POEMS . . . M

There’s a world of ‘make believe’ today,
From God and His Word, most folks do stray.
They won’t acknowledge or admit their sin,
The road to repentance, they’ll not begin.

They say right is wrong, and wrong is right,
They say white is black, and black is white.
Things must be ‘politically correct’,
And Christ as Saviour, they do reject!

They go to church, “To worship” they say,
But God is far from them, ev’ry day!
God’s true Word, they will not tolerate,
So Satan’s doctrines, preachers do inflate!

They practice sin, and think nothing’s wrong,
For there are many others in their throng!
Abortion’s fine; too adultery,
Also homosexuality.

The ‘make believe’ world, we must reject,
Christians instead must God’s Word accept!
We must live with eternity in mind,
To Satan’s deception, we must be blind.

Only God’s children will access Heaven,
When they accept the GIFT God has given!
The ‘true world’ is held by God’s own Son,
Just thru’ Christ can eternal life be won!

God has invited, each one, and all,
To eternal life, lest they do fall.
They were bidden, but most would not come,
O’ such fools, just where is their wisdom?

Ev’ry one has an excuse it seems,
Logical to them, but to God, a scheme.
No pretext will e’er keep you from Hell,
Friend, without Jesus, there you will dwell.

Others try to get in, on their own,
Rituals and good works, can’t atone.
No good works you do can circumvent,
You must believe on Christ, whom God hath sent.

You must have the garment of righteousness,
Received of Christ, when Him you confess.
Without this garment, you’ll be cast out,
With all unbelievers, ‘round about.

Our righteousness is as filthy rags,
We have nothing, of which we can brag!
Kneel at the Cross, be washed in His Blood,
You will be clean, by that precious Flood.

Many are called, but few do go,
They do not think about tomorrow.
They must think, that in Heaven they’ll dwell,
But ALL without Christ, will go to Hell!

There are many ‘gods’ in the world today,
What do you worship, as you go your way?
A ‘god’ can be what you want it to be,
But only Almighty God gives victory!

A ‘god’ is anything, first in your heart,
Wealth, fame, power, pleasure; gives us a start.
A ‘god’ is anyone, you place above Him,
Unless you change, life in Heav’n, is surely slim.

Our God is a jealous God; pure and true,
We must love our Creator, me and you.
Why dost thou against Him strive and contend?
Don’t you know He wants you to be His friend?

Only Almighty God can save your soul,
No other god you choose, has this control.
Just Almighty God can give Heaven’s key,
Worship another; Hell is your decree.

Many mansions are in God’s House, so great,
So many, we can’t even estimate.
Jesus has told us He went to prepare,
He will come again, we need not despair.

These mansions are there; His Words are true.
If they were not, He’d have told me and you.
A mansion awaits each and ev’ry one,
That has accepted Jesus, God’s Son.

One day He’ll descend from Heav’n, with a shout,
If you belong to Him, He’ll call you out!
The dead in Christ are first to hear their name,
Then too, we which are alive and remain.

IF we BELIEVE Christ died and rose again,
We’ll hear our name, called out so plain!
We’ll be caught up together in the clouds,
To meet the Lord in the air, with the crowd.

This ‘day’ will come as a thief in the night,
Watch ye therefore; with your heart contrite.
We know not what hour our Lord doth come,
We should be ready, when He calls us ‘Home’.

Many Mistakes

Mistakes, I make 'em, every single day,
As I strive to walk, on that narrow way.
Why can't I think ahead, before I do?
Then decisions would come out, right and true.

Horrible blunders, so often I make,
Not thinking ahead, is my biggest mistake.
Why can't I realize, wisdom is best?
Will I ever be that wise, to pass this test?

Walking wrong roads, as I live on this land,
Falling often, into the devil's hand.
Unto temptation, I oft' times give in,
Walking with Satan, on the road of sin.

Wrong decisions, come too easy for me,
As I live my life, careless and carefree.
I never considered, what was ahead,
I wanted no sorrow, wanted no dread.

Wrong decisions, will continue for me,
But now I do think, of eternity.
I know Earth is not, my permanent home,
As I strive, on the narrow road, to roam.

A Bible Truth: there will be a Judgment Day,
And each one of us, shall receive just pay.
According to works, what we think and do,
Is how we shall be judged, both me and you.

We all must consider, more carefully,
As we each walk, toward eternity.
We must be wise, and think before we do,
If we want to be, some of Heaven's "few."

Rescind a Promise, God will never do,
Whatever He states, consider it true.
Our precious Saviour, cannot ever lie,
Because of this, on Him we can rely.

The Lord keeps a sharp eye, on how we live,
And when we confess sins, He will forgive.
Our great God, has compassion and mercy,
On all those who love Him, like you and me.

God makes many Promises, in His Book,
But most people, don’t even think to look.
God makes Promises, to those who love Him,
But to the wicked, a destiny so grim.

God promises His children, such great things,
He provides for us, abundant blessings.
Here in this life, and thru’ eternity,
Wonderful Promises, for you and me.

God promises unbelievers, things too,
His just and holy wrath, comes into view.
All who refuse God’s one and only Son,
Are on the big, broad road, to perdition.

God makes a Promise, a mansion above,
To all who obey, and turn to Him in love.
God also makes a Promise, Hell below,
To all who reject Him, and don’t follow.

It is your choice, the Promise that you claim,
Heav’n can be yours, IF you go in His name.
But the Promise of Hell waits, agony,
If you turn away, in apostasy.

So many things take place as we live,
We’d not make it, if grace God didn’t give.
Heartache and loneliness, pain and stress,
Sickness and death; we have much sadness.

At times we’ll try; but end in failure,
Then feel inadequate and insecure!
We misplace loyalty; trusting wrong ones,
And face rejection when we’re shunned.

Confusion, anxiety; all around!
Pressure and anguish surely abound.
Guilt, and sometimes we feel hopelessness,
Suffering and hurt, and much distress.

What e’er comes, which Satan has hurled,
Be ye not conformed to this world.
Count it all joy when temptations come,
Go; ask God for patience and wisdom.

Our temptations may be heavy and great,
But God in Heav’n, is compassionate.
The trial of your faith is worth more than gold,
Go to Him for help; He’ll never scold!

If you believe God; all that He said,
You will have nothing, ever, to dread.
His Son will help you this life to live,
AND, eternal life, to you, He’ll give!

Many walk thru’ the valley of shadows,
Suffer’ing from pain, depression and sorrows.
But God will never leave, nor forsake you,
No matter your burden, He’ll see you thru’.

Many walk in darkness, during the day,
The sun can’t penetrate their clouds of gray.
Except for the Lord, they’d stumble and fall,
But He lifts them up, when He hears their call.

Many walk thru’ scary valleys of fear,
When the Lord speaks, they just can’t seem to hear.
But His loving Presence, is close always,
He comforts and encourages, each day.

