves the Lord, will trust and obey,
He walks with Jesus, for there’s no other way!

Going Satan’s route, is the wrong way to go,
For it will only bring, eternal sorrow.
But walking with Jesus, in His precious Light,
Will lead you to Heav’n, a most glorious sight.

The Lord gives every one, a will of their own,
And He gives the Bible, so the Way is shown.
The choice is before us, we must decide,
Just where in eternity, we will reside.

Do you want the pits of Hell? Or Jesus’ Arms?
Believing God removes you, from Satan’s harm.
Will you keep on, as a child of the wicked one?
Or will you believe God, and accept His Son?