Many walk, struggling up mountains of doubt,
Faith is something we cannot do without.
Sincere heart-felt prayer, always pleases Him,
It increases faith, thus making doubt dim.

God’s children at times, walk disorderly paths,
Hoping they won’t bring on, God’s Holy wrath.
It’s senseless, to try to do things our way,
We need His wisdom and pow’r, ev’ry day.

When we turn our back, on His loving aid,
It causes pain and sorrow, and we’re afraid.
In our God we should place our complete trust,
Our faith pleases Him, our faith is a must.

Let us imitate our Saviour and Lord,
And not do anything, foolish or absurd.
To our precious Saviour we must be true,
We don’t want to hear, “I never knew you.”

Joined together, two become one,
A life long commitment, now begun!
A man and his wife; also best friends,
Love should be abundant, ne’er to end!

Care and compassion must flow so free,
Life’s problems must be borne patiently!
Trials or burdens may come each day,
But Christ’s pow’r and help are not far away!

Marriage is not a fifty-fifty deal,
It’s one hundred percent; and it’s for real!
Each must give their utmost, in all they do,
Trusting each other, and staying true!

This commitment, is symbolized by a ring,
Shows marriage should be never ending!
Let pray’r to the Lord, start each new day,
As you love each other and the Lord obey!

Lord, I’m so wretched, how I have failed you,
The old me is sinful, it keeps coming thru.
My old self, mind and nature; gives in to sin,
No matter how hard I try, it seems to win.

My heart is so deceitful; who can know it?
My mind dreams up evil, and it just won’t quit.
Seems I want to do wrong; the old me responds,
Satan says “DO”, I do; above and beyond.

Lord, I’m so wretched, how I fail you each day,
The fight inside is a never ending sway.
Old me at war, against the good one, so new,
Lord, I need you or this day, I won’t get thru’.

“What I would” is what the new me wants to do,
“That I do not”, the old me turns against you.
What the new me hates, the old me simply does,
Lord, I’m so weak, I need power to oppose.

Lord, I’m so wretched, how I have failed you,
I do so hate these wicked things that I do.
I must yield my all, let your Spirit guide me,
Then from this sinfulness, you will help me flee.

Lord, have mercy upon me; blot out my sins,
Wash me completely, cleanse me from deep within.
I acknowledge my wrongs; sin is before me,
Wash me with His precious Blood, and I’ll be free.

I thank Almighty God, thru’ Jesus our Lord,
For He has delivered me, from all discord.
This life here on Earth, has such struggles within,
So we must turn to Jesus; as each day begins.

Memories I have of long ago,
When precious Jesus I did not know.
So many years from Him I did flee,
But He was patient; waiting for me.

As a child, I rode my sled one day,
As young children do, happy at play.
At the bottom of the hill, was a well,
Head first into it, I simply fell.

My aunt walked, on a path close by,
And she saw my play time go awry.
She was there in a flash, ‘fore I could shout.
She reached and caught me, and pulled me out,

My Saviour had other plans for me,
Death in that well, was not my destiny.
He saved me to do things I knew not then,
I would serve Him; reaching out to lost men.

I let Satan keep me in his net,
Those wasted years I truly regret.
But praise be to Christ, I’ll now serve always,
Clinging to Him the rest of my days.

Most folk don’t think ‘bout eternity,
They live their life, happy go lucky.
But this life on Earth will one day end,
Will you go above? or will you descend?

Each person belongs to two fam’lies,
God plainly states; ‘tis no mystery. 1 Jn.3:10
Earthly fam’ly; and spiritual too,
We belong to two fam’lies; me and you.

Our physical fam’ly, with kinfolk dear,
Mean much to most folk; they want them near.
Fam’lies go back to Adam and Eve,
Physical fam’lies, to each other cleave.

Without Christ, to Satan we belong, Ep.2:2-3; 1 Jn.3:10; Jn.8:44
Chasing evil, with an ungodly throng. Ro.1:18; Pro.2:14-15; 14:12
This spiritual fam’ly will go to Hell, Jn.3:18,36; 8:24; Mk.8:36
And there, eternally, these will dwell. Rev.20:15; Mt.25:41, 46

The other spiritual fam’ly, is God’s, Jn.1:12-13; Ro.8:14; 1 Jn.3:10
When we no longer on wrong paths trod. Mt.7:13
Jesus can place you on this right road, Mt.7:14; Lu.1:79; Jn.10:3-4
To Heav’n above; the Father’s abode. Jn.14:2-3; Rev.21:22-23

Physical fam’ly, and spiritual too,
We belong to both these, me and you!
We’ll live forever, spiritually,
Just where will you live, eternally?
By: His servant, Connie Kramer Feb.13,1998 # 457

If you choose the broad road that leads to Hell,
That place of judgment, where all evil dwells.
You will have memories, for ever more,
The Bible does tell what is held in store.

Today most folk don’t study the Good Book,
They’d see for themselves, if they’d just look!
ALL who reject Christ, will end up in Hell,
And in that awful place, for e’er they’ll dwell!

Those who are there, wish they had one more try,
They look back; and for loved ones do cry.
Rejection of Jesus, they see in remorse,
If they had one more chance, they’d change their course!

The anger, pain, misery, and the thirst,
All the suffering; their minds near do burst.
Such a clear memory, of when on Earth,
But they rejected Christ, and all His worth!

If you were to ask any one of those,
There in dark Hell, where God’s judgment flows,
“Is there any thing I can do for you?”
They’d say: “Yes, tell others what Christ can do.”

Lord, I am like the humble mistletoe,
With no root of my own, in the soil to grow.
I just cling to my tree, Jesus, my Lord,
I can’t make it without Him and His Word!

Like the mistletoe depends on a tree,
For its total existence; all so free,
I depend on Jesus for my very all,
Just a day without Him, I’d surely fall.

Only with Jesus can I prosper and live,
All I need in life, He surely does give!
Like the mistletoe, I’ll continue to cling,
And until I die, His praises I’ll sing!

MONEY . . . May 2011 Message

Money is not, the measure of wealth,
Consider instead, your spiritual health.
If we seek God, and His righteousness,
We will have abundant, blessedness.

The devil tells us, money comes first,
Lust for riches, in God’s eyes, is cursed.
Your treasures on Earth, thieves can steal,
But treasures in Heav’n, God will conceal.

Love is something, money cannot buy,
But it’s amazing, how many do try.
Love comes only, from way deep within,
No sum of money, can true love win.

Neither can money buy, happiness,
Lusting for riches, brings just sadness.
Happiness comes from, being content,
That comes only, when Christ is present.

Eternal wealth is what we should seek,
We must cast pride away, we must be meek.
Those who covet, will not get to Heav’n,
The depths of Hell, instead shall be giv’n.

Lust for riches, will choke out God’s Word,
It will not from God, bring you a reward.
Life does not consist, of what you possess,
Being right with God, is true success.

With such things as you have, be content,
His grace shall always, be sufficient.
Being God’s friend, gives life eternally,
Far, far better, than all the world’s money!

More of Jesus, in my life I need,
Without Him, I wouldn’t want to proceed.
More of His love, that I can pass on,
A wonder it is, to know God’s Son.

More of His Word, I crave deep inside,
More of His Spirit, who does abide.
Without Jesus, it’s as dark as night,
I truly do need, more of His light.

I desp’rately need more of His pow’r,
Week by week, day by day, hour by hour.
More wisdom, I ask that He would bless,
And I would ask too, for more kindness.

Goodness and mercy, I do need more,
For my precious Saviour, I do adore.
I look to the day, when I see His Face,
I need more, of Jesus’ precious grace.

More of His strength, I need each day,
And more and more faith along the way.
More tender compassion and forgiveness,
With more of Your traits Lord, please do bless.

More of His rare peace, within my soul,
And more patience, and more self control.
More joy, faithfulness, and hope to abound,
All Christ’s wonders are simply profound.

More and more of Christ’s traits we all need,
If in our life, we want to succeed.
More and more of Christ, let us admit,
And let us to the will of God, submit.

More About Jesus

More about Jesus, we all should know,
And it’s to the Bible, we must go!
Man’s vain doctrines, we must cast away,
We must learn more of Jesus, ev’ry day!

More about Jesus, ’tis wise we should learn,
This should be something, for which we yearn.
False teachers bring to you, heresies,
That lead only, to Hell’s agony!

More about Jesus, more of His love,
Truth about reaching, Heaven above!
That all will go to Heaven, is a LIE,
Believing this, is Christ to deny!

More about Jesus, learn what is true,
Christ alone, can bring salvation to you.
Wolves in sheep’s clothing, are filled with greed,
On poor, naive Christians, they feed!

More about Jesus, and how to endure,
We must remember, His love is sure.
Cast away thoughts, that Christ is not near,
He dearly loves you, there should be no fear.

More about Jesus, know He’s your Friend,
Truth and sincerity, He shall commend.
Open your heart to Him, let Him in,
He will help you, turn your back to sin.

More about Jesus, but most want no part,
From all His goodness, they simply depart.
Oh! Dear one, turn and lean more today,
For only Jesus, can save your soul,
Learn more about Jesus, give Him control!

Lord, if I love You, I must love others,
I must love, my sisters and brothers.
Only two commands, You give to me,
Love God, love my neighbor, love’s the key.

Lord Jesus, with ev’ry passing day,
Let me more, of Your goodness display.
Lord, let me completely understand,
Your goodness can be shown, thru’ my hand!

More like You dear Lord, I must be meek,
Humility, I truly must seek.
Conceit and pride, I must cast away,
I must imitate You, ev’ry day.

I must be gentle, with a kind heart,
Fierce, unkind thoughts, from me must depart.
More like You Lord, I simply must be,
And like You, I must live righteously.

I must imitate Your faithfulness,
In a world where doubt and fear does oppress.
More like You dear Lord, steadfast and true,
Dear Lord, help me to be more like You.

Just like You, Jesus, I must obey,
More like You, I want to be, each day.
I must comply, to the commands You’ve giv’n,
If I want to live, with You in Heav’n!

Just like You Lord, I must show mercy,
I must forgive, ev’n my enemy.
Forgiveness, is not easy to do,
But I must forgive, to be more like You.

Lord, let me show true humility,
Show me just what You want me to be!
Cast away any arrogant ways,
Lord, let Your will be clearly display’d!

Each day Lord, let me think more of You,
Let me honor You Lord, in all I do!
Of Godly things, let me be aware,
Don’t let me think only, of my cares!

Allow me to see that I am weak,
Lord, let me always Your pow’r seek!
Let me cast away all vanity,
And let me not do things selfishly!

Let me think more of You, and less of me,
You deserve ALL honor and glory!
Let me ev’ry morning go to You,
For I need Your strength, in all I do!

More of Your grace Lord, in each new day,
I’m willing to hear, all that You say!
Your pow’r and wisdom, truly do bless,
More of You Lord, let me confess!

Less of me Lord, and much more of You,
That lost souls for Christ, we might rescue!
Lord, I can’t do this job on my own,
More wisdom, from You to me, must be shown!

More Shame Than Glory

More shame than glory, on Judgment Day,
For I'll be judged, how I walked my way.
I could have, I should have, why didn't I?
Things I should have done, I let go by.

I could have cared more, revealing God's love,
I chould have done more, in this world of push and shove.
On Judgment Day, much shame will come my way,
I won't have much glory, on that day.

I could have been, more patient with others,
I should have been, tolerant of my brothers.
More shame than glory, the Judge will say,
If I don't change and do right, for that day.

I could have had, much more compassion,
I chould have to others, with mercy run.
I'd rather have glory, but will get shame,
If I don't love and adore, Jesus' Name.

I could have told more people, of the Lord,
I should have, according to God's Word.
I'll be accountable, for many things,
Shame will be one thing, Judgment Day brings.

I could have done, so very much more,
I should have told more folks, of Heav'n's shore.
I must think more, of eternity,
If I want no shame, but instead glory.

I deserve no glory at all, just shame,
But I'll see Heav'n's glory, thru' Jesus' Name.
Help me do right Lord, in days that remain,
So that glory, not shame, I shall gain.

Romans 8:13  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. (KJV)
Col. 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: (KJV)
We must mortify, adultery,
And from fornication, we must flee.
Uuncleanness and lasciviousness,
Our almighty God, will never bless.

Idolatry, witchcraft and hatred,
Any and all these, our God does dread!
Variance, emulations and wrath,
These will keep you, on Satan’s broad path!

Strife, seditions, damnable heresies,
Will keep you away, from Heav’ns beauty!
 Envyings, murders and drunkenness,
Shall give you a place, in Hell’s darkness.

Revellings, anger, wrath and malice,
All these things, we must fully dismiss.
Blasphemy, dirty jokes, filthy words,
Will never from God, bring a reward.
Out of your mouth, must come nice, good things,
Words to calm and comfort, you should bring.
We must not lie, to one another,
Just truth should be spoken to others.

Love, joy, peace, patience and gentleness,
Are fruits of the Spirit, which God does bless.
Goodness, faith, meekness and self-control,
All these things, should be our goal!

Against such grand things, there is no law,
In all of these fruits, there is no flaw!
Mortify the bad things, when they come,
As we praise God, for our Heav’nly Home!

There will be times, when Satan will tempt,
Not one of God’s children, are exempt!
But we have the Spirit, to lead and guide,
And our Advocate, is on our side!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)  . . . If you want to go to Heaven, where the Father is, you have to go through Jesus!

CONCUPISCENCE, n. Strong sexual desire; lust; to covet or lust after, to desire or covet. Lust; unlawful or irregular desire of sexual pleasure. In a more general sense, the coveting of carnal things, or an irregular appetite for worldly good; inclination for unlawful enjoyments.
To God, even secret concupiscence is sin. Sin, violating the commandment of God, produced in a person by concupiscence (Romans 7).
CONCUPISCENT, a. Desiring unlawful pleasure; libidinous.
LIBIDINOUS, a. Showing excessive sexual drive; lustful.
Galatians 5:15-26 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. It’s three strikes, and you’re out, in baseball,
I’m glad that’s not our loving God’s call.
He shows love, patience, and great mercy,
Tho’ we rejected Him oft’, you and me!

He stands outside our sinful heart’s door,
Yet we reject Him; think He’s a ‘bore’.
He continues to knock; wants inside,
He simply wants with us to abide.

He knocks, and knocks, and knocks o’er again,
He wants us to be, one of God’s children.
Time after time, He beckons to us,
By His Holy Spirit, so precious.

The Spirit of Christ strives with all men,
He wants the door of their heart to open.
When you feel His presence, let Him in,
Many blessings of God, you will win!

Our God is patient, ever so long,
Wants you, in His fam’ly, to belong!
But once too oft’, we can reject His call,
He’ll then retreat, and Hell will befall.

The thought of death causes most to fear,
For most, do not want, God’s Word to hear.
Most know deep down, there’s more than this life,
But they just keep on, with fear and strife.

Each has within, an eternal soul,
Most are headed for the gates of Sheol.
Most are traveling the road to Hell,
And most will never in Heaven dwell.

There is a ‘WAY’ you can reach Heaven,
Accept God’s Gift, He’s freely given.
Believe on Jesus, God’s only Son,
And eternal life for you, has begun.

God did not make Hell for human kind,
But for most, the gates of Hell they’ll find.
Just a few, travel the narrow road,
That leads to Heaven’s blissful abode.

Does the thought of death, cause you to fear?
The love of Christ, can make it disappear.
Perfect love gives a way out of Hell,
Accept it, and, in Heaven you’ll dwell.

Most important in the world to me,
Is not what most folk would think to be.
The greatest asset I have, is God’s Son,
For with Him, I’ll never see perdition!

Such great joy and peace within my heart,
For I know deep down, He’ll never depart!
He’s with me now, today and always,
To the end of this Earth’s fleeting days.

He gives me victory o’er my sin,
A wondrous Saviour; always has been!
He paid the debt I could never pay,
And the Father’s wrath from me did sway.

Christ died on that Cross, that I might live,
All that He had, for me He did give!
This kind of love the ‘world’ does not know,
And only Jesus, this love could show.

When my brief life here on Earth is thru’,
He’ll see that my angels will rescue.
They’ll carry my soul to my Heav’nly Home,
Into God’s presence, and I’ll never roam.

If you don’t know my wondrous ‘Friend’,
He’s there for you, and life He’ll extend.
Only my Jesus can give Heaven’s ‘key’,
And in Heaven you’ll live, with Him, and me!

MUCH MORE PRECIOUS . . . Feb.1999 Message

Much more precious than bright diamonds,
Is Christ’s love for us, that does abound.
Love so gracious, merciful and true,
Such precious love, we can’t misconstrue.

Much more precious than a grand ruby,
Is Christ’s love, that brought us victory.
Sin and Satan no longer control,
For Christ our Saviour, has saved our soul.

Much more precious than possessions galore,
Knowing one day we’ll be on Heav’n’s shore.
To live for e’er with Jesus so dear,
With never a heartache, pain nor fear.

Much more precious than earthly power,
Is Christ’s awesome love, that’s there ev’ry hour.
His grace and love and mercy unending,
There for us always, strongly defending.

Much more precious than treasures untold,
His love is more precious than fine gold.
Christ is wondrous, so true; I’m at a loss,
He loved us so much, He died on the Cross.

Satan stands firm in accusing me,
Of all my sins and iniquities.
But I need not worry ‘bout my fate,
For in Heav’n, I have an Advocate!

Satan accuses with mighty roars,
But he’ll never keep me from Heav’n’s door.
My Advocate always takes my side,
I’m secure, what ever may betide!

The devil accuses constantly,
I’m weak, and full of iniquity.
But my Advocate by me does stand,
An ultimate blessing, O so grand!

Satan’s accusations never quit,
But the Blood of Jesus does acquit.
My Advocate the Father will hear,
With Him on my side, I’ve nought to fear!

Tho’ Satan accuses, I have won,
The Father findeth no wrong I’ve done!
My wondrous Advocate stands up for me,
Frees me from sins and iniquity!

Tho’ my disquieted foe accuses,
God won’t hear him, He simply refuses.
Satan names all my sins, one by one,
Christ’s Blood paid for them all; I have won!

I acknowledge my wrongs, my sins I do confess.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquities and sin,
Cleanse and purge me Lord, that I may be clean within.

I was a transgressor from the womb of my mother,
Wrong I went, as a child, speaking lies of others.
I dwell in the midst of people of unclean lips,
Chasten me dear Lord, using your Word as a whip.

Holy God, in sin did my mother conceive me,
Hide thy Face from my sins, blot out mine iniquities.
Give me a clean heart, renew a right spirit in me,
Cast me not away, Lord, let me your truth to see.

Restore to me joy, uphold me with thy Spirit,
Fellowship with you, Lord, I want never to quit.
Keep me from all wrongs, whether thought, word, or deed,
Let me more carefully, your holy Word to heed.

You are the author and finisher of my salvation,
Keep me from sin, from your wrath and provocation.

My tongue shall sing of thy righteousness and grace.

My Altar Is His Cross

The cross is our altar, where we should kneel,
‘Tis the only place, where our soul will heal.
Jesus paid the price, we all should have paid,
All our horrendous sins, on Him, were laid.

Jesus paid our debt, we could never pay,
The will of His Father, He did obey.
He took our place, went where we should have been,
He paid the full penalty, of our sin.

To our altar, to the cross we must go,
Sincere words, from deep in our heart should flow.
Kneel at His cross, with a sacrifice of praise,
As honor to Him, we gratefully raise.

Our altar is His cross, we must go there,
If we want, God the Father’s love and care.
Cast out all pride, for humble we must be,
If we ever want, life eternally.

You can’t get to Heav’n, except thru’ the cross,
Without Jesus, ‘twould be a total loss.
A worldly life with Satan, leads to Hell,
Without Jesus, it is there you shall dwell.

To the cross of Christ Jesus, you must go,
To avoid the Lake of Fire, far below.
If you want Heav’n, just Jesus has the key,
Kneel at His cross, for life eternally.

Privileges of God’s children: Forgiveness (Col.1:12-14); Rest for your soul (Mat.11:28-30); Spiritual knowledge (Pro.1:7; 9:10); Eternal life (Jn.6:51; 10:9); Holy Spirit (Jn.14:16-17; 1 Cor.3:16; 12:13; Rom.8:9); Fellowship (Rev.3:20; Jn.17:3); Peace (Phil.4:7; Col.3:15); Needs supplied (Phil.4:19); Power (Col.1:11-12); Love (Eph.3:19; 1 Thes.3:12); Joy (Ps.16:11; Jn.15:11); Contentment (1 Tim.6:6,8; Heb.13:5);  Comfort (Mat.5:4; Jn.14:1; Rom.8:28; 1 Thes.4:13; 2 Thes.2:16); Patience, gentleness, goodness, faith (Gal.5:22); Meekness, self-control (Gal.2:23). This is just the tip of the iceberg! God has many blessings for His children

This burden I have for all lost souls,
On my saddened heart does take its toll.
Why can’t they see our Saviour so dear?
They just don’t realize He wants them near!

Most just don’t fear our God any more,
They should know that judgment is in store.
Our awesome God created you and me,
And He’s in charge of our destiny!

ALL who reject Christ, are souls that are lost,
Few are they who consider the cost.
Rejecting Jesus by unbelief,
Will bring the horrors of eternal grief!

God IS a God of love; BUT also wrath,
Condemning all those on Hell’s broad path.
If they would just turn to Christ today,
These lost souls would be saved this day!

My Commitment To You

I’ve consecrated my life to Thee,
Christ Jesus who gave me victory.
My heart and soul now belong to You,
Give me the pow’r, that I may be true.

This total commitment, to You I make,
Let me be faithful for Thy Name’s sake.
I hold back nothing; You have my all,
Dear Lord, give me strength, lest I do fall.

Lord to You my life, I dedicate,
It seems all along, twould be my fate.
I am Yours; do with me as You please,
Ev’ry chance to reach lost ones, let me seize.

I surrender all, body and soul,
You are my Master; You have control.
Lord give me strength that I might abide,
Let me walk close to You, near Your side.

Flooding my soul is amazing peace,
Since my selfish desires, they did cease.
Now deep within, is vast hope and joy,
Since in Thy service, I did employ.

The commitment I’ve made, most can’t comprehend,
Firmly I stand by my Saviour, Lord and Friend.
He is my life, and I want only to live for Him,
With His radiant Light, my path is never dim.

Bold and firm, in this commitment I’ll stand,
What e’er may befall, the Lord takes my hand.
Tho’ I get weak, and stumble to my knees,
Encouragement comes from Him, like a cool breeze.

This commitment I’ve made, I do not regret,
Tho’ persecutions and sorrows do beset.
I’ll stand firm and persevere, come what may,
For the Lord’s wisdom and pow’r are there each day.

Most don’t understand, my life I did entrust,
Christ Jesus is my all, and serve Him, I must.
I’m not the same person I used to be,
Committing to Christ, gave me new identity.

Fellowship with Jesus is an awesome thing,
Knowing Him personally, is a blessing.
Serving Him is an honor, ever so great,
A privilege that many underestimate.

Tho’ many times I grieve God’s well belov’d Son,
Thru’ my sinful nature; by evil things I’ve done.
Yet when I repent and confess, He forgives me,
I’m glad I’ve committed to Him, eternally.

My Constant Companion

I will never leave thee, never forsake,
A Promise my Saviour, to me does make.
My Constant Companion, comfort does bring,
Comfort is just one, of many blessings!

The awesome Holy Spirit, for ev’r shall abide,
A blessing to know, that in Him I can confide.
He is always there to help, in time of need,
But we must remember, to Him we must heed.

From the Father proceeds, my Constant Companion,
And He does testify of Jesus, God’s Son.
He shall glorify Christ, and show it to you,
He speaks only the Truth of God, thru’ and thru’.

The Holy Spirit is a Witness, to the Lord,
To listen to Him, brings us great reward!
My Constant Companion, wants me to witness too,
And He also desires, the same thing for you.

My Constant Companion, wants me to obey,
To do things of the Spirit, each and ev’ry day.
We are to avoid, worldly and fleshly things,
For our obedience, shall grand blessings bring.

The Holy Spirit tells me, that I am God’s child,
Ev’n tho’ the devil maintains, that I am defil’d.
He also helps me, when I know not what to pray,
Making intercession for me, all of my days.

My Friend will be with me, till my days on Earth end,
Ever so near, and from the devil He defends.
My angels will join us, when it’s my time to leave,
A blessing indeed, there is no need to grieve!

My Fortress And My Shield . . . Sept.2011 Message

Our God is a Fortress, so mighty,
Always near by, to deliver me.
He is my strength, in whom I shall trust,
His guiding me, is truly a must.

Thou Lord, art my Fortress and my Rock,
I feel Your Presence, as Satan stalks.
You are my Refuge, with Arms open wide,
You deliver me, when I abide.

You are my Fortress, Goodness and Shield,
To Your wisdom and pow’r, I gladly yield.
In my affliction, You are my Fortress,
Just knowing You’re near, You do bless.

Thou, O Lord God, art for me a Shield,
Protecting me from fiery darts, Satan wields.
Such great comfort, deep within I feel,
Peace, joy and contentment, You reveal.

You give me the Shield of Thy salvation,
You remov’d from me, my degradation.
Should I slip, Your right hand catches me,
Therefore my glad heart rejoices, greatly.

You are my Shield and help, my soul shall wait,
And one day You shall open, Heav’n’s gate.
O God, my Shield, one day I’ll see Your Face,
And thank You again, for Your awesome grace.

My Shield and Hiding Place, I hope in Thy Word,
You are to me, as a great protective bird.
You are so good, to deliver me,
My Fortress and Shield, for eternity.

Ps.3:3;18:2,35-36; 28:7; 33:20;35:2; 84:9; 31:3;
Ps. 71:3; 91:2-4; 119:114; 144:2; Jer.16:19; Eph.6:16.

My Greatest Blessing is Christ Jesus, God’s Son,
And I thank Him daily, for all He has done.
He helps me this day, and will for eternity,
And He’s ne-er too busy, to hear my ev’ry plea!

My Greatest Blessing, comfort He brings my way,
An everlasting consolation, I feel each day.
My heart has hope thru’ His grace, each single hour,
For one day He’ll resurrect me, with His power!
My Greatest Blessing, is my Greatest Treasure,
My heart feels it shall burst, with awesome pleasure.
He has gone on ahead, my home to prepare,
Where I will forever, His grand love to share.

Most people want no part, of Jesus the Lord,
And they want no part, of God’s Holy Word.
But that is the ONLY place, to find the Truth,
Be you elderly, middle age, or in your youth.

People keep on in sin, ne-er thinking they shall pay,
They do not think, of what shall be, on Judgment day.
You don’t want to stand, before the Great White Throne,
For agony awaits you, and you all alone!

May I suggest, accept the Blessing so great,
Jesus can keep you, from Hell’s tormenting fate.
Only Jesus, has the key to Heav’n above,
Acceptance of Him, shall flood your soul with love!

The Greatest Blessing e’er, you too can proclaim,
If you trust and believe, in Jesus’ Holy Name.
You can escape, the horrid torments of Hell,
Jesus can reserve in Heav’n, a place for you to dwell.

Gratitude for Christ Jesus, is what I feel,
For I know in my heart, my soul He has sealed.
Jesus can be a Blessed Treasure, for you,
If only you believe, God’s Holy Word so true!

My Greatest Treasure

My Greatest Treasure, blesses me each day.
Ne’er does He depart, as I walk my way.
He tells me, He will ne’er leave nor forsake,
Tis true, for of His Spirit I partake.

Jesus, is the Greatest Treasure to me,
His righteousness, set my sin-sick soul free.
He justified me, making me God’s friend,
Gives to me, life in Heav’n, with no end.

Jesus is worth more to me, than silver or gold,
And more precious stones, than a truck could hold.
Alongside Christ, worldly riches mean nothing,
Just knowing He’s near, is a great blessing.

My Greatest Treasure, leads, guides and directs,
And He’s always close by, me to protect.
His awesome pow’r comes thru’, when I am weak,
He’s with me always, so I need not seek.

My Greatest Treasure, floods my soul with love,
Which I need, in this world of push and shove.
His abundant love, is shed upon me,
As I walk with Him, to eternity.

My Greatest Treasure, is so merciful.
His compassion to me, is wonderful.
When Judgment Day comes, I will have no fear,
For the Judge, my Greatest Treasure, is near.

God’s Word states, that Jesus is many things,
Redeemer, Saviour, Prophet, Priest and King.
But He is the Greatest Treasure, to me,
Freely gifting me, with life eternally.

My Hope and Dream

As I look, at my life in the past,
My many sins, were wicked and vast.
On my mind, were just worldly treasures,
I thought only of “self,” and my pleasures.

But my soul, had a deep, empty space,
Nothing I did, could fill that void place.
Wealth or possessions, seem’d to make it worse,
Made me wonder, “Am I on the right course?”

I went to church, but things did not change,
The pastor’s sermons, to me seem’d strange.
Finally, a dear old man, got thru’ to me,
As he spoke gently, of eternity.

I then knew, I was on the wrong road,
That broad path won’t lead, to Heav’n’s abode.
I sought the Lord Jesus, but He found me,
His Home will be mine, in eternity!

Talking to Jesus!
There was an awesome joy, that I never knew,
‘Til the day I open’d, my heart to You.
You made the diff’rence, In my lonely soul,
Since then, loving You, has been my goal.

Your caring smile, one day I will see,
In my new Home, of bliss and beauty.
I’ll reach out and hold, Your nail-scarr’d Hand,
As I walk with You, on that Golden Strand.

One day my hope and dream, will come true,
For I will spend, eternity with You!
Your soft, comforting Voice, I will hear,
For Lord and Master, You will be so near!

My Inheritance

My three score and ten, are now behind me,
As I keep walking, to eternity.
What lies ahead, I don’t know,
But of this I am sure, to Heaven I’ll go!

I believe what God, has said in His Book,
He gave me wisdom, to open and look.
The Father gave His Son, our sin debt to pay,
He made just ONE Plan, Jesus is that Way!

We must believe God, and accept His Son,
When we do this, salvation has begun.
What Christ did on the cross, we must believe,
He took our place, so life in Heav’n we receive!

His Sacrifice, opened the gates of Heav’n,
To those of faith, eternal life is giv’n.
Only faith in Jesus, can justify,
That makes peace with God, which He won’t deny!

Jesus said, I go and prepare a place,
I think of this oft, as I run my race.
My inheritance, is reserv’d for me,
Ne’er to fade away, in all eternity!

When I arrive, and enter thru’ a gate,
I will be so anxious, to know my fate.
My earnest plea, is to continue to serve,
My belov’d Master, whom I don’t deserve!

Of Jesus, my Saviour, I’m not worthy,
Yet God has promised, life eternally.
Nothing I have done, or ever could do,
Christ already did it! Lord, I love You!

THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO GOD THE FATHER, WHO IS IN HEAVEN!!! John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)
Scriptures for this poem: (Ps.90:10; Jn.3:16; 1 Jn.5:10-13; Jn.5:24; 6:40, 47; Rom.5:1; Tit.3:7; Jn.14:2-3).
1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,  To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5  Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (KJV)

My Last Journey

What e’er Your will is, that is my desire,
I’ll serve You Lord, ‘til this tired body expires.
Grant dear Lord, that Your angels watch o’er me,
That I may live my life, solely for Thee.

I must take up my cross, and follow You,
Or I’m not worthy, to be one of the few.
I must be willing, on Your road to walk,
Or I open myself to Satan, as he stalks.

Let me reach out to others, in their need,
Keep me from lusting, and keep me from greed.
Help me cast off hatred, fill me with love,
That I may be fitted, for Heav’n above.

Absent from the body, present with the Lord,
This is a Promise, I can well afford.
My inheritance, someday I will claim,
My mansion that no one, can corrupt or maim.

My guardian angels, will carry me on thru’,
The old devil’s air space, on home to You.
They will not allow him, my soul to claim,
For I have been seal’d, in the Saviour’s Name!

My Strength and Wisdom

My strength is in, the One Who guides me,
And He empowers, eternally!
Strength to perform, things I could not do,
All because of my Saviour, so true!

My faith lies, in the One Who cannot lie,
As long as I, will never deny.
He’s the lone One, Who can save my soul,
So living for Him, should be my goal!

True love can come, only from above,
Ne’er from this vile world, of push and shove.
Love is a fruit, of the Spirit of God,
And with these fruits, is how we should trod!

Patience is something, that we all lack,
For this we need, the Spirit at our back!
A quick temper, is not a good thing,
Trouble and heartache, is all it brings!

Pride opposes, the meekness of the Lord,
Conceit is something, we can’t afford!
So grand to God, is humility,
As we walk on, to eternity!

Being gentle and good, pleases God,
But pretending these, surely is fraud!
In all we do, we must be sincere,
For the Lord God, is what we must fear!

Each of us could use, more self-control,
For few use it, as in life we stroll!
A bad temper will oft, cause us pain,
While the temperance of Christ, is great gain!

And be mindful as I wait for Your Will.
I cannot Thy purpose for my life see,

The everlasting Saviour sees and hears,
Ev’ry one of our troubles; all our tears.
Let not my heart forget ‘mid all my pains,

If your life is filled with too much sadness,
Let Jesus give you peace, joy and gladness.
Let us remember e’vn if we have pain,
Almighty God o’er all, forever reigns!

My soul rests happy in its low estate,
With no hope nor wish to be esteem’d as great.

God, our Refuge and Strength, and always near,
Teach my impatient soul never to fear.

Let me always trust in Your Divine Will!

On this wondrous journey through the air,
The soul of His servant, they will bear.

My angels will carry me away,

There are times my heart simply does break,
When I ponder o’er lov’d ones, for their sake.
They simply can’t see what lies ahead,
Many tears fall as I lay on my bed.

Some have hearts that are as hard as stone,
The Gospel is hidden, ev’n when shown.
Each time they hear, and don’t let Him in,
They’re harden’d the more, thru’ deceit of sin.

Ears of most are heavy and stopped,
They won’t listen, when the Word is dropped.
Turning their ears away from His Word,
It’s just as if they had never heard!

Then there are those who walk in the dark,
They can’t see Christ, nor Him do they hark.
This disturbs me, gives me great distress,
Why can’t they see Christ? and Him confess?

Satan blinds them; they do not believe,
They don’t understand; they can’t percieve.
If their minds were clear; I pray again,
The light of Jesus would shine on them.

I know I should pray, “All in His will,”
But with these lost ones, it’s hard to be still!
I don’t know who are His ‘chosen’ ones,
I’ll just keep praying they’ll see His Son!

The most crucial decision they’ll e’er make,
Eternal destination, is what’s at stake!
Thru’ tears of anguish, I pray on my bed,
I love them so much, but their future I dread!

Lord, if You would set this servant free,
I’d rush back to You on bended knee!
My desire is to be near You, always,
I want to serve You, all my days.

Your bond servant I will always be,
Here on Earth, and thru’ eternity!
I praise You, dear Master and Lord,
In my heart and life, You are ador’d!

The Gospel of Christ I must beautify,
And His precious Name, always glorify.
I’ll serve You with love and gratitude,
None of Your lost ones will I exclude.

I commit to You with all willingness,
I pray You will continue to bless.
With my life I’ll strive to honor You,
Let me do right and always be true.

I was bought with a price, O so high!
Master, I’m Yours, and I won’t deny!
I ask that Your Word cleanse me each day,
A vessel fit for Your use, alway.

Dear Master, I am completely Thine,
In my works, let Thy glory shine.
In quiet contentment, let me abide,
And imitate Jesus with ev’ry stride!

Lord, let me boast of You in all I do,
Keep my thoughts and words always true.
Give me wisdom and words Lord, equip me,
Master as I serve, give me victory!

My most treasured possession is a ‘Book’,
So worn and tattered, most would not ev’n look!
Nearly ev’ry page marked, as to remind,
Of other places, where in the ‘Book’ to find.

This marvelous ‘Book’, is God’s most holy Word,
It led me to my Saviour Jesus, my Lord.
How I love that precious ‘Book’, and always will,
It gives such great comfort, and a void does fill.

In this ‘Book’, I do find Heaven’s only Key,
It can do the same for you, as it did me.
God’s love is plainly told; how He sent His Son,
How thru’ Christ, eternal life has just begun.

I could not go ev’n one day, without God’s ‘Book’,
In it He gives strength and guidance, if you’d look.
Such great joy and peace will come into your heart,
Don’t turn your back on Christ, nor from His Word depart.

MY PLANS . . . OR GOD’S PLANS? . . . Ja.2004 Message

With careful plans, my future looked bright,
My hopes and dreams blossom’d; all seem’d just right.
At the day’s end, I’d go to God in pray’r,
Lord, bless my plans, and keep me from despair.

As time went by, my plans came tumbling down,
All the smiles I had, were replaced by frowns.
I was confused; I could not comprehend,
How my hopes and plans, came to this tragic end.

Did I not ask for blessings, as I went in pray’r?
And ask that my plans be held in His care?
That my hopes and dreams, all would come true?
Yet failure set in; throwing plans askew.

Then in one night’s stillness and shadows dim,
I heard His Voice; calling me close to Him!
“Why do you make plans, and not include Me?”
“As you now see, it just brings agony.”

“Dear child, please allow Me to make your plans,
Trust Me, and leave the future, in My Hands.
The path you now trod; I’ve seen it before,
Let your faith lead you, to blessings galore.”

My pride was now gone; as I bow’d in shame,
My spirit humbled, as I thought of Your Name.
Precious Lord Jesus; my soul Thou hast bought,
Thank You dearly, for this lesson You’ve taught.

I no longer pray: “Lord, bless all my plans,”
For I know the future is in Your Hands!
Now I pray: “Thy will be done; You plan for me,”
I commit my all to You, eternally.

Father in Heaven, hear my prayer,
Lord, I praise you for your loving care.
I praise you too, for who you are,
The Almighty God, who’s never far.

Father, I thank you for all you’ve done,
For the likes of me, you sent your Son.
He came to save me from the pits of Hell,
Came, to bring me to Heav’n, where you dwell.

Lord, what an awful sinner am I,
I know I’m a sinner, I won’t deny.
Always offending, and displeasing you,
Forgive me Lord, help me to be true.

Good things that I should do, don’t get done,
I give in to wrongs when I should run.
Living for Christ is so hard to do,
I simply can’t do it without you.

Father, please let your Spirit guide me,
Help me to be who you want me to be.
Help me to love you with all my heart,
For I don’t want you e’er to depart.

Father, please strengthen your church so true,
Grant all grace, and peace, each day anew.
I pray too, for all the lost ones out there,
Lord, please help me to love and to care.

Father, I thank you for all good things,
Too, for the troubles, which patience brings.
Lord, I praise you for all that you do,
I’m so grateful for a God like you.

My Prayer To You

Our Father, in the vast Heaven above,
My God, Who is filled with awesome love.
Hallowed and most holy, is Thine Name,
Thy amazing grace, I humbly claim.

Always and only, Thy will be done,
As I pray, in the Name of  Thy Son.
On this Earth, may Thy Kingdom come soon,
I so look forward, to Satan's ruin!

Give us this day Father, what we need,
And chastise us Father, for our greed.
Leave us not, in Satan's temptations,
Keep us from, wicked degradation.

Forgive our sin Lord, when we trespass,
Let us mourn and not let, sins amass.
Teach us to forgive Lord, as You do,
Completely, mercifully and true.

Please don't forgive us, as we forgive,
That would be, a fearful way to live.
Forgiveness is a must, not an option,
Attained, when we believe in Your Son!

Thine alone, is the Kingdom, pow'r and glory,
Now on this Earth, and thru' eternity!
Thy pow'r and glory, shall never cease,
And Thy Kingdom shall be, love and peace!

There, in ev’ry burden I carry,
He gives me peace and serenity.
Thru’ ev’ry trial of each new day,
My precious Guide is with me, alway!

When paths are beset with thorns galore,
My Guide seems to lead me, all the more!
And when Satan sets great tempting snares,
Jesus wisely guides; He’s always there!

Ev’ry where that I go, sin surrounds,
But the wisdom of my Guide abounds!
In wondrous Jesus I can confide,
I must always with my Lord abide!

Tho’ my heart be heavy with worldly care,
Tho’ I have pain, sorrow, or despair.
Christ Jesus is always at my side,
Showing mercy and love, as my Guide!

Tho’ skies are dark, and there seem no light,
My Guide is there, in my ev’ry plight.

MY REWARD . . . Oct.2006 Message

Serving You, Lord, on that street of gold,
My reward will be, Your Face to behold.
Being with You, is enough for me,
There’s no greater reward, in eternity.

Lord, let me serve You, for ever more,
As I live on Heav’n’s eternal shore.
No greater reward, could there be for me,
Than serving my Lord, eternally.

To be with my Lord, who for me died,
Reward for me, is with Him to abide.
I could never His great love repay,
My reward, to be with Him every day.

A reward I simply do not deserve,
My soul in Heav’n, You will preserve.
Abundantly each day, You bless me here,
‘Tis such a privilege, to know You’re near.

You shall grant a reward, for staying true,
A “rest” for me has been prepared by You.
An inheritance, that will never fade away,
Joint heirs with Christ, for eternity’s days.

‘Tis God’s good pleasure, this Gift to give ,
Everlasting, is the life I shall live.
By our awesome God this is prepared,
A reward for His children, for He cares.

Is the reward of Heav’n waiting for you?
Believing God in faith, is what you do.
Only by faith can you ever succeed,
Blissful Heav’n awaits, when you take heed.

Troubles can seem like a mountain high,
But His near Presence, gratifies.
Pain and sorrow may not go away,
But He’ll walk with us, all the way.

We should not worry ‘bout grief we bear,
Just take it to the Saviour in pray’r.

His comforting love is simply best!

Lord, I have such severing ways,
And a tongue that constantly, mars Thy praise!
Instead of nice things I should speak,
My life most times, evil does reek.

Lord, cleanse my soul from all disgrace,
Clear my path, as I run my race.
Let me turn away from wickedness,
So that each day, You can truly bless.

Lord, please teach me, how to forgive,
Cast out hard feelings as I live.
Let me learn: forgive and forget,
That I might not, o’er my hurts fret.

Lord, help me to trust and obey,
As I do rise to each new day.
Trust and obedience; they are bound,
Where there is one; the other is found!

Lord, You say if I want; just ask,
I need more love for each new task!
And Lord, I want, that I’d be meek,
As I draw nigh, and Your favors seek!

Lord, help me mend my severing ways,
Let me show to You, constant praise!
Let just words of love, come from me,
Help me be, who You want me to be!

I love You Lord, from the depths of my soul,
More ev’ry day, since I gave You control!
Fellowship with You, is extraordinary,
You bless me with incredible love and mercy!

Deep in my soul, love for You will not end,
‘Tis a privilege, to have You for my Friend!
You give such comfort and encouragement,
Walking with You dear Lord, is time well spent!

Because of You, my soul is in great health,
Thank You too, Lord, for spiritual wealth.
My desire now, is heavenly treasure,
So I will shun worldly fame and pleasure.

Each day I say: “With my soul, it is well,”
For You have promised, I’ll never see Hell!
From the depths of my soul Lord, I love You,
I must always Your love and light pursue.

My soul is in prison, I have great shame,
Release me Lord, that I may praise Thy Name.
O Lord, You shall deal bountifully with me,
Just You can give me, life eternally.

Give ear to my supplications, hear my pray’r,
I know You are faithful, I know You are there.
Answer me O Lord, in Thy righteousness,
In Your faithfulness, hear me and bless.

Lord, in Thy sight, no man is justified,
Without Christ Jesus, all will be denied.
My soul is ravaged by the enemy,
My spirit is overwhelmed, within me.

My soul thirsts after You, as a dry land,
Hear me O Lord, reach out to me Your Hand.
My spirit fails, hide not from me Your Face,
Keep me from the pit, by Your wondrous grace.

Let me hear each morn, Your lovingkindness,
Help me know the way to walk, as You bless.
O Lord, I lift up my soul unto Thee,
I flee to You to hide me, from my enemies.

You are my God; to do Your will, please teach,
Your Spirit is good, let Your Hand to me reach.
Lead me into the land, of uprightness,
Where for all eternity, You shall bless.

My Soul Is In His Hands

I have a Friend, who takes care of me,
And He does it each day, lovingly.
My soul is in His capable Hands,
Faith in Him, is all He demands.

In His sufficient Hands, my soul does rest,
For He sees me thru’, my toughest test.
He’s always there, He’ll never forsake,
Of His love, I will gladly partake.

His kind and gentle Hands, support me,
When I stumble, and fall to my knees.
He’s there, when I fall flat on my face,
His Hands lift me up, with amazing grace.

His comforting Hands, give me great peace,
Any doubt and worry are released.
Wondrous contentment, He gives to me,
For my soul’s in His Hands, eternally.

In His mighty Hands, my longing soul rests,
For I know He’ll give me, His v’ry best.
The City of Gold, is awaiting me,
Where God’s children shall live, eternally.

My Soul is in His Hands, He qualifies,

Is your soul, in His belov’d Hands this day?

Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; (KJV)

My time on Earth will soon end,
I thank Him, for calling me “friend”,
As my time to go does draw near,
I’m so grateful, I have no fear.

I have no fear of what’s to come,
For I’ll be with Christ, in His Home.
My Heavenly ‘home’ does await,
Angels will carry me, thru’ the gate.

I have no fear at all of Hell,
That’s not the place where I shall dwell.
Christ paid the price; redeemed my soul,
I’m Heaven bound; He’s in control!

God sent His Son, that I might live,
If I believe, my sins He forgives.
Believing on Christ’s wondrous Name,
Puts me in Heaven, His Word is plain!

Belief in Christ takes away fear,
E’vn tho’ my time to go is near.
For if from my body I am absent,
I know with God, I am present!

Do you have fear of where you’ll go?
Will it be Heav’n? or Hell below?
Only CHRIST can give you Heav’n’s key,
And give you peace, and set you free.

Daily troubles will not go away,
But Christ assists; He is my Stay!
Firmly He grasps my trembling hand,

In deep, dark nights when I cannot see,

In storms of life, with winds so wild,
Fiercely they blow, but I’m His child!
My trembling hand reaches for His pow’r,
He won’t forsake me, at any hour!

This life’s path, I know I must tread,
With Jesus near, I feel no dread!
‘Tis He that holds my trembling hand,

With my trembling hand, I’ll hold tight,
Securely gripping with all my might!

MY WONDERFUL SAVIOUR . . . Aug.1996 Message

Jesus is my sunshine, glorious and bright,
He’s always there, no matter how dark the night.
He will always be there, so close by my side,
If only in Him, my Lord, I will abide.

When my feet want to slip, or when I should fear,
He’s willing to help, and my life to steer.
Without my Saviour, it’s always dark night,
But when I call on Him, it’s brilliant light.

He’ll never forsake me, He’ll always be true,
My wonderful Saviour, there to help you too.
Do you have a burden, you carry anew?
He’s patiently waiting, to bear it for you.

When I get weak, with no strength of my own,
He will never let me to stand all alone.
Always there to give power in my plight,
I’m never so far that I’m out of His sight.

What great comfort, what joy, mercy, and such peace,
And endless love for me, that will only increase.
These come in the form of my Saviour, my God,
And He’s willing to share these blessings abroad.
